This contract also stated that they would arrive no later than 1 hour prior to the start of our service time, and in many email communications with them they stated that they would be bringing their own tablecloths and everything else that they needed. What actually happened on our wedding day was very different than what was agreed upon - the bartender arrived after 3:00 pm with no tablecloths and asked my wedding coordinator where the mixers were. My father-in-law had to leave the venue to get the mixers she requested in order for bar service to start at 4:00 pm for cocktail hour as agreed upon. When I sent an email about all of this directly to MAZE, they essentially told me that none of this was true. They tried to tell me that the bartender arrived at the venue earlier that day, but for some reason did not speak with the coordinator (and no one saw her until after 3:00 pm). They also stated that a different person from the company arrived at some point in the night with the mixers, rather than them being provided by us as clients. They offered a reimbursement for use of our tablecloths, but nothing for the mixers that I know were bought by a family member. They also indicated that I should have sent an inventory of what alcohol I was going to provide beforehand, yet they never reached out to request this from me before the event. Overall, the pricing is what initially made me choose to book with MAZE. The service from the bartender was great, but there seems to be miscommunication internally.

According to the owner, they assumed what we wanted and sent the bartender with all of the wrong stuff. She was only able to serve for 2.5 hours, though they were contracted to 4 hours. The bartender had to leave to get the beer we desired, and a guest had to run to the liquor store and pay for a few bottles of liquor out of his pocket.
