Matty B was truly the highlight of our September 26, 2021 wedding. When my husband and I first started wedding planning, we were torn between having a DJ or a band. My photographer recommended Matty B, who is “a little bit of both.” We watched him play a few times at local restaurants, and he is exceptionally talented. If I were to compare his voice to someone, he reminds me a lot of Michael Buble. He played saxophone, guitar and sang, as well as DJed. He knew exactly what song to play to keep everyone on the dance floor! Since our wedding, I have had multiple friends/family members inquire about him, some of which are hoping to book him for their future weddings! I would 100% recommend Matty B to any close friend or family member. Thank you, Matty B, for making our wedding FUN and unforgettable!

Matty B was hands down the best DJ/ entertainer I have ever had the pleasure seeing! Everyone made it a point to come up to my husband and myself to rave about how amazing he was! He got everyone up and dancing and really made it an amazing experience.

Matty B single handedly made our wedding! I wanted a DJ and my husband wanted a live band but luckily with Matty B, we both got what we wanted. He was on the saxophone during cocktail hour walking around the event working the crowd. Later in the evening after dinner he dj’d and our guests did not leave the dance floor. He was open to all of our song requests and made sure during the planning process that we had all the songs and types of music we wanted to be played on a playlist. Matty B is a joy to be around and was a blast to have at our wedding. Our guests are still raving about him and another family member even had him at his event 2 weeks after our wedding. The first thing people mention to me about our wedding was the incredible musician/DJ, Matty B! I had seen videos of Matty playing at weddings and heard him playing live online, so I was confident that he would be an incredible choice for music at our wedding. During the cocktail hour, Matty played live music (guitar/saxophone) and sang. Before seeing him in the room, many of our guests just assumed that the music they were hearing was a recording, as it was that impressive. During the reception, Matty was energetic and personable without seeming insincere. His singing voice is fabulous and his ability to move around while performing (singing and playing instruments) was so entertaining. I truly do not remember one moment when the dance floor was not full of people having the time of their lives. During the wedding, countless friends and relatives approached me in astonishment, saying how blown away they were with the entertainment. In addition to performing our preferred songs and some of his staples, Matty also played live songs upon request! If you are looking to have live music and a DJ, Matty is the best of both worlds! We cannot rave about and recommend him enough. He is truly a talent professional and we were lucky to have him perform at our wedding.

After hearing great reviews from family and friends, my fiance and I decided to hire Matty B for our wedding. He absolutely blew us away! Three months after our wedding, our guests are still talking about how great the music was. From the cocktail hour saxophone, to the reception dance floor duets with his partner Luann, we couldn't have been happier. Matty played every song we had put on our "must-play" list and paid close attention to our selected ceremony, first dance, and parent dance songs. He's professional, responsive, and extremely talented. We couldn't recommend him more!

2 words: BOOK HIM. Everything about Matty B's performance was beyond anything we could have even dreamed of. The first words out of every guest that night were "Where did you find this guy!?", and everyone is still raving about him today - 6 weeks later. We booked Matty B for the full night: ceremony, cocktail, and reception. There ceremony and reception were in 2 separate buildings, and Matty B was able to set up sound systems in both spaces without hesitation. He played live sax as guests were arriving and during the ceremony. And continued with live sax, guitar, and singing throughout cocktail hour and dinner, and then got the party going! I know I'm biased since it was my wedding, but I've never been to a wedding where the dance floor was so packed all night and everyone was having this much fun. I've been to weddings with 10+ person bands that don't even compare - Matty B is so unique and truly a special talent. His YouTube videos are great, but they do not do him justice. He was super professional, knows how to read the room, had perfect music selections, and I could go on and on and on. I hope you stopped reading this review 5 sentences ago to go BOOK HIM.

Matty B is simply amazing! Months later, we still have guests commenting on how awesome & talented Matty was. Our only request was to keep our guests on the dance floor all night and that was precisely what he did. Between the variety of saxophone/singing & DJ, Matty provided the finest wedding entertainment and we couldn’t have made a better choice.

