May is an absolute floral genius, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had her bring her artistry to our wedding day. From our first consultation to the breathtaking moment we ...
walked into our venue, May and her entire team surpassed all expectations and created an enchanting floral wonderland that left everyone in awe.
May's creativity knows no bounds, and her ability to capture and enhance our vision was truly remarkable. She listened attentively to our ideas, offered invaluable suggestions, and brought a level of expertise that turned our dreams into a reality. The floral arrangements were not just decorations; they were living pieces of art that added a magical touch to every corner of our celebration.
The attention to detail May demonstrated was extraordinary. Each bouquet, centerpiece, and boutonniere was crafted with precision and care. The color palette and flower selection were not only stunning but also perfectly complemented the overall theme of our wedding. May's passion for her craft radiated through her work, and it was evident that she poured her heart into every arrangement.
Working with May was an absolute pleasure. Her professionalism, dedication, and warm personality made the entire process enjoyable. She was responsive to our needs, adaptable to changes, and a true collaborator in making our day as beautiful as it could be.
May, thank you for turning our floral fantasies into reality. Your talent is exceptional, and your contributions to our special day will forever be etched in our hearts. If you're looking for a florist who goes above and beyond to create a floral masterpiece, Mayflowers Floral Studios is the one to trust.
Wow! Lots of snobs on this website. We loved our flower arrangement for a new baby. They are expensive but they're so unique and really their work is art not just a simple arrangem...

ORCHID DISASTER!
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE DISCOVERED.
FLOWERS OVERBOARD ON BOARD THE MAYFLOWER!!

ose Mayflower, possibly at the recommendation of their florist in Greenwich. The occasion was post-surgical recovery.
We received a lovely two stem white orchid with at least 6 blooms on each stem. One stem snapped within 20 minutes of unwrapping due to the weight of the stems blooms.
Proper staking of such an outstanding specimen should easily be expected from a florist trying to cultivate a high-end reputation with its selection AND its high pricing. Yes, they are VERY EXPENSIVE!!!.
A call the next day received by May, the owner, was met with her presumptuous understanding of our handling of this gift. We know orchids are delicate. We have received orchids from our friends for years and never had this happen.
May did not offer a replacement or a replacement even at cost. May, and Mayflowers, simply said it was our fault and we could come in a buy a new plant.
Hmmm. Given the chance to delight, May chose to show her extreme misunderstanding that great customer service comes with her high prices. We are excessively disappointed with Mayflowers. We will recommend that our friends and Greenwich Florist search for another relationship in or near Reston.
Yes. Eek! Methinks not. Flowers overboard on the Mayflower.
I wouldn't bother getting in touch with these people given the frosty reception that I received this afternoon. These girls had no idea whether I was spending $50 on a simple arran...
gement or thousands on my wedding. We never even got to that point.
I've always admired the arrangements at this florist so I stopped in to see what they could do for weddings. I wasn't greeted by anyone. I approached a girl at the store anyway but she was too busy fixing the flowers in the fridge to pay attention to me. I asked for a catalog anyway, but she went back to ignoring me. I walked swiftly out the door. These people apparently don't need the business. Take your money elsewhere. Imagine what your wedding day will be like if this is how they treat their every day customers!
May is so good at what she does. She's able to figure out exactly what you like and what looks good. My center pieces and bridal party flowers were classy and elegant and smelled w...
onderful!! I received many complements and would recommend her to anyone!! Such a pleasure to work with!
the owner of this store was very rude and the prices were very high with very low quality. Half of the pictures in the portfolio at the store are half dead. She also said that sh...
e has never heard of anyone having hydrangeas in a wedding in July!!!! Is she serious. I tried to tell her that July is the only month in Northern VA when hydrangeas do not have to be shipped. Then she told me that hydrangeas will die within the hour when out of water. The hydrangeas from the florist that I worked with lasted all day through ceremony and reception and 10+ days afterward in water. The owner of this store does not know what she is talking about. She was also very rude and did not want to listen to any of my ideas for my wedding.
