was primarily though Alyssa and we met Brittany when we were on island for our wedding. Alyssa had us fill out a priority list and a vision form. From there, she took our ideas and was able to create the wedding of our dreams. Communication was prompt and Alyssa made every effort to ensure what we wanted was in the wedding and when we had to compromise, she was on top of any changes we had to do. We were unable to make it to the tasting of our caterer so we trusted Alyssa and Brittany to go. They have us great feedback when it came to the menu and we made the necessary changes. We did not taste it until the day of our wedding and it was amazing! Our guests raved about the food as well! It was very important for us that our guests had a good time. It was mostly everyone's first time to Hawaii so making sure they had a fun experience was priority. She was able to coordinate all the extras we wanted to enhance our guest experience; we had oyster shuckers, shave ice, keiki tent, photo bus etc. She made a list of vendors and payment links to make it easier for us to keep track of them. lan a Maui wedding without visiting beforehand, I knew I needed to entrust and rely on our planner wholeheartedly to provide vendor recommendations and every single person that MLW found for us was truly amazing. Our guests could not stop talking about how kind and professional both the MLW and other vendor teams were and how the day felt so organized and well put together. We had a few hiccups that Brittany quickly jumped in to help with such as our tableware company canceling on us last minute which funny enough was one of the vendors I found on my own. Brittany stepped in right away and found someone to be able to provide plates, chargers, and decorative candles within TWO days of our wedding. Brittany and Alyssa were also very accommodating with my mind changing during our rehearsal to move our entire ceremony indoors because we loved the charm of the chapel at Maui Pineapple Chapel. Overall, we could not be more happy with how everything turned out and we are so grateful for the entire Maui Love Weddings team!!!

edge of wedding planning and the Hawaiian Islands were exactly what we were looking for. After locking in our contract with Maui Love, we got to work! Brittany built us a personalized Google Drive with a survey to understand what our dream wedding included, several instructional documents, budget and personalized item trackers, and lists of preferred vendors. Coming from a project management background, I was in love with the attention to detail. Initially, we relied mostly on written communication, but about 8-months out from our wedding, we set up routine virtual meetings. I would be astonished if any wedding has ever been planned without a few speedbumps. Our first speedbump was a delay in our wedding venue’s opening, which got pushed out to just a week before our wedding date. Bryan and I were both amazed at how Brittany took charge of the situation. She set up bi-weekly calls with the venue to get status updates on construction and asked questions that we would have never thought of. She built out contingency plans and helped us remain calm throughout it all. During this time, Brittany began transitioning in a team member, Alyssa, to assist with the planning. Brittany and Alyssa worked as a team to lock in all of our preferred vendors and helped us negotiate down many of the proposed vendor costs. They were truly the dream team! A year of planning flew by, and when we arrived in Kauai a week before our wedding, we got to enjoy a stress-free week with our friends and family thanks to our phenomenal planning of Maui Love. But alas, one final speed bump hit us with full force. Kauai had massive storms leading up to our wedding day, and our ceremony and reception were both planned to be outdoors. Alyssa found out two days before our wedding day that the service road leading to our venue was inaccessible due to the heavy rain, so our reception tent could not be delivered. This meant that our reception could no longer be outside. Before raising this issue with us, Alyssa and the hotel came up with a full contingency plan and presented it to us in a way where it came across as a positive change. After digesting the news, our one wish was that our ceremony remained outside, and it was clear that Alyssa was going to make that happen no matter what. Fortunately, the sun came out on our wedding day, and everything was absolute perfection. Our wedding party and guests were so amazed by the seamless transitions throughout the day and the outstanding organizational skills of the Maui Love team. Bryan and I were even able to take a mid-morning nap the day of our wedding because of how confident we were that Maui Love would pull everything together. Over the past year, Bryan and I learned that there is so much more than goes into planning a wedding than we could have ever imagined. Brittany, Alyssa, and their team know exactly what it takes to create a wedding that is comparable to a piece of art. They always knew the right questions to ask and were on top of every issue that arose, which took most of the stress off our shoulders. We could not recommend anyone more highly for planning a wedding than Maui Love! We will miss our frequent calls with them, but we know that they will always be our ohana.