Matty B Entertainment is not just a DJ but an experience. My wife and I hired him as our DJ for our wedding reception. In addition to playing a wide range of musical selections, he also sings, plays saxaphone and acoustic guitar. He does an excellent job of mixing it up. Our guests were blown away at what he brings to the table. He got everybody up and dancing and really knew how to work the crowd. He is extremely personable and professional. You will not be dissapointed.

What a hit!! Matt came highly recommended from a friend and he did not disappoint! We were worried that we wouldn’t have a very lively crowd because it was mostly older guests but Matt got everyone on the dance floor and impressed everyone! So many guest were asking us where we found such a talented DJ/musician!! He was so laid back and relaxed it made us very confident that he would handle anything that came up! He met with us multiple times before the wedding and helped us pick the best songs and mood for the night. He came up with this amazing moment where my husband arrived to the ceremony on his tractor and Matt switched from beautiful saxophone playing to “She Thinks my Tractor’s Sexy” by Kenny Chesney!! It had our guests so pumped up for the night and he never let the mood die down after that! I cannot recommend him enough! Worth every penny!

Matty B was an incredible entertainer! I say that because at our wedding he wasn't only a DJ, but a singer, guitarist, drummer, and saxophonist. What impressed me most is his DJ'ing was far and between, I felt like most songs were played by him, and he was amazing. I also appreciate his communication throughout the entire process. We Skyped when needed because he was out of face-to-face distance to meet. We had several contacts through phone, e-mail, and text and he was very timely with all of his responses. He was also very accomodating to all of our requests, including playing our 1st dance song! The best compliment I can give is that everyone who was at my wedding stated he was the best entertainment, they kept asking if he had a card, and I kept telling them, "go ask him, I'm sure he does! An amazing experience and I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for more than some average DJ experience!

Matty B was the hit of our wedding. Prior to the wedding he was more than willing to meet with us so that we could get comfortable with him and his work, and he was very responsive to emails and texts. On the wedding day he was FABULOUS. I cannot even begin to say how many positive things the guests had to say about him. Every guest felt as though they made a genuine connection with Matty B and he was fantastic in terms of captivating the audience. His calm demeanor and positive energy made for a fantastic night! We really wanted a quality DJ and the fact that he was a fantastic DJ and played live music was fantastic. His execution of the saxophone made for a unique twist that guests were not expecting and made for a wedding we will never forget. The live music was a huge added extra that was loved by all. Matty B literally made our wedding. The majority of rave reviews centered around Matty B. He is a jack of all trades; he did acoustic and sax at our cocktail hour, MCed the wedding traditions, played some guitar in the dining room while people ate, and DJed at the end with some added singing and sax. It was AMAZING. I thought other reviews were joking when they said that their friends tried to book him mid-wedding but they weren’t kidding at all; so many people have told us they approached him during the wedding and will book him in the future. Book Matty B, you will not be disappointed.

Matty is by far the BEST musician/DJ out there in the wedding world. He truly is the difference between a good wedding and a great wedding. His musical talent is unbelievable. One second he is playing the sax, the other second he is singing Michael Buble (and yes he sounds just as good, if not better than Buble). He kept the party going all night at my wedding. Not a person was in their seat because everyone was on the dance floor! He is such a blast. If you are looking for someone who is fun, can read a crowd, has great taste in music, is different than an average DJ, and will keep the party going all night, Matty is your guy!

Matty B was an excellent choice for our wedding at Glen Manor! I would say his flexibility with regard to what we wanted was spot on. We weren't exactly sure how we wanted a few things to go that night so he made us feel very comfortable in leaving our options open and seeing how it played out. We loved the fact that he mixed some live music, especially during cocktail hour when he was floating around with his saxophone. He also met us prior to the event to discuss everything and was always readily available when we needed him. A true professional and a great performer!

You will not go wrong with Matty B! We had him as our entertainment for our outdoor wedding reception at our home in August of 2018. With over 200 guests, entertainment was so important ...he nailed it!! He mixed up live saxophone and singing with awesome DJ-ing. His performance was amazing and he worked his way around with our guests playing his saxophone and singing. He’s very professional, organized with his planning for your music selections, and he’ll absolutely keep you and your guests happy!! Sound quality was also top notch. We still have people asking us where we found him.

