wanted to make sure I got right. This was hiring a photographer. I took my time finding one. After seeing the pictures on his Facebook and website I knew he was the right fit. Matthew took the time to get to know my husband and I as a couple. He also asked us what we wanted throughout the wedding. I could go on and on about Matthew, his wife Leslie, and Josh his assistant. I highly recommend them!

all our vendors had great communication, which Matt and Leslie had from the get-go recommending a FaceTime meeting to get to know each other and go over options. Everything from there out went off without a hitch. Perfectly responsive, easy to coordinate with, took initiative in helping us schedule our engagement session. When the weather didn't cooperate for a local engagement shoot, Matt drove across the state to Tampa to meet us for our session. His photos were absolutely incredible, despite not being as familiar with the area (and despite the weather being terrible again! He made it work!). He dedicated his whole day for our engagement session and provided us with many more photos than were expected. The whole session was above and beyond. For our wedding day, they reached out ahead of time to get our wedding party and family member's names, a timeline of events, shots that were important to us, family situations, etc. This helped immensely for having everything run smoothly the day of, and ensured that every moment was perfectly captured. There were several moments I wanted a picture of something I noted going on, and Matt was already there. He was completely tuned into us and didn't miss a second. Every photo is incredible. And there are >1000. His level of professionalism is unparalleled. His expertise is apparent in every set-up. He provided us with many unique settings with a different mood for each. His experience with lighting is one aspect that truly sets him apart from other photographers. He's able to capture spur of the moment shots with natural lighting, and has the skills to set up dramatic shots with his lighting. He kept it fun. Our bridal party kept mentioning how impressed they were with him, and even the fact that he knew their names going into the day. He got smiles out of our flower girl, which was not the easiest task. He took our ideas and made them better. Hiring Matthew as our wedding photographer was one of the single best decisions we made when it came to planning our wedding. I cannot be happier or speak more highly of his worked and his business.

o, to my last conversation with them just a few weeks ago, I have had nothing but positive interactions. When I first met Matthew and Leslie at the bridal show, I felt like I was speaking to genuine people. I didn’t feel like I was being pressured or being scammed by some gimmicky sales pitch. They showed me their work and gave me their prices. They were very reasonably priced for the amount of services you got and their amazing quality of work. I met with Matthew to discuss our options, ask questions, and to review more of his work. My now husband and I clicked with Matthew. He made us feel comfortable and we knew he would make the experience fun. Almost a year later, we did our engagement photos. He drove all the way to Amalie Arena and Hillsborough State Park for no additional fee. I am no model, (I think my husband might be) but he guided us and the pictures turned out great! We got tons of photos in color and black and white. Our wedding was last November at a location Matthew had never photographed before. He drove up the day before to get his bearings and speak to the owner of the venue. Before the wedding, I was sent a questionnaire and spoke to Leslie regarding the day of schedule. This was a great help to me because without it, I may have missed some important pictures I wanted to have taken. On the day of my wedding, he arrived with a second photographer, Josh, who was also a great personality match with my husband and I. I like to be a goofball and Matthew made sure to capture that. We got tons of nice photos of us and our guests, but he made sure to get plenty that would make me laugh later.  This was one of the few vendors I did not have a hard time reaching. Their response time was very quick and they consistently and thoroughly answered my questions. My photos were given to me a little passed the originally quoted date, but they were definitely worth the wait. You can see the time and attention that was put into each photo. Everyone who has seen our photos have been very impressed. Matthew, Leslie, and Josh were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them for whatever the occasion.

et all the photos we wanted and more in a short amount of time. His style and the photos he captures are gorgeous and his creative use of light makes for some unique and timeless pictures. He's also a really fun photographer that will keep everything relaxed and your bridal party smiling.

me really neat candid shots of us getting ready before the wedding. Matt and his assistant arrived early to look over the venue and touched base with us to make sure that everything was on schedule. He was flexible when we requested an impromptu group shot of guests who had worked with us (20 plus), which he ended up almost needing a ladder to get! There are many photos that we didn't even realize he had taken until we saw our photographs; he has an eye for what's important and meaningful to each individual couple. He found the most photographic spots at our venue - it was an overall wonderful experience. Matt really made our special day even more special and memorable. We highly recommend having them commemorate your special occasion!
