About this vendor
My style is simple but elegant. I capture candid moments and let the poses happen naturally through minimal direction. My clients become my friends and our chemistry together aids in creating authentic shots of the important details that surround them. The images we create reflect their personality and radiate love. Each shot is developed with a fine art touch and a resemblance of film with a modern edge. I'm outgoing and friendly but I do take time to step back and capture quiet moments in a photojournalistic style. Our journey begins with an engagement session and every couple receives a hard cover coffee table book that illustrates their story. Let's start our story together!

She was incredibly clear and helpful while planning the timeline, guiding me through the day to ensure every special moment was thoughtfully captured. Her care, talent, and attention to detail show in every photo. I honestly wouldn’t want to work with any other photographer for a day as special as this, she gave us memories we’ll treasure forever.

y of making you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, and that truly came through in the photos. Having an engagement session embedded in the package was a huge bonus—it not only gave us beautiful photos but also built our confidence for the big day.
Throughout the wedding day, Maxine was a steady and comforting presence, guiding us with clear direction to ensure we got all the right shots. Her preparation and intake survey was incredibly thorough and allowed us to be fully present while she took the lead during the photo sessions. Her experience and professionalism shone in every moment, keeping the process smooth and stress-free. We even had to make a last-minute change to our photo location due to rain. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a highlight of the day. With Maxine, we trusted that the photos would turn out beautifully no matter the circumstances. To our delight, the new location resulted in photos that were even more stunning and perfect than we could have imagined!
Having been part of many wedding parties, we can confidently say that this was the most seamless and enjoyable photo shoot we’ve ever experienced. Maxine worked swiftly and efficiently, making the entire experience fun and relaxed while delivering exceptional results. If you’re looking for a photographer who is not only incredibly talented but also a joy to work with, we wholeheartedly recommend Maxine. She captured our day perfectly, and we will cherish these photos forever.

tire timeline and plan to accommodate us getting our outdoor photos done. She was flexible and honest, and worked so well with our bridal party to find and create new shots!
She was able to create a shot list for our family formals that could be rotated quickly and cleanly so everyone could get back to the party, and she really captured the joy of the day and the candid happiness of all of our guests!
She also made the wedding planning process so much easier for us. She was able to provide us with a timeline and give her input on how things should flow. Her communication, expertise, and organization was paramount to planning our entire wedding, not just the photography.
We would highly recommend Max to photograph your wedding or special event!

We used Maxine both for our engagement photos as well as for our wedding two weeks ago and she was the best!!! Neither my husband nor I take a lot of photos, but she made us feel ...
totally comfortable and natural the whole time. She also has the best style/eye, so I cannot wait to see her magic for our wedding photos. Cannot recommend her enough, she’s truly so talented!

is a consummate professional, always ready to give advice or help out where needed. I don't even know how she managed to capture some of the shots she did--she never over directed us or got in our faces or distracted from the moment. Instead, she was able to seamlessly integrate with everything and as a result captured the most genuine and sincere moments from our wedding and reception. I cannot recommend Maxine highly enough---I guarentee you will not be disappointed if you hire her.
Maxine is the most amazing photographer; you will not regret hiring her to capture whatever special moment is at hand. My husband and I are not photo people. We are super awkward a...
nd never know what to do with our hands. Maxine made us feel so comfortable during our engagement and wedding shoots and our photos reflect that. They are so beautiful; I stare at them almost every day and share them obnoxiously with whoever is standing closest to me. I truly cannot thank her enough for being the most professional, lovely and caring human. We wanted a second shooter and she chose an equally amazing person, Mary. I absolutely will not hesitate to hire her again for any and all life moments that are down the road and I’ve recommended her to anyone and everyone.

aphy. I did a lot of research, went through a lot of portfolios, and I knew before I met her that Maxine was the one without a doubt. She met me in person at my local coffee shop before I booked her to get to know me, get to know what style of photography I liked, review her past work, etc, which I thought was really sweet! It also gave me a chance to get to know her and realize that she is not only a talented photographer, but also the right sort of person you want next to your side taking photos on your big day. For our engagement photos I convinced her to dust off her hiking boots and hike up a mountain with us to get the shots we wanted, and she did it with a smile on her face! On our wedding day she was calm, collected, and fun! She knew how to handle all of the awkward family stuff that comes up with photo taking, and based on the previews I've seen I know the photos are going to be exactly what I was looking for! Do yourself a favor and hire her now, she is amazing!!
I would HIGHLY recommend Maxine as a wedding and engagement photographer. From the start, she has been nothing but wonderful to work with. Initially, we were not going to do the en...
gagement shoot included in our package, but we are so glad we followed her advice and did it. The photos turned out amazing, and it really helped us become more comfortable being photographed on our wedding day. Her artistic and creative vision is amazing. From the engagement photos to the wedding photos, we are so in love with what she captured. We gave her really no direction in terms of what photos we wanted taken because we really had no idea! We fully trusted in her vision, and she did not let us down. Maxine is professional, kind, and truly fun to work with. She really helped my husband and I feel so comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. She was so wonderful to work with!
Maxine is a wonderfully talented and thoughtful person. She truly goes above and beyond for the special occasion. Her ability to capture life’s intimate moments are her specialty. ...
She has a great eye for design and her attentiveness to detail is unlike others. She has great talent and is a master of her art. Oh, did I mention she goes above and beyond for you on your special day? She’s a joy to work with and her positive disposition really pulled everything together on my big day that included rain. She persevered and was able to capture some truly amazing shots that were authentic and candid versus posey ( is that even a real word?) rigid shots.
