We LOVED our engagement and wedding photos!!! We even have had family members use him for family pictures after they saw how great he was at our wedding. He was perfect balance of ...
affordable and amazing quality! Were super awkward with posing, but he made pictures so fun and helped us pose naturally. He was great at organizing big families and keeping us on schedule. He even got our pictures back quickly, which was so helpful. We’re so glad we hired him and will definitely use him for any professional pictures in the future!!!!
I reached out to Kevin because I really liked the style of his photography. While he can execute a shot list efficiently (your classic family and bridal party pics) he's amazing at...
capturing moments, finding the light and framing.
I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work with a lot of photographers in my career and I have assembled many shot lists. I knew I was either going to be easy or difficult to work with and the dynamic with our photographer would be important.
Kevin and I were consistently on the same page for the photos - both engagement and wedding. Each time I received photos I was delighted. They have movement and there's a narrative beyond the moment captured. On the day of the wedding I told Kevin I wanted to capture the chaos as much as I wanted to capture the beauty. He delivered.
I would most definitely work with Kevin again - he's a wonderful photographer and storyteller!
Kevin was an absolute dream to work with. He shot our engagement photos and wedding photos, and he knew exactly how to bring our vision to life. We had a destination wedding and he...
was there every step of the way, providing inspiration and making us feel completely relaxed and comfortable. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
Kevin was awesome! He did a phone interview to let me know his personality and his photography style. He was on time and pleasant and he tried to get as many special pictures as he...
could. That was a little challenging at my wedding. Kevin sent me a sneak peek and it was so great that I asked for another now. Lol I can’t wait to see them all. Kevin is an all round great photographer. Thinking about using him for family photos too!
Kevin McBride is amazing... our engagement and wedding photos are perfect and he made us feel so comfortable. HIGHLY recommend.
Book Kevin! We wanted a creative photographer who was trained in photojournalism. Our friends recommended a few local shooters that they had used for their wedding, but we thought...
their portfolio was bland and generic. So we searched on the Knot and found two whose portfolio showed more depth and understanding of light. And because moments are so important to us, we knew Kevin was the right choice. He definitely captured incredible portraits, but what we cherish the most is the moments of our friends and family as they witnessed our day. He is super friendly and patient, and handled a very rowdy wedding party with ease. -Tina S
We found Kevin after searching photographers on the Knot. His portfolio stood out and said a lot about his approach. We could tell he valued moments and storytelling. After talking...
with him, we loved his personality and passion, so it was a no-brainer to book him!
We hired Kevin for our engagement and wedding and couldn't be happier. I'm a graphic designer and my husband is commercial photographer, so the choice of a wedding photographer was...
incredibly important. There are so many photographers to choose from, but once you meet Kevin it becomes clear he is a cut above the rest. He's passionate, enthusiastic, has a great eye, is affordable, and has a lot of experience. I've referred him to all my friends and can't say enough good things!
Let me save you the trouble. If Kevin is available, book him! We loved his portfolio but when he explained to us how important photography was to him and what exactly it is that se...
parates his work from other shooters, it really clicked for us.
What he is best at is making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We had our first set of engagement photos done by another photographer and were really disappointed. They were "nice", but we felt awkward the whole time. When we had Kevin redo them, it was really fun. All three of us laughed the whole time, and he captured so many real moments. As good of a photographer he is, he is also excellent at understanding what makes you tick and how to bring your personality out. I definitely recommend an engagement session before the wedding.
Kevin shot my best friend's wedding in Mexico, so I was able to see him in action and get to know him. Not only did we love his work but his personality really clicked with my fian...
cé as well.
The other photographers we met with had decent photos, but there was not much spark or enthusiasm in their personality. So to find a photographer we BOTH clicked with was huge. His photos are so unique and he makes you feel really comfortable in front of the camera which was a big deal because Thome hates having his pic taken. Definitely glad we chose him.
We found Kevin on the Knot after noticing his eye for catching moments and emotions. After talking with him, it was clear that he was going to be our photographer. He's kind, funny...
, and patient and his portfolio really shows his passion for his job. Thanks, Kevin!
My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Kevin! His pictures are stunning, he made everyone feel very comfortable and he worked with our budget for the big day. He was very professional ...
and easy to work with and perfectly captured our wedding day this past August. His work speaks for itself- I highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking for photography! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer!
When you view a truly great photograph, you witness more than
a moment in time, you actually get to experience the emotion of the moment.
That is what you get with Kevin!

