About this vendor
Hi there! My name is Matthew Reiter and I'm a wedding photographer based in Southern California. I have been shooting weddings and events full time for almost a decade now, and have been behind a camera most of my life.
I use both natural light and off-camera flash in my photography in order to provide soft and natural images along with bold and creative ones. I'm always interested in creating larger-than-life photos that you'll want to share and pass on to future generations.
From sunlit kisses in the forest to enchanting portraits with windswept veils, I always try to give you lots of variety in your gallery. I love documenting the pure joy felt by you and your loved ones on your big day and I strive to capture moments that you can reflect on with every year that passes.
My photography packages are customizable to suit your specific needs and budget. I understand that every couple is different, so I aim to work closely with you to determine how to perfectly capture your day within your means. I am happy to offer engagement sessions, boudoir photoshoots, wedding portraits, day-after sessions, and trash-the-dress sessions to create a comprehensive collection of images of your new beginning. If you desire a destination wedding I can also create a special package for that as well.
Please don't hesitate to reach out by phone, text, or email and we can even set up a video chat.
Thanks and I look forward to speaking with you!
All the best,
Matt

Matt was awesome to work with for our wedding. Out of all the vendors we worked with, he needed the least instruction and allowed us to focus on everything else. He and his team ca...
me prepared to take detail shots and getting ready shots with little to no assistance from us.
We appreciated how much care went into our first look shots, they coordinated everything to make sure guests wouldn’t see and we wouldn’t see each other until it was time.
My only pieces of feedback are that the team should carefully look at all pictures delivered in the final package. Our package had an obvious wardrobe malfunction that I only found after I had already sent out the photo link to friends and family. Luckily we were able to take it down before grandma and grandpa saw.
I also would’ve appreciated a glance behind the camera every now and then to see how some of the shots were coming out. In a few shots I look stiff or awkward and I think seeing how it was looking in the moment could’ve helped me adjust.
Overall such a pleasure to work with and we are very happy with the final results. Thank you Matt & team!!
A True Artist Behind the Lens – Matthew Reiter Photography Made Our Wedding Unforgettable
From the moment we stumbled across Matthew Reiter’s portfolio online, we were completely c...
aptivated. His work was unlike anything we had seen—raw, emotive, and breathtakingly beautiful. We knew instantly: this was the photographer we had to have for our wedding.
Our first phone call with Matthew only confirmed what we had hoped. He was professional, kind, and incredibly thorough. He asked thoughtful questions, truly listened to our vision, and made us feel completely at ease. We hung up knowing we were in the very best hands.
When our big day arrived, Matthew and his partner exceeded every expectation. They were present without ever being intrusive, gentle with their direction, and patient with every moment of chaos and emotion. Their attentiveness, calm demeanor, and eye for detail helped bring our vision to life—and then some. And now, having received our gallery… I’m honestly speechless. Each photo is a work of art. Somehow, Matthew captured not just the beauty of the day, but the joy, the tears, the laughter, and the love. We will treasure these photos forever. If you are even considering working with Matthew Reiter Photography, do not hesitate—he is truly one of a kind.

he was the one for the wedding. His pictures are AMAZING. We received so many compliments. We even used our engagement photos for our sign in guest book and it was a hit. The day of the wedding he was on time, knew exactly how to pose us, where to pose us and our bridal party loved him. Our parents really liked him as well. He got all the best shots and I can't wait to see the rest of our wedding photos. You won't regret hiring him!
