I first discovered Maura Jane Photography while searching for wedding venues. I stumbled upon her blog “Top New Mexico Wedding Venues” and not only did I find my venue but also my photographer. I was in awe of how beautifully she captured the love between her couples in the most beautiful locations. Her photos are light, airy and pure magic. After deep diving into her website and instagram, I was obsessed, and didn’t book a venue till I knew she was available. Once we secured MJP we spoke on the phone with Maura and it felt like I was talking to an old friend. She was always available to answer any questions and provided guidance during the wedding planning process. She provided the cutest welcome box with gifts and a handbook filled with tons of tips and information for wedding day. I absolutely loved working with Maura. She’s professional, beyond talented and she truly loves what she does. We loved how excited she would get if the wind picked up or if the weather slightly changed because it meant better photos. She puts a lot of heart and love into her work and it shows in her pictures (let’s be real, it’s a work of art!) I love that she was just as excited as we were for our all of our photos from engagement to wedding sneak peaks. I absolutely love working with Maura and her team, booking MJP was the easiest and best decision we made while wedding planning. We now have gorgeous photos that we will cherish for a lifetime and a family photographer for all our future family portraits.

Maura Jane Photography is the absolute best!!! She was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding in Santa Fe and it was, hands down, one of the easiest decisions I made. Not only is she a professional and an expert at what she does, she is SO kind and thoughtful throughout the whole process with email and text check-ins, advice and even sneak peeks the very next day after my wedding. Sarah was the main photographer for the engagement shoot & wedding weekend and my husband and I truly loved working with her. Maura’s work speaks for itself, but if you need more convincing, just know that in addition to being an incredible photographer, she’s a wonderful person! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable during both our wedding day and our engagement session. She was also such a huge help on the wedding day. She even pinned my veil! It was incredibly windy on the day of our wedding, and she was so calm and flexible the whole time, which helped my husband and I feel calmer, too. Ever since I saw Maura’s work and how she and her team treat their couples when I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding, I knew that I wanted Maura Jane Photography for my own wedding one day! I stalked her Instagram page for years lol and fell in love her her romantic, airy style of photography. I would have even changed my date if she wasn’t available! When I told any of my vendors who my photographer was, they had nothing but great things to say about her team, which I think says a lot that her peers also recommend her! The whole process, from booking all the way through receiving my photos has been wonderful. Planning a wedding was a stressful process and I had a lot of issues with communication with other vendors, but communication with Maura’s team was always easy and prompt. She even communicated with one of my bridesmaids instead of me in the days before the wedding to save me some stress, and I so appreciated that! Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness helped keep my stress low and I wish all vendors could be like that! On the wedding day, Maura and her team helped keep everything on time and organized. It was so cool to watch her process and she how she gets those beautiful detail shots! My husband and I can be awkward, but Maura gave great direction and we had a lot of fun taking our photos; I have a lot of great laughing shots to prove it! We were worried we would look awkward in the photos but I’m so happy with how they turned out! We got our sneak peeks and even our actual photos so quickly and now my hardest decision is which ones to print! Maura’s photography speaks for itself with how beautiful it is, but how kind, professional, and helpful she and her team are behind the camera is why I will recommend MJP to every engaged couple!

