Married Dec 2024 in San Francisco - Not only was my cake gorgeous - it tasted amazing too. I also had a cookie bar for the dancing portion of the evening and all the delicious co...
okies came from Mazzetti's as well. I had an idea for a cake that the Mazzetti team turned into reality. I found what I thought was an impossible photo of a cake with trees in the icing. I know, sounds crazy, but I wanted the whole evergreen Winter-vibe and the cake turned out exactly like the photo I gave to Angela. Also, setting up the tasting was super easy. You just go by and pick up a box of 10 cupcakes of the different flavors you want to try and pick what you want for your cake. My cake was 3 tiers with 3 different cakes in each tier to give our guests different options. First tier was chocolate with raspberry filling. Second tier was vanilla with pineapple filling. And the top tier was chocolate with mocha filling. Everyone talked about how great the cake was - moist and super flavorful. If you get a chance to go to this bakery ahead of time, I highly recommend it. You cannot find even a marginal item in their bakery. It's all delish.
Somehow Mazzetti's cakes were the best tasting and the most affordable of all the bakeries we tried out...choosing them was a no brainer! Working w/ Angela was great - she is super...
nice and professional. Would highly recommend!
The wedding cake turned out beautiful and delicious! Very helpful and professional staff, lots of options to choose from.
Our experience with Mazzetti's Bakery for our wedding cake was wonderful. Communication with them through email was easy and efficient.
The cake sampling process, though costing ...
a small fee, was definitely worth it. We were able to taste a variety of flavors and were impressed by the quality and taste of the cakes.
When it came to our actual wedding cake, Mazzetti's Bakery exceeded our expectations. They provided us with a wedding cake information packet with many different options to choose from for types of cake, tier sizes, flavors, fillings, frosting colors/accent colors, and many different designs to choose from. It even included example pictures of past weddings cakes, which were extremely helpful. You can tell the bakery is highly experienced and has been making wedding cakes for a long time. We emailed them our completed order form and described in detail how we wanted our cake to look/taste. We specified 2 different cake/filling types (one for each tier), design details, frosting colors, and buttercream flowers with 3 different accent colors. They were able to create the cake exactly as we described, and it turned out even better than we had imagined. On the day of the wedding, they delivered the cake within a two-hour time window that they provided, and it arrived on time and in perfect condition.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our experience with Mazzetti's Bakery and will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious baked goods in the future.
We had a great experience using Mazzetti's for our wedding. They made us a beautiful cake and provided the most amazing Italian desserts! Lots of options to customize exactly what ...
you want. Very affordable! All the guests raved about how delicious the food was. Customer service was also very good - quick to respond to email or phone call and helpful with any questions or concerns. Highly recommend!
I have grown up coming to Mazzetti’s Bakery sometimes as a treat before school, weekend breakfast, and some special event cakes. It was not shocking that when it came time to get m...
arried I thought to taste wedding cake from the bakery. My fiance and I had tasted so many cake combinations but decided to do two flavors, a classic chocolate raspberry and white cake with guava filling. Each combination was completely delicious--my now sister in law, who claims to not even like cake, loved the chocolate raspberry! The white guava was a different flavor for folks and a hit among the guests. We opted for a smaller stacked presentation cake, and then sheet cakes to minimize leftovers and keep costs down. In hindsight, it was sad there were not more leftovers, we were excited to have the leftovers the next day--still delicious.
WAHOOOOOO. What a Cake! Mazzetti's is so popular to locals and if you know you know. But this was a first for a wedding cake and I will recommend again and again.

fully designed all white butter cream cake with 3 flavors: white cake with raspberry filling, chocolate cake with fudge filling and traditional carrot cake with cream cheese filling. It was a hit and the talk of the night. They also delivered to our venue in San Francisco, this made the process easy and accomodating. Mazzettis was on of the best tastings and the price is perfect! Give them a try, Angela was fantastic and easy to work with!
I have been going to Mazzettis all my life since I was a little kid. When I got engaged and we picked a local venue I just knew we had to hire them for our desserts for our big da...
y! They were easy and flexible to work with with so many options to customize your order! They also worked with us to make some further changes so it fit our idea exactly. When it came to the wedding day itself, they were timely and helpful and made working with them so easy! The desserts were obviously all so tasty and our guests raved about them non-stop! I have never seen a dessert table empty so quickly! The only reason my husband and I were able to enjoy some is some were put aside for us for the end of the night! Highly recommend for desserts everyone will love!
Mazzetti's Bakery does it again! Many of my friends have used Mazzetti's for their wedding, so when we heard they were the preferred vendor for our reception venue, we knew we'd be...
in good hands. Ordering the tasting box was so easy-we picked up about 12 cupcakes with a variety of frosting and filling flavors and then did all the communication about what we wanted to order via email. It was so easy! Everyone loved their cake slices and we are looking forward to having more white cake with mango filling (our biggest surprise and favorite) in a year for our anniversary!
Mazzetti's was the cake provider included in our wedding package from Crystal Springs. Our goal was a simple, but delicious, cake and we got it. The cake was much better than the...
tasting samples (that experience was probably negatively impacted by Covid). The staff there was friendly, although they can be a little tough to get a hold of a times, which is to be somewhat expected from smaller mom/pop operations.
We used Mazzetti's for our wedding cake through Fairview Crystal Springs last weekend. Everything was very easy and user friendly. They have a PDF of different styles/colors and ca...
ke/frosting flavors that you can reference and use to fill out your order form. The cake they made was exactly what I was envisioning and tasted great! Their order system is very convenient especially during COVID. The only time we needed to go to the bakery was to pick up our cakes for our tasting, everything else was remote.
They providing the cake for our reception. The cake was gorgeous and it taste really good. I would definitely recommend this bakery to anybody that’s having any type of event. Thei...
r customer service is wonderful and their cakes taste amazing.
The single star review is based on service.
I found Mazzetti's at a bridal fair. they were sampling cake and it was actually decent enough for me to schedule a tasting with them....
Tasting went well and we decided to order the cake for the wedding
They were very accommodating about decorating the cake to match our custom made topper.
The price was very reasonable and I was very happy to have found them. Fast forward to day of the wedding.
The driver forgot to deliver the topper with the cake which is actually not the worst mistake. Their biggest offense was not communicating with me at all. When I called the bakery to complain day after the wedding I was told that they realized the topper had not been delivered but since they had no one else to deliver the topper or they just let it go. -keep in mind cake was 11 in the morning on their wedding was at six in the evening, we had hours to fix the issue but instead I found out literally when we were ready to cut the cake.
The whole topper fiasco could have been avoided with a simple phone call !!
Anyway . Cake itself was Delicious And Beautiful And Even though they apologized with $100 certificate towards their goods I simply can't recommend
I love Mazzetti's cakes but my wedding cake beat them all. From meeting with Julie to having the cake delivered, everything was perfect. The cake was the perfect size for our party...
and all the flavors were amazing.
We drove out to Pacifica from the Bay Area to do a taste testing, and it was well worth the drive. This bakery is quaint with a family owned feel, and located near the ocean.

