Pretty much every guest had a compliment about something Molly created! She did our invitations, ceremony programs, table numbers, escort cards, welcome sign , and soon she will do our thank you cards too! Guests said it was the prettiest invite they've received, she hand drew the Chicago skyline and flowers herself and designed a beautiful art wrap and wax seal which gave the invitation suites an elegant feel. She is creative and easy to work with and very responsive. Hire Molly!!
We absolutely LOVED working with Molly for our invites!! Throughout the entire process, we were met with options, Molly's expert opinion, excellent communication and kindness. We went in to the process not knowing exactly what we were looking for, but with a few wedding details and reference photos, Molly was able to provide us about 15 different base-options, which were all customizable throughout the process. We were thrilled with the final product, and received so many compliments on the invitation suite. We opted for Molly's service of addressing, and even mailing all of our invites which was an absolute game-changer.
I couldn't recommend Molly enough. She is an absolute gem and class act. You will not be disappointed!
Molly was such a joy to work with. Everything she does is completely custom and so reasonably priced. She was helpful from the very beginning, asking us questions to come up with ideas for our custom designs based on our likes and wedding plans. She provides you multiple design ideas at every step so you get to choose the pieces that fit you best and watch them all come together beautifully. After getting our full invitation suite, we also had our escort cards and ketubah custom-designed with Molly and everything turned out so wonderfully. We could not be happier with our designs and the experience of working will her. We highly recommend Maxe Designs for your wedding invitations and all your wedding stationery.

Our invitations were so much better than we ever imagined. We knew we wanted invitations that were unique to us which led us to Molly. We also quoted a few other places and Molly was by far the cheapest option. Our invitations were also far more elegant (and us) than we ever could have imaged. EVERYONE LOVED THEM! My only recommendation would be to start sooner. Molly told us to get her the info but we ignored her for a while and the process of course takes longer than we would have liked. BUT Molly did all of the work. She did everything. We were so lucky to find her.

I started designing with Molly 3 years ago in 2018! My fiancé and I had a long engagement and then Covid pushed us back another year. Of all the vendors we’ve worked with, Molly has been my favorite. She is incredibly talented, but more importantly she’s been so kind and positive. She truly cares about her clients. My mom even ended up working with Molly for my shower invitations and still raves about her work! Michael and I are so thankful to have found Molly. She has made this process so easy and fun. Molly was incredible. We were forced to plan our wedding on short time due to complications with Covid and Molly helped us expedite the process of creating our invites, escort cards, and menus. Everything looked incredible and we received so many compliments from our guests. The invitations were so much more intricate than we could have expected. Every detail was thought out and beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. Molly helped us at every step along the way and was able to weave personal things about us into the designs (ask her about our puppy on the envelope!).

Molly was incredibly kind, responsive, communicative, patient, adaptable, and productive. When planning for a wedding, we’ve learned that you should take every opportunity to minimize stress during the planning phase. Molly truly helped counter that stress with positivity and reassurance. On top of that, the invitations she produced were absolutely gorgeous, elegant, and is clearly of high quality. Pricing was very reasonable as well.
Molly took care of bringing all invitations to the post office, and even assisting with a special request to have one sent through FedEx.

