From the first initial conversation I knew Matt would be a great photographer. He eased my mind throughout the planning process. The day of was awesome through the stressful event and timing he was able to capture all these special moments. Matt was very personable and got all our photos done quickly. My biggest concern was I didn’t want my wedding to feel like a constant photo shoot. He got all of our photos done super quick! He was able to send us sneak peeks very quick and got our photos back sooner than expected! Super happy with everything!

photography for our reception, and yet Matt was able to be flexible and accommodating to our needs, while also making us feel like our big day was just as special and grand as a 10-hour event. Matt is excellent at making everyone (bride, groom, families, kids) immediately feel comfortable and at ease, not even really recognizing there was a photographer present or make anyone feel awkward. By the end of our time with Matt, we felt like old friends, asking him for recs for wineries to visit on our mini honeymoon (we took him up on it, he was right, it was good!). And the quality of the photos?! Incredible. Captured the moment and immense joy, happiness, love, and levity absolutely perfectly. We always felt like ourselves, just enjoying the moment, and the photos Matt captured looked and felt authentic and real to us. Incredible craftsmanship, artistry, and talent, and we consider ourselves lucky to have had this special day and moment captured by him. Would absolutely recommend his skills and services for anyone in the Bay Area in a heartbeat!!

ntire time with our timeline as well. On the day of the wedding he was right on time, I was running around the house getting ready due to a variety of mishaps and he took it in stride and captured some of the most beautiful detail photos and getting ready photos. While I was running behind he improvised so successfully with photos of the groom and groomsmen, which came out amazingly! At the venue, he was easy going with guests and captured so many photos of the small intimate moments between my husband and I as well as little moments we had with guests, they all came out like they’d been posed but they were completely candid! He sincerely made every single person as well as myself and my husband look amazing, Matt is incredibly talented! Every single photo came out so amazing and so beautiful, composition wise, editing wise, everything is just so amazing. I don’t think there was a single moment he missed throughout the entire day, every detail is captured so beautifully. The professionalism, expertise, just everything was so beyond amazing. Fantastic at communication as well. So beyond blown away by the photos and just how amazing the entire experience was with Matt from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier!

our wedding day. Matt was so kind, professional, organized, and on top of everything we needed him to be. He arrived early the day of our wedding and was ready to go with everything we had previously discussed. There was no confusion and it was probably the only element of my wedding I didn't feel stressed over because I trusted that Matt had everything under control. Neither my husband or myself are comfortable being photographed but Matt put us at ease and allowed everything to feel natural. I was incredibly impressed with the quality of our photos and how well he captured our personalities through photo. Matt covered every single element of our wedding that was important to us, and even more than we asked for. I could not give a higher recommendation! I strongly encourage you to check out his photography and use him for your wedding!

de us totally comfortable with being in front of the camera (which we all know can be uncomfortable and awkward with the wrong photographer!). He helped us with poses and mood and we LOVED the outcome! The photos were so beautiful and completely captured our love for each other. Our wedding was in the redwood forest at 11am and Matt was perfect getting photos of us getting ready, our "first look," formal portraits with our bridal party and family, and of the wedding itself. His photos made our special day look even more magical than it was! I didn't even notice his presence during the wedding, which is just what you want, yet his photos are right up in there, showing every detail! Matt also photographed our dinner reception and we loved how willing he was to spend the whole day with us, capturing every special moment. I HIGHLY recommend Matt as your Engagement, Wedding, or whatever other special event photographer!