On the wedding day, our cake was beautiful, just as we had hoped and it tasted delicious.
So happy that Mazzetti's did our cake!
Julie knows best. She was incredibly helpful, and even shared her insight and references on everything wedding-related. The cake tasting at Mazzeti's was the best experience too. S...
o many different cake flavors, fillings and icings - we loved them all! Plus the total cost for everything was very reasonable - I probably budgeted for 2 cakes based on her pricing. Choose Mazzeti's!
We ordered our wedding cake through Mazzetti's as they are a vendor through Wedgewood Crystal Springs (no obligation to use them, but we figured we would try them first in any case...
). We ended up not cake tasting anywhere else as their cake was amazing! Julie provided us with a plethora of different filling flavors to choose from and so many samples that the two of us plus a bridesmaid couldn't finish them all. Our favorites were the fruit fillings. We ended up choosing white/chocolate with raspberry filling, white with lemon buttercream, and chocolate with mocha layers. Everyone really enjoyed the cake.
We want a Delft blue design on the cake and they said that they could print it on some special ribbon if we sent them the pictures. There was some confusion in sending the image files (in PowerPoint), but in the end it all worked out and the cake looked amazing!
I was very pleased with my 4 layer cake, it was very well done and tasted delicious!

lean and professional. The bakery's prices are reasonable and their delivery is very timely.
Thinking about the cake again, I'm wishing I had more of it to eat. I was so busy talking to everyone at my wedding that the only time I got to enjoy the tasty cake was a couple bites at the cake cutting. Those were a couple of very scrumptious bites and my guests have told me that they really liked the cake as well!
The cake was a gift but boy the taste was DELICIOUS!!!
At first when my then fiance now husband told me to give his hometown neighborhood bakery a try by making a cake tasting appointment, I was not exactly excited because I wanted the...
best and was willing to pay top dollar. I made an appointment. First, they did not charge for the tasting (many places now charge), and the owner, Julie Mazzetti was the one hold the meeting with us. Not only was she friendly and knowledgeable, but very generous. Visit her and you will know what I am talking about. Their cakes are made the DAY of. Alot of bakeries make it the night before or even 2 days before (gross). I had sent a picture of the design and the cake decorator called me personally to discuss in detail her concerns and made recommendations. I like that - that is the reason why I hire professionals for their expertise! Lastly, the cost of the wedding cake - four layers, and four flavors for 230 people - was seriously 60% less than what I would have paid for at another bakery. The cake tasted and looked amazing on the day of my wedding. I am incredibly happy with my choice and grateful this bakery exists.
con: Her staff is not as knowledgeable or friendly, but as long as you speak to Julie, it is all under control.
If you want a delicious and gorgeous wedding cake, look no further than Mazzetti's Bakery. Not only is the cake tasting appointment a little slice of heaven (go on an empty stomac...
h), but Julie Mazzetti is full of good advice and helpful insider tips. She is such a great baker it was hard to decide what type of cake to serve, but thankfully Julie was patient and assisted us through the process. We'll be going back, both for our special celebration needs and for regular, everyday treats. We're glad we found Mazzetti's!
they had the best tasting cake of the ones we tried. owner will throw 30 different cake combinations in front of you to taste...she likes you to try them all. GREAT value for wha...
t you get. Who wants to spend thousands on a cake that either people will or will not eat??!
I've had their cake for birthdays and my cousin actually had a Mazzetti's cake for her wedding and it was delicious as always!
Julie was our consultant and she was so great, so ...
easy to work with. I highly recommend her. I ordered Derby cake - which is a white or chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream and fresh strawberries and bananas. So tasty every time. The downside with this cake is you have to have it refrigerated.
I changed my mind and wanted the cake to be displayed during the reception. They were really great and let me adjust the cake a week before the actual wedding. We used the derby cake for the pass cake. There was only half a tier left for a 300 person wedding.
For the amount of cake we ordered, I felt we didn't really pay that much. We spent around $500 for our 300 guest count wedding. Their idea of a serving is pretty generous. Totally worth it and I highly recommend them. The decorations are a bit simple but I'm a fan of a simple cake and fresh flowers. They do have some nice designs but we were going more for flavor than fanciness.
