McCoy Wedding Photography

th before and during our wedding day and I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for gorgeous snapshots of their special day!

t at making even the most camera-shy couple (us!) feel completely comfortable. Neither of us are naturally at ease in front of a camera, but she guided us through every posed shot with such warmth and encouragement that it felt effortless and natural. She truly mastered the elements during our engagement shoot, and on our wedding day, she was a steady, calming presence in the whirlwind of events. Her respectful, easygoing vibe created an environment where we could be fully present, and it shows in every stunning photo and our beautifully captured wedding video. She caught not just the big, emotional moments but also the in-between, candid ones that make our day feel so real and alive every time we look back. If you're looking for a photographer and videographer who is professional, talented, and an absolute joy to work with, we cannot recommend Kay enough. She went above and beyond in every way, and we are forever grateful for the memories she captured so perfectly. We <3 you, Kay! — Cam & Cam

/imagined. Kay was so nice to work with and we felt comfortable right away. During our engagement shoot, she really helped us get comfortable in front of the camera since my husband and I had never had professional photos taken together. She guided us on little movements/poses that photographed beautifully! On wedding day we felt way more prepared. Kay truly captured our day perfectly and there were so many amazing shots that it is difficult to pick a favorite! We absolutely recommend working with McCoy Wedding Photography! Kay, thank you for capturing our day just the way we imagined!! 💗

r photographer, you will not be disappointed!

photos and we are both really shy, but Kay made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and the shots came out better than I could have ever imagined. When it came to our wedding, she went above and beyond to make sure we got the perfect sunset shots. She even helped with a timeline to get those shots and made sure the venue stuck to it. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without her. I am so thankful we found her and couldn’t recommend her enough!

rofessional - very clear about her services & costs, took the time to get to know us, and helped us understand scheduling impacts for the photos we wanted. On our big day and during our engagement shoot Kay made us feel at ease, gave great direction to keep things moving, and made sure we got all the shots requested. She also worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator and other vendors which allowed us to focus on enjoying our wedding day. I was thrilled to see our wedding album when it was finished (and the preview photos which Kay sent just one day after our wedding)! She made sure we had beautifully edited options from every portion of the day to choose from and was there to address any questions I had after our wedding day. I highly recommend Kay for wedding photography and beyond! It is clear she cares deeply about her clients and her craft. I certainly hope to have more sessions with her in the future. Thank you Kay!

ht away and I was sure she who was I wanted to capture mine and my husband’s day. She exceeded everything and more that we wanted AND needed. Her passion, dedication, drive, and love shows in every photo. I am absolutely in love with our photos and have gotten so many compliments from both my bridal party and guests. I even had an unfortunate situation after my wedding and Kay was more than willing to work with us to make our photos as memorable as possible. We are so excited to working with her in the future!

given us a treasure trove of memories. The wedding day felt like a whirlwind, but thanks to your artistry, we can now savor every detail through the amazing photos and the emotional video trailer. Speaking of the trailer, it brought tears to my eyes, capturing the essence of our special day beautifully. We can hardly wait to see the complete video and relive the entire experience. Your attention to detail and the way you blend emotions with the visuals is truly commendable. What sets your team apart is not just your talent but also the genuine care you show for your clients. Spotting you at another wedding a month later, genuinely interested in how things have been since our own wedding, spoke volumes about your commitment and passion for what you do. It's evident that you're not just professionals but individuals who genuinely care about the couples you work with. Working with you and your team, Kay, was an absolute pleasure. Your friendly and approachable demeanor made the entire process enjoyable. It's those personal touches and the effort you put into understanding our vision that made all the difference. Thank you for being such an integral part of our special day and for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend Kay and her team to anyone seeking not just photographers and videographers but true storytellers who capture the heart and soul of every moment. With heartfelt gratitude, Nikki & David Arbanas

reception and had a wonderful experience. After our initial consultation, we decided to book Kay’s largest package to cover the entirety of our event. Kay was efficient, made us feel very comfortable the entire day, and was able to arrange/manage our family members with ease. A couple weeks after our wedding, we received our sneak peaks. We could not have been more content with the photos we received. They were beautiful and captured our day perfectly!

