Mayuri is a dream. In a time of so much uncertainty, we planned and re-planned our wedding three times. In the end we decided to plan the wedding two weeks out from the decision due to the changing landscape of the pandemic. I had never gotten a chance to sit down and see table samples, flower samples, anything. But I knew Mayuri knew and understood my style from our original meeting. She pulled it together in two weeks and built the most beautiful and romantic looking wedding I can even explain. My flowers looked like they were from a fairy tale. The alter, the cake, the aisle decor, was better than I could have ever dreamt of. I cant say enough amazing things about Mayuri. She definitely takes the time to get to know her clients taste, which makes her final results flawless and break-taking

The attention to detail and being able to bring my vision for my wedding to life put me such at ease. Mayuri and her team are the absolute best! I've known her and worked with her since she first started her business. Watching it grow has been so amazing, but having the chance to work with her for our wedding has been beyond words. Mayuri created beautiful designs and made our wedding dreams come to life. She is creative, while mindful of budget. She encourages clients to explain their ideas and is excited to collaborate, while making fantastic suggestions. When explaining my overall look, I told Mayuri I wanted to get married in November because I'd rather have no leaves on the trees than green trees and she instantly got my vision. Working with Mayuri has been such a pleasure (so much so that my mom even booked her for my bridal shower after I booked her for my wedding)! TL;DR: Hire Mayuri and Jess - you won't regret it! My husband and I hired Mayuri's team on recommendation from two of our couple friends and did both our florals and planning services through her. First on florals - Mayuri helped bring my vision to life and was a pleasure to work with. She was very receptive to my ideas but is also so knowledgeable and was able to make suggestions when we needed to make decisions within our budget! The florals came out beautifully, and I'm so glad I ended up choosing Mayuri for our decor. We also had an amazing experience with Jess, who runs the coordination side of the business. Jess is fantastic - I honestly can't speak more highly of her. She was so supportive and helpful in the weeks up to the wedding and on the day of, she was seemingly everywhere and also by my side at all times! I don't know how we would have managed without her. Overall, I highly recommend this team!

Mayuri and Jessica!! Words cannot express how wonderful these 2 ladies were to me!! I have no artistic background at all. All of my ideas came from Pinterest. I saw a photo and saved it not knowing it was a Mayuri creation. When I met them at a bridal expo and showed them my picture and discovered it was hers she was instantly my florist. We had a connection. Mayuri and Jessica made all of my dreams and visions come true. These ladies knew exactly what I wanted and what my vision was and brought it to life. My bouquet was the EXACT replica of the picture I showed them. Jessica was beyond amazing. I trusted and valued Jessica's opinion wholeheartedly and Im glad I did. I would text her like a crazy person with questions and ideas and she always answered and offered suggestions. They also offered suggestions to create my vision but in a more cost effective way. Jessica became the sister I never had. Everything they created for me exceeded my expectations and literally made my heart melt. Thank you Mayuri and Jessica!!

Mayuri was very easy to work with. She was extremely helpful with making us feel comfortable and helping us to pick out the actual flowers that we wanted to use in our wedding. Neither me or my now husband are "flower people" so Mayuri was great with guiding us to find things that we wanted. We used Mayuri for our bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres. We opted for fake centerpieces. Five days later and our bouquets still look beautiful in vases at home! I highly recommend Mayuri and her team.

My husband & I found Cindy & the Mayuri team through a family member reference. They were really great! Cindy worked very closely with us to translate our pinterest inspirations into real life. She worked within our budget and gave great suggestions. All of our table arrangements and my bouquet was incredibly bright and vibrant! I made sure to arrange that the guests could take the flowers after the wedding. People snatched them up immediately. Mayrui and her time are beyond brilliant. I was very nervous about the flower designs of our wedding because I am not big on flowers. This was the part of the wedding I was not looking forward to. I didn't want anything big and certainly didn't want to spend a lot. We met with Mayuri and from the minute we started talking with her she made us feel very comfortable and that she was part of our team. She didn't want us to stress about anything and wanted to answer all of our needs. Once we explained to Mayuri what we wanted and how we felt about certain things, she took our ideas and ran! She created such beautiful flower pieces for our wedding day. We actually left in tears (of joy!!) because how amazing she was and how well our meeting with her went. It felt like she was part of our family and we were just there talking about our wedding. She provided us more than flowers. She provided us with center pieces and items that we easily rented and gave right back! And she was always there for advice. On the day of the wedding her team was perfect!! They were prompt and got everything done. They went above and beyond. They are all so incredibly friendly as well. I HIGHLY recommend Mayuri and her team to be a part of your wedding day. Even after the wedding, she checked in with me and just asked how things were. Yes she runs a business, but she doesn't make you feel like you are just doing business work. Words cannot describe how incredible Mayuri and her team are! From Day 1, Mayuri was attentive, creative, communicative, and invested in understanding "the vision." When our wedding day finally came, she nailed it with amazing bouquets, stunning centerpieces, and flawless coordination. We can't thank Mayuri enough for her endless contributions to making our wedding magical!

