His work speaks for itself- stunning photos!! The exact vibe I was hoping for- great coloring and good mix of posed and catching the real-life moment shots. The actual process of taking the pictures felt effortless (even if you’re not too comfortable in front of the camera) he kept it fun and upbeat and was super energetic and supportive which made it all the more fun. Worked super smoothy with other vendors/videography teams as well. The pricing and quality of what we revived through the package was great as well (included engagement session, two shooters, hard copy photo album). Cannot wait to have all of our photos back. Our journey started with an engagement photo session, and Maksym made it such a special experience. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Maksym’s warm personality and creative guidance put us completely at ease. The photos from that day were stunning, capturing not just how we looked but how we felt—happy, excited, and so in love.
On the wedding day itself, Maksym went above and beyond in every way. Not only was he flexible and accommodating, but he also adjusted to the flow of the day seamlessly. When we found ourselves with some extra time in the schedule, Maksym didn’t hesitate to take full advantage, suggesting additional creative shots that turned out to be some of our favorite photos. He captured every single moment—big and small—with a keen eye for detail and an endless stream of great ideas.
Looking at our wedding photos now, we are completely blown away. Maksym didn’t just capture the big moments—he captured the in-between moments, the laughter, the tears, the little glances and gestures that made our day so magical. asking for a lot. He has such a can-do attitude, great work ethic, punctual, detailed oriented, and so professional—and he delivered day-of. And may I add for a fraction of the price of some photographers out there!! He was one guy, but he managed to take photos of the most important moments. He was everywhere and was running around (literally) to get the best shot. He doesn’t have different prices for hours of coverage- pretty much he’s yours for the whole day. Before the wedding, he is always available and actually meets with you to discuss your day and the photos you want. He sent us our flash drive and it was just the cutest thing ever. The flash drive was in a little book with our photo on it and even the flash drive itself is so detailed- glass with his logo….WOW!

r wedding day. Maksym is always quick to respond. He talked through everything with us, made suggestions on locations for the invitation photoshoot, helped us pose correctly, captured some special candid moments, and was super helpful in encouraging all of our guests to take photos throughout the night. I love how he got pictures of all the couples, different families, and tables. We also greatly appreciated that he helped us move quickly to get a photo with every table. He brought a second photographer and worked with the video crew to make sure everything was beautiful. We've known Maksym from other events, and we recommend him to everyone and anyone looking for a professional photographer. He isn't pushy like other photographers we've experienced, but he isn't shy either. He was super considerate of what we wanted, whether that was more photos at a certain location or a break from being on our feet. He takes LOTS of photos, which we appreciate, and then he picks the best of the bunch and edits them beautifully. The photobook we received after the wedding is super high quality, and we feel like it's something that will last for generations. Everyone was raving about him after the wedding, and they loved the pictures we sent them. We look forward to working with Maksym in the future - and we love running into him at other events!

nnot imagine how our day would have gone without him. The weather took an unexpected turn (freezing cold). We had initially planned to have all photos taken outside. Maks was flexible and great, not only getting the outdoor location shots we wanted, but also suggesting amazing indoor photo locations too (which we implemented and gave us a break from the cold). His passion and excitement for capturing great moments through photography is contagious. And he worked his tail off…. arriving at the hotel before 10:30AM to start getting ready pics and not ending until the reception was winding down near 11PM. Our guests also really appreciated him… Maks would see guests taking pictures of one another and run up to make small suggestions and then take the photos himself using his camera (and the guest’s phone for them to have a copy too). We cannot recommend him enough!

Choosing a photographer who's artistic style aligns with the vibe you want for your photos is very important. The angles, colors, lighting, poses that Maks uses were the perfect fit and were exactly what we were looking for. From the first phone call, to our engagement shoot, to wedding day, Maks was in constant communication with us and was always available to chat if I had any questions or wanted to go over something one more time. He was on time, professional, and extremely friendly, everyone enjoyed working with him. We booked the 2 photographer package for our wedding day which was the best decision ever because now we have a ton of photos of both of us getting ready with our bridal party and families and didn't have to lose any time waiting on one another. Maks and his photo partner really made our wedding day special and we could not have asked for anything more! A lot of friends told us from their experience that Maksym is a great wedding photographer. When it was time to pick a date for our micro wedding we decided that the first thing that we need to do is to check if Maksym is available on that day (yes, basically it was how we picked our wedding date!) :) Before the wedding, Maksym made sure to ask the right questions about what exact photos we wanted to get taken and timelines (which he helped us to construct together with our videographers).
He went beyond and above! He is very energetic, kind, easy to work with. Highly recommend!

ng process and he helped us pick really good spots downtown for our first photos together. Also, he was very understanding and supportive of our decision to postpone the wedding for a full year because of COVID.
On the day of, Maksym was with us the entire day! He arrived hours before we thought he would to get some great shots of the groom getting ready at home and then even brought the veil to the bride because she had forgotten.
His attitude the entire day made everyone happy and smiling, you can tell he loves what he does. Everyone on the wedding party and a lot of our guests mentioned how good of a photographer we had pick. He also listened to us and made sure to check all our requests from the planning stages.
All this and on top he has a great talent! we have so many beautiful shots it’s hard to pick. His style was what we were looking for, very candid pictures full of light. He also has very creative ideas for photos, and really captures all the details.
Honestly I can’t recommend you enough to pick Maksym for your wedding day.

I began losing hope in finding a legitimate photographer for my wedding. I met with multiple vendors that made me feel like getting married was solely a business transaction. Luckily, I finally stumbled on Prokopiv Photography and I felt and immediate sense of comfort speaking to Maksym. He is very clear, honest, and talented in his practice. There were no hidden “extras” in our overall cost. My fiancé and I are generally private and requested that our photos not be shared on social media. He is one of the ONLY vendors that agreed without any hesitation. The fact that he was so easy going about this, made us want to share our pictures with him and his clients!!! He also has extremely reasonable pricing for the amazing quality of work he delivers. We decided to book him and are so happy we did! During the months leading up to the wedding he was always available and happy to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions. On the day of the wedding, he came with an assistant and they got right to work. It was so nice to work with someone who knows exactly what he is doing and can command a room and help the day to run smoothly. You can tell Maksym loves what he does because he goes above and beyond (squatting, climbing, etc..) to get the perfect shot. It rained on our wedding day but Maksym made the best of it and we ended up with beautiful photos. He was able to capture our vision perfectly and photographed everything we asked for and more. It is so fun to look back and see how much love and happiness he was able to capture in his photos. Before leaving for the night, Maksym came up to my husband and me to ask if we wanted to take any quick photos or anything else we wanted captured. I thought this was such a nice gesture and really speaks to how professional and great he was to work with. We could not be happier with our photos and feel so grateful that we have such awesome memories to remember our day by.

have. He was the first vendor we booked when we got married. He is highly sought after in the Ukrainian community in Chicago and is almost booked every weekend, but if you're lucky enough to book him it will be the best decision you make for your wedding.