e wedding day. He is incredibly talented and has an eye for natural lighting, making for beautiful photos. He remained true to his documentary and journalistic style, but also gave suggestions on ideas for poses and adorable pictures. I had many guests comment on the fact that he wasn't "in the way" during the ceremony and that they hardly noticed he was there (which was exceptional because we actually had Kevin and one of his colleagues working). They were very professional, but still so fun to spend the day with. They just blended naturally into the wedding, which allowed them to get relaxed and amazing candid shots. I highly recommend to any couples looking for a highly talented, professional, and easy-to-work-with documentary style photographer. 10/10 would book again!
First and foremost Kevin does beautiful work! He captured our day perfectly and we have so many images to choose from.

n for design, light, and artistry. We are so thankful we found Kevin. Not only is his work is incredibly detailed, but his ability to capture moments is truly important and special. He was incredibly kind and patient and made the planning process simple. The best decision we made and the price was well below many photographers with what we considered "generic' work.
I can't say enough good things about my experience with Kevin. We had a few things go haywire with our timeline, and I was completely worried that we would not have time for photo...
s. Kevin remained calm the entire time and assured me that everything we planned in advance would still be possible despite the bridal party hiccup (long story). Instead of having two hours for portraits, we only had 20 minutes and Kevin was able to deliver an incredible amount of beautiful and creative shots in that time while staying completely calm and collected. Thank you so much for your patience and hard work, We will cherish these memories for a lifetime! Nicole and John

the end of our shoots. We used him for both our engagement photos and our wedding. He works like a ninja getting shots from any and all angles you could ever imagine. I found him through a family member who uses him for family photos and I have already recommended him to all of my family and friends that are in the wedding planning process, expecting a baby or just needing family photos. He does great work with kids as well as he has 4 beautiful ones of his own. We will definitely be using him for any and all of our photography needs in the future!

cheesy shots of our hands with the rings or anything like that. he followed suit, and incorporated his own creativity into the entire day. he wasn't afraid to give advice, make us laugh and in the end, the photos spoke for themselves. nothing but high praise from this bride!

nded up doing an engagement session with Kevin as well as it was a great experience to meet him and for him to get to know us a bit better as well. We are both a bit stiff and awkward infant of the camera and Kevin put both of our minds at ease! The day of was no exception! On your wedding day you spend most of your time with your photographer and Kevin made the day so much fun! Kevin and his partner were very professional and listened to each and everyone of our request and kept our wedding party on task and actually ahead of schedule!

credibly talented but he is so fun to work with. He quickly puts you at ease and gives great guidance throughout the shoots! Prior to the wedding day, we provided Kevin with a list of people/places that we wanted photographed and he made sure that everything/everyone on the list was covered! It has been so wonderful sharing our pictures with friends and family and we have received many compliments regarding the quality of the photos! Thanks so much Kevin!

t was like having a friend with us all day vs. a random photographer taking pictures. He was right there with us all day to capture anything and everything requested. He even went above and beyond and kept us on schedule, making sure we moved from one place to the next. His work is amazing and you will not regret booking him for your wedding!

t meant the world! On our wedding day he was a blast. He had awesome location ideas, creativity, and positive energy. Our wedding party and guests raved about how comfortable he made them, we all know pictures can sometimes feel awkward. Then we received picture previews about a month later and were blown away! Our complete CD showed up a few weeks later. We love the quality and color of our photos and are so thankful for all of Kevin's hard work! Talented and kind photographer at a reasonable price!

My husband and I have been blown away by Kevin & his work from the moment we met him. Not only is Kevin a delight to work with, but his work speaks for itself - it's INCREDIBLE. ...
His lighting in his photos & the framing of them is pure perfection. Kevin is a professional and takes his work very seriously. I knew Kevin was our best "vendor" for our wedding when my husband told me "good work finding Kevin" after our 2 hour engagement shoot with him.

utely amazing job capturing each and every moment and even the emotions in each of those moments. I know that my husband and I will never forget anything about our day because of Kevin's ability to capture every emotion in every moment! To me, photos are the biggest element in the BIGGEST day of a woman's life, and Kevin did a fantastic job telling our love story, both during the engagement session and on our wedding day. As if it wasn't clear beforehand, Kevin showed us he really cares about his clients and his photos when he stayed later than scheduled so he could get "party" pictures. Photographers like Kevin are hard to find and I would reccommend him to any bride looking to preserve her wedding day!
