d experience with reaching out to other photographers in the area and was a bit hesitant in the beginning when dealing with the owner of another company, but once we met Matt for our engagement session, I was extremely happy we chose him as our lead photographer.
Having photos taken of you can feel really awkward but Matt made my husband and I feel really relaxed and comfortable, and it turned out to be a lot of fun! You really do spend most of your day with your photographers so it's better to have a good relationship with them. We really lucked out with Matt because he was so professional, easy-going and just a great guy to be around with. Out of all the things that was going on in my head as to what I had to worry about on the wedding day, I never had to worry about photography.
AND our pictures turned out to be so beautiful and I am forever grateful for having Matt photograph these amazing moments for us to cherish forever.

So having a great personality and being an overall fun person truly is an added bonus. Matthew captured the fun and theme of my wedding day in even more ways than I could have thought was possible. not going to direct you where to stand and what to do unless you really want! He worked his butt off the night of our wedding getting some amazing shots that truly told our story, though-- my husband said after looking at the proofs that he learned more about our wedding night from them than he did actually being there! Matthew is a great photographer and a really fun person too, and we were so happy with the results. His prices are excellent for the level of service you get as well-- you even get to keep all your proofs!
