Marcia and Melvin were fantastic! We planned our Chicago wedding remotely from DC, and they made what could have been a very stressful process smooth and easy. Their website is simple and convenient. Marcia was so organized and on top of everything. And DJ Max 10 kept the party going on the dance floor all night! Even family members I’ve never seen dance were out on the dance floor. And to top it off, pricing was great too. Definitely recommend these two!

Very unprofessional, would not recommend this company. Max10 when contacted to inquire about an event. During the conversation began to become very flirtatious. Whom is suppose to be a married, bad customer services for a potential client.

As I woke up this morning, the day after my wedding, and watched all the wonderful videos our guests sent us from that day, there’s one thing that really stood out: our music. Marcia and Melvin were able to bring together 3 different families with extremely opposite taste in music all together for us on our special day. They truly went above and beyond to make us happy. From the Uplighting and monogram they created for us to the stunning white setup, they truly made us feel like family and created a memorable night we will never forget!!

Let’s just say Max 10 Entertainment is one of the best. Marcia and Melvin really hold up there side of the bargain. I used them once before for my Mothers surprise 60th and they had the party dancing all night. I now currently used them again for my Wedding and got the same result. Between the DJ set up, lighting, music and communication, truly a great company with professionalism. A must use!!

The DJ makes the party and thats exactly what DJ MAX & The Wonderful Marcia did. They were our super heroes! Max knew what songs to play to get the crowed going! He had all our guest dancing the night away! Any time we had a question they were very quick to respond. We met up with Marcia to review last minute things and she helped us create a timeline.. we didn't know we needed one and she took over and created one for us and sent it to our venders. She didn't have to do it but took that extra step to ensure she went above and beyond. We also went with the Simply Magical ALL White package! When I tell you it really was Magical... All my guest were Amazed!!!! ( highly recommend) it made the hall look extra BEAUTIFUL! so worth the money! Overall, we are very satisfied and all the guest couldn't stop talking about how amazing DJ Max was :) Thank you for going above and beyond for us on our special night!

MUST READ!!! We wanted to throw an insanely amazing Wedding!!! Christopher and I got married at The Drake in Oak Brook, IL with a guest count of 280. I found Melvin & Marcia on The Knot. We were looking for someone that had a ALL White Package and amazing DJ'ing skills! We didn't know who to go with considering there are thousands of DJ's in the state. I read his reviews and they had 5 stars across the chart with 17 reviews! 7 is our lucky number call it cliche, I call it meant to be! I gave them a shot and went with their Simply Magical Package. I'm SO HAPPY that I did! Marcia is prompt and caters to every single detail that we needed for our wedding day. Marcia & Melvin met us at our venue a few times to go over details on where the setup, lighting, truss system, tables etc.. should be. Marcia was always there quickly to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. We are beyond happy and Max 10 ent. exceeds beyond our expectations on what we were looking for. We would recommend them to any future newly weds or anyone that just wants an awesome party! We gain new friends after all this. Thank you Marcia & Melvin :)

I couldn't ask for a better experience and would highly recommend Max 10 Entertainment. Our reception was a huge dancing party with a 20'x30' dance floor & Melvin & Marcia killed it. They put on an amazing party & was a pleasure to work with in the planning stages & then again for the actual event. Melvin coordinated with a drummer that we also hired, dressed and acted professionally, handled odd guest requests with polish, the volume and sound fidelity was perfect, top notch MC skills, and they even pitched in to make sure we (the groom & bride) were where we needed to be for the grand entrance, for cake cutting, etc. Thank you Max 10 Ent!!! We cannot say enough amazing things about Max 10 Entertainment! We were totally blown away and so were our guests!!! From the music, to the photo booth, to the Lighting - it was all perfect!!! We couldn’t have asked for anything better! Melvin & Marcia was wonderful every step of the way, They helped me stay calm and was ALWAYS there to answer all of our questions, no matter how big or small they were. We used Max 10 Entertainment for our wedding at Chicago Athletic Association and had an amazing experience. We have a mixed background of mexican and american families and friends and DJ Max pulled it off playing songs from all backgrounds and had people on the dance floor all night. The photobooth was a big hit. People keep coming up to us, telling us how great our mc, Marcia, was. In addition to our requests they did a lot of extra's and special things which were a big hit. The photo montage with pictures of us as children and than together as adults was amazing. The photobooth pictures were also great, was so cool, leaving the venue with high quality pictures. Melvin & Marcia was very easy to talk to and responsive throughout the whole process. Overall we HIGHLY recommend them and they helped to make our wedding day, the best day of our lives!

Melvin & Marcia are absolutely amazing! They were very flexible, accommodating, and just amazing at their job! We spoke on the phone prior to the wedding to get the details sorted out and Marcia did everything we asked for! They kept the night moving along. Marcia's announcements were clear and engaging. Melvin (aka DJ MAX 10) is amazing to work with! He kept the energy at an 11 out of 10 the ENTIRE night! From cocktail hour to the very last song, he played the sweetest songs to the most energetic beats! I can honestly say all of our guests can agree that Melvin kept the party going! Hands down THE BEST vendor we worked with throughout our wedding! From the beginning Marcia was responsive and available and totally got the vibe we were going for. She went out of her way to communicate with the owner of our venue and acted as our “wedding coordinator” the day of. Melvin and Marcia was on point, professional, energetic and down to earth! DJ Max 10 was the best!! I can’t say enough - from the start with the ceremony all the way until the last dance of the night, he brought the music, energy and fun. He read the crowd well and recommended tweaks to the reception agenda that made things even better. He had a way about getting people pumped up, recommended some cool photo ops for bouquet and garter toss, and played amazing music that was exactly what we were looking for. Would give 10 stars if I could! The new husband and I are so thrilled with this vendor and can’t recommend them enough!

