McArthur Weddings & Events

made all the difference in the wedding planning process and I am thrilled we worked with her. From monthly checklists to vendor supports and day of coordination, she was amazing. Heli and her coworker Sara made our day seamless and stress free (honestly). If you actually want to enjoy your wedding planning and day of, I'd recommend them any day.

essions with her prior to our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, and we left each one feeling even more excited and confident about our wedding than we did going in. Heli’s organizational skills are excellent, and all of her emails and spreadsheets are perfectly formatted and laid out such that you will be able to save so much time and stress throughout the course of planning. Our wedding day also went precisely according to plan, no doubt in large part because Heli had all of our vendors marching to the beat of her drum. Finally, she was wonderful during our rehearsal dinner and on the day of our wedding. She had such a calm and trusting presence, especially with our families, and was able to make people naturally feel like everything is going perfectly - even while she is dealing with a million moving pieces. I am so glad that we hired McArthur Weddings because they truly saved us so much time and stress throughout this process.

and can make your vision board come to life. The documents, timeline, and resources shared by this team are unmatched. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for support on their wedding day.

ne, etc. and we could not be happier with how she made our wedding vision come to life. It snowed the week of our wedding and we were worried we’d be unable to have our ceremony outside, but Heli went above and beyond to make sure we got the outdoor ceremony we dreamed of. When there were some last minute changes to the guest count, Heli & Laura were extremely adaptable and flexible and made sure we did not have to stress about a single thing. The day flowed seamlessly and everyone had a blast. Highly recommend working with Heli & Laura for any event!

erstand my design vision and needs from afar—and Laura exceeded every expectation. From the start, she made me feel understood and supported, and by the time the wedding arrived, I knew without a doubt that she would bring our vision to life. Just days before, we faced a sudden change in the weather forecast to rain, after weeks of clear skies. Laura handled this with ease and creativity, making last-minute adjustments so seamlessly that my husband and I could relax, knowing everything was under control. Laura’s expertise allowed us to be fully present and enjoy our wedding day!! I often find it hard to delegate, but with her calm and capable approach, I had complete trust in her every decision. I am honestly going to miss our planning calls—Laura became a part of our lives! If you’re looking for a planner who can handle anything with skill, grace, and a deep understanding of your vision, I can’t recommend Laura and MacArthur Weddings and Events highly enough. Seriously do not look anywhere else, they’re simply the best.

up our perfect day, and she MADE. IT. HAPPEN!

ter having our own, we feel the exact same way! When we first started wedding planning, my husband was skeptical about hiring a wedding coordinator but once he saw all the work Heli was putting towards our big day, he was so happy to see me less stressed and see our wedding come to life. My first meeting with Laura, I was very frazzled about how I wanted our wedding to be. She offered so much guidance and advice on all the little details. They have an incredible vendor list and list of resources that were really helpful while booking everything. Because we just signed up for "day of coordination", I really thought I would be more on my own with the whole planning process. Heli started with us two months before our wedding and completely took over all the wedding correspondence with all my vendors. That was AMAZING and made me feel 10000x less stressed. Heli might be the most organized gal I've ever met. She was so quick to respond to emails, had answers to all of my small detail questions, and was always on time and prepared for every meeting. She was such a joy to work with. I really feel like she went above and beyond for our day and made it feel really special even with how simple we wanted our wedding to be. All of our family, friends, and my husband were SO impressed with her and could tell the effort she put into our wedding. I would hands down recommend McArthur Events to any couples getting married soon. I don't know how anyone throws a wedding without a planner or planners as great as Laura and Heli!

an we expected! For the price we paid, we felt like we got a fantastic service and were super happy with the results, attn to detail and service the team provided.

o ensure our day was exactly what we had envisioned. Her coordination with vendors in the months/weeks leading up to the wedding allowed me and my husband to focus on ourselves and our guests. On the day of the wedding we both felt so relaxed and had a blast at our wedding knowing all of the details and coordination were being taken care of! The entire wedding flowed so nicely and was truly the best day of our lives.

professional, and the friendliest bunch to have included in your wedding. They took all of the headache out of wedding planning and allowed us to simply be guests at our wedding, instead of having to host our own event. Our lead planner Heli was an absolute rockstar!! Her and her assistant Mollie thought of everything down to the smallest details and were expertly prepared to make sure our day ran smoothly. We couldn't recommend them more!!

e were looking for and our budget. She was available throughout the process to answer questions and guide us through step-by-step. As a result, we had nearly NO STRESS about the wedding. She went above and beyond our expectations as a wedding planner.