verall just stunning. I’ve received so many compliments on how special and beautiful my photos are. Kay is also so sweet and easy to work with. She gives pointers and suggestions the entire time to help guide you into the right poses and keep you relaxed. She is also very responsive and easy to work with. I am so grateful and so happy with our photos, they are better than I could have ever imagined and such a beautiful memory of our day. Kay’s photos capture the light perfectly and have so much movement which truly sets them apart. 10/10 would recommend !!!

roughout the entire process and even beforehand, Kay was so helpful and a great communicator (I had heard stories about vendors going dark for a while without notice so I was relieved to have such a great experience with Kay). She shot our engagement photos in 2019, our intimate legal wedding ceremony in 2020 and our “I do, redo” ceremony and reception in 2021. My fiancé and I initially felt awkward going into our engagement photos but Kay made us feel so comfortable and kindly guided us through all of it - we ended up with amazing photos time and time again. We had a similar great experience for both ceremonies and the big reception. We loved how sweet, fun yet professional Kay was through it all. Photography is such an important investment and we’re so grateful that we have three amazing galleries that we will cherish forever. Thank you, Kay!!

shoot, I felt as though I had met her before. Her adorably friendly persona made me and my husband feel so comfortable in a sometimes awkward situation (we aren't used to professional photos!). She made us laugh and made the entire experience fun. But most importantly, I TRUSTED HER. She knows what she's doing like a true professional and always has your best interest at heart. I love her sooo much—I hope to use her for future photography occasions and stay in touch. xox

ff, but she made it work and he felt very comfortable. Kay is so good at communicating and responding to which is so helpful when planning a wedding. Something that I will always appreciate was when planning our engagement photos Kay saw it was going to be a gloomy and dark day and reached out to me that morning and offered me other available days to reschedule if I wanted. We met on a later sunnier day and got such pretty pictures. I am so glad she cared enough to make sure we got the perfect pictures.

asure to collaborate with. It is clear to see the care and dedication she puts into her work and into the relationships with her clients. She was a HUGE advocate for us on the day of our wedding to ensure we got photos we wanted when we wanted them. During our time with her, she guided us every step of the way, and made us both feel so comfortable. We will forever be grateful for the beautiful moments Kay captured of our special day. I vividly remember several candid moments during our wedding & ceremony where I thought to myself "I would love to keep a snapshot of this memory forever." When we got our photos back, I was brought to tears of joy, as Kay captured those exact candid moments and they were even more beautiful than I remembered. I will also say, when you get your photos back, they are ALL just so amazing, you are definitely going to have a hard time narrowing down your favorites! I’m so happy we have these beautiful memories to treasure forever and I look forward to working with her again!

akes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our pictures came out amazing - I couldn't have asked for more.

emely important to us and I literally researched and looked up almost every possible option in southern California in my budget range and after looking over Kay's work I knew we had to have her. The moment we posted our engagement pictures I had 6 DMs wanting her contact info because they were that good. And honestly...she could seriously be charging more for the quality you get. We almost didn't get the video because we had heard so much mixed feedback from friends/family on whether it was worth the money or not. Let me tell you, ITS WORTH IT. I've literally watched it ten times in the past month. I'm a little picky when it comes to this stuff and I wanted it to come off professional and classy if that makes sense....and they hit it out of the park. Kay and her team were so great and easy to work with. I also later found out how much she advocated for me on my actual wedding day when she saw things going awry with our venue. THIS is the type of vendor you want, someone thats going to look out for you like a best friend. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. Thanks Kay for capturing the magic of my day :) Link to our video: https://vimeo.com/661279974/d688bf0cea

My wife and I are very shy and have a quiet personality, but she was able to work with us, make us feel comfortable, and allowed us to have fun in the whole process! She definitely brought out the spark and playfulness in us! Not to mention, that she will do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot, if it means kicking out everyone and their mom out of the way to ensure that you feel special and the day it’s about you, you can trust that she will have your back! Her style and her creativity make our pictures come out incredible! Please hire her!