Max 10 was our DJ for our wedding. He did an amazing job working with us. We had him create our special dance song for our first dance, and our parents dances. We had special requests on songs to be played and not to be played in which he honored them all. He made suggestions that fit our needs which made our day even more special. Max 10 Entertainment provided excellent service durning the booking and planning process for our vow renewal. Most important, the “day of” performance was beyond exceptional! My guests as well as the venue’s staff raved about the music played—especially during the reception. We told him we wanted a party atmosphere and that is exactly what we received. The mixes were insane. Absolutely do not hesitate to book Max 10 Entertainment.

I can't say enough good things about Marcia and Melvin. They were recommended by our photographer and from the moment we made contact I just knew they were the ones. Marcia is so wonderful, and on top of everything. I missed our deadline for the Monogram but Marcia was amazing and got it done for us! It was amazing!! Our DJ was Max 10 and he was AWESOME!! He was so great, kept us right on track and got everyone out on the dance floor grooving so much we added another hour! It was perfect! I'm so thankful to have found MAX 10 Entertainment - definitely the right choice!

On October 19, 2018, my fiancée and I finally got married after 6. 5 years and this day was the best day of our lives together. Marcia & Melvin from MAX 10 Entertainment made things possible that we thought otherwise was impossible. He provided a service that most cannot. He was able to read the crowd and made sure the dance floor was constantly packed with our guests having the time of their life! We provided a dedicated list of musics for our DJ Max to play but not all music was played. But then again, we gave him clear instructions to play whatever songs he needs to make our guest dance. We are extremely happy that he took it upon himself to play songs to entertain our entire guests. DJ Max made the impossible possible and we are extremely happy and pleased with the end result. Thanks for being patient with us during our initial meeting before the event. My wife made lots of adjustments with the play list because she's a perfectionist. Max 10 Entertainment was absolutely incredible. They listened to everything we did and didn't want for our wedding and followed through accordingly. Marcia also gave great recommendations a few days before our wedding when we spoke over Skype. The day of, Melvin was great. He was prompt and had everything set up appropriately, both his equipment and himself. He watched the crowd and in doing so, never had an empty dance floor the entire night. Melvin interacted with the guests and was very engaging throughout the night. Marcia also did an incredible little surprise for us, but I won't give that away in case he does that again, but you will not be disappointed!!! We would recommend them to anyone looking for a Great DJ & beautiful lighting for any event, but especially for a wedding. He is phenomenal!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! MAX 10 Entertainment made our special day so memorable! I had no idea how to do a reception and Marcia and her team walked us through flawlessly. The music rocked the roof off and the energy was so awesome! Our guests boasted about how the music was perfect and everyone heard what they requested. My expectation bar was set high and Max 10 Ent. blew our minds with the professionalism, customer service , entertainment and just over all the night was awesome . I cannot count how many of my guests came up to me during and after the wedding and said "this DJ is awesome!" He was great!! From the beginning, Max 10 Entertainment was very professional, easy to contact, and laid back. The reception was A BLAST because of Max 10 Entertainment. DJ Max 10 made sure to play songs from our song list and from the song requests, keeping in mind our "Do Not Play" list. He also was great at reading the room and seeing which songs got people on the dance floor - when he played a country song and my entire side of the family got on the dance floor, he did a great job of playing more, but not JUST making it about one genre. I had family members dancing who I thought didn't even know how to dance!! Marcia also did the announcements for our cake cutting, first dances, etc. and did a great job. FANTASTIC! Seriously - book Max 10 Entertainment, ask for Marcia!

Melvin did a phenomenal job. I had been to another wedding Melvin DJ'd and knew I wanted to have him DJ for our wedding. Anytime I contacted him, he responded right away. He is very professional. He was really helpful in giving us ideas on music when we weren't sure which songs to use. Melvin supplied the lighting for the reception. He took down contact info. for my vendors and supplied them all with a timeline for the day, so we were all on the same page. He kept the entire event running smoothly and on schedule. He was right on que during the ceremony. And kept all the guests engaged throughout the reception. I recommend MAX 10 Entertainment to everyone, They are fabulous!

We had an excellent experience with MAX 10 Entertainment! Excellent selection of songs, very willing to work with us for some of our more obscure music likes! Melvin was amazing in getting the event set up, responding quickly to any questions I had and Marcia was wonderful at the event. We had some issues with the event planner at our venue and Marcia really stepped in to help us out and make sure our night ran smoothly and was a night to remember! Max played music till the very last minute for my crazy dancing family, and didn't mind my flower girls puppy hanging out with him for a while! We really couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!