They couldn’t have executed my vision any better. In addition to pulling off an incredible wedding, they were both calming and full of warmth and grace. The promptness and professionalism blew my mind. It’s always a risk and an investment when you agree to plan a destination wedding because more than likely you’re making decisions on vendors without ever physically seeing them and spending a lot of money doing it. But despite taking a risk, everything fell perfectly into place and the guidance given to us from Maui Love couldn’t have been more spot on. from my venue coordinator (Maui Tropical Plantation) I asked for a team that was energetic, flexible and ready to deal with a high strung off island bride. And Brittany answered my prayers. Planning a destination wedding felt like a breeze with her. I was able to text her/call her/email her and she always got back to me in a timely manner. We got married at a private residence so there were a lot more factors to consider then a typical venue. Alyssa was amazing in helping me through this process and always FaceTimeing me and sending pictures of the property. There were a few issues with vendors that I had selected and Alyssa handled these all so well and letting me enjoy my time in Maui before the wedding. Alyssa also knew how very important this day was to us not just for pictures and video but for the overall feeling we wanted to experience. to this worldwide pandemic, we rescheduled our wedding to May 2021. Our first meeting was via phone as we live on the East Coast. We discussed their packages, our wants/needs and dreams, and the different Vendors on Maui for our destination wedding with Brittany. I created our Pinterest board which I highly recommend doing so that your words become visual for you and your Planner. I feel like this really helped Brittany envision what we wanted. From there she created a “dreamscape” which outlined the details we wanted for our wedding. From the beginning of hiring Brittany, she was on top of things. She communicates well and is friendly, understanding, patient, and professional. With all of the things that happen during the planning and implementing a wedding, she maintained her composure for me. Since we had to postpone our wedding in 2020 to 2021 Brittany ensured that she contacted all our Vendors and informed them formally. She handled all communication and ensured they were available for our new wedding date, which for me was a huge stress reliever. Keep in mind that we bought the larger package from Brittany which included this feature. You as the client can be as active/inactive as you want with your Vendors. We had various vendors for our wedding and MLW+E offers a budget tracker to ensure that you both stay on track for accountability. Planning our wedding was very drawn out due to the pandemic and even though there weren’t any or many weddings being performed Brittany was still in my corner and responding to all my messages. You can communicate via phone/text, but I recommend maintaining all communication via Honeybook for tracking and review. I really enjoyed building a friendship with Brittany. She’s so awesome and she and I are very similar in character so it made things a lot easier. We definitely had fun and it was better when we were face to face as she is so cheerful. Brittany understood what I wanted for our wedding and made sure that it happened. The week leading up to our wedding we just verified payments and Vendors. She coordinated our Rehearsal at our venue which was great so that we could see the location again. On the day of the wedding, she ensured that all the Vendors showed up on time and were in place. Also, making sure that they were doing what they were supposed to do. Brittany, also had an assistant helping on the day of as well. There was a lot that she did on the day that I definitely missed since I was getting ready and doing photos so I cannot speak entirely on this, but what I can say is that nothing seemed out of place. Everything was done the way we wanted as per the Dreamscape and it was absolutely beautiful. I am very grateful for my experience with Maui Love Weddings + Events, primarily with Brittany. I really appreciate you bringing our dream wedding to life from a distance. Wedding planning, without a pandemic looming in the background, is already stressful enough, but working with Alyssa made it all a breeze. Although we did a smaller wedding with only our immediate family, there were still so many decisions to make and I felt overwhelmed at times. Not only did they provide consistent updates, answer my hundreds of questions and provide solid vendor recommendations leading up to the wedding, but went over and beyond on our big day. Every detail was covered and they were so adaptable when I asked for minor changes. order to plan everything for us was incredible. They were welcoming to plan conference calls with us at odd hours due to the five (5) hour time difference between New York and Hawaii. All the details such as venue, flowers, transportation that Jen and myself were nervous about, Alyssa and Brittany took care of and the day of the elopement went off without a hitch. They even drove all the way to the top of Haleakalā and scouted out the area before we made it there ourselves to exchange our vows. And although the weather conditions weren’t great, Brittany and Alyssa found the perfect spot for us to exchange our vows, take photos and do most of the shooting for our wedding video. Those wind gusts were no joke along with some rain, Alyssa and Brittany were there through the whole thing. They were by Jen’s side through the entire proceedings and made sure she was 100% comfortable and ran every decision by her before pulling the trigger. I had no idea where to start and from my first phone call with Alyssa I immediately felt like everything was going to be just perfect.She is extremely organized and on top of everything. She is an amazing listener and she executed all my wants and dreams perfectly. Her check lists were extremely helpful and our follow up meetings leading up to the wedding really kept me feeling like things were getting done. The night before my wedding I was basically in tears when Alyssa & Britt arrived at our home on the big island. We went over last minute details and literally within an hour she was telling me to leave for the hotel to rest & she had it under control. I was freaking out but they sure did finish everything on the checklist and then some! For instance, Our cake server hadn't arrived on time and on our wedding day I had already come to terms with the fact that I would just use any old knife to cut our cake. When it was time for our cake cutting ceremony I had noticed that Alyssa had totally decorated an old junky cake knife and serving set to match my theme and it was completely perfect. This is how on top of it this team is. My bartenders were lost & late, and they figured it out without me or anyone else finding out. My cocktail hour performer was late and I had no idea. Four out of my seven bustles on my dress broke off and they fixed them. I seriously cannot list every single time they saved the day but trust me when I say that Maui Love Weddings made my wedding the wedding of my dreams. Do yourself a favor and consider them for your wedding, even if your wedding is not on Maui. You will not regret it. I'd like to also add that they helped me find my DJ who they worked together seamlessly. He was amazing and they worked together beautifully. Alyssa & Brittney!! Brit literally checked up on me consistently and was always there to send a sweet text that would reassure me that she had it taken care of. She flew in the day before set up, we met to go over last minute details. The day of set up was a breeze! We had a 350 guest wedding, with 42 tables. Brit was constantly working and never stopped till the whole wedding was set up. EVERYTHING WAS JUST AS I VISIONED IT IN MY HEAD! The best thing, I had no stress at this point and any decision I trusted Brit to take care of, knowing that she understood the vision that I was going for. Night of the wedding, if there was anything that went wrong, I still don’t know till this day. My husband & I enjoyed the best night of our lives. This was so out of character for me but when you meet Brit you’ll understand the amount of trust I had for her. It’s like trusting your closest family member.
