Maui Make Up Artistry

d about five different artists on my wedding day who glammed me and my group of 13 ladies. The stylist were all on time and we’re so amazing to talk to and they just made us feel so comfortable and so excited for our big day together! I had the honor of being glammed By Sarah, and given the most perfect bridal up do by Amber. Both of these ladies absolutely blew it out of the water for me. They Put my dream bridal look to real life. I had full trust in both of the ladies who glammed me that I did not have to worry that I wouldn’t like my hair or make up. The fact that I did not have to worry about that was a dream come true- my hair was absolutely everything I dreamed of, Amber did everything I asked for. And then my make up was perfection. I told Sarah that I’m not huge and heavy into make up. I like more of a natural look, and that is exactly what she did. She did exactly what I asked of her from giving me natural lashes to just looking golden And bronzey. I cannot suggest these group of ladies anymore. They did everything you ask of them and were amazing and every single way. If you want to feel amazing on your wedding day, HIRE MAUI MAKEUP ARTISTRY. TRULY THR BEST!!!!!

z and Misha were amazing!! Misha did a perfect job on my hair, it turned out better than I ever hoped. Liz is freaking amazing not just at makeup but she’s also just a great person. So easily to get along with. They both made me feel soo beautiful for my wedding day. 10/10 recommend

od glam curl style complemented my dress and lasted effortlessly throughout the day and night. Her attention to detail and ability to understand exactly what I envisioned made me feel like a true princess. Liz's makeup skills are unparalleled. She enhanced my features in such a stunning way, ensuring I felt confident and radiant. The makeup lasted flawlessly through tears of joy and long hours photoshoot, which speaks volumes about the quality of her products and technique. Both Anna and Liz were not only incredibly talented but also a joy to work with. They listened attentively to my ideas and preferences, offering their expert advice to create a look that was beyond what I had imagined. Their professionalism and calm demeanor were exactly what I needed on such a momentous day. I cannot recommend Maui Makeup Artistry enough, especially Anna and Liz. They are truly masters of their craft and made me feel absolutely beautiful on the most important day of my life. Thank you both for your exceptional work and for being a part of our special day

my wedding day. Amber, my hair stylist, completely nailed everything I asked for. From the perfect waves to the overall vibe, she captured it all beautifully. Not only did she create the exact look I envisioned, but she also made the experience so much fun with her vibrant and engaging personality. For my MOH she created a stunning, identical version of the inspiration photo I showed her, actually, i think it turned out even better than the photo! Plus, she was punctual, which is crucial on such an important day. Amber's calming energy and easy-going nature made the whole process a breeze. She truly just gets you and gets what you want for your hair, which is so important on your wedding day. Then there's Liz, the makeup artist, who is just as stunning as the work she does. I was so excited to be her canvas for the morning, and she exceeded every expectation. The result was better than I ever imagined, perfectly aligning with what I wanted for my special day. Liz was an absolute joy to talk to while she worked. We laughed, related to each other, and she even let me vent a bit. Her choice of fabulous products made me feel incredibly special. I had a small issue with my face after she was done, and she jumped right back in to fix it without hesitation. I only mention that because it's important that you know you can communicate with Liz and she hears you! It felt like chatting with a friend while she worked. Her zen, confident energy was a lovely and welcomed presence on my wedding day. Liz and Amber were not just vendors; they were integral to the joy and perfection of the day. I can't recommend them highly enough!

tly what we requested/discussed, and more! From the very beginning of the planning journey Liz felt like a part of my family and made everything so easy and stress-free for us. Not only did Liz and her team make us all look beautiful, but they made us FEEL beautiful, as well. And major shoutout to Amber for giving me the perfect bridal glam waves that stayed perfect all day, even in the Maui wind!

