The Maywood String Quartet is a musical ensemble based in Bountiful, UT that performs at weddings and events. This group provides their talents at more than 100 events each year and has been working together for well over a decade. Using their expertise, they enjoy providing a memorable touch to a couple’s celebrations while giving the gathering a sophisticated ambience.
The musicians of The Maywood String Quartet have performed at luncheons, receptions, ceremonies, and in other settings. Their diverse experience performing at different venues allows them to adapt to weddings of varying themes and styles. Classical favorites, as well as renditions of popular tunes, are among the plethora of songs they can play.
The Maywood String Quartet features three violinists and a cellist, who expertly combine their skills to offer melodic performances. One violist can also play the viola for events. The group can work outdoors, provided the appropriate setting is offered in order to protect their instruments. Couples can request any songs from the quartet’s lists, or discuss with the group about playing additional songs outside of these options.

hen it's happening you feel like your blacking out! However! Almost every guest I had complimented the string quartet that played. They took my requests and really elevated our ceremony. They also hustled over from the ceremony to play at the cocktail hour, which was awesome. Really appreciate this group!!

ed 3 new songs for the wedding! One of the guests said he sat and listened while everyone was walking away from the ceremony and was so moved by their rendition of a Sigur Ros song he teared up. We tried to schedule a time to watch rehearsal beforehand to see the new songs, and it was tough because they are so busy, but totally was not necessary once we heard them play. They are very professional and for others would not worry about that. My only regret is that we walked down the aisle too quickly and didn't get to hear the whole song!

This was a re-booking of the quartet after a superb experience last Christmas. They were prompt, professional, etc. I wrote all the scores - and naturally in 160 pages of string ...
parts, there were some errors in the scores. Quick conversation and they were able to handle each and every issue and need. I give them an unqualified excellent recommendation.