Mayuri and her team are wonderful. We initially communicated over the phone, as I was planning a NY wedding from CA, and after the first time I spoke with Mayuri I felt great about working with her. She is a great combination of professional know-how, experience, and creative energy. I really appreciated the suggestions and options she made available at every step of the way, from choosing flower types to containers to the design for table arrangements and boutonnieres. She was also very clear about the costs and what was possible if I either wanted to simplify/save on a given aspect, or take it up a notch. When we went to her location in Nyack to finalize our plans I found her whole staff to be equally professional, friendly, and accommodating. In the end our arrangements looked beautiful, and our experience with Mayuri's Floral was great.

I am writing this on 10/30/2018- I am a person who only writes positive reviews. I believe in supporting those companies who perform at their best. This will be my first review in which we were frustrated with our experience. We were extremely disappointed with Mayuri's flowers. First, our flowers were mostly dead. When we received an email back regarding our concerns, they took no responsibility. We stored the flowers overnight at the expected temperature told to us by Mayuri with a vase filled with water. By the end of day all our flowers were brown and wilted. We were also told the florists would physically help decorate our napkin with a floral/leaf piece. We would have never paid for this suggestion by Mayuri, unless we trusted her staff to do this and take her at her word. She then stated, her staff couldn't "wait around". I think what was the most frustrating, was the communication. It is clear Mayuri is taking way too many orders, as when you email, your response back is "it is wedding season and we are busy". This is an automatic response which goes throughout the year as the entire year is "wedding season". When I first spoke with Mayuri, I didn't get a response back for weeks. After we met with Mayuri, we were told we would have a work order by the next day, which never came. I had to remember months later and ask for the work order and the notes we discussed in our meeting. One week prior to the event, Mayuri wrote me "best of luck on your event this weekend".....our event wasn't until the following weekend. We then had two different events and besides having to make sure she knew the correct date, she then wrote me stating we are all set "we have the orange flowers for saturday and the blue flowers for friday". Of note, she also mixed up the floral orders and the colors for the events. When I called her and made sure she knew the correct order, she said she was getting confused because "there were too many emails from me and too much communication"....and hence, she blamed our communication on her confusion. This was an overall disappointing experience and extremely unprofessional.

Mayuri is a true professional and artist. As someone who is clueless when it comes to flowers or being artsy, I was nervous about floral arrangements. I had a vision how I wanted them to look but had no idea how to bring them to life. One sit down with Mayuri and all my fears disappeared. She was able to understand the concept I wanted and the design I was looking for. Fast forward to the wedding and it was perfect. The floral archway was breathtaking! The centerpieces had everyone talking, people couldn’t help but take them home. The bouquets were everything I hoped they would be. Mayuri pays attention to what you want and is able to create your dream. I can’t thank her enough. Her pricing is very reasonable compared to other vendors we spoke with. Very quick to respond to any changes. Easy transactions for payment. Definitely recommend!

This was our first experience planning a wedding. Never hired a florist before, so did not know what to expect. Mayuri made the process quite painless. She took pictures my daughter saved on Pinterest and was able to narrow down her choices to the best possible for us. I was talked into crocheting silver brunia that was incorporated in my daughter's bouquet, my SIL's boutonniere and my wristlet. With her staff she was able to create the vision my daughter and her fiancee were looking for their wedding. I highly recommend Mayuri and her staff for your event.