, but ran into Laura McCasland at the Lake House Wedding showcase and felt an instant connection with her. Laura is fantastic! We cannot say enough good things about how she managed our wedding with professionalism, enthusiasm, and detailed organization. We highly recommend her and her team if you are looking for a wedding planner. We were able to totally relax on our wedding day because we knew Laura had it all under control.

much attention to detail. I'm terrible at planning but with their help, everything was entirely manageable and seamless. On the day of our wedding, I had zero stress because of them. Laura and Heli both were also so sweet, warm, and just fun to have around. Many of my family members commented about how kind and helpful they were. Not only did Laura and Heli plan and coordinate our wedding day, but they were also incredibly generous on the day of. For example, Laura worked on cleaning a mud stain off my dress after the ceremony and Heli helped me change shoes on the trail to and from the ceremony site at Juniper Mountain House. I feel very grateful to have worked with them and would recommend McArthur Weddings & Events to anyone who wants help planning their big day!

me around she had spreadsheets ready, meetings planned, and simple to do lists for us. She hooked us up all the small last minute things I wouldn't have thought about on my own, like flower girl baskets, a card box, table sign holders, etc. She took command of our rehearsal day in an efficient and organized way. On our wedding day, she kept us grounded and helped transition us through every part of the day seamlessly. Do yourself a favor and hire a planner like Laura!

so fun! Her and Megan made our day perfect and our guests had nothing but compliments and fun! As a bride, I didn’t have a single stress the week of the wedding because I knew Laura had everything under control.

s of timeline, guest list, vendor information, etc. Three months before the wedding, we worked with Zoe and we seriously could not have made this wedding happen without her. She handled almost off the logistics from that point on. From the start, Zoe was warm, professional and organized. She was able to take our ideas and run with it. She made the process so easy for us and we are truly so grateful for how smoothly things went on our wedding day!

day of coordination. Zoe was always quick to respond, answer questions, give recommendations, and keep me organized and on track throughout the planning process. She was a god send day of the wedding- corralling guests, making sure we were hydrated, running my flowers back and forth for photos, keeping us on schedule, and so so many other things behind the scenes. This wasn't a vendor we had originally planned on having, but booked because it was required by our venue, and I'm so thankful we did, because I couldn't have crossed the finish line without Zoe! Another plus was that they do offer some rentals, and Zoe was able to gather decor at our rehearsal to bring to the venue. All things considered, McArthur Weddings and Events is an affordable option for day of coordination and definitely worth budgeting for. 10/10 recommend!

ticulous when it comes to logistics and details. Our beautiful venue Juniper Mountain House is an incredibly unique location, and because of that they smartly partner with McArthur Weddings and Events to be part of their venue fee, getting planner services 60 days out from the wedding. That arrangement was perfect for me since I wanted to plan most of my wedding myself and then be able to pass it off to someone I could trust to execute my vision. When we first met with Laura and Zoe from McArthur, I could tell we were in the best of hands. The documentation alone (including a color coded checklist timeline to keep me on schedule for the planning I did myself) was a work of beauty, and both Laura and Zoe were so easy to work with, offered advice and suggestions about how to best achieve what we were going for, and were absolutely rockstars on the day of. We had a bunch of variables - my 100 lbs sweet but powerful pup was in our ceremony and signing our marriage license, we decided to shuttle all of our guests to Evergreen from Boulder about 45 min away using both party buses and car services at a variety of departure/arrival times, my husband and I wanted to not see each other until I walked down the aisle - which in a small outdoor venue can definitely be a challenge, and in classic Colorado summer fashion we got a big rainstorm mid-ceremony. But absolutely everything went perfectly! When it started raining, Laura and Zoe moved our lounge furniture to be spread out under the various covered spaces and were on hand with clear umbrellas (one of my favorite photos is of us in the woods right after the ceremony having a moment under the umbrella in the rain). They coordinated with my dog sitter in picking up my beast of a pup and getting him and all of his things home safely so I could be worry free. My crazy transportation plan all happened and I heard nothing about it, which is the ideal. I truly can’t thing of one thing I would go back and change, and that was in huge part to the McArthur - including their day of champ assistant Molly! We’ll be forever grateful that the McArthur team gave us our dream day!

o our walk throughs and all the way to our wedding day, Laura's professionalism and help made wedding planning easy. The resources, checklists, and timelines she provided helped us tremendously throughout the planning process. She was always quick to answer questions and did a great job of communicating with us. Our wedding day came with an unexpected snow storm resulting in last-minute changes to our floorplan. We could have easily gotten overwhelmed with all of those details but Laura handled everything and our wedding turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. We highly recommend Laura and the McArthur team!