Matty B was awesome. His mix of live music and DJ kept the party going all night long. He played live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests have not stopped talking about how amazing he was! He was always willing to play anything requested, but also followed our base playlist we provided. I found Matt Bernier while attending an event at the Sagarmore Resort in Lake George. He blew me away! I knew I had to have him for our wedding. I got a business card off of his table and called him first thing that Monday. As our wedding was only 5 months out I was sure he would be booked. Luckily, he was available and I booked him on the spot. Matt Bernier was beyond amazing. Our wedding guests still talk about how great he was! I even had a few friends try to book him while he was playing at our wedding. That's how great he is! If you want a truly talented musician and DJ, Matty B is your guy! He really knows how to get a party started! Make sure you request his saxophone services. That's where he truly shines!

He has high energy and can play/sing tunes that are liked by all ages! He walks you through the process and allows you to pick songs, etc. using a user-friendly database, giving suggestions when asked. After the wedding, he sent photos and a quick video that captured some memories from his perspective. His attention to details is overwhelming! He will be the best money spent for your wedding. We would recommend him to any couple looking to have the best time dancing and enjoying their wedding reception.

Incredible performer! Incredible talent! He does it all. We initially came up with a number of songs we wanted Matty to play at the wedding. But then we went to see him perform one night and were blown away by his singing, his sax playing, his entertaining. He was the complete package. So, when it came time to go over that list of songs, we just threw it out and told Matty to do what he does! Let me tell you, that worked out tremendously as he was amazing at the wedding! Everyone was singing and dancing all night long. We have been to many weddings over the years and never, ever have I been to one where after the last song was played, the crown was chanting the DJ's or entertainers name! Matty B! Matty B! We can still hear it now. There is no doubt that everyone should have Matty B as their entertainment, no matter what kind of event it is as they will have the time of their life! Matty B is an exceptional entertainer! Our reception was absolutely fantastic and we had so much fun! It was everything we had hoped for and more! We met Matty B at my matron of honor’s wedding the a couple of years ago. We both wanted a DJ that could cater to all ages for a reception playlist and do more than just play music. Matty B does just that! He reads the room for appropriate song choices, sings (very well!!), and plays both the saxophone and guitar!! Our guests were extremely impressed with his talents and how easily he worked the crowd. Never was there a moment where we felt anything was over the top or too invasive. Matty B knows exactly how to interact with guests in a tasteful, respectful, and engaging way making sure the dance floor is full the entire night!! He also took some videos of his own at different parts of the reception and sent them to us after the wedding!! A super nice surprise :) In the months leading up to the wedding, Matty B was very professional and easy to work with! At the time of booking, we were living in TX so we could not meet up in person, but we spoke on the phone. He sent us a questionnaire to plan out each part of the reception, as well as lists for us to fill out (only if we chose to) for must play, maybe play, and do not play music. A couple of weeks before the wedding, we went through the schedule of our evening and answered any questions. He was very knowledgable about what works and what doesn’t, and was able to give us advice on things if we weren’t sure. It’s been 3 months and our guests seriously cannot stop talking about how amazing he was and how much fun they had!!! In fact, my cousin immediately booked him for their wedding next year! So looking forward to seeing him again! We simply cannot say enough about his talents, professionalism, and entertainment! If you are looking to have a party that will be talked about for years to come, we highly recommend him for your wedding or any other special occasion!