I booked Maura for my wedding at Ghost Ranch this May. I looked at her reviews beforehand, and i now can confirm there is a reason she has so many wonderful ones. Maura exceeded every expectation i had and went above and beyond for us. Besides her obvious talent and beautiful photography, she is incredibly fun, helpful, and easy to work with. I am so happy I chose Maura Jane Photography for my wedding. Maura was referred to me by my venue and wedding planner. As soon as I saw the website and looked at photos of previous weddings, I knew I wanted to have MJP for my big day. I fell in love with the style of the photos-- very romantic, vibrant, and elegant. After finalizing our contract, we received a book in the mail from MJP going over what to expect on the day-- so thoughtful! My husband and I live out of state and MJP worked with us when our original plan for our engagement photos had to be postponed due to weather. Maura’s online portfolio speaks for itself – the photos are breathtaking and exceptional. It was an easy decision to inquire about availability for our wedding. When we had our introductory call, Maura asked thoughtful questions about us and priorities for our photos/event. We hoped for sunset photos with snowy mountains in the background. Her next question was timeline, which brought out her gentle spirit and command of all things related to photography. The original timeline didn’t work for the winter sunset. She immediately checked online for sunset times and presented a few alternate timelines with tradeoffs for each of them. Maura clearly understood our hopes and how to make that happen for us. There was no question, Maura was right for us. Our engagement photos were stunning. Knowing our love of the outdoors and hiking, Maura suggested a beautiful spot in a state park for sunset photos. We were nervous about the session because we typically hide from cameras, but we had a great time. Maura made us feel so comfortable. We spent nearly all of the session laughing and smiling. It felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. As a result, the photos really captured our personalities. We received so many text and social media messages about how spectacular the photos in the sneak peek were. One friend called to say Maura captured the “love and light” as well as the “joy” in our relationship. It set an incredibly high bar for measuring our wedding photos, which they exceeded. Our wedding photos are magical. They are wondrous and exceptional. Our friends and family have only seen Maura’s social media posts, but we’ve already received messages saying: “absolutely incredible”, “absolutely FABULOUS”, and “amongst the best wedding photos I have EVER seen”. They haven’t even seen some of the best. Maura went above and beyond to make this happen. She arrived early with her team the day of the wedding because the radar suggested rain and snow could interfere with the plan. Maura and the team kept an eye on the weather while calmly and positively suggesting we move up the schedule, if possible. They were on it. There were also unknowns with family photos because of some health issues. Maura was so supportive and sensitive to these issues on our wedding day. She was attuned to the needs of all who were being photographed, and visually checked-in with me to see if I agreed with her assessment on wrapping it up or taking more photos. Hannah and Alissia were equally thoughtful. Maura knew the wedding venue well, and already knew the spots where we could make sure to get photos that included the surrounding mountains and later the wonderful sunset. Again, she had asked us the right questions in advance about what we hoped for and made a plan based on our conversation. There are so many things that set Maura apart as a photographer and human. For me, a photo of me and my mom in our sneak peek portrays how exceptional Maura is as a person. She knew this would be special for me, and a gift to receive early. This was a truly personal and thoughtful gesture. We received photos that exceeded our hopes and dreams. Our experience working with Maura Jane Photography was full of joy and happiness. I have been following Maura Jane Photography on social media for over 2 years before our recent wedding in May 2022. Their work is so romantic and beautiful, I knew we did not want to compromise when it came to our wedding photos! So, I was ecstatic when my wedding planner said that they were available for our wedding date! To say that they are the absolute best wedding photographer team in the Southwest is an understatement! Not only is their work artistic, creative and captivating, but Maura is so thoughtful and professional. As soon as we booked with them, Maura reached out to us by email and phone to get to know us personally. She then sent us the sweetest care package that included a detailed “wedding handbook” to help guide us through the entire process from our engagement photos to our actual wedding day! For our engagement session in March, our photographer Sarah recommended a location at White Mesa. Even though it was a very cold day (with a little bit of snow on the ground), Sarah made us so comfortable, she had us laughing through our shivers; producing the most stunning photos! When it came to our wedding day, Sarah and Hannah were so patient, kind, and understanding with our big family. We are so in love with every photo from our wedding day. Everything we were hoping was captured, absolutely was, and more! Maura and her team are amazing! We tried them out for our engagement pictures and fell in love with her team, so much so, we then hired them for the wedding in Tennessee! I have never felt comfortable taking pictures, but they made it so easy. They captured our wedding in such a fun way! Loved seeing all of the candid pictures and all the personalities of our guests. Also, we got our pictures back so fast!! We even got a sneak peak of over 100 pictures that weekend! My friends couldn't believe that we already had pictures back. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Maura went above and beyond for our wedding. She was flexible and very helpful when we decided to cancel our large wedding and have a private ceremony. Hannah and Rachael were absolutely amazing! we met with Hannah for our engagement session and she was so easy to work with. She made it easy and so fun to be photographed. Maura and Hannah were so fantastic from the moment we first reached out to the third (!) time we had to reschedule. They were more than accomodating throughout all of the craziness of 2020, and it was great having Maura as a resource to narrow down on scheduling and items we didn’t even really think of. We had an elopement wedding in October, 2020 with very short notice and Maura Jane Photography made the day perfect! My husband and I got married in 2020 and had ourselves a proper masked and social distanced, COVID wedding. I am a nurse so I was incredibly worried/focused on health and safety of our guests at our wedding. We required masks of all our guests, and even our bridal party (after the ceremony). Some people thought it was odd that we didn’t just postpone our wedding, but Steven and I had been waiting nine years for our special wedding, and we weren’t going to postpone. Maura and her team were incredibly helpful when we had to change our wedding venue due to the pandemic and had to “create” from scratch our venue on a blank canvas of family property in the mountains. Maura and Hannah captured the natural beauty of the property and found a separate location to take bridal party photos before the ceremony so that we would have a vast array of photos with different scenery. They were both so positive and jovial the day of the wedding, I could not have asked for better people or photos. Our wedding photos have slowly taken over the decor in our new home and I could not be happier about it!! I would recommend Maura’s photography 100 times over! Don’t wait, go book her and her team!