d makeup service they provided was beyond anything I could have expected. I am still completely obsessed with my bridal hair and makeup!! They took a vision and brought it to life! They were also super fun and made me feel like we just had extra friends hanging out before the big day. I would absolutely hire them again in a second and as a Maui bride, am looking forward to the day where I can work with them again! Mahalo, Liz, Val, Amber, Kenzie & team! <3

vice. Liz and her team are genuinely GOOD PEOPLE and the MOST talented in the game. Dana (Beauty Coordinator, Spray Tan): Dana was our prime point of contact for booking and scheduling. She was prompt with her responses and super friendly. She arrived at our resort the day before for a spray tan. She was early, organized and efficient. More importantly, she was so fun and friendly. I’ve had some pretty “meh” spray tans in life, but Dana did an excellent job. No streaks and the color was perfect!! Amber (Hair Stylist): I had sent hair and makeup “inspo” prior to my big day, so Amber knew ahead of time what I had been looking for. I had had a horrible hair cut at my home salon prior to my arrival in Maui and was terrified my hair wouldn’t turn out the way I had wanted. Amber was super sweet and calmed my nerves. She was FABULOUS. Did EXACTLY what I wanted without any issue! I could have cried I was so happy! Liz (Makeup Artist): Liz did a PHENOMENAL job. She is an artist, hands down. When the appt started we were total strangers and when she left we were friends. She is the utmost professional and an awesome businesswoman. She is just the best!

destination wedding, there can be some anxiety working with people hundreds of miles away but I always felt I was in good hands. Liz also has experience in doing glam in LA so I feel like she understood the more modern “clean girl aesthetic” techniques that are sweeping Hollywood right now. I felt it was the much newer “more is less” than the often heavier bridal looks I’ve seen, which was perfect for me. I wanted my look to be classic yet natural so I could look and feel like myself, not some mega glam version I wouldn’t recognize when I look back on these photos in years. Even having met Liz only twice before the big day, she knew exactly what I meant and delivered just that. She listens to your needs and has a great instinct with creating an overall look. She also gave me a second lip color for my after party dress change! Another bonus, Liz was simply easy to talk to and a pleasure to spend time with which is exactly the person you want on a potentially chaotic, stressful event. Anna, who did my hair was also phenomenal and such a pleasure to work with. She did an incredible job with an updo that was perfection. I’ll never be over my wedding look. Every single one of my bridesmaids, mom and sisters were so happy with their looks. Everyone looked gorgeous! My bridesmaids and I had such a seamless and positive, stress-free experience the day of the wedding. Maui Makeup made everyone feel so beautiful. I could not recommend Liz and her team more!

makeup artist. Amber and Val were equally sweet and so fun to chat with. They both made me feel so comfortable. My hair and makeup were on point for the wedding I was attending. Will definitely use them again if I am ever in Maui.

feel so comfortable and special. They absolutely nailed all of our hair and makeup! It’s one thing to do an amazing job on our hair and makeup, but the way they made us feel so special and glam just took our experience to a whole other level.

e very trusting when it came to booking everything we needed to prepare for our big day. Maui Makeup Artistry BY FAR was the most responsive, professional, & eager to work with me. I really appreciated this team because they truly did contribute so much to the most important day of life. I had multiple conversations with the owner, Liz, about how exactly I wanted my hair & makeup to look on my wedding day. Liz is so incredibly sweet & really cared to make sure I felt like I was being taken care of. I was lucky enough to work with both Anna & Camille. They did such an incredible job & made me feel so beautiful! I love how comfortable it felt working with them. It honestly felt like they were just my friends helping me get ready! Funny story- while they were working on our glam, my floral arrangements got delivered & they were not what I expected them to look like, so I was a bit disappointed. Anna & Camille saved the day by literally picking apart my wedding bouquet to make it look exactly how I wanted!! I guess they can add "florist" to their resume haha! Anna & Camille were incredibly sweet & kind. I will always remember the two of them & forever be grateful! THANK YOU SO MUCH LIZ, ANNA, CAMILLE & THE REST OF THE MAUI MAKEUP ARTISTRY TEAM! You guys are awesome!!! I couldn't recommend them enough!