MattyB: Muscian, DJ and MC Extraordinaire! “Amazing!” … “Wow! Where did you find him?!?” … were typical of the OH-SO-MANY compliments we received from our wedding guests regarding MattyB and his music at our July 2017 wedding celebration. We are an older couple (both in our 50’s) and some of the elements in our wedding ceremony and reception weren’t necessarily “traditional”. However, MattyB worked with us to tailor our special day to be just the way we wanted it to be … and he was fantastic! MattyB was very flexible in helping us with all of our needs and ensuring that everything went smoothly – serving as sound system engineer, musician, DJ and MC – for our celebration that had both outdoor and indoor elements. We had an outdoor ceremony and were concerned that our guests would be able to hear well … MattyB set up his first class sound system, and the words that were spoken and the special recorded song we had selected for our service, came across clearly and were of a perfect volume. After the wedding, during the hors d’oeuvres and refreshments hour held on an outdoor deck, MattyB strolled amongst our guests, entertaining them with his wonderful saxophone playing. When we moved inside for dinner, MattyB subtly and expertly orchestrated the evening while continuing to delight everyone with his incredible singing and wonderful instrumental pieces, while mixing in recorded music we had specifically requested for the occasion. When we opened up the dance floor, it filled up instantly and remained that way for the rest of the evening! Dancing to MattyB’s live and recorded music was so much fun! We wished the evening could go on and on … MattyB was everything we had hoped he would be and more … He truly helped to make our wedding celebration an absolutely wonderful and memorable occasion! Wow! Matty B set us up with Amanda Carr and she was incredible! We got married on 8/12/17 and she was everything I had imagined plus more! Amanda helped us pick our songs, organize the order of the wedding events. She was responsive and helpful. Her voice and music was unbelievable! Everybody kept raving about her and wanted to know more about her. She kept people dancing and we all just had the best time! She was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. Matt was extremely talented, professional, and fun! Our friends are still (1 year later) talking about how unique and awesome Matt was at the wedding. If you want a memorable experience with someone you can trust to deliver awesome music and make sure the night runs smoothly – Matt is your guy. It was important to us to have live music for certain parts of the reception, but we didn’t want to pay for a full 8-piece band. We liked the idea of having a DJ once the formal parts of the night were over when everyone is just dancing and having fun, and it was awesome that Matt could still interject some live Saxophone, singing, or other instruments. Matt was able to deliver the perfect type of music and mood for each part of the wedding and we felt fully comfortable trusting him to use his judgement and didn’t have to worry about micro-managing the music/flow of the evening. He’s great at reading the room and interacting with guests to get people on the dance floor. We would definitely recommend him to any friends getting married in the area.

Matty B was phenomenal! Not only did he knock our reception out of the park he was very accessible and easy to work with the months before the wedding. We met Matty B after a family friend went to a wedding and highly recommended him! He said Matty sounds like Kenny G so if you want classy mixed with modern day fun he's definitely the guy to talk to. Boy are we glad we did! After meeting with him and listening to his music online we realized he perfectly fit with what we envisioned and wanted for our special day. Before the wedding he sent us a detailed questionnaire that helped us all communicate and discuss our vision for the evening. He was open to all ideas and had a great wealth of knowledge about our venue, reception schedule timing and what worked well. We liked that Matt is more than a dj. He is an entertainer! He reads the room, makes excellent song choices, sings and plays the saxophone. Our guests were floored with not only his musical abilities but that he worked the audience and crowd throughout the entire night. It was done in a way that was classy and fun rather than over the top. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had at the wedding and how they just loved the "saxophone guy"! Matt also took some informal videos during the evening and without asking he complied them and sent them to us after the wedding! Talk about going the extra mile! Overall, couldn't say enough about how talented and wonderful Matty B was to work with! Amazing! Matty B was a total hit at our wedding !!(3/11/17) He offers a perfect combo of a DJ and live music. He mad our wedding a blast for us and our guests of all ages!!

I would recommend matty b to anyone for any event! I got married in april 2017 and i am beyond pleased to say that i absolutley loved matty b. He went above in beyond before/ after the wedding day. We had a fairly small wedding, and with a good number of introverts (including the groom!), my biggest concern was with guests not dancing all night. Well, I shared my concern with Matt, and he was the absolute best at drawing people out to the floor. The venue had to cut us off because we would have kept dancing the night away! We had a truly beautiful day and every person who came up to compliment something always started with - Matt is awesome! Matt performed at our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner reception. He did a mix of DJ and live music. One of the most common compliments from our guests was in regards to his seamless transition between DJ and Live music. You just couldn’t tell when he was singing or if you were listening to the original track. We had several musicians among our guests, some who even perform at weddings like Matt, and they were all incredibly impressed. Not only is Matt incredibly talented, but from a wedding planning perspective, he made things stress free. We met on the phone with him a few times throughout the six months in advance of our big day. He helped us to understand the best timeline for our needs, different options for introductions, and met every request we had. His online planning tool made us confident that all our song selections would be played at the right points of the day, and everything went off without a hitch. If we are ever in need of music entertainment for a future event - we’re calling Matt. I hope you do too, you won’t regret it!