Molly has been amazing to work with! Molly tailored our invites to perfectly tell our love story. From the fonts, to wraps and paper details Molly gave so many options. It was stress free to work with Molly and everything she designed was stunning. Our invitations were unique just to us. We have gotten so many compliments on these from family and friends! Another perk is that Molly mailed them for us and added beautiful envelopes and postage.
Wow! I cannot rave about Molly enough! Molly’s artwork is one of a kind and she will undoubtedly create stunning artwork for your event. Molly is detail oriented and she ensures she incorporates everything you love into her art. Molly created our invitations, table numbers, menus and thank you notes. All of which received countless compliments from our guests. Her work is unique, sophisticated and beautiful. I would give her 6 stars if I could! She’s that wonderful.
My husband and I have both loved working with Molly at MAXE Designs so much! Every meeting or correspondence we had was so positive and grounding for us.
Molly created this beautiful custom design for all of our paper needs that my guests are still talking about! She was also very flexible and understanding when our first wedding was cancelled due to the pandemic and helped us get back on track with our new plan. We also loved working with Molly because creating the signature design for your wedding can be so overwhelming, but she always had helpful advice and input while also making sure it was tailored to our style.
I would 10/10 work with Molly again for any future parties or events based on our experience with our wedding. And I highly recommend her services to anyone tying the knot!
Molly was truly fantastic to work with leading up to our Summer 2019 wedding. She designed unique and creative wedding invitation suites, as well as day-of stationary and programs, for our special day. The designs were beautiful and perfectly captured the mood, feel, and color scheme of our venue and wedding. Molly listened attentively to what was important to us during the process and found ways to incorporate meaningful symbols into our designs. We were told by multiple people that our wedding invitations were the most beautiful and intricate invites they had ever seen. Moreover, our wedding program, which was designed in a newspaper format, so brilliantly captured the text and story we hoped to convey during the ceremony. Molly’s passion shines through in her art and designs, and she is simply a delight to interact with as she pours herself into each project and genuinely cares about her clients. We would welcome the opportunity to engage Molly again for future designs and artwork!
From my first call with Molly until the completion of our design, she made the invitation process so enjoyable. My fiancé (now husband) and I had no idea what we were doing when we first started. Thanks to Molly and her talent and professionalism, she provided us with so many possibilities to make sure that what she designed for us was absolutely perfect. She provided us with multiple samples of writing fonts and different wording samples for us to look over and choose from and this made our suite so personal. This allowed my husband and I to work together to design an original product that resembled the two of us. Molly is so incredibility talented! The art she was able to create from our ideas was nothing short of incredible. It reflected my husband and I in a way that made it so special. After seriously struggling to find wedding invitation suites that fit what I wanted and needed I turned to The Knot where I found Molly. I reviewed a few of the artists on The Knot and I decided that I really wanted to work with a local artist to design our perfect invitation suite. Thankfully my fiancé totally agreed with me.
I emailed Molly and we set a meeting. My fiancé and I were amazed at her work. Molly will go above and beyond to create invitation suites that tell an individual story. Our invitation suites are simply stunning. I waited until I mailed our invites and got feedback from our friends and family. Hands down they are elegant and beautiful and like no other.
If you are in need of invitations for anything really, I would highly recommend Molly. We will be going with Molly for other things including our yet to be designed wedding thank you notes.
Molly is amazing!! Our invitations turned out beautifully. Molly was so helpful talking through different options for designs for our invitations, which was really helpful since I'm not very creative or artistic. She really made an effort to get to know my fiancé and me, and our invitations truly reflected us! She was very professional and responsive throughout the process--we really enjoyed working with her!

Molly from Maxes Designs was amazing to work with! I sent her a generic invitation I found on a website and she really made it our own! We received so many compliments from guests :) Molly also made the programs for our wedding ceremony, gift tags and out of towner gift tags for our hotel gifts. She was always very punctual, sending back new design ideas and changes within a day. I loved that she offered us advice on what she thought would look best - she is the professional after all! Not to mention she did all of this for us in crunch time and was so willing to help us crank everything out! She's amazing and HIGHLY recommended!

