When we were running late (our fault not his) he was able to get us back on track. We found his editting style to be exactly what we were looking for and has an great artistic eye. n, and good price point. My husband hates every photo of himself and groans at mention of a picture, but he was genuinely pleased with our engagement photos and loved the wedding photos. They were crisp, clean, authentic, and perfectly captured interactions. We had almost 100 photos the morning after our wedding! Matthew was the most engaged vendor I worked with, and I am so incredibly thankful that he and his second shooter (super sweet) captured our special day. We did an engagement shoot first as a trial run and were really happy with the experience and the photos so we kept him on as our wedding photog even as other plans fell apart along the way. I kept getting drawn to two different photographers here locally with a clean yet candid style and I sent them both emails via what's on their instagram. From initial response within a few hours I knew Matthew cares for what he does and genuinely wanted to make my wedding images be amazing. He answered so many questions right off the back and through our zoom meeting (darn pandemic) he answered even more questions I didn't even know were a thing. I didn't think I wanted engagement photos because we are so awkward in front of the camera but he absolutely nailed our photos at the Desert Botanical Gardens and gave us so many posing tips and cues to make things less awkward and more fun. For most of the session we just laughed and kissed and had fun and it was so easy. My now husband even felt that the engagement session was easy and fun and he said on the ride home he couldn't wait till our wedding because the photos were going to be so amazing. When our wedding day came around Matthew and his 2nd shooter were professional and even when separated didn't skip a beat. Everything was so fun and relaxed... I woke up the next day late to a text from Matthew that he had been excited about our wedding photos and spent the night working on them. Right away we had a sneak peak of sooooo many images and I just burst into tears because they were just so amazing. He captured the real us! My family lost it when they saw the sneak peek and my 2 best friends all were just flabbergasted that I already had a ton of images from my wedding when they hadn't seen more than 2-3 from their own wedding 3 weeks prior. I would recommend you drop everything and contact Matthew because he just is everything we could have ever asked for in a wedding photographer.

He was excited for us and kept the energy high. Most importantly, Matthew is super talented at what he does and he delivered several fantastic shots of us and our guests. istic. His style is wonderful in every photo, but it really comes to life in venues like the Desert Botanical Garden where we were married. As someone who is often self-conscious about how she looks in photos, I was a little nervous leading up to the day since photos were one of the things we were willing to spend the most on. But Matthew made me comfortable immediately in front of the camera, told me exactly how to pose, would constantly exclaim how great everything looked, and that made all the difference. I was at ease and I look genuinely happy in the photos. And I absolutely LOVE how I look in every photo which is usually pretty rare for me! He put my engineer husband at ease, too— my cute nerd looks like a model! He’s also so speedy without compromising the quality of photos. We had sneak peeks within a few days— no set timeline obviously as every client load and schedule is different, but the photos were STUNNING. I know everyone is supposed to tell you you’re beautiful and your photos look great on your wedding day, but I had several people tell me that these were incredible and they weren’t just saying that because they loved me— the photos were some of the best they’ve ever seen. Honestly, if you AREN’T using him for any of your photos— wedding, pregnancy, family, just for fun— it better be a family friend with a really good deal. His Instagram is pretty active too and very representative of the style of photos you will receive. I didn’t know him before looking for a photographer for my wedding, but I can definitely say we will be repeat customers and refer all of our friends. Our day was so magical, and in his work you can feel our joy, the excitement of our friends and family, the beauty of nature, and it makes us shine.

Matt handled the situation very well under these stressful conditions. He incorporated different photos with umbrellas etc. and utilized the overcast lighting for beautiful shots. d was able to share an enormous amount of photos with us that Matt had taken the time to get to the bride as quickly as possible. It wasn't even my wedding, but I showed off those photos with pride to EVERY person I saw because they were gorgeous. al thoughts on what “done right” means. When me and my now husband met with Matt the first time, it was a done deal. So friendly, professional, funny, honest and most importantly driven. He had a higher expectation for how our photos would turn out than we did, and we are beyond grateful. When we got our preview photos, we were floored. I mean, gaping mouths and all. They reminded me of the hundreds of photos I had saved from blogs, sites, Instagram, you name it. If you wanna go big, get ready to go bigger and go with Matt.
