May Flowers

We loved working with May Flowers for our daughter's wedding. From the initial contact, they were professional, responsive, reasonably priced, and creative. The flower sprays for the ceremony arbor and the wedding party bouquets and boutonnieres were exactly as we envisioned-- not run-of-the-mill, but very special to our romantic fall woodland vibe.

Christy with May Flowers is an absolute gem. I met with 3 different highly recommended florists, and it was such a tough decision. But Christy and her team were the perfect addition to our vendor team. I had a very long wedding lead up time, and over the course of those 3 years the vision underwent various renditions. Christy was right there though, cool with whatever happened. And by the end, she not only understood my final idea, but made it even better than I could imagine. My breath was taken away when I finally got to see the install in person, which maybe wasn't the best since I was about to walk down the aisle! Another thing to point out about Christy of May Flowers is just how dang nice she is. In the few months before the long anticipated wedding, I was down a maid of honor, up a flower girl crown, and had had 2 additional officiant changes. Then I thought I could make my own bouquet, and Christy offered to help talk me through it. When I made it and it wasn't right, she happily made me a bouquet that tied in with everything. With like, 2 weeks' notice. And every time a change happened or I emailed her for help - she was a total ray of sunshine. Let's go back to the install. While many aspects of the wedding changed, I remained pretty steadfast on this secret garden look I had in my head. I must have sent Christy a dozen different images trying to get it across, but I couldn't ever find something quite what I was imagining. I fully trusted Christy's abilities, afterall we hired her for a reason, but I was so nervous that I did not do an adequate job relaying what I was imagining. Now I'm chuckling because she *definitely* got what I was thinking and in fact, flew my idea out of the water. I did not get to watch the install happen, but my brother watched it and he said he was in awe. At the beginning, the floor was covered in vines and flowers, and then they just kept picking up the pieces and suddenly had created this fairytale garden right before his eyes. He was shook. And this is coming from a guy who could care less about plants tbh. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend going with May Flowers for your wedding or other celebration. Christy perfectly captured my vision without me even needing to know the proper names of flowers, and her team exquisitely executed every bouquet, centerpiece, boutonnière, and install with precision. My heart is so happy every time I think of the magical space she created with her talents. I wish I could have stopped time and just sat there and looked at it all for hours. May Flowers hands down made our long awaited wedding become the most magical secret garden setting that we had been dreaming. (I still swoon every time I think of our wedding day. My heart actually skips a little whenever I picture it!!)

Since we were a destination wedding, I was able to send just a few pictures to Christy, and she was able to make me feel 100% confident that it would be everything I envisioned for my wedding day. She created the most perfect bouquet and breathtaking arrangement for our arch, and it was better than I ever imagined! Christy really did an amazing job, and I highly recommend May Flowers!

Due to covid19, we had many changes throughout the wedding planning process - from our date, to our venue, to our guest list and wedding party - and Christy helped me update the flowers accordingly and was super flexible and accommodating. Working with Christy was an absolute dream!! The entire process was so easy! I live in Atlanta and was planning a wedding on Lookout Mountain. I found May Flowers through social media and fell in love with their style and arrangements. We communicated mostly through e-mail and I was able to send some inspo photos for my bouquet and my bridesmaids. During the initial stage they had me fill out a quick 2-3 page word document to learn about the wedding style. From there they created EXACTLY what I wanted and even better than what I imagined. I was so happy the day of the wedding when I finally saw the final product and I cannot thank Christy and the rest of the crew enough. She even threw in a last minute flower girl bouquet after I learned the Church wouldn't allow us to have petals for the flower girls. Thank you so much Christy and May Flowers!! I 1000% recommend working with them :)

I absolutely loved Christy and the team at May Flowers. I live out of state and was able to schedule a meeting with Christy to completely go over my entire wedding vision. She helped bring my jumbled mess of ideas into a beautiful masterpiece. She thought of everything! I literally had no clue about ANYTHING when it comes to floral - I only knew of one specific flower I wanted on my wedding day and Christy made it happen! She was always easy to reach, whether through a phone call, text, or email. The first time we met she gave me a quote and I was sad it was outside of our budget. We kept in touch and I was honest with her that it was outside our budget. Christy then sent over some additional changes of what they COULD do for us, within our price range and still perfectly accomplished the overall same look and theme we wanted. I spent the entire morning of my wedding upstairs in the venue getting ready and the first time I walked downstairs and saw all of the beautiful work the team at May Flowers did - I was floored! It was better than I could've imagined and came together absolutely perfectly! The team was wonderful from start to finish (planning to execution the day of). I would highly recommend them!

I absolutely LOVED my flowers from May Flowers! They listened to me when I said no greenery, just bright whites. Wow, my bouquet was stunning. It was beautiful. I absolutely loved it. They were professional and easy to work with. I always enjoy working over email instead of having to meet in person because I am busy, and that kind of service that you can rely on without face-to-face is key! I would recommend to anyone looking for beautiful flowers.

Very professional, creative, and affordable! I did two in person visits with Christy and enjoyed planning with her so much. I showed her different pictures for the kind of style that I wanted and she absolutely delivered amazing quality and my flowers were so beautiful. May Flowers was absolutely amazing ! My wedding was 09/16/18 in Chattanooga,TN. I was so busy during the planning of my wedding (In grad school and working full time) that I had thought I was just going to have to do with out flowers for my wedding. My sister in law reached out to May Flowers and they responded very quickly! We live a few hours from Chattanooga so it was not possible for me to meet with them in person. Christy and her team coordinated with my sister in law and myself via email and phone. I can’t say enough about how quick and efficient her team was. From my Pinterest likes they created a detailed description of my flowers and provided me a quote. Their prices were extremely reasonable. When my flowers arrived on my wedding day I cried because I was so happy. There were absolutely perfect ! Thank you all so much for making my wedding dreams come true!

May Flowers is amazing and I would recommend them to everyone! My husband is currently active duty so I was never able to meet in person to discuss my flowers. Christy was so kind to FaceTime me and knew exactly what I had envisioned! Her flowers we so full, fresh, and absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for better flowers for my wedding!

It rained on our wedding day, and while some vendors seemed stressed, Christy was completely calm, which made me feel infinitely better and more relaxed. The flowers for my wedding were high on the list of priority. When May Flowers delivered my all my flowers, and I saw my bouquet, I literally cried. It was everything I wanted and more. The flowers lasted all night and were absolutely stunning. I still have my bouquet-- I dried the flowers and have them on the night stand in my guest room. I recommend May Flowers 100%!

I really enjoyed working with Christy and her team at Mayflowers. They were so helpful and met with us a few times to discuss details and make sure we were all on the same page. For me this was a huge deal because it is hard to find vendors who will consult with you when you need to and take the time to truly listen! They have great vision and are creative. Christy @ May Flowers is great. She listened really well to what I envisioned for the big day and was always very thorough when communicating about the types of flowers she planned to use, how she planned to use them, etc. For a very involved bride, I loved being able to communicate back and forth with her about my ideas and desires. The final products, which were plentiful as we did involve a lot of flowers in our wedding, were beautiful! I wouldn't have changed anything. I plan to keep them around as long as I can, as they are drying very well! : )

May Flowers is a fabulous florist. Christy, the owner and designer, is wonderful to work with. She listens very well to what the customer wants and creates gorgeous arrangements and bouquets. She maintains the vision of the bride while also being creative and adding her own ideas. She works hard to stay within the customer's budget and get the flowers that the customer requests. She is easy to reach and work with and definitely exceeded my expectations. The flowers at my wedding were gorgeous and creative and exactly what I wanted.