This is the second time we used MAXE for invitations, programs and more and we could not be more pleased with their beautiful one-of-a-kind artwork, incredible service and reasonable prices.
Our two daughters, married 8 months apart, have different tastes and MAXE nailed it for both. The invitations do not resemble each other, yet they are both beautiful and suit each bride perfectly.
MAXE service is not to be believed and I am NOT exaggerating. It is customer service at its finest. They make this part of wedding planning easy.
Last, and no less important, is the value for the money. You will spend less and get much more with MAXE.
Choose MAXE and expect to be delighted!
Molly is such a great woman to work with. So far she has done our wedding invites and our rehearsal invites and we plan on doing a few more items with her prior to the wedding day! Our wedding invites were absolutely gorgeous. She made my vision even better than I thought was possible. Everyone said that our invite was the best wedding invite they have ever seen. She is reasonably priced even for the more intense invite requests (we did an invite with a pocket, main invite, and three inserts). She was very responsive and helped mix and match ideas to make it exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend using Maxe Designs for any needs you may have.
Let us start off with saying Molly is the best! You will come across a lot of wedding vendors throughout your planning process that treat you as just another couple getting married – not Molly. Molly genuinely wants to know and understand who she is working with and takes extreme great pride in her work and making the experience perfect.
We got in contact with Molly for custom wedding invitations. When we saw other invitations, nothing was unique to our special wedding in Chicago and we felt on several occasions forced to settle with a certain type of wedding invite. Molly worked through every detail with us from sharing inspirational photos, to sharing SEVERAL different custom art pieces, font types, working through our final designs and picking out the perfect paper, envelope, cover wrap, and final touches. We had a tight deadline to ensure guests has enough time to send back RSVPs and Molly absolutely delivered. The number of compliments received after our invitations went out have been beyond what we could have envisioned. With all the stress that wedding planning creates, I can tell you Molly made this process effortless and we feel extremely grateful for coming across her and trusting her with the perfect wedding invitations. This was by far the best of our wedding planning activities.
If you want someone that will have the same level of passion and care you have for making your special day a priority, Molly is hands down the best. While we don’t plan on getting married again :) , we plan on connecting with Molly again on custom designs for future events.
Molly did our wedding invitations, guest book, and escort cards. She made the very complicated process of invitations easy and handled all of my concerns and questions. Molly was amazing to work with! She creates custom, unique designs that contain such special elements about the couple. She took our ideas and ran with them! The day our invites were delivered, we received so many messages about how amazing they were. Even beyond the creation of the invites, Molly handles addressing, stamping and sending them out. It was PAIN FREE (Much needed at this point in wedding planning). She was very patient with my all over the place ideas!
Molly also is working on so much more than just invites! She is completing a unique art-piece that we will use for our guestbook. I could not recommend her more! If you are looking for custom, affordable and easy paper products for your event, Molly is the go-to!
Molly was an absolute joy to work with all the way down to her emails with so much enthusiasm and passion - my fiance and I joked about how her emails made even the worst days brighter. One of the biggest things I learned in the wedding planning process is that there are some vendors that do their job solely for the money and there are some that it is clear as day they have such a deep passion for what they do and care for their clients. My fiancé and I could not of asked for a more fun, artistic, kind, caring, energetic, positive person to design our invitations. Molly is amazing! She went above and beyond to spend time with us, get to know us and make our invites just THAT special. I think the quote used on the finished product was “they are so us.” These invites aren’t just what you order from a book they are designed to resemble your special day as she hand draws every detail. Molly and Maxe designs was one of the best wedding planning experiences my husband and I had during our wedding planning process! Molly is so great to work with- my wedding invitations came out absolutely beautiful and I received many compliments on them. Molly designs everything from scratch so whatever you envision, she’ll create. I had an invitation set that required lots of information and she did a great job adding artwork so the text was balanced and not overwhelming and also created a perfect matching insert with more details guests needed. The absolute best part about Molly is that she takes care of all of the stuffing and mailing inserts herself so it’s one less thing for a bride to do!

I can't rave enough about working with Molly on my wedding invitations. She custom designed our invitations and they were perfect. Romantic, Soft, Elegant was what I wanted and it's what I got! From the very first intake session to the back and forth on design and font favorites-everything was easy and pleasant. It was also really helpful to come into Molly's studio and make the final selection of paper and see how differently paper styles looked in the light. I would highly recommend Molly to anyone looking for custom wedding invites and more!

