Well.....Where Do I start.
Everything was fine in the beginning. I spoke with the sales agaent, book the Italian gardens, and paid eveyrhting that needed to be paid for.
To my ...surprise, I found out on the day of my wedding that my "package" didn't inlcude chairs. Yes, you read that correctly, there were no chairs present at the wedding. Imagine how I must have felt when my fiance called me telling me this. I understand that I had a small wedding but i had some guests who really did need the chairs. We tried to get them to get chairs but the top "boss" said absolutely not.
After the ceremony I emailed my representative expressing my disappointment over the chair situation. My email was forwarded to Ellen, who is the Sr. Manager of Special Events and Event Sales. She confirmed that I was not well informed that the package that I had booked was the "micro wedding package". Now, I know what you may be thinking, " How does she not know what package she booked?". Well thats because the mico wedding package was never presented to me. The information that I received (the info flyer) did not include a information on the micro package, nor did my sales representative ever state that I purchased that package, AND the contract did not indicate this as well. Also, they had asked muitple times for a final head count, so naturally I thought it was for the chairs. Since per their info flyer, they will provide up to 32 chairs for the Italian garden, but you may have up to 200 guests in that garden.
By the way, for all future brides who may be reading this anytime in the future, per the email that Ellen sent me, the micro packages DOES NOT INCLUDE the following: eremony rehearsal, chairs, dressing room, transportation or event staff. If you get the micro packaged the dressing room and transportation will cost you an extra $100 each.
I will say that they are pretty responsive, but obviously through my experience they aren't very straightforward. My advice, call them out on everything and asked for clarification over every little detail. Because the only thing that they are straightforward about is how to submit your payment.
In thier defense Ellen did claim that they will be updating their flyer info and contracts regarding micro weddings, so this "confusion" won't happen for future brides.
Other than that the venue is beautiful and I got some nice pictures out of it.