set wedding date but we knew we wanted these pictures in this location. We contacted Kay, and she responded back to us quickly to help get our dream shoot set up. Kay was more than willing to drive the distance for us and throughout the entire process leading up to the day of shoot she was very helpful. She helped me put together my outfits and even showed me where to order the attachment that MADE our photos. She is also the best hype man and will do anything for the shot :). My fiancé and I have nothing but great things to say about Kay. She’s professional, has an incredible sense of urgency, her photos are amazing and most importantly she can make your dreams come true!!!! Kay is the best.

ication with us the entire year before the wedding, making sure everything was going accordingly due to Covid. Her final photos and attention to detail while editing are unmatched. Also, she was super flexible and always thinking of ways to incorporate our fur baby into pictures with us!

hen it came to our engagement photos but we were amazed with how good they came out. Kay made sure to make us feel comfortable and told us exactly what we should do so we didn’t need to worry about anything. Having this engagement session with Kay prior to the wedding made us SO much more relaxed when it came to the wedding day; we knew how great Kay was and it was just one less thing for us to worry about. We ended up being able to have our wedding during the pandemic as scheduled and Kay made sure to reach out and ensure us that she would still be able to do our wedding, which with everything else going on was a much appreciated relief. We highly recommend using Kay for your engagement and/or wedding photos!!

every moment of our special day and put the trust into someone else’s hands (I’m a perfectionist), but I am SO thankful we booked Kay! She took off all the stress on our shoulders, knows what she is doing with her years of experience, and knows what every couple wants! She captured every genuine moment we were hoping for, and so much more! She knows all of the little things too that you might not think about. She got our photos back to us so quickly, and they are SO beautiful! Something we get to cherish forever♥️ If you are looking for a photographer and/or team, Kay is your person!!

Planning a wedding during COVID-19 was no joke and constantly changing my plans. But I can honestly say having Kay by our side was just a relief. I asked her for advice and she gave me the honest truth; I am also not one to show that much affection & on my wedding day she reassured me that it was okay to feel everything I was feeling. Now, about her work and work ethic, it is creative, professional, and authentic. She came well prepared to both our engagement shoot & wedding day. She was also very focused on my wedding day. It ended up being a intimate wedding without a coordinator and she handled the shoot as if she had an assistant helping her. I can go on, but as a bride speaking to another, you will not regret making Kay part of your best day. She will make your moment even more special.

our vision to life. I trusted her and she definitely delivered beautiful photos. I got a lot of compliments from our bridal party saying how nice Kay is. I highly highly recommend her.

s to find a date that worked but Kay was easy to talk to and understanding through this process. She helped everything run smoothly on the day of and we even got sneak peak of the photos the next day! Her editing and attention to detail is great. We couldn’t be happier with our photos. Thank you Kay for truly capturing our day and allowing us to relive the moments through these photos.

a text, call or e-mail. Kay was punctual and very professional working with the other vendors on our wedding day. I would highly recommend Kay as your wedding photographer you will not be disappointed! Thank you again Kay for capturing our special day!

eally difficult. She was so patient with us and was so understanding. When the wedding day came around obviously everything is very overwhelming but she kept me so calm and ensured that we stayed on time with everything. The day after the wedding she already had a few pictures back for me (THIS DOES NOT ALWAYS HAPPEN). Everyone goes through the wedding blues and to be able to see some of our best moments made us so happy. I already referred her to a few of my friends that are getting married because I know they will love her just as much as I did.

ade the entire experience so easy and comfortable. Her personality is amazing! She knows just how to handle any situation, and has a way with people. My friends, family, husband and I were so lucky to have her there on our special day. Our photos for both our engagement session and our wedding were absolutely stunning! I could not have asked for anything better. She is a true artist, and working with her is an absolute joy. If you are looking for a great photographer, McCoy Wedding photography is it. Thank you Kay!

er comfortable and relaxed, even if you’re not used to being in front of a camera! Both the engagement shoot and wedding were both so fun and turned out better than I could have imagined! She’s a total pro and the photos are absolutely gorgeous! A total dream come true! Worth every penny!!

feel so comfortable. During your engagement session, you want a photographer to make you feel good about yourself and she achieves that. And most importantly, on our wedding day she got all the good moments with my husband and family so that we could relive our wedding every time we looked at our photos. I recommend her to anyone and everyone. She’s the real deal! Love you, Kay!!