I STRONGLY recommend Molly to any and all brides!! If you are looking for a unique invitation that is beautifully designed by a true artist- then Molly is who you must hire!! She draws all of her artwork by hand. If there is a design you know you want to incorporate into your invitations- look no further than Molly! If you want a basic run of the mill invitation- this is not it! Her designs are unique and so beautiful. Aside from her designs, she is one the kindest people I’ve ever met. She is AMAZING at communication and responds to your emails or texts or calls immediately. She also sticks to your timelines very closely which is so important! The bottom line is this: if you want a talented artist who will draw, design, put together, and even mail your invitations for you- and want someone who is an excellent value- then hire Molly RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!
Molly has been such a pleasure to work with throughout the process! Molly is extremely personable and professional, and she is also very responsive and a great listener. From the start, Molly really took the time to get to know us and understand our styles and preferences. With her own design experience, Molly was very helpful in presenting us with a variety of great ideas in the beginning that helped inspire us to eventually find our own. It's not an easy task, but she was able to merge my finance's more traditional style and my preference for the modern into a contemporary, clean, and crisp design that we both LOVE! In fact, we are so inspired by the design that we are using the invitation color scheme as design elements for our wedding day! Where do I begin…Molly is wonderful! Not only is she fantastic to work with, her artwork is so authentic, beautiful and personalized to each customer. I am an extremely particular person when it comes down to details and she brought all my ideas to life, if not better than I imagined! She took the time to supply me with multiple options to choose from between formatting, colors, paper, you name it! She is extremely flexible and so responsive. Molly really gets to know you as a couple and what your ultimate vision/design is for your entire wedding in order to create stationary that will initially introduce all your guests to the overall feel of your day! Our guests cannot stop raving about our invitations. We loved everything so much we are continuing the design process with her for programs, place cards and menus. I cannot recommend her enough. Why have conventional stationary when you can have something so personal and customized – choose Maxe Designs, you won’t regret it!
Molly was our absolute favorite vendor to work with! She had this enthusiasm that you can hear from the beginning of the phone consultation, and carried it throughout the entire process! You can tell she loves what she does. Everything is made just for you, based on your specifications, and will never be used again for another couple. When we first met with her to come up with designs, she showed us her previous work. She had a story to tell about every single one, which was amazing to see!

The level of service Molly provided was EXCEPTIONAL and was a full service from design to posting !! Guests have been receiving the invitations and are so so so surprised with the end product - guests have been messaging me saying that they are the funnest and most remember-able invites they have ever received.
Molly was coming up with awesome ideas throughout the process and really too time to think abut our style and what would work.
I cant wait to continue on working on other items for the wedding!!!