As a planner its always important to work with vendors you trust. I hired Mayuri and her team for my client's wedding and she created an amazing autumn themed wedding wonderland. Her team was on top of every detail we discussed and it turned out great!

I wanted to ensure the sweetheart table at our wedding would pop, and Mayuri did not disappointment!! I’m sure I changed my mind a thousand times on what I wanted, but she was patient and in the end gave a bunch of recommendations, which was both price friendly and absolutely beautiful! A week before the wedding she also called to tell me that she found beautiful lanterns that would fit the theme with no cost! It was stunning and our pictures are so beautiful and memorable. Mayuri was a dream to work with. In our first getting-to-know-you meeting, I felt instantly connected to her and she really took the time to understand who we were as a couple and what was important to us. She also worked very closely with my Mom to make special details that she was able to incorporate within my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere. We booked her very early on, such a relief, and then worried about the details as we got closer too. She was really patient as we got closer to the wedding and bridal brain took over and I couldn't remember what we talked about. I didn't physically live close to her so I appreciated her texting me images in reference to what she was talking about during conference calls leading up to. It was really helpful to also work off a shared Pinterest inspiration board that we were able to narrow down as we got closer to. She offered recommendations for flowers that were in season and in budget based on / similar to the photos I liked. I didn't know anything about flowers and changed a few things closer to and it wasn't a big deal at all. We were able to recycle our ceremony flowers into our sweetheart table and we reused the bridesmaid flowers as decor throughout which I really appreciated. She also has decor in her showroom that we were able to use that fit the aesthetic we were going for. I didn't worry about one thing leading up to or the day of because I knew everything would be just fine and beautiful when we got there, and it was! Mayuri and her team were very efficient, organized, and technologically savvy to work with and was very transparent about costs, flowers, details, etc. Such a dream to work with and we loved them. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I had the most fantastic experience working with Mayuri and the MFD team. True artists and consummate professionals, they delivered in every way. Mayuri took the time to understand our vision for the event, and then enhanced and elevated it with her expertise. Throughout the process, she and the team were responsive, thoughtful, and personable. I knew from the moment we met with Mayuri that she was the one for our wedding. She understood what we wanted from the beginning. She is extremely accommodating. She even took my changing of our color scheme a few months out in stride. We hired her and her team for both the planning and floral design. I was a hands-off bride for the most part. Jessica, her planner, was fantastic and kept everything on track from a month out. She turns herself inside and out to make your day amazing. The day of the wedding I still really didn’t have an overall picture of what the ceremony and reception would look like because I left the details to Mayuri and her team. Boy did they deliver. Everything was over the top stunningly elegant and gorgeous! Everyone we talked to said it was the most romantic, beautiful and fun wedding they have ever attended. I give all the credit to Mayuri and her team. No detail was overlooked. She even repurposed our ceremony decor into our sweetheart table to save money. You cannot go wrong hiring Mayuri for your wedding needs. She is the best in the business.

The short version : Hire Mayuri & Jessica!! They are amazing!! The long version: Working with Mayuri’s team was different from the start. They were so much more organized than any other florist we had spoken to. Their whole process was different. Rather than ask me what kind of flowers I liked and if I wanted pew bows (I was clueless on both flowers and ) they SHOWED me pictures of flowers from different weddings they had done so they could understand my style was and so I could better find ways to articulate it. Then they created a digital profile for me so they had all the images we picked out to reference in the future. I also wanted to color coordinate the flowers to my dress but not have my fiancé know ( it was a blush rose dress). They were wonderful from the start about making sure it was kept secret. We were also considering hiring a wedding coordinator and we could not be more happy that we went with Jessica from Mayuri’s Floral Design. We both said multiple times over hiring Jessica was the best money we spent on the wedding. She was amazingly organized, always available and responsive and offered great ideas to help smooth our day over and get the most from our vendors. Jessica and her assistant were nothing short of fantastic. At one point I mentioned to my husband how I thought some decorative doors we had brought would have had flowers (they had greenery which is what we had agreed upon; I had just gotten it mixed up). Jessica overheard and repurposed some of the bouquets from the bridesmaids and made a beautiful setup into a breathtaking one. I was so touched and impressed she made that update for us on the fly. Best, best, best money spent on our wedding was hiring her – hands down!

