Based in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Max Hansen Caterer is a Full-Service Wedding Caterer with 30 plus years of experience. We are known for our incredibly delicious food, or as our clients call it, "Gourmet Comfort Food!" That is matched with our exceptional Service. Besides the quality and consistency of our Food, our Staff is our greatest asset. Many of our Staff have been with us for 20 plus years, which is uncommon in the Hospitality Business. Our philosophy is "take great care of our Staff so that they will take great care of our clients". We are blessed to still work with Families that we started working with 30 plus years ago.
Our focus is on making the entire experience as user friendly as possible! We will help plan your menu, while we have extensive menus, we are happy to customize a menu to suit your vision for your special day. We often incorporate family favorite dishes. In addition, we will coordinate all your rentals, staffing, non-alcoholic beverages, etc. One stop shopping!
We are Caterers who understand what the word truly means, we are here to do what you would like us to do. Our sole purpose is to help you realize your vision for your "Special Day". There is no "One from column A and one from column B". We are in the relationship business, once you work with us, we want you to never look for another Caterer! Logistics are our specialty. We are also in the "Solutions Business", it is our job to figure out how to make your dream come true!

Every morsel we ate throughout the night was absolutely delicious. Countless people told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had but my favorite comment of the night was from one of our best friends at our table. After taking his first bite of short rib, he said "OMG. This is like a warm hug delivered straight from my mom" - and we couldn't agree more! In addition to the food being top notch, Max and his team are exceptional. They all went above and beyond. I could not recommend Max and his team more! 11/10

The staff was accomplished and polished. They anticipated what was needed and managed the entire event with dexterity. They were accomplished, polished and very personable.
The food and drink was delicious and well curated. During the process of selecting the menu I would ask, "Have you ever prepared...?" The answer was always yes at which point Max would offer complimentary pairings.

You’ll have a wide range of apps and entrees to choose from, and everything got raves from everybody. We’ve all been to weddings where the food was entirely forgettable. This was the opposite: The next day guests were talking about the food as much as the flowers or music or toasts. (We went with an Italian-themed dinner, choice of swordfish or chicken.)
Best of all was the staff, who took care of everything with a smile. Pam is a miracle worker who was unfazed by any request from the anxious hosts (that was us). Everything went as smoothly as could be. Just ask around—anyone who hires Max Hansen is happy and beyond satisfied.

Max Hansen Caterers were not just a caterer-- they went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The team assigned to our wedding, led by Pam and Tracy, were so helpful in helping us set up the tables and table settings, and even all the chairs for the ceremony. I didn't expect a catering to service to take care of every little detail, but they did.