I'm sure you have heard of "Matty B" or knows someone who knows him. He is the one man band that will make your entire wedding night! My husband and I saw Matty B when we were attending a wedding five years ago. At that moment we knew that we had to have him play for our wedding! Music is his passion and he is dedicated. Matt will entertain the crowd during cocktail hour, and in our particular case, crowds of people were dancing! He is so talented with his voice and plays the guitar, drums and saxophone! He has a survey that you use to tell him what songs you would like for different parts in the night. He provides you a link which contains multiple and most popular song choices for different parts of the reception, such as mother and son, father and bride, garter, cake cutting, to name a few, which really helps during the planning process. We met with Matt a few days before the wedding to finalize some key details. He went over line by line to avoid any confusion. He was even able to customize some songs right then and there. We would recommend Matty B for your wedding or any other event! He was very personable with our guests and all the single couples raved about how they want him for their wedding!!! If you want an unforgettable wedding, Matty B is the way to go!!!

Matty B was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding (if not the best!). We knew we wanted great entertainment; live music and someone that would keep the dance floor packed all night by playing a variety of classics and new hits. We found that person in Matty B. From the moment we reached out to him we knew he was a true professional. He responded quickly to my inquiry and because we were local, he gave us a few places he would be playing that week and we went to see him live. Within 10 minutes of seeing him perform we knew we had to book him for our wedding. From there our experience only got better. He has an online planning form fit for a Type A bride and met with us twice to get a full understanding of our vision, all while providing helpful suggestions from all his experience. On the wedding day itself he even exceeded our expectations! He engaged the crowd without being obtrusive and the dance floor was PACKED all night. Matt is extremely talented, my guests loved him. Overall he did a great job through the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception with a combination of live music and DJ. I did feel though that some of the music I requested to play wasn't played so that he could showcase his singing. My cake cutting song also wasn't played, it was some random song I had never heard. I would still recommend him to other brides for the experience alone.

Absolute hands down best DJ, so glad we selected Matty B Entertainment for our wedding! All of our guests couldn't believe how talented Matt was, from playing the saxophone while the guests found their seats, during cocktail hour to the interaction throughout the night while playing various instruments and singing along. Many of our guests didn't realize he was actually singing due to the fact of how similar his voice was to the artists. Absolute phenomenal job all around. He made the entire process a breeze and made us both at ease knowing everything was handled in such a professional manner.

Matty B was the highlight of the night! If I could clone him and could have made him all of my vendors I would have. So responsive, friendly, and helpful. Book Matty B - best decision you will make for your wedding.

DO IT. Matty B is seriously the most unique DJ / one-man insane band you will ever find. At first I hired Matty for just the DJ service because I was thinking, who is this man that dances around to all my guests singing with a saxophone? I am so so so glad we sprung for the live music as well. Not only is Matty AMAZING (you won't even be able to tell he is singing versus the original version at some points), but also he will bring a unique flair to you wedding that will keep everyone talking for weeks to come! Some guests referred to Matty as a renaissance man because he can do everything. Everyone was crowding around him. Matty is perfect for venues with difference spaces too. During cocktail hour, which was in a separate room upstairs from the ceremony, he was able to bring his instruments and engage the crowd in singing and dancing. He moved around seamlessly through the room. Matty is super professional in both demeanor and attire. He kept all the events running on schedule and was not overbearing or attention-seeking. He made sure we felt special. A DJ is sort of like a host for your wedding, so you need to make sure you pick someone professional like Matty who can engage your guests appropriately and ensure everything runs smoothly. Matty was very in sync with the feeling of the crowd. He knew when to let our first dance play to the end since we were enjoying it so much (even though we had suggested that we may not need whole song). I'm so glad he did! He uses such good judgement on what to play and when to play it. Sound system was great. No problems there. Matty did ceremony and reception. Just pick him. You can't regret it. Your guests will be impressed and entertained and you will have a very special night.