MJP is by far worth every penny! Maura goes above and beyond from the day she signs on as your photographer. Not only is she incredibly responsive and timely, but she checked in multiple times along the way, always offering assistance wherever she could. She was so incredibly understanding as we navigated wedding planning during a pandemic and worked with us to modify our original plans and package to best fit what our wedding was becoming. Maura Jane Photography caught my eye with their soft and romantic feel. From the beginning of planning, Maura was very responsive and continued to be throughout the planning process. In a year with so much uncertainty, we changed our wedding date twice and went from a 100person venue to a small backyard wedding. Maura allowed us to downgrade our package and our photographer, Sarah, made all the changes work. Our photos are beautiful and captured the spirit of our wedding. One of the things I love is the access to an online photo gallery where you can go to download all of your photos. This is extremely convenient. The professionalism of this group was outstanding. Will hire them for any future photography needs.

I hired Maura for our engagement session and wedding which we ended up having to cancel. Instead we eloped and I hired her for that too because she is absolutely amazing and truly the best photographer out there! Amidst all of the stress with re-planning everything, she was there to help me think of alternatives. A Forever Memory of a Perfect Day Maura, Sarah and Hannah were an absolute dream to work with on the day of our wedding and the second day wedding shoot. Nathan, my husband, and I got engaged a little over 2 years ago, and Maura was the first vendor we contacted. We have always loved her beautifully bright wedding photography style and we wanted to make sure we booked her and her team for our wedding. Even though there were several changes to our wedding, Maura always kept a positive attitude during a rather stressful time. We decided on a mini-moon at Los Poblanos. Since we were staying at Los Poblanos we were given the option to take photos on their gorgeous property, and when we presented Maura with the idea of a second day wedding shoot and she was immediately game. Everything about our wedding day and second day shoot was PERFECT. All of these perfect details and moments were artfully captured by Maura, Sarah and Hannah. All three of them have an eye for unique and special moments, that Nathan and I will cherish for a lifetime. They spent time setting up the first look, got beautiful pictures with our grandparents and family, caught all the little moments during our ceremony, and took fun and beautiful pictures of our wedding party and us. Not only are they talented photographers, they are professional and willing to help make your wedding day as special as possible. Even if that means taking a quick detour on the way to the reception, to get a really cool picture in front of our future home. Maura and her team took time to get to know us so it truly felt like we were working with our friends. The wedding day was amazing, but let me tell you the second shoot was so incredible, fun, and relaxed. I am so happy we were able to do this because I got to wear the most beautiful gown I have ever owned, my handsome husband did a sweet outfit change, and we got to truly enjoy each other's company, as husband and wife, in a romantic setting while GORGEOUS photos were being taken of us. Everyone should have a second day wedding photoshoot because there is no stress of getting back to family and friends, and you get some really amazing photos. To sum it is up, Maura and her team are artfully talented, professional and kind. I would recommend them to any couple getting married because their pictures are beautiful and most importantly they have an eye for capturing every special moment no matter how big or small.

Maura is an amazing photographer as well as an amazing person! We first had planned a bigger wedding in Albuquerque but when Covid hit all of our plans changed. Maura was with us each step of the way and helped us out with anything we needed. She even sent over a list of venues that were out of state for us to look at since that was our next option. We LOVE everyone at Maura Jane Photography! We originally had a bigger wedding planned, but COVID-19 forced us to change some things. We ended up having a very small intimate wedding with just immediate family. Hannah from the MJ team captured our beautiful day with absolute perfection! Everything from the details shots to the couples portraits were just stunning!