g to do a Hawaii wedding!!

r it. Right from the start, Dana was so communicative and always ready to answer any questions. She asked me to submit inspirational photos of hair and makeup looks I liked. Amberlee, my makeup artist, made my vision come to life! When she arrived at my hotel (early, by the way) she opened the photos that I had sent them so we could discuss what I wanted and be on the same page. I put all my faith in her, and when she was finished, I opened my eyes and was blown away! She killed it, but not only with my makeup, but with my hair as well! She was so much fun to be around as well and we had a great chat. I would highly, highly recommend Maui Makeup Artistry.

to book me with Amberlee - who was INCREDIBLE. I rarely wear makeup, so really stressed a natural look. I've never had professional makeup and hair done so well that stayed so true to myself. I looked amazing but not like a different person, my husband also kept complimenting the look! Thank you so much Amberlee and Liz for your accommodation, impeccable customer service, and outstanding work! I will definitely be a repeat customer when I'm back in Hawaii!

needs and had the same variation of makeup that complemented them best (we also did a trial for my rehearsal dinner!). Herself and the team are such great energy and really listened to the vision I had while I couldn't exactly voice it, we had the best time getting ready and everyone looked like movie stars. My mother and bonus mom were so happy with their looks - and the makeup did not feel cakey but stayed put throughout the sun baked ceremony and all night as we danced. Everyone looked like themselves, but the version that they wanted to see without looking off brand from each other - nothing heavy or fake at all and they only used products that made my very senstive skin feel great. To add to the teams credit -the wedding was also published in British Vogue!!

ram. From the moment of inquiry up until the big day, the team was responsive and friendly and made the process entirely stress-free. Sarah and Amber did an amazing job on the bridal party hair and makeup. They listened to what each person wanted, took their time and nailed all of our looks on the first try. I felt so beautiful, natural and comfortable on my wedding day. I can’t thank this team enough! Highly recommend Maui Makeup Artistry!

rom the east coast. The ladies showed up to our resort and kicked off our wedding day celebrations in no time. They were efficient and all hair and makeup gals in my group were in awe of how beautiful their hair and makeup turned out. My bridal experience was flawless. My hair and makeup didn’t stand a chance against the wind and rain of Maui and it made me feel like a stunning bride. I can’t thank you all enough for all you did to make our wedding day so special!

capture the exact look I was going for (classic soft glam). I signed up for the opulent zen bridal package which was so so relaxing and calming! My makeup looked amazing all night thank you so much; Highly recommend!

ecial, and still totally myself on my wedding day than I could have imagined. I didn't have a single edit or comment for her - after a quick conversation about how I wanted to feel (glowy, a warm/soft glam, naturally elevated) and looking at a few inspiration photos, she executed above and beyond my vision! Dani completed my dream bridal look with the perfect clean, romantic, knotted low bun of my dreams. My bridesmaids, mother, and MIL all looked stunning and loved their hair and makeup as well. The whole MMA team is 10/10 so talented, and so kind! Also the makeup lasted ALL night, I was too busy having fun to do a single touch up but it still somehow looked flawless.

Their talent is unreal and truly unbelievable. Giving limited direction, this team put together incredible looks for all of my bridal party. We all said “whatever you think is best, go for it!” And they went above and beyond to make us all feel like princesses! We all said we wanted all of them to come back the next day to make us feel beautiful again!

rtistry. Liz and her team were fun to work with and felt like a girls-day-in. Haha!! Liz knew what I wanted and what colors worked best for my skin and worked with a healing and peeling sun burn from the week prior. I love highlighting my eyes and she did just that and more! I received multiple compliments on the airbrushed finish which was definitely the "icing" to my dress My theme was vintage Hawaii and I was trying to grow out my hair to achieve more style. We went with a Hollywood look complete with a white feather hibiscus flower. Perfect. My bridesmaids and mom also had their hair and make up done and I had them choose their own style but also have a feather hibiscus flower but in yellow. Beautiful. Thank you thank you for your time, service and professionalism. It was fun getting to know everyone while we glammed up. Um can we do it again?!

