I absolutely LOVED my wedding makeup done by Elaine at Mayed Up!! I felt so beautiful and glammed up for my wedding day, while still feeling like myself. Elaine is a masterful make...
up artist who enhances your natural beauty, and she is also soooo sweet, fun, and cool. She did an amazing job on me, my mom, and my bridesmaids, and I definitely got compliments on my wedding makeup specifically!! Her communication before, during, and even after the wedding was on point, and she was very accommodating and flexible the day of. Overall, I think Elaine is incredible and would absolutely highly recommend her for your wedding!!
Elaine was amazing!! She is incredibly skilled at what she does, and she really takes the time to perfect the look and checks in throughout the process to gauge how you feel. She i...
s also skilled at both hair and make-up on different skin tones, facial features, and hair types, which was very important to me as I am of asian descent and my bridesmaids are diverse in background. On top of everything, she was also great at easing my nerves on the day when I was starting to feel stressed out about wedding guests and other details (I'm sure my fellow brides can relate haha). My bridesmaids and I felt absolutely beautiful on the day, and that is all thanks to Elaine! :)
I don’t even know where to begin with Elaine. I feel so lucky to have found Mayed Up for my wedding day.
When I had my trial with Elaine, she helped me figure out what would look...
best for me and made fantastic recommendations. During my trial, the mink lash selection she had was great, but she could tell they weren’t THE ONES. For the wedding day, she went out and found the perfect lashes that was the exact look I didn’t even know I wanted.
On the day of the wedding, the entire process was stress-free and relaxing with Elaine. I got so many compliments on my makeup the whole night. My entire bridal party was being asked on IG who the MUA was so they could recommend them to other brides. My maid of honor texted me the next morning, “You need to text your hair ppl because they really ****ing killed it. I did not see a single fallen curl.”
I can’t recommend Elaine enough. I am looking for an excuse to throw an event where I need a MUA so I can work with her again. Don’t hesitate to book Mayed Up for your wedding.
Elaine was incredible and so easy to work with. I am so lucky that my bridesmaid found her insta and suggested I check her out. She is easy going, personable, and absolutely dedica...
ted to achieving perfection. She made me, my bridal party and my mom look flawless and our photos turned out amazing. I thought initially the packages were expensive but I have zero regrets and would book her again without hesitation. Elaine’s work was so worth it! Also I really appreciated that she worked with me on scheduling to be able to use my makeup trial on the day of my engagement photo shoot.
Elaine was amazing to work with! From the start, it was so easy to talk to her and set up a bride hair and makeup trial in Abington. Out of all the makeup vendors I had consulted, ...
Elaine's attention to detail and recommendations during the trial really stood out. She really made me feel absolutely beautiful and glamorous like a bride should, while still keeping my makeup light enough so I still felt like me and did not irritate my sensitive/dry/eczema skin. Additionally, Elaine did a wonderful job working with the giant jewel hairpiece I had picked, arranging it in a beautiful way while still keeping it affixed to my head (not an easy task!). It absolutely poured on us on our wedding day and was relatively humid for a spring day, but my hair and makeup stood the test! Plus, Elaine was kind enough to provide a little touch up kit just in case. With regard to the planning part of the process, Elaine clearly communicated a framework for a schedule, what to expect on the day of, and how my bridal party should prep before the services far in advance. Most importantly to me, she made the girls in my bridal party (bridesmaids, junior bridesmaid, and flower girl) feel comfortable and beautiful, listening to their feedback and providing them the same kindness and attention. It was such a relaxing way to start the morning before the chaos of the wedding day unfolded. I really thank Elaine and Alayna for all their help and support to make everyone feel their best on such a special day.
I am so glad I found Elaine. She was so easy to correspond with during the whole process leading up to my wedding! And she was so accommodating for my make up trial since I was tra...
veling from out of state. Elaine and her team did a wonderful job for me and my wedding party. She’s the best make up artist I have ever had and the only one who had made me feel so beautiful and comfortable with my make up. She listens to your opinions and really nails your dream look. I would totally recommend her to anyone!

up. Elaine communicated so well with me and was prepared day of. She made me feel absolutely beautiful and it took my husband’s breath away! She is very talented. I will definitely hire Elaine for any events in the future, and recommend her 10/10!

