Matthew and his band STILETTO completely blew us away! We could hardly walk around the venue without guests constantly coming up to us saying how amazing they were! My now husband and I knew they would be amazing - we had every confidence in that leading up to our wedding but they went above and beyond even what we expected! Matthew surprised us by playing several custom songs we asked for but didn’t know if they would actually do. I cry thinking and looking back at how special they were to us! The guitarist playing the ceremony made a very nervous bride feel at ease getting down the aisle with his music. Matthew did the best wedding party introductions, suggested the most amazing father / daughter & son / mother song, and played our dream first dance song better than the real artist! The last set he blew us away with some “Jersey” songs that got everyone up and still talking about today! Working with Matthew & STILETTO was easy going- he led us through the whole process & knew how to make it seamless. We cannot thank each band member enough! Hands down they made our most important day beyond special and amazing!!!! THANK YOU! ❤️ now I just wish we had a tape of every song they played 🤍

Matt made all my wedding band dreams come true!! He was so easy and fun to work with. I can’t even tell you the amount of people who came up to me and said they were the best band they’ve ever seen! Matt and his band played at our NYE wedding celebration. To say we had the best night of our lives is an understatement. We had so much fun!! Our guests had so much fun!! The band was so much fun!! Matt was really laid back and easy to work with. He created an awesome play list based on a huge list of songs we like (from Billy Joel to Beyoncé to frank sinatra). They played background music during our cocktail hour and then 3 sets until 12:30am and rocked it all night! They even played a song they have never played for our first dance and a country song to throw back to my Texas roots. Wow, we could not have asked for a better band. Strongly recommend them for any wedding or event!

If you want to have a wedding that will leave everyone talking about how good the band was then I would recommend hiring Matthew Friedman & Stiletto. They were professional, played all of our requests beautifully, and they even brought along a sound technician to make sure the levels were just right. I grew up in a very musical household (my parents met in music school) and our crew has very high standards… this band just absolutely blew us away. Planning a wedding can be so stressful, trust me you are in great hands with Matthew. So glad that Stiletto was part of our special day.

Matt Friedman & Stiletto are the one thing that my guests are STILL talking about, and we got married almost two years ago. Matt is so easy to work with from the first conversation to the beautiful thank you email he sends after your event. After you book him, which you should most definitely do, he goes through everything you want at your wedding, and doesn't leave anything out. We gave him a song list that ranged from a motown medley to punk pop, all the way to learning a song from The Goofy Movie through every request Matt said No problem! He truly makes your day even more special than you could imagine. He keeps the dance floor full the ENTIRE night. One of the hilights about Matt & Stiletto are that there is never prerecorded music playing. I've been to some weddings with bands and when they take a break they put a playlist on and you're not getting live music. There will be live music throughout every second of your event and it is beyond lovely. He is kind, caring, and truly wants to make your day the best it can possibly be. After I got married, my sister used him for her wedding as well. We want to throw another big party just so we can hire them again. They are incredibly talented musicians that we were lucky to have at our wedding. Live music at a wedding really does make a tremendous difference. I know that it is more expensive than a DJ but in my opinion, and my husband who is a music purist, it is MOST DEFINITELY worth the extra money. We enjoyed every minute of our wedding and it was in large part due to Matt Friedman & Stiletto. I hope I get to go to another affair with them very soon.

LOOK NO FURTHER!! We were searching for a band for quite a while that would sound great, be able to play the songs we wanted, and not put us in financial ruins. We stumbled upon Matt Friedman and couldn't have had a better experience. Before the wedding, Matt reached out to us to ask us about our music preferences, songs we liked and that they would use the list to curate a playlist for our wedding based on our vibes. We thought we had a pretty good schedule of what we wanted the night to look like but while using Matt’s knowledge of having done over 2500 weddings, we changed up the timing of some things and am I happy we did. The night was a blast and almost every guest told us how much they loved the band. They were able to play every song we had requested. We loved the music for the ceremony, the cocktail vibes, the upbeat band for dancing, the more mellow music for dinner to allow for some conversation and the rocking out all the way until the end of the night. They had every person up and out of their seats until the venue closed down. I could not recommend them more to be your go to band for ANY event.

BOOK THIS BAND! Just do it. The amount of wedding guests who have asked me for Matty's info since our big day is unbelievable. They were truly incredible, and it's hard to even put into words how amazing they made our day. They were professional, friendly, and most importantly, had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Several people came up to us at the wedding/since the wedding, saying this is the best wedding band they've ever heard, and consequently, the best/most fun wedding they'd ever been to! We had 2 songs on our list that were not on the band's set list (not common wedding songs), and Matty and the band learned both songs so perfectly, it sounded as if we were at a concert of the original artist. When I look back on my wedding day, some of the best memories made were on the dance floor with all our friends and family. Matty and the band truly know how to party! I guarantee all of your wishes will be exceeded with this band.