le at giving us honest and helpful input, while still accommodating our vision. Beginning months out, Zoe met with us via Zoom multiple times and was in constant communication through email. She helped make sure we were on track and had everything we needed. McArthur also supplied us with planning tools that were essential in our planning process. On the weekend of, Zoe made sure everything went as planned and no detail was overlooked. She executed our vision perfectly, even with unexpected weather and last minute changes to the setting in which we had our ceremony. Zoe, Laura, and the other vendors were able to flip our ceremony setting to the reception setting smoothly and efficiently. We truly did not worry about a single thing and got to be fully present on our wedding day. We would highly recommend McArthur Weddings to anybody who is getting married. Thank you Zoe and Laura!!!

mediately found a solution without needing to alert myself and my husband. Thank you Laura!!

i but we got marred in Evergreen, CO. I truly don’t think we could have done it without Laura. She made every step of the process so easy and accessible. My wife and I are both anxious individuals and maybe not the most organized of people - Laura helped ease all our anxieties and made sure we had all our details together before our big day. I don’t think I can recommend working with Laura enough. We love her, our guests loved her, and we feel like we walked away with a new friend.

n! From start to finish, Laura was professional, responsive, and organized. Most of all, she was calm, kind and excellent at her job. She rolled with any punches thrown her way with grace and a can-do attitude. For example, we had day-of signage that was delivered to a wrong address. She was able to find and retrieve it from the wrong porch in another neighborhood. Since I was not able to make an extra trip out to Colorado for linens and rentals, Laura facilitated all of this, even though it wasn’t originally part of her responsibilities. Laura helped us plan our wedding in 4 months. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Our minds were blown! Our wedding was down-right gorgeous! She helped bring together our abstract ideas and put all of the pieces together beautifully. Our guests raved about how beautifully things came together and how much fun they had. My family and wedding party had so many great things to say about Laura, her smile, and her ability to stay calm, focused and organized in the wedding whirlwind. We are so glad we landed in Laura's hands. You will be too! We are forever grateful for Laura and the McArthur team for all of their hard work and efforts to make our wedding day a great success.

an with it. They made it effortless to wrap up all the loose ends, even thinking of several things we'd forgotten about. Day-of coordination is a huge weight off our minds and the event went smooth as can be. Thanks!

ssisstant did everything from set up to washing dishes at the end of the night. We couldn't have done it without them!

a, and it could not have been more perfect. Laura was one of the first vendors we met and knew immediately we would be in good hands. She has a relaxed energy that put us at ease (wedding planning can be overwhelming at times!) and was there to support us in whatever we needed getting to our wedding day. One of the best things about Laura is how much she cares. She wants your day to be everything you hoped for just as much as you do. Before our wedding, Laura was incredibly helpful in making sure everything was what we envisioned and handling all final details as we got closer. She even went as far as to track down the perfect plates for our table settings when we thought we’d have to settle on something we weren’t totally in love with. Laura made it happen. Not to mention our actual wedding day! It was perfect in every way and we know that’s largely because of Laura. She did just about everything possible to ensure the day was magical. You know you are truly grateful for your wedding vendors when you’re a little sad it’s over because you don’t have a reason to check in with them constantly. We feel that way about Laura! If you are searching for a wedding coordinator who is beyond professional and spectacular at what they do to make your wedding a dream, Laura is the only choice.

nally met with Laura, who gave us access to an incredible shared Google drive for our wedding so we could start planning, see wedding advice, get recommendations for vendors, and have everything organized in one place (I am obsessed with organizational tools, so this was amazing for me). This summer, we started working with Zoe as our lead planner. I cannot say enough great things about Zoe (and I also want to be friends with her). Zoe is extremely organized, professional, and honestly just fun to be around. She made the two months leading up to our wedding actually enjoyable as she took over all of our contracts and coordinated with our vendors to ensure our day would go smoothly, which it did. Every meeting with Zoe was productive, and I felt like she really heard us and took the vision we had for our wedding to heart. I cannot express what a relief it was to show up at our venue and to see almost the entire reception area ready to go - I saw Zoe and her assistant Mollie folding napkins, setting up tables, moving flowers, herding our people, and in general just doing everything that needed to be done to make sure everything was perfect. Honestly, I'm sure I don't even know everything they did because they made it happen so surreptitiously. I was able to fully detach from planning mode and really be present for our wedding, and that's all thanks to Zoe and the team at McArthur. We are so appreciative of everyone at this company, especially Zoe & Mollie, for all of their hard work. You all are truly amazing at what you do!

