This place was honestly incredible! We had our reception in the room called the music box and our cocktail hour was in the Atrium which has floor to celing windows look out onto woodward ave. The entracne to the music box from the atrium was to die for! The wall opened up and exposed our incredible reception spot!

I think the venue is the most important choice in a wedding and this definitely set the tone for the whole event. We had it in the atrium which had a very modern design, so I was able to go minimal on all decorations. In fact we had no flowers or any of those frills. It was also important to us that they allowed outside caterers. I liked being able to decide every aspect of the wedding and the staff were very accommodating and easy to work with. We were also able to take amazing pictures in the Detroit Symphony Orchestra hall. All in all, yes it was a bit more expensive to rent the hall itself, but it was very classy and unique. The staff was great we had no worries and it saved us money in other ways like on catering and decorations.