If you're reading this review and you're looking for a band for your wedding or event, you don't need to look any further. Matthew Friedman and Stiletto are one of the TOP wedding and party bands in New York City. Matt and his crew performed at my wedding in 2022, which my family, my wife's family and all of our friends still insist was the BEST party they have ever been to, mainly because of the amazing music. Matt and his band know all the hits and can play 7 decades worth of songs, all of which sound 10 times better than the original recordings. Plus, there's nothing like a personal, professional touch, which is a rarity in any business these days. Matthew meets with you in person if you like (unlike some of those "corporate" New York party mills that just want your money and switch the bands out on you at the last minute, sending you the "D" group that you didn't pay for). He is not in a hurry and will cater the list of music and the timing of the evening to your specific needs. He made me and (more importantly) my wife feel very comfortable through the entire process, even with a few last minute changes as things evolved... and by the end of the whole event we felt like he was a member of the wedding party. Our ONLY regret is that we can't get married a second time so we can do it all over again.. it was that much fun and easy to put together! Matthew has been at this for over 20 years and knows the New York city wedding and society music scene inside and out. His group is comprised of some of the top studio and performance artists in the NYC music scene and that is also specifically curated depending on the kind of music you want. His band works a wide variety of gigs and he can knock it out of the park whether it's a black tie affair at the Rainbow Room, yacht cruise, broadway sized theater, jewish temple or backyard party. He's equipped to handle pretty much any and all events. You'd be doing a major disservice to your guests and your party if you booked a different band. Fingers crossed that he has the dates available... he is very popular. I already plan on booking him for my parents 50th wedding anniversary, just so we can enjoy his performance again.

Matthew and Stiletto played our wedding in May 2022 and they brought the house down! They graciously accommodated our wide taste in music and rendered amazing versions of both classic oldies and pop hits. I was even able to take the mic to do my best Taylor Swift impression when they played "22". They were perfect for what we were looking for in a wedding band.

Matthew and his band Stiletto not only played my wedding but they played my Mother and Step Father's wedding in 2017. So when it came time to book my wedding in 2021 there was no other option but them. I can't say enough amazing things about this band , their musicality, their professionalism and communication. The songs we wanted and the order we needed were easily received and executed the day of the wedding. At the last minute I wanted a Violinist BOOM we got one. Is there nothing Stiletto cant do? I don't think so - I would hire them again for how easy it was to book them, to deposit to contract to choices and then the party. WHAT A BLAST - They sound amazing and I cant say enough about them .HIRE STILETTO you wont be disappointed. Remember a great band can MAKE your WHOLE affair memorable. Stiletto is the one.

We were lucky enough to work with Matthew Friedman & Stiletto for our wedding on 10/1/22 and I cannot say enough incredible things about them. That day, we used a 8 piece band and they absolutely killed it! People were dancing the entire time! The band was great at playing a variety of songs and being interactive throughout the event. They were so popular that all of our guests wanted their info immediately. We highly recommend the band as they made the night incredible. Thank you so much again!

I want to have another party just to hear this band play again. They are incredibly talented and so accommodating. You want pop punk music played? You got it! You want a song they've never heard of before as your father daughter dance, no problem! They will accommodate everything you want. Matt is such a pleasure to work with, he feels like family now. I was married on June 4 , 2017. Just over two weeks ago. I still have family members calling to talk about the absolute best band they've ever seen. If I could give more than five stars I would. Matt and his band were absolutely the life of the party and made our wedding night- hands down. We have so many music enthusiasts in our family and everyone- EVERYONE- cannot stop raving about Matt and stiletto band. Just yesterday we received a call from my husbands 94 year old grandmother whom came to the Wedding in a wheelchair- even she had to get out of her chair and dance! The excitement in her voice when she called blew us away and all she wanted to talk about was the band!!! From start to finish Matt was very hands on, returning calls immediately and answer every question we had. He was even patient enough to work in specific songs my husband had in mind. Trust me- make planning your wedding a little easier and book these guys ASAP. It's the best decision we made throughout our entire planning process and without a second thought I'd do it all over again. In fact, we are looking for a reason to throw another party just to have them play again! The best there is- simple as that. Truly made our wedding.