Molly is amazing at what she does!! She sets aside time to specifically make the invites tailored to you! She keeps you updated along the whole process. I truly cannot recommend Molly and Maxe Designs LLC enough. Molly is an absolute joy to work with, from the start of the design process to the end - she was SO responsive (like, 24 hour response time to my millions of emails), she is SO kind and SO thoughtful, she is very detailed in making sure everything was EXACTLY what we wanted. I had a dream of exactly how I wanted our designs to look - I wanted them to be Chicago themed, with burgundy and silver touches and blush pink, and OH MY did she make my dreams come true!!!! Molly went above and beyond and even sketched the skyline for our invites and other stationary. We wanted to add some cocktail signs last minute because we forgot about them and she was able to produce them in 48 hours and they were AMAZING!!! Not only were the designs better than I could have ever dreamed of - she brought ALL OF THE STATIONARY TO MY WORK!!!! Designing, printing, shipping, and organizing my day of paper products seemed like a daunting task to me prior to finding Molly. My husband and I wanted to find a design that helped tell everyone about "us." Molly is truly a gem. Immediately upon meeting her, she was professional and a genuine friendly person. My husband and I had a few ideas for our wedding invitations. She was able to immediately understand our ideas and was able to explain the process of designing. She is a true artist; however, you are part of the process every step of the way! We designed our wedding invitation suites, place cards, menus, table numbers, and programs with Molly. Your design process is not complete until you are 100% satisfied with the final outcome. We were able to design a cohesive look to our invitations suites, place cards, and table numbers at a very reasonable cost. Our programs displayed a one of a kind sketch of our church by Molly! Everything was absolutely beautiful. I even created with short notice a small gift for my husband as a surprise at the head table. Molly's passion comes forward in every step of the process, and it is apparent she views every couple's day as important and unique. Like everyone says, your wedding day goes by in a blink of an eye. I feel fortunate to have had such an amazing design experience with Molly as well as beautiful paper products to look at that truly reflect "us" as a couple.
Molly was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! I went to Molly with an idea of a wedding program made look like a concert program, and she made all my jumbled ideas an amazing reality. From making layout suggestions, to suggesting types of paper that would look good, and tie in with my wedding colors, she helped every step of the way. Molly was super responsive via email, and any time I requested a change, she had the updated proof over to me in no time at all. Molly from Max Designs was wonderful to work with during preparation for my wedding. She did the art work for my guestbook, cake signs, table numbers, table seating chart, and ceremony programs. When I had several guests RSVP the day before the wedding, she overnighted me a seating arrangement change for my seating chart. I am so impressed by her professionalism and positive attitude, especially during such a stressful time approaching the wedding. I will recommend her to all of my friends and family who get married. I will even use her for other events in the future (ex: baby shower invitations). In addition, Molly is a great artist. My theme for the wedding was cranes and my two dogs, she hand drew pictures and painted them. The artwork looked outstanding and made my wedding very personal that resembled me and my husband. I initially wanted to make my own invitation through minted but quickly realize there's more to it than just picking a design and entering our wedding information. I tried calling and chatting online with a customer service but didn't get confident of what I was doing. I started looking for another option. I emailed Molly early in the morning and before noon, I was already talking to her about my visions, ideas, options, you name it! By the end of the call I was confident I came to right place and I am in good hands. The exceptional services continued on throughout the process. . When you start the search of wedding invitations, you have two options - to do something generic from a stationary store or online, or to hire a designer and spend more on your invitations than on your entire wedding. Molly is neither of those things - she is an artist! After reading Molly's reviews, I had to contact her, and when I did I got the sweetest, friendliest email back. We met with her in person to start going over some ideas, I did not know what I wanted but I knew what I didn't want and she was very receptive to that. She showed us a book of past invitations and it really seemed like her talent was endless! The best thing about Molly is she will work with you until it's exactly what you want, she doesn't put any restrictions on things, or tell you something can't be done. She will send you mock-ups and examples until it's perfect. We ended up with a 100% unique invitation that no one will ever have, and we feel that what we paid was incredibly reasonable. You can tells he does this because she loves it, in her office there is a chalk board of all the names of her current couples. Molly also understands that weddings are a living thing, and sometimes you have months or sometimes you have weeks to get these out the door and she is very easy to work with in terms of when your invites go to print or when you will receive them. Most of her services are a la carte, and she gives you many options so you never feel like you are choosing a package that may not fit your needs. She is a wonderful person, very easy to talk to, to be around and was simply a joy to work with! My only regret is that my wedding is over and I don't get to continue designing with Molly!
Molly did a wonderful job creating a completely custom wedding invitation for us!!! She absolutely brought our vision to life! I 100% recommend her. Our guests gave us so many complements on how original our invitations looked, and that's because they were original. Molly is very enthusiastic and wants you to be happy. When I first went to Molly's studio, she showed us designs she had created for other couples, I was a little concerned because I didn't particularly like any of them, but the reason for that as it turns out, is because Molly's sole focus is on making an invite that the bride and groom like, not what she likes. So what she was showing us were other couples' visions and styles. There's no possible way that I could have come up with these invites on my own. And for a completely custom design, she was actually very reasonably priced. I did my research before signing a contract with her and I was getting quotes that were double and triple of what she charged us. She also had all of the addresses printed onto the envelopes for us, put on the stamps, and mailed them out. The entire process from initial phone call to invites in the mail took awhile, but let me tell you it was so worth it. Molly is awesome and worth the money, you won't be disappointed!!!

