My style is simple but elegant. I capture candid moments and let the poses happen naturally through minimal direction. My clients become my friends and our chemistry together aids in creating authentic shots of the important details that surround them. The images we create reflect their personality and radiate love. Each shot is developed with a fine art touch and a resemblance of film with a modern edge. I'm outgoing and friendly but I do take time to step back and capture quiet moments in a photojournalistic style. Our journey begins with an engagement session and every couple receives a hard cover coffee table book that illustrates their story. Let's start our story together!

She was able to create a shot list for our family formals that could be rotated quickly and cleanly so everyone could get back to the party, and she really captured the joy of the day and the candid happiness of all of our guests!
She also made the wedding planning process so much easier for us. She was able to provide us with a timeline and give her input on how things should flow. Her communication, expertise, and organization was paramount to planning our entire wedding, not just the photography.

is a consummate professional, always ready to give advice or help out where needed. I don't even know how she managed to capture some of the shots she did--she never over directed us or got in our faces or distracted from the moment. aphy. I did a lot of research, went through a lot of portfolios, and I knew before I met her that Maxine was the one without a doubt. She met me in person at my local coffee shop before I booked her to get to know me, get to know what style of photography I liked, review her past work, etc, which I thought was really sweet! It also gave me a chance to get to know her and realize that she is not only a talented photographer, but also the right sort of person you want next to your side taking photos on your big day. For our engagement photos I convinced her to dust off her hiking boots and hike up a mountain with us to get the shots we wanted, and she did it with a smile on her face! On our wedding day she was calm, collected, and fun! She knew how to handle all of the awkward family stuff that comes up with photo taking, and based on the previews I've seen I know the photos are going to be exactly what I was looking for!