il the bride was dressed (thank goodness she was there to help!) and out the door! We didn’t expect the extra care she brought to our wedding party. You will be totally satisfied hiring Mayed Up for your wedding and other events that you want to look extra special for! Thanks again Elaine and Erica for making us look and feel so special! You truly are the very best at what you do!
Elaine & her team were so great, they got all my girls looking even more gorgeous than they already are and even with the time crunch managed to get us all ready to go before we we...
re due for photos. I can’t recommend Elaine enough, she was such a sweetie during my bridal trial and at the actual wedding. Everyone was dancing (sweating their butts off) and eating/drinking but we still looked just as good as when we first got “mayed up”.
Elaine is absolutely amazing to worth with. She captured exactly what I wanted for my wedding & her work is absolutely FLAWLESS. I got married in the worst heatwave this summer and...
my make up didn't budge. Her timing is impeccable as well (she started on-time and finished on-time too!) If you're unsure if she's worth it, don't - SHE IS!
Elaine is truly amazing at what she does!!! When I went for my bridal makeup trial, she was extremely detail oriented and asked me questions about my skin type, what products I typ...
ically use, what shade of concealer/foundation I typically use in order to get a better sense of what I was comfortable with. For the wedding, she was able to create the exact natural yet enhanced look I was going for!! I was amazed by how beautiful everything looked while still feeling like myself! All of my bridesmaids were also so happy with their makeup. Elaine as a person is so bubbly and positive that she is a joy to work with. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist!!
Elaine exceeded all expectations! She was perfect. I looked better on my wedding day than during our trial. I was worried about hiring a MUA because I’m so picky and because of my ...
Asian eye shape. Elaine did wonders!
Between my bridesmaids, mom, and me, she had to be versatile since we ranged from our races and eye shapes, and even our make up styles. My mom wanted subtle but beautiful, nailed it. My Korean sister in law wanted dramatic but to make her eyes bigger, nailed it. My white girlfriend wanted neutral but dramatic lashes, nailed it. She could do literally ANYTHING.
And best of all, the make up held up during the whole humid June day!
Also, we’ve had our make up done for other weddings and the girls run to “fix it” after the MUA is done. Not this time. Not with Elaine. She did it so perfectly that none of the girls changed any of it. We all loved her work!
Elaine is amazing at her work. Must hire!

lpful in answering all my questions. She was truly such a delight to work with, all the way up to the wedding day - she had me and my entire bridal party laughing in the morning (Elaine is so personable, and hilarious), and was also such a professional when it came to making sure we were all ready on time, yet could still have fun in the process. She made me feel so comfortable while getting ready (which was difficult to do)! I absolutely loved how she did my hair and makeup, and would recommend her to anyone!

essly putting on falsies to giving us flawless skin, Elaine did it all!
I opted to do a makeup trial the day before (don't be like me - plan better), and she tried all the looks I had in mind. It absolutely helped me better envision what I loved and wanted on my wedding day. I always recommend doing trials if you are on the fence about certain looks or want to meet your artist before the big day. However, after seeing how amazingly Elaine made up my bridal party and mom even without a trial, I could tell she understood how to apply her talents and match everyone's expectations innately. One of my bridesmaid loved Elaine and her work so much that she plans on reaching out for her own wedding makeup!
TL;DR, book Mayed Up if you want to look and feel gorgeous.
First I would like to say Elaine is the bomb! When I first reached out to her, she answered all my questions and was so patient with me! Elaine is sweet and easy to have a conversa...
tion with! My makeup trial was on point and the day of my wedding she made it even better 💜 She knew exactly what I wanted with just showing her visions of what I wanted and guess what, she made it happen + more! My bridesmaids and moms of the bride and groom all looked beautiful! Elaine also came to my reception venue (we had a church ceremony which was about 30 min away) and touched all of us up! I would recommend her to anyone ! Thank you so much Elaine for making my day beautiful !

e can talk to anyone and make them feel as if she has known them forever. Besides being the most down-to-earth and relatable person, she can color match anybody, hide blemishes and acne scars without making your skin flat and cakey, and provide honest recommendations when you get indecisive. You can trust her to make you look even better than you envision possible and that is priceless. She graciously accepted my last minute request for an engagement shoot makeup session (early a.m.) and even accommodated adding extra relatives for makeup on the day of (sorry!). I appreciated her so much and cannot thank her enough for giving me makeup that lasted throughout my wedding day and will live on in my pictures.

ve ever felt! She did such a great job figuring out what I liked and didn't like during my trial and nailed it on the day of. Elaine is so sweet, funny and helped keep me calm while sitting in her chair on my big day. Most importantly, all of my girls loved how they looked! Our makeup stayed in-tact throughout the entire day and night. Nga did such a great job on everyone's hair as well. I have thick hair and my curls did not fall at all!
Elaine was also great with communication leading up to the day of and was very helpful with nailing down the timeline. The two of them were actually ahead of schedule on the day of and made time for my flower girls that were not originally a part of our plan. Both Elaine and Nga are incredibly and I would highly recommend both of them!

cess — from planning a schedule for me and my bridesmaids the day of the wedding to accommodating different looks. Elaine and Kiersten made my bridesmaids look stunning and Elaine made my mom look oh so glamorous!! Elaine and her team even finished ahead of schedule and that allowed me more time to take pictures before the ceremony.
Nga, the hair stylist, did an amazing job with my updo. I have a lot of hair and she was able to make my hair stay in place 14+ hours!
Kiersten did a really classy look on one of my bridesmaids with old Hollywood waves. I was in LOVE with that.

edule for a trial and then day-of, not to mention, I've never had to find someone to do my hair and makeup before. Not only did Elaine accommodate my schedule, she communicated everything to expect, set up a schedule for day-of that she followed to a T, and allowed me to make last minute changes, like when my mother-in-law had her makeup person fall through less than a week before the wedding or when I decided I wanted a warmer toned look rather than cooler colors. Both my mom and mother-in-law had never had their makeup or hair done before and they raved about how professional, kind and talented both Elaine and Nga were.
Hair and makeup are two of the most important parts of turning out a dream wedding look and Mayed Up far exceeded any expectations I ever had. Elaine is by far one of the easiest people to work with and rest assured, you are in great hands when you use their services.