I remember a couple months ago I was looking for beautiful invitations and reading reviews as well & was impressed with the artwork she does. I met personally with Molly at her studio and she is such an inviting and full of energy individual - never a dull moment! First meeting included just getting to know the client/couple and what we would love to incorporate into the wedding invitations, the style, the artwork etc. Molly is one of a kind and she paints/draws an artwork that will be incorporated so nothing is ever the same. Its definitely YOUR OWN design which I loved. Soon after the first meeting she started working on designs, wordings, formats where you can choose from and if you were stuck on 2 or 3 designs - she will play with those designs until they are to your liking :) The next meeting with her she had printed out the designs on different papers and had everything ready for me to choose from where I was able to feel and see how everything will come together once it is mailed out. Once that was done Molly was so nice to address everything with stamps and was ready to mail. The final product was beautiful! A long, long time ago (almost 15 years), my husband Fred and I decided to get married. Rather quickly. You see, my father was terminally ill, and didn’t have much time left, so we made the decision to get married quickly, so that he could still be a part of the celebration. I was trying to figure out how I could put a wedding together within 7 weeks, going into the winter holidays, and actually be able to make it happen.
Enter Molly. Molly not only helped me plan the wedding, she designed my invitations and thank-you cards, crafted my bridal bouquet (along with all the other flowers), and made all the decorations for the church (which I still have and use at Christmas). I had wanted to use some type of a rose on my invitations, and couldn’t find anything I liked. Molly painted a beautiful rose, and used it as the background for my invitations. As a wedding gift, Molly gave me the framed painting, which I have hanging on my wall, and underneath it sits my bridal bouquet in a vase. I also have a framed invitation on the wall, and the flowers for my mother and father (both deceased now) are tucked behind the corner of each frame. Such memories of a happy time!
Zoom to today. My son is getting married in a couple of months. He is from Ohio, his fiancé is from Texas. We were trying to find a way to carry on the theme of “Ohio meets Texas”, but again, couldn’t find anything we liked. I finally had a “moment” and realized I needed to call Molly! I explained our vision, and she came through for us as I knew she would! She painted my future daughter-in-law’s bouquet and incorporated the bouquet along with the states into beautiful invitations and thank-you cards. We are currently working on itineraries and programs, and I can’t wait to see what is coming!

Molly is THE BEST and I can't say enough good things about her! We met with her and two other designers for wedding invitations, but really, we were sold the minute we met her in her studio. Molly is such a great artist and she truly cares about making a design that is representative of the couple, and also working with demands of parents while maintaining the couple's identity through the invitations. We were especially appreciative of her artistry because we had no idea what we wanted for invitations, but the final product could not be more perfect!
She was so easy to work with and very responsive. Pretty much everything is done over email, which is great because we live in Maryland but the wedding is in Chicago. She makes sure to send final proofs before printing, and is so attentive to every detail. Also, these invitations are so unique and personalized, yet the cost is the same as other invitations that are definitely more generic.
Our wedding has not yet happened, but we just sent out invitations out and I have gotten so many compliments from friends and family about how beautiful the invitations are - and they are! We absolutely adore them. We are also working with Molly to make table numbers, the program, and escort cards - so we are really looking forward to getting those done too! We are relatively close to the wedding, and through all the planning and other vendors, Molly has been by far our favorite vendor and the invitations are definitely one of our favorite parts of the wedding. There's no reason to go with anyone else!
Molly is AMAZING. She is responsive, very professional, friendly and absolutely great at what she does! I contacted her for a last minute project and not only did she rearrange her schedule to fit mine, but she finished the work in 3 days! I gave her 7 days! My envelopes were not only beautifully done, but she gave them back to me in alphabetical order, which will be so helpful!
