We had such a great experience with Mattoon Golf & Country Club! From booking and planning to decorating and the wedding day itself, everything was easy from the start. The whole process went smoothly, and we were able to enjoy the day instead of stressing over all the details. Chef Ron was fantastic to work with! He was great about bouncing ideas around with us so we could create a menu that was fun, laid-back, and felt more like us instead of the traditional, boring wedding dinner. Donovan was also great and always willing to answer my random questions along the way! The food was great, our guests had a wonderful experience, and everything came together just as we hoped. We loved our experience so much that we chose MGCC again for our daughter's wedding the very next year! I think that says a lot about how happy we were with the venue and the team. If you're looking for a venue where you can make your wedding your own, work with great people, and enjoy the process from planning to the big day, we would absolutely recommend Mattoon Golf & Country Club. We were happy to celebrate two very special family occasions there!