ntly communicating with me working out budget, looks, and even rescheduling her trip to Lanai due to covid restrictions postponing our wedding . She was honestly the most comforting presence on such a wild day. Without friends, family and bridesmaids I was feeling overwhelmed and her attitude was so supportive and kind. We did a trial at my hotel the night before, set up in our room for the next day and kept me on track the entire morning. All that said my make up and hair were just perfection. She understands contour like no one else and brought out my natural beauty while adding a touch of glam and sophistication.

satile you can find and really know how to do a wide variety of looks. I wanted some vintage/old Hollywood glam with some modern thrown in (I need shimmer), and I got exactly what I wanted! I think what helped me the most was coming up with pictures for examples to explain what I wanted, and it all came together! Liz and Amber did an amazing job!

my wedding day. They were so sweet and conversation during hair and makeup was enjoyable. I was so impressed with the outcome, I knew I had to use them for my wedding weekend! They did my hair and makeup for my welcome reception as well as the big day. I was seriously blown away every time they got me ready! They offer touch up service for those uncontrollable tears on your day, which I felt like is a must! Maui is mine and my husband’s happy place, so we visit quite often. We have done our maternity shoot as well as intimate vow renewal on our one year anniversary. I hired Liz and her team to help me feel beautiful and confident on both of those occasions as well! The entire team is professional and they do such an amazing job! I also really enjoyed how friendly they all are.

exact look I was going for! My makeup and hair looked great all night long. Highly recommend getting the airbrush to help withstand the Hawaii humidity. I can't wait for another reason to have my hair and makeup done next time we visit! Xoxo

didn't recognize me at first and thought I was a princess. As a 45 year old first time bride I was anxious about how my hair and makeup would turn out but there was no reason to be anything but thrilled. It was astonishing how great the entire bridal party looked from the work of the team. Mother of the groom loved her hair and makeup and felt special on her son's special day. Absolutely can't recommend Melissa and the rest of the Maui Makeup Artistry team more - what a treasure in Maui for special occasions. I just wish they were stateside to use more often.

ence I envisioned for everyone's hair. Lindsey was just incredible as a person and a makeup artist. She kept the conversation going, had such a friendly and calming presence and made everyone feel beautiful. Especially my mom who was so nervous to get her makeup done. I can't thank both of these women enough for everything they did for us!

eup companies throughout Maui, but it was Maui Makeup Artistry that ultimately won our trust and executed our vision to infinity and beyond. We looked fabulous and felt it too! All thanks to Shelby and Sarah who did their best work! If you’re planning a trip to Maui book them, even if you just want to look fabulous laying by the pool - they’re worth their weight in gold :)

d make-up. On the day of the ceremony I decided to just trust them and I was not disappointed! These ladies are amazing! My Makeup was flawless and my hair was absolutely beautiful! I got married at Haleakala and even with the wind and rain my hair and makeup remained perfect! I 100% recommend Maui Artistry! Thank you so much for everything! These ladies made me look and feel beautiful! So blessed to have worked with them

when it came to makeup because any time I've ever gotten my makeup done professionally, it has never turned out the way I wanted it. Liz made sure to walk through all of the options with me during the makeup trial and helped me with any uneasy feelings I had. We collaborated on what the best look would be to match the vibe of the wedding as well as what would make me feel like my most confident self. Anna was so accommodating as I ended up completely changing my hairstyle preference from our hair trial. She was able to improvise and gave me the perfect curls that softened over the course of the day which was exactly what I wanted. Needless to say, I was over the moon about how my hair and makeup turned out. Liz was even caring enough to calm my nerves as she was the first face I saw that day. I would highly recommend their services for your wedding day, thank you so much ladies! Congratulations on all of your successes and your ever expanding team.