D our engagement photos. She did her best to make us feel comfortable and made it more of a fun experience and playful rather than just having us pose. It was the perfect combination of a couple “traditional” poses and a good amount of playful/intimate moments she captured. She even went out of her way to contact the venue herself asking if we could have more time to take photos before the wedding for our first look and bridal party pictures which was so nice of her. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for one of the most important moments in our life.

friend. She was great working with, so wonderful getting shots I wouldn’t have even thought of. Overall I couldn’t recommend her more! She did so great with the venue and was super knowledgeable on timing with the sun and how to take advantage of every minute of light! She caught so many special moments, and knew how to direct my rowdy family. I would hire her again 10 times over, you will not regret it!

oments to the portraits, every picture is beautiful! Kay is an amazing photographer and person. My husband and I looked at so many different photographers through searches until someone mentioned to look via Instagram hashtags, that’s when I found Kay. I kept clicking on photos I liked and they all were from her! Once I spoke with her on the phone prior to booking I knew I could not imagine having anyone else be our wedding photographer. She is so easy to communicate with, she has so much experience, and she was available to answer questions I had throughout the entire process, from outfit ideas for the engagement shoot to wedding day timeline. The location for our Bridal party photos she suggested and immediately I could not think of anywhere better. On the day of our engagement session and wedding day she really brought out the beauty in us, made it fun and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She truly goes completely above and beyond. Both her and her second shooter were able to give us insight and advice on the day of to help the day run smooth. She is not only a amazing photographer, she is a wedding pro and can easily help alleviate any nerves you have about your big day. Choosing Kay was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Brides out there looking if you are reading this you really do not have to look any farther Kay will be perfect for you! Thank you Kay so much for making our memories live on through your amazing work!

tion skills during the entire wedding process! We would recommend her to any brides out there! She also takes amazing family pictures, contact her ASAP for your next booking! Thanks for capturing our moments Kay, we appreciate you so much!! Xoxo

she showed us her expertise in photography by helping us plan our wedding timeline according to when the sun would be out and have good lighting. We did our engagement shoot with her as well which was included in our package. I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! Everyone who I’ve showed them to says that they are the best photos they’ve seen because we are candid and she really captured our love for one another. Also, you can tell how detail oriented she is with the editing—it’s not a one size fits all. She spends time on each picture individually making every detail count. Kay is knowledgeable, experienced, and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Don’t wait to book either! There is a reason that she is highly sought after photographer. Thank you Kay!

, we knew we had to book her. She was so easy to talk to, and so knowledgeable about her craft. We instantly felt so much more at ease about the scary wedding process. When we met her for engagement photos, we were very nervous. Neither my fiancé nor I are comfortable in front of the camera. But Kay knew exactly how to coach us and managed to capture the most amazing shots. Within a few hours, we already had some edited images as a sneak peak of the session. Everyone who sees the final portfolio of our session gushes over how incredible they are. She continued to keep in touch throughout the wedding planning process and on the big day itself, she was amazingly professional, efficient, and best of all— kind. She handled our HUGE wedding party with ease, and made sure to get every shot we asked for. Once again, by the next day, we had sneak peek photos. The photos we have received look like they are from a magazine. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my entire life! She is magic with the camera, and her amazing personality is icing on the cake! Hiring her to capture the best day of your life is a no brainer.

have her channel that energy to others on “the big day”. I highly recommend her to any couples out there looking for a smooth, fun, easy experience. Very professional and timely. I love my pictures!

e way that she communicated with us! Our experience with her for engagement photos was wonderful - I’m usually so shy in front of a camera, and she was able to help me being out my best personality in the photos (which turned out so great!), so when the wedding came around I was already comfortable working with her. With each session, she sends out a couple of photos the night of, which is SO appreciated. She’s very professional, inclusive, fun, and just great at her work. I would highly recommend!