I had less then two weeks to find a photographer and a friend told me about Maura Jane Photography. Talked to her on the phone and she was so reassuring that all the stress about my photos for my wedding went away. She was extremely professional and from the getting ready photos to the first look photos with my husband I felt like i was in good hands and didn’t need to worry. When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we knew that choosing the right photographer would be hugely important to us. After the day is over, all you have are your memories and your photos to remember it. We knew that we wanted a photographer who would capture the whole day beautifully, from start to finish. To get those kinds of photos, you need a photographer who cares about her clients, knows everything about weddings, and works hard to give the client everything they hope for. Our experience was nothing short of amazing! From our initial consultation, to our engagement shoot, and our big day, Maura and Sarah were incredibly organized and provided such a warm and supportive experience. Having Maura as our wedding photographer was the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding day. We knew we loved Maura's classic, elegant, and technically stunning photography, but her it was really her personality that sold us. From day one Maura did not treat us only as her clients, but more like friends. She was genuinely interested in our love story, and worked hard to make sure our personalities came through in her photography. Maura even shot multiple engagement sessions for us in different seasons, to ensure everything was exactly what we wanted. We also let Maura choose the locations for our engagement sessions and our first look/couples shoot. I highly recommend letting her take the reigns, our photos were absolutely AMAZING. On the wedding day, she made us feel so comfortable and was so efficient, we were even able to take some "bonus" sunset photos with our bridal party. She worked so hard to make sure our day was captured perfectly, and even sent us sneak peak photos the day after our wedding, which was a special surprise! We received the full album only one week after the wedding day and the joy that these photos brought us is a close rival for the joy we felt on the day itself. Maura and her second shooter, Hannah, went above and beyond! After our wedding, we've been saying that we wish we could relive the day over and over again and these photos truly allow us to do that. We feel so lucky that we had photographers who were so flexible, fun, and just so incredibly talented. I feel so lucky to have found Maura Jane Photography. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure working with these ladies. The complimentary engagement session was such a treat that helped us become comfortable in front of the camera before our wedding day, while allowing us time to get to know Maura better. Not to mention the amazing photos we got out of it!! I ended up using our engagement photos for our guest book at the wedding. Maura also helped me talk through our wedding day timeline so I knew exactly what to expect ahead of time. On our actual wedding day, she and my wedding coordinator worked together seamlessly to make sure my wedding party and I were always where we needed to be. Maura and her team were amazing! They were the first vendor we hired, after meeting with her we knew we had to have her shoot our wedding! She captured the exact feeling I wanted when looking back at the photos. They are light, bright and candid. She even worked with us and shot prewedding photos several months before our wedding so we could incorporate the mountains and not have to do that the day of. The ladies of Maura Jane Photography are unmatched. They are professional, personable, and extremely good at what they do. We met Sarah for our engagement pictures, and it felt like we had known her forever. She made us feel comfortable while we felt extremely uncomfortable (our first attempt at posed, professional pictures) and made us look good doing it too. She creates a fun, easy going atmosphere all while taking beautiful and creative photos. Sarah and Veronica photographed our wedding and two weeks later, I still can’t stop scrolling through them daily. The girls worked tirelessly, and they documented our day from every angle from start to finish. They captured the joy, the love, and laughs of not just me and my husband but of all our guests. One of my biggest fears as a bride was “Will I be able to spend enough time with all of the guests?! Are they going to have fun?!” Although the answer to the first question will always be no, Sarah and Veronica reassured me through their photos that the answer to the second question was a big, resounding yes! Not only do the ladies take incredible photos, Sarah kept our day moving and kept us on our timeline. I can lose track of time pretty easily and I always think things won’t take as long as they actually will, but Sarah very professionally kept me on track for literally almost every event. She ensured my hair and make up was done with enough time before our first look, she made sure we took a plethora of pictures and were still on time to the ceremony, we had a long list of family photos post ceremony and she wrangled us all up and got them done extremely efficiently. She made sure we didn’t miss the sunset, she didn’t let me forget about the cake, and so much more. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Sarah and Veronica. I often forget I’ve only communicated with Maura, the owner, through calls, email, and text – she is just that wonderful. Maura is quick to respond to any questions leading up to your event and the turnaround time of the gallery was impressively fast. Maura was photographing another couple’s wedding the same day as ours and she still sent us our gallery (literally thousands of photos) in one week. Maura is not only talented but extremely kindhearted and genuinely cares about her clients even if she is not the one directly photographing them. One of our biggest priorities for our wedding was photography. We wanted images that would capture every sweet moment, the love, and joyfulness our wedding day. Maura captured our engagement and wedding photographs perfectly. She was extremely efficient with her time, enabling us to get all of our desired shots before inclement weather rolled in. Maura is well organized and very composed, which relieves a great deal of stress on wedding day. Maura insisted on a couple scenarios that I could not be happier about. The “first look” was an idea my wife and I had not really considered and I am so glad we did it. It was a great way to release nerves and get most of our wedding party photographs knocked out before the ceremony. Because of that, we were able to attend most of our cocktail hour. Our ceremony was of course brilliantly rendered and we are very pleased to have the photographs that document our ceremony for years to come. As we finished dinner, Maura asked if we’d like to get some sunset shots in the lavender field at our venue. We reluctantly agreed and I am so glad we did. My wife and I were able to momentarily escape the bustling reception and be alone together. The setting was beautiful and because of Maura, we have some of the most strikingly beautiful images captured on our special day. Maura is honest and conscientious and is one of the most talented photographers I’ve ever worked with. I could not recommend her businesses enough.