jority of the wedding planning. However the couple months leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself I was so glad to have Laura as additional help. She’s so organized and knowledgeable with weddings. She had everything sorted out for us in Google Drive which made it so easy for us. She was quick to respond and always prepared to handle anything we threw her way. The day of the wedding she was there for me and so supportive, especially walking up to the ceremony when I was freaking out. Everything went so smoothly so by the time I was at the alter I was able to relax and just enjoy my day. She was there throughout the whole wedding, ready to do whatever was needed to make the day perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better planner and am so glad we had Laura. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone planning their big day.

ce absolutely perfect. The recommendations she made for vendors from food to flowers and everything in between made booking great vendor teams so easy. She is SO detail oriented and I felt 💯 confident going into our day that it would be perfect (or as close as possible). I would highly highly recommend Laura and anyone from her team!!!! She thought if everything and kept me sane. Thanks Laura and McArthur team!

!

c. They made the planning process so easy. Cannot say enough wonderful things!!

enjoyable and took off the burden of coordinating, decorating, and even family management. I so appreciate her warm demeanor and poise during what can be an otherwise stressful experience. Would highly recommend!

ur special day without having to worry about a thing. If she was ever stressed, we never saw it. Literally whenever I hear of a friend/coworker getting engaged, I'm like.. ya gotta call Laura.

of. She took over all vendor communication 2 months before the wedding and MADE. IT. HAPPEN. Laura coordinated a vendor walk through and while I was taking notes of all the “to-dos”, she very gently turned to me and said, “I’ve got it.” My family walked away from the meeting feeling completely at ease knowing that the wedding would be executed by Laura and her team in a flawless way that required no additional stress for us, our families, or our wedding party/guests. If you are thinking about hiring a coordinator/planner for your wedding, we highly recommend Laura and her team. Because of her we got to enjoy every part of our wedding day stress-free. Spend your money here, because we are forever indebted to McArthur Wedding and Events for executing every detail of our day!

planning process, then they set up just enough meetings to help you feel organized and calm before the big day! Then on the day of they help with set up and take-down, and coordination. They were such a big help and my wedding wouldn't have been as amazing as it was without them!

Laura swept in to save the day. She was also a huge help on the day of the wedding, helping us keep it together and allowing us to relax, knowing that she was on top of everything. She is truly a blessing to have on your side during this whole experience! Thank you Laura!

ont planning for our wedding, but did not want ourselves, family or bridal party to be stressed setting up decorations or coordinating vendors the day of the wedding. We hired Laura for day of services, but she goes above and beyond and takes over communication with our vendors a month before the wedding. This is something I didn’t know I needed, but I’m so glad that was part of the package. She helped us create a seamless schedule of events for the day of the wedding and made sure all vendors knew where and when they needed to be which helped everything run so smoothly. Laura is very organized and has an eye for design and I had complete trust in her when I handed over decorations that she saw my vision and was going to make the reception space look beautiful—and that she did! My husbands mom lost the back of her earing before being introduced and Laura took off the back of her earing and gave it to my mother-in-law…seems like such a small thing, but it was such a kind gesture and adds to the many reasons why Laura and her team are amazing!

illy to me (at the time) to have a coordinator for such a small group. As the wedding was getting closer and I was starting feel the pressure, I decided to reach out and ask her if she was available. I quickly realized I was clueless of what a planner/coordinator did, so she niceley informed me :). If you are planning a wedding in Colorado (big or small), go book her now! Laura is fun, kind, organized, and women of many talents. Laura and Zoe did so much that day making sure everything went off without a hitch. We were amazed by Laura and are beyond grateful to have had her there. Thank you Laura and Zoe for making sure we were able to FULLY enjoy our perfect day!

all of the details while simultaneously ensuring my wife and I didn't lift a finger on our wedding day (which says a lot considering our wedding was at our house). On top of it all, she was an absolute blast to work with. She found her calling, and our wedding benefited from that! I will be recommending her to anyone looking for a wedding planner!

m was a help to me in so many ways, and she took such a load off of my plate! My husband often mentioned how thankful he was for her throughout the wedding week and after. She is a gem! You won't be disappointed!!!

did Laura take care of everything from start to finish, she made the wedding planning process so easy. There were so many moving pieces, and she handled it all calmly and gracefully. Laura is organized, prompt, thoughtful, and professional. My husband and I were able to just be present and soak in everything around us all weekend long because of Laura's harmonious and extensive service. She was the glue that held everything together. Looking back, I can't imagine the Wedding process without her. This investment was more important than my husband and I ever began to realize and I am forever thankful we hired her for our big day!