at all, I was extremely worried about not feeling or looking like myself on my own wedding day. Fortunately, sarah and Amalie heard all of my concerns and completely outdid themselves. I have never felt more beautiful and more myself!! Sarah, Amalie, Liz, Melissa, Shelby, and Kim...Thank you for working your magic and executing the perfect combination of natural and glam for my bridesmaids and me! You are the best!

ave her hair done in an Imelda Marcos-like updo. We’re Filipino and the vision was to have Asian beauty looks; mine was more doll-like with pick blush and eye makeup that opened up my eyes, mom’s was soft makeup with Imelda’s signature updo. Liz and Kim executed our makeup looks and were so sweet and professional. Shelby gave me the most beautiful, romantic waves and was able to fulfill my mother’s dream of having the Imelda Marcos updo to perfectly match her Mestiza gown. Thank you Liz, Kim and Shelby! You are the best and we felt so beautiful because of you!

my engagement photos. Everything turned out great and I was so excited to use them for our wedding. The day of our wedding, all 7 of us were taken care of quickly and everyone loved the outcome. Everyone had different skin and hair types, but the ladies were well equipped and made all of us look our best. Shelby is KILLER with the HAIR as well. Follow them on Instagram and you will see what I mean. Highly recommend!!

d wonderful to work with. I was lucky to be in Maui a few months prior so scheduled a trial. Anna and Sarah showed up at my hotel with so much fun and friendly energy. Not only are they extremely talented artists but they are so friendly, fun and calming. I ended up booking them for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. I loved the fun style and makeup for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding hair and makeup was GORGEOUS! It stayed on all night which is impressive a climate like Hawaii. They also did the moms, maid of honor and flower girl. Everyone was so happy with their styles. I'm just starting to get some picture back and in love with their work. Everyone looks beautiful and flawless. I'm so happy with the results and highly recommend Maui Makeup Artistry. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

room, had everything they needed, propped me up in a chair and did their work. It was such a pampering experience. They turned my pinterest images into a Bride more stunning than I realized I could be. Brought tears to my eyes and definitely my husbands during our first look. He just kept saying "WOW, WOW!" he was speechless. I truly recommend these girls for any Bride wanting to feel like YOU but the most fabulous version of YOU.

nable, easy to work with and professional Liz was. Not only is Liz such a sweet person she is amazing at what she does! Our makeup flowed together so wonderfully and I have not received so many compliments on makeup before after having it done professionally. I have been in a lot of weddings and had it done professionally before, but everyone took notice and really complimented how beautiful and natural it was. I would recommend her and her team to anyone searching for a makeup artist who will put you at easy and make you feel beautiful! Thank you Liz for sharing your talents and making my wedding that much more special!

makeup for the day of the wedding. She keeps everything natural looking, which I loved, as I wanted to still look like me on my wedding day. Only one of my bridesmaids got their hair done (for bridesmaids she charges $125 for hair and $125 for makeup). My mom got her makeup done by Liz and my mother in law got her makeup and hair done. Everyone looked beautiful and we all felt beautiful and were all very happy with Liz's work!

ust didn't like any of them. I ended up Googling MUA in Maui and went through them one by one. I came across Maui Makeup Artistry and was finally surprised. I liked what I saw and so I proceeded to stalk them via Instagram. Again, I liked what I saw so I found a few wedding videos and that's what made my decision. You can't photoshop a video. To me, it was a huge difference from them to other ones. I emailed them and Liz gave me a call to chat. We immediately hit it off and I felt that she knew what I wanted. The day of my wedding she came and she made me look so beautiful. I remember looking at myself in the mirror and thinking, 'wow, she looks gorgeous. like a magazine' and then I felt so silly because it was me. I can honestly say that I've never felt so beautiful in my life. She really created my bridal look beautifully and I absolutely loved my hair. I used her two days later for a photoshoot. She created this fierce sexy look that I wanted and she nailed. I most definitely recommend her and her team to anyone that need a MUA for their wedding, photoshoot or whatever. They are amazing and make you look flawless!!!