Asking Maura Jane Photography was one of the best decisions we made of our wedding. She and her team made our wedding run flawlessly. She has a magical way of capturing all the feels in the room!! Maura was calm, efficient, and full of energy all day long. She managed the wild weather and made us feel at ease through stressful moments. She surprised us with a really fast turnaround with stunning pictures while we were on our honeymoon. We were completely blown away. I highly recommend Maura Jane Photography!!

Amazing team!! We just received our full wedding photo set and they are everything we hoped for AND MORE! The pictures are organized in different folders such as “getting ready,” “ceremony” etc. This made it very easy to find specific pictures. The day of Sarah and Hannah arrived early and scouted locations for pictures which made the process very easy. They are very friendly and professional; extremely easy and fun to work with! Sarah has an amazing eye for what the finished product will look like and we could not be any happier with our pictures. We can’t wait to get them printed and start putting them up in our house! In addition to the amazing pictures, Maura and her team helped us with so many aspects of our wedding. We live about 6 hours from Albuquerque and got married in Ruidoso NM, so we were not able to meet face to face. But that did not bother us, we had seen many pictures and weddings they had shot before so we knew the quality would be amazing. Maura and Sarah were very easy to contact via text, phone call or email, and were always able to help with any questions or concerns. We had 2 or 3 scheduled calls where they not only helped plan the photography of the wedding but they helped plan our timeline for the day-of and suggested other reliable vendors that they’d worked with before. That was a huge help for us because we did not have a wedding planner/coordinator. I can not imagine anyone else photographing our big day! Maura and her team make it their mission to go above and beyond for their clients!

Where to even begin?! Wedding planning can be so overwhelming, but choosing Maura Jane Photography will be the best decision you make. I chose Maura for her beautiful photographs, but she went absolutely above and beyond my wildest expectations. Maura knows how to capture the lighting in the most incredible ways. She was also able to make both my husband and myself feel at ease to the point that most of the time we forgot we were even being photographed. It all just felt so natural! Maura and her team will also find ways to give the bride small surprises along the way which is so meaningful during this process. Finally, Maura knows how to effortlessly capture the beauty of New Mexico. Although from Texas, we chose to get married at our ranch in New Mexico. I wanted someone that valued the beauty of New Mexico and could capture the enchantment. I can't say enough about how amazing Maura Jane Photography is!

We don't know where to begin other than a 5 star rating is simply not enough for Maura Jane Photography. Maura did such an amazing job from our engagement session all the way to our wedding day! Booking a photographer is very difficult in my opinion for those that haven't had much time behind the camera let alone with their significant other. Josh and I had never taken professional pictures together for starters and we are both super picky of how we look and sometimes can be over the top. But, Maura made us feel like we had done this before, we were so relaxed and you could truly see the happiness come out especially on our wedding day. She was so helpful with everything, how to look, what to do in certain poses and just how to be our selves. She is such a sweet down to earth person, I felt like I was hanging out with one of my close friends with all that she and I have in common including her assistant Hannah come wedding day. Fun fact: Hannah and I went to the same high school together. When we went to meet Maura back in August of 2018, Hannah was there I remembered thinking man she looks like a girl I went to school with but then I just thought well how small of a world could it really be that our school was in Florida and now were both in New Mexico. It wasn’t until my wedding day when it all clicked while Hannah and I were having flashbacks of those days and our mutual friends. It was a small world and even so neat to share my day with Hannah too with the history we had. The whole MJ team rules! Maura and Hannah were very professional, kind, and attentive to every possible detail. They made our wedding day as magical as possible. It was truly amazing. I was afraid our photos would not be that great after non- stop thunderstorms the day of but Maura made sure rain or shine our day the photos would still be beautiful. The lighting, background, and overall pictures were so natural and surreal we will cherish them forever. We definitely made the best decision by choosing Maura Jane Photography!! PS: Hannah wins assistant of the year. At one point I was not sure she was able to see or move with all that was in her arms like two of my three pairs of shoes and million mile long veil, a backpack, my parents gift and probably much more.