Where do I start with Mayuri and her amazing team?! My husband and I are so happy we found Mayuri. From the initial consultation, Mayuri was so professional yet warm and full of ideas! She was able to create the look I wanted for my wedding and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to fulfill my request. She also worked with me on the budget and was always prompt in responding to my emails/text messages. She even went out of her way to speak with me when she was on vacation! Mayuri is truly amazing!! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the ceremony backdrop Mayuri created for our wedding. The centerpieces and table decor came out so perfect, it really made the reception beautiful. The flowers honestly stole the show! I can't say enough about the arrangements Mayuri and her team made. They were amazing from start to finish. It's hard to plan a wedding in NJ from California, but they made the process seamless. We got married on January 20 - a winter wedding. I shared my Pinterest board with them, and they could see my vision. The bouquets were breathtaking, the corsages and boutonnieres were perfect. They provided rented lanterns for the centerpieces and I couldn't have been happier with how the arrangements looked. Thank you!

I got married this November and this was the only vendor that made the planning process/wedding day stressful. We had originally agreed on centerpieces of candles with greenery & flowers placed on the table around them. However, when we went for our mock up, Mayuri was only showing us candles & greenery. When I mentioned that I had thought there would also be flowers she checked our contract from when we booked and it did in fact say there would be flowers. However, Mayuri said that must have been a mistake and that if we wanted flowers it would be an extra $75 per centerpiece. She also wanted to charge us a 5% increase for using a credit card (not mentioned the contract, it just says if you pay with cash or check you will get a 5% decrease in your invoice, which is not the same thing) and a 10% late fee charge. Not only is the late fee not mentioned in the contract but they don't send you a second invoice or reminder when the next payment is due, like every other vendor that we worked with did. I understand the due dates are on the original invoice, but planning a wedding can be hectic and it is easy to forget when a payment is due months away. A week before the wedding I had a phone call with Mayuri to go over the final details. While looking at the final contract/invoice, there were many things I had to have her take off or that were incorrect which we would have otherwise been charged for. Then on the day of the wedding, they were supposed to arrive at the hotel with the bouquets at 12:30pm and didn't arrive until almost 2pm, when we were getting ready to leave the hotel. I will say the actual flowers and centerpieces did end up looking beautiful but it was definitely not worth the stress and if I could go back I would not use Mayuri. They also offer to enter anyone who writes them a good review into a raffle for things like a weekend getaway or a nice dinner in NYC.

I got married this November and Mayuri and team did an amazing job. The bouquets were so beautiful/romantic and I received a lot of compliments on them. Also the delivery of flowers was on time and Mayuri put up with all my changes with ease! I would really recommend her and her amazing team !

Even six months after our wedding people are still talking about how well organized it was and how beautiful the decorations were. She will give helpful suggestions and also want to make sure your dreams are realized. We wanted Harry Potter/Indian theme and Mayuri came up with up with ideas that fit in our budget.

Mayuri was the floral designer we chose for our daughter's wedding this past October 8th. After consuting with several other floral designers, we knew without a doubt, she was the one! Truely professional, very organized , totally dedicated and invested in every detail of our wedding. She brought us through this process and handled every aspect of the wedding. Mayuri captured our vision and brought it to life ! We could not believe our eyes at what we saw when we entered the ballroom! It was magnificent !! The out door ceremony was stunning with the flowers, the petal path, the stunning chuppah that Mayuri created. My daughters bouquet was stunning as were the flowers for the rest of the bridal party. Her touch with candelabras , and candles and flowers and crystals for the cocktail areas was incredible. Mayuri out did herself when she transformed an outer patio area that was part of our coctail hour, into a beautiful, romantic, Gatsbyesque veranda with drapery!! Her ability to transform spaces is amazing! I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed working with Mayuri and her staff!!! I would highly recommend her!!! TerriAllyne

Mayuri and her team are AMAZING at what they do! After speaking with a few florists, we knew Mayuri was going to be great. She was able to capture our vision perfectly. Mayuri was able to tune in and recognize when we didn’t like something, and she was quick to create other options for us until we were all on the same page. The end result was beautiful and Mayuri really hit it spot on! Not only did Mayuri help us create the atmosphere we wanted, she also helped us stay on a budget. She gave us various centerpiece ideas other than just flowers. We also hired Mayuri to drape a room for the cocktail hour. She completely transformed the space, it was stunning! She also built our Chuppa which also had some draping. Mayuri thought of some great unique ideas including a hanging table card display that was also our photo booth backdrop. My bridal bouquet was the most beautiful and unique bouquets I have ever seen. Mayuri and her design team know how to arrange colors and flowers beautifully and they took the time to meet with us and stay in communication with us. It is hard to find people who are so good at knowing what you will like, Mayuri has that gift of tuning into your vision. We were thrilled with how everything came out!!