orgeous. I was very impressed with how well she matches various African American skin tones and provides a beautiful but natural look. So when I was asked to be a bridesmaid in my girlfriend's wedding in June of this year, I immediately thought of Elaine. As expected, she did an amazing job and I received so many compliments that I had her do my make-up again a week later for another event. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a little glam for any occasion.
Elaine is such an amazing makeup artist and person! I heard of Elaine and saw her work through friends of friends on Instagram and everyone looked beautiful! With that being said, ...
I highly suggest you take a look at her work on her instagram. I decided to do a trial for my engagement shoot. The trial was such an easy and relaxing experience, it didn’t even feel like I was getting my makeup done. I had something in mind for how I wanted to look but honestly, I was not picky and let Elaine put her touch on my look. My fiancé and I were blown away with how amazing my makeup turned out and she didn’t even use airbrush. I received a bunch of compliments on my makeup as well. She was also great on my wedding day as well and everyone in my bridal party loved their makeup. She arrived on time and was an absolute professional. She kept everyone on time/schedule and there was absolutely no drama in the makeup department. Trust me, you won’t regret choosing Elaine!!

ions or concerns I had. My makeup and hair trial were so fun, and were a great help in gauging what kind of look I wanted for my wedding. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and just looked stunning. She and her team are so hardworking, started off their morning at 3:30 am and worked nonstop to beautify 8 people altogether for my day. She brings out your best features and makes you look flawless, so effortlessly. I would love to work with Elaine again for future events!

—although she has a studio, she happily traveled (2x!) to my place to ensure I could get my hair and makeup done on time for different events. On the wedding day my makeup stayed all day (with a little touch up after crying)! Each of my bridesmaids asked for a different look and Elaine executed them no problem. Everyone looked so beautiful in person and in photos, all thanks to Elaine!!

uld not be happier. I had lash extensions before from an expensive salon in philly which I loved! But when I got my lashes done by Elaine - I am obsessed! They look absolutely perfect. I wanted a very natural look (like I’m wearing mascara or there is just something pretty about my face but you can’t figure it out because the extensions aren’t obvious or looking like spider legs on your face). Elaine nailed it.
Her studio is so gorgeous and clean. Her technique is perfection. My lashes have already lasted WAY better than when I got them done downtown. (It is 2 weeks and a day after it got them done as I write this and I still love them !!). I have gotten so many compliments and my friends are saying they love my lashes this time much better than when I got them downtown. Elaine will customize whatever look you want whether it is dramatic and full or subtle and natural like what I wanted! Also crazy affordable. Can’t wait to go back for all of my own wedding stuff in a few months (and indefinitely after that).
I can’t wait to refer everyone & anyone to Mayed Up! Ya girl does makeup too.

On the actual wedding day, she showed up 5 minutes early despite a huge marathon happening that day in the city! Every. single. one of my bridesmaids looked STUNNING and couldn't stop gushing at each other how beautiful we all looked. ELAINE IS THE BEST. And fast! If you're still searching for someone to make you look amazing on your wedding day, CONTACT HER.
She is very professional, clean, and organized! Gave me the look that I want. No rush job or anything! Used excellent products! She cares about you! Thank you again for seeing me! ...

did my makeup trial for my bridal shower. My bridal shower makeup was so beautiful and I received so many compliments! I knew I would be in good hands for my wedding. On the day of my wedding, Elaine showed up on time, and started right away with my bridal party. She is extremely organized, professional, and very very clean! She made my bridal party look gorgeous! When it came to my bridal makeup, Elaine went above and beyond! She focused so much time on me and wanted to make sure I was the happiest possible. I cannot explain how much I appreciate Elaine and her hard work and care into her craft. I have never felt more beautiful than in my wedding day and I am so thankful that Elaine played such a huge role in this. I highly recommend Elaine for wedding makeup services!

e. She talked to me and eased any tension or worries. This was all so new to me and she was aware. I had no previous experience with makeup. I was just so curious for so long what this would be for me and how I would look and feel and see myself and it was just all unknown which I was nervous for and excited. I knew it was time since I was curious since forever and I just wanted to do. I was completely transformed the moment that I saw myself which I will get to.. keep reading!
When Elaine was finished, I was so excited and nervous to see myself and how I would look and feel, but I was confident that I looked goood😉. I just knew and felt so good that I would look great and I was nervous and excited to see myself. I took about a minute before looking into the mirror when I was ready.. I then saw myself and just could not believe how incredible I looked and then instantly felt! It made me feel completely different inside and out. It completely changed the person i was and felt. Elaine witnessed it and we were both shocked by it. It was such an incredible and very emotional moment!!.
It was just such an incredible experience and I am so very appreciative of her for being there and the incredible work she did!! Elaine is a very sweet person and caring and listened and understood. She helped me get thru this and not sure I could have done without her. I know I have told her over and over 😊 how I feel and looked so incredible!!