Maura, her second shooter Veronica, assistant Hannah were all a part of photographing our wedding day, and booking with Maura Jane Photography was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding! Maura was the first vendor we booked followed closely by our videographer because, to my husband and I, photos and video were the most important place for us to put our money since these would be the forever lasting memories of our wedding, and boy did we invest wisely by booking with Maura. She helped us iron out our timeline, figure out how to get getting ready photos since the girls and guys were getting ready at separate locations and neither were at the venue (her and Veronica split up and made sure everything was captured!), pick our reception venue, fit sunset wedding day photos in, and so much more. And we got our full gallery back on our one week anniversary of being married-talk about a fun surprise! Hannah was so kind and held my bouquet so many times (seriously so many but thank you!!), helped me with my dress, veil, etc--the whole MJP staff went above and beyond to make sure all the hard work we put into our dream day was captured, and we love the final product. If you just take a look at Maura's work on her website, you'll feel compelled to book with her (just like me and my husband did-that's how we chose her). Her work speaks for itself, and it'll be one of the best decisions you made for your wedding! We are so grateful we booked with someone so talented and professional because now we have the everlasting, beautiful, authentic-looking photos that perfectly captured our day, just like we hoped for.

I don't have enough words to explain how amazing Maura and Sarah are! They both photographed our wedding and it was the best investment we made. Maura was always so quick to respond to emails and texts and always pitched out ideas for venues. 3 things we liked most about Maura: responsiveness, capability, and of course photo quality. *Responsiveness* Maura was the fastest to respond when we contacted several wedding photographers. She was always quick to answer a question and we knew what we should expect early on. *Capability* Everyone in the Albuquerque wedding scene knows Maura, because she's worked with most vendors. We had a dream team working our wedding, and many of them independently recommended Maura. She also became our de facto guide for other wedding vendors and things to know about Albuquerque. During the preparation and the ceremony, she blended into the background and got so many great shots. She always seemed to find the right location. But here's the thing we liked the most about Maura: for the posed photos, she gets your list ahead of time and knows how to direct people. She tells you who she needs for the next shot and tells you what to do. It's the sign of a good photographer. Tell people where to stand, what to do, take your shots, and get the next group in. You only have a limited time to get all the right shots, and Maura choreographs it like a boss. And she's just so nice while she does it. *Photo quality* We received a few finished shots the day after the wedding, and the full set of >900 edited and sorted photos one week after the wedding. Look at her sample photos. That's what you should expect. They're great. We couldn't have asked for better!

Maura has been such a help all the way from our first phone call prior to booking her 16 months ago through now as we are one month away from our wedding. She has been accommodating of all the special things or details we wanted whether with our engagement session or our upcoming wedding! Maura has been so fun and easy to work with and me and my fiancee have enjoyed every point of contact with her and her team. We loved our engagement photos and already have two of them hanging up. My husband and I recently had our destination wedding in Santa Fe, and as we were coming from out of state, we were unsure about who to chose for our vendors. I contacted Maura for a consultation and immediately felt a connection with her. She was easy to get along with, very professional, and always had answers to my questions. When we set up our engagement photo session, my husband and I were pretty nervous as we are uncomfortable being in front of the camera, and were unsure about how to pose/act. Maura put our nerves right to ease by providing plenty of guidance, telling stories and jokes, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable and it showed in the photos! When it came to the wedding day, Maura kept us on track with our timeline and was easily able to wrangle all of our family and friends for photos. I originally did not want to do a first look, but due to timing, we needed to do one. Maura helped make that first look so magical and intimate and captured some of our favorite pictures of the day in that moment.
