DJ Johnny Cruz came recommended by my venue for some reason, I wish I would have looked for better options. He was super nice & everything but I had asked previously for certain Ar...
tists to be played & he never played them. I had let him know a month before the wedding about the song change for the Bride/Father Dance, the day of my wedding he announced the previous song, which really bummed me out. I shouldn’t have to correct the DJ the day of our wedding to play a certain song that he had already been notified about previously. Also if you see more people dance to a certain type of music & that certain type of music gets the crowd going, keep playing that. That’s another thing that really bummed me out, several of my guest requested songs that got the crowd moving, but instead of keeping that vibe, the DJ would change it to something not as fun & the crowd would leave the dance floor. Another thing, there was so much feedback from the speakers, when my mom made her speech, her mic volume was so low no one could even hear her but when other people spoken the mic was way too loud. It was just all over the place & I just wished I had researched better & chosen better. The DJ should make the night better not dampen the night.
DJ Johnny Cruz came in during a pinch when the last DJ backed out. He is a professional who knew exactly what to do for a wedding!
I left up some details to them and I think they ...
did a great job at providing what the wedding needed.
Thanks!
Initially we were planning on not having a DJ to save money... However, after talking to our married friends, the consensus was that it is absolutely worth it to hire a good DJ/mc ...
for you wedding because the set the tone for your event and keep the party active and rolling. I couldn't agree more!
We worked with Brian Martinez... He is very personable and easy to work with. He offered guidance where we needed it but was the first to remind us that it was our wedding and to be sure we did what we wanted- not what he or anyone else wanted. He had great ideas (the shoe game) and kept our ceremony going smoothly all night. He even came over and checked with us several times during the reception to see if we needed anything. We have nothing but good things to say about him! "Book with Brian, you won't regret it." - my Husband :)
Dj Johnny did a great job keeping the party going and ensuring the dance floor was always packed. He also spliced two songs together for my Father/Daughter dance with no additiona...
l fee, sent it ahead of time, and had it ready to go for us! He kept everything on schedule and on time and came very prepared (even stayed late since the party wasn't ready to be over)!
We first experienced the amazing Juan at a wedding of a friend of ours. We loved him so we booked him for our wedding right away! Our venue had some challenges but Juan was able ...
to make the right decisions and keep things rolling smoothly. We were even able to give him clips from our favorite songs on youtube and he played them perfectly. He is truly talented and a fun guy to have running the show. What impressed me the most was that he made it to our wedding even during all the CO flooding this September. We can't thank him enough.
Working with Juan was a breeze! He is so much fun and really knows his stuff. Music and entertainment were super important to my husband and I and we truly had nothing to worry abo...
ut once we booked with them! Everything went exactly as planned, my ceremony music was perfect and throughout the night he was wonderful about playing whatever I asked him to. He kept everyone up and on the dance floor all night! If you want someone who knows how to get the party going, then Definitely call MC Johnny Cruz!
DJ Johnny Cruz saved my life... or at least my wedding. My now husband had waited until two months before our wedding to book a DJ, he spoke to Juan, who told him that he didn't n...
eed to look anywhere else, that he was available, and would do it for a price better than any other one we found. He delivered on his promise, but even better, he was an amazing DJ! He had great ideas for music, and he knew how to read the crowd, and how to anticipate what they wanted to hear. During the cocktail hour, he played classic rock, later in the evening after some of the older guests had left, he added some newer pop and dance hits.
One other thing, there was a small problem with our caterer not bringing enough plates for the cake, and he jumped into action, he let me know what happened and told me he would take care of it. His wife drove to a nearby store, got us plates, and no one was the wiser.
He went above and beyond, and I am eternally grateful. Juan is like the god of wedding DJ's.
I saw Juan doing his DJ thing at a BBQ about 3 years ago and that day I said I wanted him to DJ my wedding. I got a business card and kept it. My wedding was 5 days ago and I used ...
him - he was the very first vendor we booked because I didn't want to lose him! I don't even know what words I could really say to describe how great he is. He's so energetic, I know half the people out on the dance floor wouldn't have been if not for him. He got on the floor with us to keep things going. We met with him several times before the wedding to make sure everything was perfect, and it was. His energy is addictive, contact between us and him was fantastic, and I can't recommend him enough. 5 days later and I'm STILL getting compliments on him. If you go this way you won't be disappointed.
My Husband and I have been to several weddings in the year leading up to our own. We had taken notes and decided things we would do and things we would not do. One of the main th...
ings is that we wanted a DJ who would lead the evening but not be the center of the event. We found just that in Juan with MC Johnny Cruz mobile DJ. Juan is so professional, open to your ideas and won't do the same ole', same ole. We got so many complements on Juan and you will too if you book him. Worth every penny.
We cannot recommend this DJ. He came highly recommended to us by friends. We had a good initial feel from him and he assured us that our day would be perfect. Unfortunately, he was...
just over 3 hours late to our event without a courtesy call. He completely missed the ceremony and cocktail hour that we contracted with him. We stalled dinner and dancing until he arrived. The professional staff of our venue saved our day.
Made the reception a dance party!!!
He did a fantastic job and definitely kept the guests involved and having fun. We had a lot of compliments from our guests on how awesome the DJ was. His engergy and excitement is ...
unreal.
He was so great! He is very high energy and totally made the night. Many people who don't usually dance actually danced at my wedding! The dance floor was never empty. We met with ...