Mayuri and her team did a fabulous job for my engagement party. They created and setup a drape that matched my outfit perfectly and looked very professional. I loved the chairs, the pillow, and everything came out so amazing in photos. Without this, my photos would have been bland. I'm so glad I decided to get the draping done! Mayuri and her team were also responsive to emails. I recommend her service at your next event.

Mayuri did an amazing job bringing our vision to life at our wedding. The flower arrangements were so detailed and even fit our personalities. She took our color scheme and matched flowers that would go best with the colors of our bridal party outfits. It was everything we could hope for and more. She also created the back drop for our reception and it was so elegant. Thank you so much!

Mayuri Parikh embodies professionalism and passion. She was very patient with our group and even had great suggestions keeping our taste and budget in mind. The flower arrangements truly tied the whole even together!

Mayuri was amazing to work with. She knows the answer to any possible question you could have about your floral arrangements and decor since she also does event planning. All of our flowers were fresh and gorgeous but my bouquet was absolutely stunning, I decided to have it preserved for a shadowbox display case so I can look at them every day. Mayuri was responsive to every request we had and was able to show us many examples so we could put together our vision. She communicated with us often and when our original flowers were delayed due to the Hurricanes in the Caribbean, she let us know about this possibility and made sure she provided us with beautiful alternatives when they didn't arrive on time. I was a little sad we didn't get our hydrangeas and curly willow, but you can't argue with Mother Nature! She helped us work within our budget and when I was having difficulty putting together the project I had in mind for my table numbers, her and her team took on the project themselves and did a great job.

Mayuri was highly organized and professional. I do not know a lot about flowers so she worked with me and made suggestions based off of pictures and swatches I showed her. She even asked for me to share my pinterest board with her and make comments on what I like/dislike about each pin so she could really understand my vision. Would highly recommend!

My bridal bouquet begun falling apart minutes after being delivered. We had to call Mayuri back to the venue to build me an entirely new bouquet because there were chunks of flowers missing by the time we were doing the photos for our First Look. It was a hot day, but my bouquet was also made of mostly silk orchids. Silk flowers don't wilt. This was extremely stressful and upsetting. After we came back from the honeymoon, Mayuri did agree to reimburse me for my destroyed bridal bouquet. However, she gave me a hard time about doing so, because she did fix it! Well, she can't fix my wedding photos that feature a broken bouquet front and center. If you want to have a nice wedding, use someone else. Working with Mayuri was an enormous mistake. Aside from my bouquet, Mayuri was difficult to get in contact with. I would call or email multiple times before I heard back from her. She advised me to use some silk orchids and some fresh orchids in my bouquet because orchids are so delicate. However, the bouquet I received didn't have a single fresh orchid in it. She told me I agreed to only fake orchids, but my contact says a mixture of fake and fresh and I don't recall agreeing to only fake orchids. Do yourself a favor and don't work with her. If I could go back and use another florist, even at double the cost, I would have.

