atie were worth every penny (and then some). Our images are among my most cherished posessions and made every detail of that day look magazine worthy. Katie is an incredible stylist and not only did she do my hair and makeup (and photograph alongside Matt!), but I also sought her guidance for many stylistic questions. As a team, the operate as one and together they made being the subject of their lenses an effortless joy. Hiring them was the best decision we made in terms of vendors. We have since hired Matt and Katie to take photos of our family and every picture they take is pure gold. If you meticulously plan every detail of your wedding and painstakingly try to ensure your day is perfect, do yourself a favor and hire Matt and Katie so you can relive it again and again. Matthew. When we look through our photos we relive those moments full of love and pure happiness that were in the air. His photos truly transport us back and gave us a special glimpse to the other things that were happening around us that we didn’t get to see, like those special photos of our ring bearer and flower girls playing together and our beloved family and friends watching us with love as we were saying I do and those laughs brought by our father’s speeches. Matthew was a quiet presence that day, capturing special moments at the church and venue from all perspectives. It was very impressive to us all of the angles and quantity of photos he was able to capture as he was the only photographer. From day one we knew he would be our photographer because of the calm vibe he gave. He and his wife were instrumental in our worry-free day because of their help in building us a perfect timeline that fit our schedule. He was very flexible in our request and patiently guided us through the process. Matthew at the end of the night became like one of our guests. We highly recommend him for any occasions, you truly will not regret it.

was. Matt is not that. He's exceptional at what he does, and he made us feel comfortable and let us enjoy our small moments in-between the chaos. Most importantly he captured those small moments which are some of the best memories I have of my wedding. To me that's priceless.

ow awkward we truly are in front of the camera by looking at our beautiful photos. They were always quick to respond to our emails and easy to get in touch with. They pay close attention to detail and have such an eye for things. Their style is very organic. No cheesy poses/photos when you work with these two! Matt also shot video footage of our two day wedding (American ceremony and Indian ceremony) using an analog film camera. People have literally cried while watching our highlight video. It was that beautiful. We will definitely work with them again in the future!

d us a shoot at the French Legate Museum in downtown Austin. Bryan and I had a relaxed and enjoyable time laughing with Matthew and Katie as they just let us "do our thing". They are more than just wedding photographers: they helped us plan everything leading up to the wedding day including the day of timeline, best colors for photo shots, which earring to wear, and the coolest flowers. (I'm wondering if they should start a wedding event planning side of their business, too?!) Our wedding day brought rain in the morning, but Matthew Moore Photography totally kept me calm and they found some awesome outdoor shots away from the clouds and the rain. Matthew even walked around with a sheet for me to stand on to keep the dress spotless. For the ceremony and reception at Tiny Boxwoods, they found the best detailed shots to capture everything from the menu, the ring-bearers pulling wagons outside, and our first-look. We are SO, SO pleased with every picture and love the signature gallery that MMP created. Gosh, when I got sick and was unable to get the CD with the images from our wedding, Matthew even took the extra time to email the gallery to me when it was ready as a sort of "chicken-soup". Wow...did it make me feel better! If you are looking for photographers, you'll be missing out if you don't choose Matthew Moore. We love them and plan to go grab a cup of coffee with them anytime we're close to Austin because they are just that friendly and fun to be around!

Matthew and Katie were very straightforward in communicating on the day and were very responsive to what we wanted. They made us feel so at ease. Katie even helped with some last minute bouquet fixes - they are such a great team and really cared about making us happy and comfortable down to the little details. And then of course the photos arrived and we couldn't have been happier - they captured our day so beautifully. We absolutely loved working with them and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

had initially planned on getting married in Austin, TX (we're from Philadelphia), scheduling conflicts prevented this from happening. When news of this came to Matt and Katie, they were more than willing to accommodate our venue (and state!) change. Upon meeting the duo, we instantly felt at ease, and this comfort translated to gorgeous photos. Matt is great at keeping you laughing through the process, and Katie has an amazing artistic eye. We feel really lucky to have had them at our wedding and would definitely recommend the pair to any bride-to-be!!

Trust me when I say that having a photographer who is fun and makes you feel comfortable will make all the difference on your wedding day, and it will show in your photos. I truly believe our photos turned out great because we felt comfortable in front of the camera and were able to laugh, relax, and enjoy ourselves. What I love most about Matthew's photography style is that he prefers candid shots over posed photos. The posed photos are beautiful, but the candid ones of us laughing together and enjoying the day are the ones we treasure the most. Worth every penny. His style is unique and unlike anything we had seen before. His photos are modern and simple, but they also have a sort of nostalgic, dreamy look that is hard to find. Matthew just gets it. We love our photos so much, and we are glad we found him!