Ask for Matty B to do live performance at your wedding. DO IT. He charmed quite a few of our guests with serenades as he walked around the tables singing and playing saxophone, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our night. Besides that, he was the perfect wedding DJ. He was calm, friendly, and organized. He asked how to pronounce names and if we wanted special intros, and was willing to buy songs that weren't in his collection already. He has great energy and knows how to get people up and moving on a dance floor.

MattyB is flat out a top notch performer and DJ. His combination of live instrumental music and DJ services, left the guests at my daughters wedding in awe. Since the wedding we have had nothing but text messages and other accolades on such a magical wedding, which MattyB greatly contributed to. He also provided superior uplighting which was an exact match to our color themes. A true professional in taking ownership of the music activities and master of ceremony of the wedding. And MattyB truly recognizes who the real stars of the wedding reception are, the Bride and Groom, as he adapts to all their preferences. Saxophone, Guitar, and DJ mixing, provide a fantastic party atmosphere. It is no wonder the accolades year after year just continue to pour in. MattyB thx for all you did on this special day in my daughters life.

Matt is extremely talented! He is the best of the best! Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him. Every single one of our guest can't stop talking about how great he was. His entertaining brought everyone out to the dance floor, even our 80 year old grandparents! He really interacts with everyone, his saxophone playing is amazing, and he really focuses on making his clients happy. I would recommend him to anyone!

Matty was so great! Our guests loved him!!! He kept the party going all night! He also did our music for our ceremony. He came on time set everything up and did exactly what we asked of him. I would recommend Matty to anyone! He really is the best!!!

Matty B skyped us before our wedding and helped us pick songs for our wedding. He was attentive to our needs and request. Our guests were in awe of his talent and loved listening to him serenade them with his saxophone. He's one of the best!

Matty B is the best of both worlds when it comes to Wedding music. We love live music but have certain songs that we wanted to hear a certain way (like for our first dance). Matty B provides great DJ service with live entertainment on the sax and singing (at one point I had to ask someone if it was Matt singing or the artist's track...it was Matt, very impressive!) I had a bunch of guests come up to me and ask where I found him, they were so impressed! He was on the dance floor playing and interacting with guests throughout the night, adding to the party atmosphere we were looking for. We also had Matt do music for cocktail hour (which included a traditional Jewish service that he assisted with wonderfully) and the ceremony. We had three separate areas to set up in (all of which needed microphones which he set up and provided for us) and a lot going on with our blend of tradition and party and Matt did an AMAZING job executing everything perfectly. With all of the stress of a wedding, it was nice to know we had a true professional to run things, one less thing to worry about! There was an Israeli dance that some women in my family wanted to do/hear and Matt was able to get the song right then and there, which meant so much to my family including my grandmother. I thank him for making this such a special event. Matt was also such a pleasure to work with, we are so glad we went with him for all of our music. Definitely a smart choice.

I cannot say how amazed we were with how awesome Matty B was on our wedding night. The ambience of the saxophone and guitar created an unforgettable evening that our guests are continuing to rave about! We even had several newly engaged couples want to use Matty B at their upcoming wedding! He had the dance floor filled the entire night and everyone was amazed and singing along with all of his songs. We could not have asked for a better DJ and live entertainer for our wedding night! Wow just wow!!! Matty b is extremely talented and we couldn't of asked for a better DJ at our wedding. I heard Matty B play at a family members wedding and I knew right then that I would hire him eventually for my own wedding! He is beyond talented and unique!!! He sings, dj's and plays saxophone. He played the saxophone as I walked down the isle and it was so special and beautiful. He then sang, dj, and played saxophone for the cocktail hour and reception. My guest were truly blown away by his talent. There were many times where guest thought a song was playing but then they realized it was actually Matty B singing that particular song! He is so interactive with guest, he walks around the entire ballroom and makes sure to included everyone, and even my grandmother was on the dance floor with him singing. He had the dance floor going all night. Guest came up to me endlessly that night saying how amazing and talented he is and how he's the best DJ they have ever seen at a wedding.
