Thank you to McClain’s Mobile DJ for helping make our wedding so special! DJ’s Danny and Damian kept the wedding vibe exactly how we wanted and played all our favorite songs. They showed up in plenty of time to get everything set up, were professional during the ceremony and reception and kept the party going! We had an outdoor Tahoe wedding, so we had some afternoon thunderstorms with some light rain and they were able to stay outside playing music while we danced in the rain. At the end of the night, the rain came back, a little too hard for us to stay outside, so we moved the party inside and Danny and Damian granted my bride wish to play one last song – Alanis Morissette, Ironic – so we could sign “It’s like rain on your wedding day” at the top of our lungs. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Tracy and Cassie so exceeded our expectations for our wedding. They led our guests through some country line dances, they expertly navigated making our ceremony work in the rain, they were so organized and helpful and everything ran so smoothly. The energy they brought to our reception and dancing was so fun, and I enjoyed working with them so much. They even busted out some light sticks during dancing that another wedding had left them behind and it elevated the party to a whole other level. We are so thankful we found them and cannot recommend more highly!

Their website for payment, event planning, and music selections was very simple to operate. About a week before the wedding the DJ from the company who would be working our wedding contacted us and went over everything we had put in on the website. His name was DJ Ward and he was incredible. He went over our event plan and music selections to make sure we got everything we wanted. We were an easy wedding to work with as we left him lots of room to work with and were very free form throughout the event. DJ Ward did an excellent job setting up the officiant with a microphone, he MC'ed the entire event and kept everything on track, everyone loved his humor and he kept a great vibe running throughout the reception. He made sure everyone was fed during dinner and kept the lines to the food in order. We highly recommend McClains mobile DJ, their employee was fantastic and will make your wedding tons of fun.

DJ Spencer is the fun, outgoing, trendy DJ that everyone needs at their wedding! Our communication with him from the beginning was great. We spoke with him on the phone about his style and approach to DJing before booking with him. He convinced us that he was the right DJ for us with his confidence and passion in DJing and his knowledge about the types of songs to play to keep everyone happy and to keep the party fun throughout the entire day! We heard again from the DJ company about a month before the wedding to start filling out a planning worksheet. This worksheet covers every song request (for both the cocktail hour and the reception), and every “do not play” song. It also asks detailed questions about every aspect of the wedding to ensure everything goes according to plan (ceremony songs, announcements to make throughout the day, order of toasts, cake cutting songs, etc.) and asks about the timeline for the day. This ensures the DJ arrives prepared for the day! We had a phone call with DJ Spencer the week of the wedding and told him to play music at the reception that would keep the party fun and keep people on the dance floor. We gave him a guideline of the songs we like, and he delivered! He was able to mix songs and keep it super fun! We had so many compliments from wedding guests over how great the DJ was. My wedding planner always told me that the guests of a wedding remember two things about a wedding: whether or not the food was good, and whether or not they had a great time. The latter was definitely covered because of DJ Spencer!

Tracy and Cassie were amazing, and the McClain's team worked with us over 2 years of postponements to get to our wedding day! They were upbeat and kept the energy alive during our wedding, and everyone on the dance floor when the time came! They were having a blast and you could tell they enjoy the job. We were lucky to have found them!

First I will say that I spent HOURS trying to find a DJ that was going to be perfect for our wedding. We really wanted to have a fun time with our friends and family, and music was a huge part of it. We had DJ Joshua from McClain's Mobile DJ and let me tell you, WHOA! We had such a fun time with all the music that was played. All of the guests even asked who we had because they were so impressed. He really took the time to chat with us and kept us on our timeline, which was extremely appreciated. Can't say enough about how awesome he was, and to use McClain's if you're looking for a DJ!

We hired McClain's way back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, which ended up being postponed until July 2022. They were incredible to work with this whole time and always went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was perfect. DJ Spencer was excellent. Andrew was great the entire night! He was so attentive to anything and everything we wanted and he made the extra effort to come up to us throughout the night to make sure everything was going as we had envisioned. She was a ray of sunshine during those dark days, and did nothing but offer us her support and encouragement to FINALLY have the wedding of our dreams for our daughter last Friday. She went out of her way to plan everything perfectly so that we did not have to worry about a thing on the big day. She was prepared, organized, friendly to all of the guests, funny, and got ALL of our people dancing! What more could we have asked for? Tracy has an energy about her and a true love of people. McClain's Mobile DJ was recommended by Key Events for our destination wedding in South Lake Tahoe. Tracy with McClain's Mobile DJ was very helpful in sending planning forms and plenty of song choices for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, but the forms and song choices were very well organized and easy!! DJ Ensi was the DJ for the wedding. We had a conference call before the wedding to go over final details which was also well organized. I was extremely happy having him as my DJ. DJ Ward did an amazing job walking us through the night and giving us insight on things that had worked well in the past such as the flow of events. Leading up to the wedding, McClain made it simple to set up our song list and set up the schedule of events prior to the wedding. I am so thankful I chose McClain's and requested DJ Ward specifically. The price is also outstanding.

Tracy was amazing she knew just how to work our playlist to insure that our wedding was perfect from start to finish. Tracy did a great job coordinating DJ services for our wedding, and she arranged for Spencer to be our DJ. Spencer was awesome in every way. He kept the whole reception in line with our timeline, announced important moments and played great music. Our guests were dancing from the moment the music started to the time the venue told us to go home! McClain’s provided us ways to pick out music for all important parts of the wedding, and Spencer read the crowd for choosing his own picks to fit us and the crowd. No complaints, and not enough great things to say about our DJ service!

My husband and i got married at Camp Richardson last September. It was such a whirlwind because of the pandemic and the forest fires, but our vendors were the best! They were there for us through it all. If you book Mc Clain’s, do ask for DJ Spencer!! He’s the BEST. He made sure everything went smoothly, he was such a great emcee, the music was awesome, and everyone was dancing all night long! He even brought us some water and appetizers from our cocktail hour while my husband and i were taking our pictures w our photographer. Just an amazing DJ💕

DJ Spencer was amazing and really helped to coordinate our reception. Spencer also helped us overcome some obstacles with our venue and impressed us with his costumer service.
