From booking to the big day, McClain's Mobile DJ was absolutely amazing! Their online system made choosing songs so fun and easy, and their curated suggestion lists were very helpful. Best Mobile DJ! Tracy communicated with us every step of the way and DJ Clinton NAILED the playlist at our wedding. Thank you to McClain’s Mobile DJ for helping make our wedding so special! DJ’s Danny and Damian kept the wedding vibe exactly how we wanted and played all our favorite songs. They showed up in plenty of time to get everything set up, were professional during the ceremony and reception and kept the party going! We had an outdoor Tahoe wedding, so we had some afternoon thunderstorms with some light rain and they were able to stay outside playing music while we danced in the rain. At the end of the night, the rain came back, a little too hard for us to stay outside, so we moved the party inside and Danny and Damian granted my bride wish to play one last song – Alanis Morissette, Ironic – so we could sign “It’s like rain on your wedding day” at the top of our lungs. It was truly the most magical day of our lives! Thank you McClain’s for being a part of it!

I have been working with McClains and all of their DJ's for about 15 years. Being a professional photographer who shoots events and weddings I get to work with a large number of DJ's and music and McClains is one of the best! Its not just about playing a set of music. Its about watching the crowd and dictating what needs to happen to get the party going, slow it down or help move onto the next thing. I know they have a ton of DJ's and they train each one to have a seemless experience no matter who shows up. I value this company so much and I know when they are booked the wedding or event will run perfectly and I can focus on just doing what I do best for my couple. Mcclains was an awesome company to work with! Tracey was very kind, patient, and gave wonderful advice for my big day. She also sent out reminders of when to complete documents and that was very helpful. Our MC's name was Damian and he was fabulous! Also very patient and kind. We spoke about everything the week of the wedding and he took away so much of my stress. The actually wedding day he did a great job of announcing the schedule to my guests and the music was everything my partner, myself, and my guests liked. I cannot say enough how easy and great McLain’s mobile was to work with. Our venue changed about three months before our wedding and they had no problem whatsoever with the change. Tracy was an amazing DJ! She was the party! From the perfect music selections to showing us how to line dance, Tracy made the wedding fun. Guests are still talking about how much fun it was dancing and interacting with Tracy. From the very beginning everything was easy and organized and Tracy made sure we knew deadlines were approaching and what we could do to make things easier. Tracy has been in the wedding circle for quite some time as she had rapport with staff at Valhalla and even offered to help us change out the tables and chairs and gave really good advice to help make things smooth. We hired McClain's for our wedding in July, and Tracy made our entire wedding experience so easy and SO FUN! Her process in advance to get a feel for the music preferences was so helpful, and she completely read the crowd for the vibe/songs to be played throughout the night. We had such an amazing time at our wedding with DJs Spencer and Damian! Our family and friends absolutely LOVED the music and the dance floor was full all night! They were such great emcees and did an amazing job covering music for all different genres for our wedding guests!

We had Spencer and Damien DJ at our Tahoe wedding. They followed our timeline exactly how we wanted it and kept everything organized. They listed to our music taste and e didn’t play one song we didn’t like! Everyone was raving about McClain the entire night and days to follow.

Initially, I was super impressed. Tracy was prompt in communication and helping me upload the songs for our wedding, as I had some issues finding some less known songs. I was excited we chose them. Unfortunately, the event itself and the post event response changed my satisfaction . DJ Danny was friendly; but he appeared a novice. He has lots of potential. He just wasn’t fully able to command/read the room. We never had a mic check, so the lapels and mics weren’t working properly during some of ceremony. He was suppose to dismiss tables for dinner, but he didn’t, so my bridesmaid helped with flow. However, the most disappointing part is their response as we shared our concern. They initially were receptive, but then they talked to venue (which is understandable and vendor relations, we get), but it then shifted blaming the bridesmaid for not following schedule, the venue said he was helpful setting up chairs/tables (which were already set up at 9am but even so, we are paying for DJ service, not set up crew), and it was communicated, “it sounds like you are money hungry couple

We had DJ Andrew for our wedding and he was wonderful! He did what we asked but he also we above and beyond to make sure we had time to eat and drink. He offered to get us our drinks along with our dinner. He brought us water. He helped with organizing photos. He did a great job and we appreciated him so much!

Great experience with McClain's! We worked with Tracy and DJ Joshua and DJ Damien. They went above and beyond helping my Dad set up a surprise song! They were thorough with gathering our information and ensuring we were on the same page! My (now) husband I like all types of music and they played a perfect mix of it all! They were set up on-time, professional and personable! Side note: We had a big snafu at our wedding (no one's fault) and they were able to keep our timeline (and the party!) going. They were flexible and were able to adjust as needed! Would totally recommend McClain's DJ!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Tracy and Cassie so exceeded our expectations for our wedding. They led our guests through some country line dances, they expertly navigated making our ceremony work in the rain, they were so organized and helpful and everything ran so smoothly. The energy they brought to our reception and dancing was so fun, and I enjoyed working with them so much. They even busted out some light sticks during dancing that another wedding had left them behind and it elevated the party to a whole other level. We are so thankful we found them and cannot recommend more highly!
