l started with choosing a vendor from the Key Largo Lighthouse website and the process went from there. We emailed a few times in the year leading up to the wedding. But we had initial phone call about a month out from the wedding and then another finally meeting with Harrison (DJ Kid Karter). Both calls served their purpose in different ways and were incredibly helpful. The phone call was super helpful with direction and the 2nd we met DJ Harrison, who then went above and beyond in helping us to fill out the forms, as we talked and he got a vibe of the style music we liked. The meeting we had with him made things feel so easy. He really broke down what he needed from us and then asked specifics of what we wanted from him. And when it came to day of, he did not disappoint. Cannot say enough how much he went above and beyond. We gave him our playlist but he threw in some amazing filler songs that weren’t on our playlist that made us thrive!!! He was really great with interacting and getting our guests to dance and fun. He was just an all around awesome guy and an amazing DJ. Very thankful that he was apart of on special day.

Our DJ kept the energy high all night from perfectly timed ceremony music, to seamless transitions during dinner, to a packed dance floor until the very last song. They truly read the room and knew exactly what to play to keep our guests dancing and having the time of their lives. We got so many compliments from friends and family about how amazing the music was, and honestly, our reception wouldn’t have been the same without them. They made everything so easy and stress-free. Not only did he keep the energy high with a perfect music mix and a packed dance floor all night long, but he also went above and beyond in every possible way. He helped bustle my dress when no one else could figure it out, jumped in to help put up tents when a storm started rolling in, and even helped entertain and distract all the littles during photos (which was a lifesaver!). Michael was fun, upbeat, and such a calming, positive presence throughout the entire day. He made everything feel seamless and truly cared about making our wedding perfect. e do a spectacular job DJ-ing and got all the song choices we requested he even mixed up a special song for my mom and I to dance to. Just above and beyond the whole night - checking if we needed anything, we’re comfortable and making sure we weren’t being rained on during our super soggy reception dinner. Even though it rained like crazy, he made the night so memorable. Our guests were also telling us how great our DJ was. 1000% recommend you book them!

Every conversation leading up to the wedding was easy, reassuring, and left me feeling completely confident. On the day of the wedding, I made a last-minute change and asked if he could meet with me when he arrived. Without hesitation, he came to where I was getting ready. Not only did he immediately understand what I needed, but he also helped secure my veil when no one else could figure it out! That was just the beginning of what Michael would do for me that day. During the ceremony, we added a unity sand ritual — something I had completely forgotten to discuss with him — and I hadn’t even picked a song for it. Michael had no prior notice, but somehow, in that moment, he instinctively played the second song I had chosen for my walk down the aisle. It couldn’t have been more perfect. I looked over at him, overwhelmed with gratitude for his quick thinking and intuition. Later, when I needed help bustling my dress so I could walk freely, several people tried and couldn’t quite get it right. Michael — who, it turns out, worked in a bridal shop for 14 years — came over and had it secured perfectly within seconds. It felt like every time I needed help, without even asking, he was there. I cannot explain how comforting that was on such an emotional day. He made our wedding not just smoother, but so much more special. Our wedding party was small and not everyone was a dancer, and while I felt bad that he didn’t get the full hyped dance floor experience, honestly, I would have hired him just for everything else he did. His presence, his experience, his intuition — it’s priceless. Michael is truly the total package: an incredible DJ and so much more. He knows weddings inside and out and will make sure yours is everything you dreamed of — and more. I am beyond grateful for him and feel like I made a lifelong friend in the process. When our photographer, Fern, needed help capturing the perfect shot, Michael was there, offering his assistance without hesitation and ensuring everything went smoothly. He even stepped in to fix my bustle when it wasn’t cooperating, handling it with a smile and making sure everything looked flawless. To top it off, he gave my mom a quick back massage to calm her nerves before the big moments! What really set Michael apart, though, was the incredible energy he brought to the event. He wasn’t just the DJ; he became an integral part of the celebration. His warmth and authenticity made it feel like we’d known him for years. He wasn’t just behind the turntables—he was right there on the dance floor with us, encouraging everyone to join in, keeping the energy high, and ensuring the vibe was absolutely electric. Michael’s ability to read the crowd and keep the excitement going helped create a fun and unforgettable atmosphere that made our wedding day even more special. We are beyond grateful for everything he did to make our celebration truly exceptional

e he would be our hype man at our wedding. When it came time to booking him, communication was excellent. Of course I didn't expect anything less! There was a couple of times I was stressing over the music and he knew just what to say to make sure I knew it would all work out. When it came to the day of the wedding he was there when he said he would be. ALL of the guests LOVED him! When my now husband were sitting at our sweet heart table I told him, "man I really want to clean off the plates at our table." Michael came over a few minutes later not knowing I said that and cleaned it off before the speeches. Michael was just another vendor who became a friend during the planning journey and now he feels more like family. WE LOVE MICHAEL! My mom even said, "I want Michael to be our DJ for our anniversary party!" I also have a friend who is getting married in November and said she is canceling her DJ and booking him! Uhhhh Ohhhh but when you know...you know! THE BESTTTTTT HYPE MAN EVER! If you are looking for a boring DJ he isn't for you. LOL