Mayuri and her team were just absolutely amazing to work with. I was getting anxious looking for florists on such late notice (a little less than 2 months before my wedding) and with a September wedding, everyone I contacted was either booked up or required a minimum charge for my event. She fit me into her schedule right away and after I met her at their store, I immediately felt like I would be in good hands. She worked with me on my budget in creating my dream wedding flowers and even Facetimed and sent pictures afterwards of the sample floral arrangement when I couldn't make it to the store to see. I had my wedding this past Saturday and Laura arrived earlier than expected. The way she arranged all the lavender and the garden roses on my cake was just what I had imagined my cake would look like. All the arrangements were so, so gorgeous! They really nailed the color combination and look I wanted! I got so many compliments about them and at the end of the party, not a single centerpiece was left on the table! I was, however, disappointed that my table garland got on the wrong truck. Mayuri and her team made every effort to get my garland to the venue and although I would have loved to have seen it, it arrived after we were seated for lunch. Luckily enough, Mayuri had made an extra table arrangement which was placed on our head table prior to the start of the party. I called Mayuri Monday and told her what happened and she was very apologetic and offered a full refund on the garland piece. She even gave me tips on what to do with some of the flowers afterwards in terms of preserving/drying it. Even with that hiccup, I would choose Mayuri's again for another event. Her prices are reasonable, they are personable and easy to work with, very professional, and will definitely bring your vision to life! Thank you Mayuri, Kristen, Laura and the entire team who made it all possible!

She was always available for questions or changes. When we got to our venue this weekend for our wedding, Mayuri and her team were there and completely exceeded my expectations! The centerpieces, entryway, cocktail room, chuppah, bouquets, cake - EVERYTHING was gorgeous beyond belief. I heard guests commenting throughout the evening that they were noticing the details and special touches. I never even thought I would care about the florals at my wedding and now I look at pictures and they were a true highlight. I HIGHLY recommend Mayuri, without a doubt.

Mayuri was such a pleasure to work with. I booked her as the florist for my wedding, and also booked her event planning services for the month before the wedding and the day of the wedding. She is extremely detail oriented and always gave so much time and attention to my family and I throughout the planning process. She gave professional opinions while always keeping your vision in mind. Everyone on the team was absolutely fantastic, extremely polite, and so much fun to work with. They really made the day go off without a hitch and were there to help the entire bridal party every step of the way. The day went by with such ease because the planning team was there, I would definitely recommend this service, it took so much stress off of my family and I. As far as the florals for the wedding, Mayuri and her team did an amazing job. Every guest was blown away at how beautiful the flowers and all the reception details were. If there is anything you want, Mayuri will find a way to do it; she is very determined and a very hard worker. Mayuri truly made my vision come to life and brought tears to my eyes the moment I walked into the venue. So if you're here reading this review you're probably considering hiring Mayuri to be your event planner. You don’t usually realize how much work and planning is involved with creating and executing a wedding until you get thrown into it. Coordinating a 250+ person event and making sure everything runs smoothly without hiccups is extremely challenging and Mayuri made it look easy and took everything in stride. I was definitely an obsessive bride, but she always made us feel confident about my decisions, and no question was too much, nor was any request too crazy. Mayuri and her team went above and beyond for my family and made sure my dream wedding ended up exactly how I wanted it to be. Mayuri knows the wedding industry inside and out, and it shows. She helped me manage expectations; prioritize tasks, budgets and timelines. She went above and beyond what was expected of her. This – all before the wedding day. On our actual wedding day, everything ran incredibly smoothly. If there were any problems, even a minor glitch, we didn’t know about it. Because of all the planning and Mayuri being there to make sure all details were in order and everything was delivered, set up and serviced, our wedding day felt easy, relaxed, and was so much fun. Mayuri is honestly just excellent at what she does; she’s extremely effective and also very efficient. ”. She made our wedding exactly what we hoped it would be. In addition to being our event coordinator, Mayuri also made my bridal bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere. It was absolutely beautiful and everything I imagined it to be. You should consider yourselves lucky if you have the chance to snatch her up to be your wedding planner. We even overheard one of our guests remark at the end of the day, "That was the best wedding I've ever been to...and I've been to a LOT of weddings." To me, that says it all!

Mayuri provided excellent service for my May 2017 wedding. I absolutely loved how my mandap and decor turned out. Mayuri brought my vision to life! She is so detail oriented--from picking the perfect colors to match both my husband's and my wedding attire. Mayuri went out of her way several times to accommodate my needs while being considerate of my budget. She changed the chairs for the mandap last minute because she realized that the ones I had picked out weren't ideal to match my lehengha. I am beyond satisfied with her professionalism and her customer-focused mindset. Thank you for helping my dream come true!

Mayuri did the Mandap for our Indian wedding, and it turned out incredibly!!! She was so wonderful and helpful through the whole process, and gave us great ideas when it came down to the color scheme and post flowers.