is while still making us feel relaxed and comfortable. We hired Kay for our engagement photos as well as for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier. She’s worth every penny and then some. Thanks so much Kay for capturing some incredible moments and for being so much fun to work with. We hope to have an excuse to hire you again soon! - Dillon and Celeste

the best to work with. She is so booked up due to popular demand, and yet still tries very hard to accommodate your schedule and important timelines. If she can't do it herself, then she involves her associate photographer(s) as a great alternate option who will deliver the same levels of consistency and dedication as Kay. She also does the editing herself, and is so prompt with the end results. My husband and I are grateful.

os before, so it was difficult for us to get in the groove of feeling natural or sassy, but Kay makes you feel beautiful, confident and comfortable. There are few reasons why I originally chose Kay, one being her communication. She is so prompt at returning emails, calls, and texts, which is a really big deal to me. She never made me feel like my questions were annoying (which I know they were) or tedious, she helped me decide on an outfit for the engagement shoot and was all around attentive to my questions or concerns. The two other main reasons why I decided to move forward with Kay as our photographer was her rates and her actual photography, I shopped around a lot before making my decision. Her pricing is very reasonable especially for how perfect the quality is. I love how she is so candid with her shots, not just one, two, three smile, she takes shots when you are not looking and those tend to be the best! When we took our engagement portraits, it was cloudy and overcast, but that did not show through in the portraits! I was having a hard time with my wedding schedule, but Kay swooped in and spent over an hour with me on the phone breaking it down and making sure the timeline would be perfect for her to get her shots in. kay also had excellent communication with the DJ so I didn't need to worry about anything on the day of. On the wedding day, Kay arrived early to scope out the area - she ended up choosing a spot that I never would have thought as being a picturesque area, but YUP leave it to Kay because that spot was beautiful! She has such a keen eye for her surroundings. I was so nervous while I was putting on my wedding dress and she did an excellent job at calming me down and making sure I had a good time. During the first look, she took the pictures and then gave my husband and I a few minutes to ourselves, which really meant a lot to me - never making me feel rushed, even though we were on a tight schedule. I am obsessed with her work, she is so creative and takes such unique portraits that really makes us stand out. She is kind, sweet and so much fun!! The portraits she takes are out of this world creative. She genuinely cares about her clients/job! Her portraits speak for themselves, she is AWESOME and I 100% recommend her! Thank you so much Kay!!

ting our pictures taken. Kay made the the entire shoot super fun! Not only is she super responsive, but she is honest. She cares about the quality of work she delivers, and tries her best to give the best suggestions/advice. I loved her so much, that I recommended her to a few of my fiends that are engaged (one of them all ready booked with her-yay!). Kay sent my fiancé and I some sneak peeks right after the engagement shoot, and they all came out beautiful! We can’t wait to see the rest! If you are looking for a great photographer, Kay is your girl. I can’t wait for our wedding day!

modating and knows some awesome locations. The design of her photos are simply breathtaking and one of a kind. I definitely recommend her for all of your photo needs.

results were AMAZING! She came early to the wedding and wasn't intimidated by my rowdy family, she got us all on track and gave us the precious gift of beautiful photos to look back on for years to come. HIRE HER!

is very awkward at taking professional pictures, she sure knows how to make you feel at ease and capture the moment so perfectly! Our engagement pictures came out amazing and I can't wait to see our wedding day pictures! Will deffinatly recommend to any future couples.

figure out what we could all get done photo-wise during the time allotted. After chatting for a little, she eventually threw in an extra hour of photo for free! On top of that, she through in a free engagement shoot for my husband and me (I couldn't afford the engagement shoot). When planning for us to come to Orange County for our shoot (we live in Reno) things got messed up and we weren't able to do the shoot. So, she offered to come fly to Reno on HER DIME for the FREE engagement shoot she offered me. I'm telling you, if you guys want amazing photos, and someone who you can really connect with and feel comfortable with come your big day, choose Kay!!! Thank you for everything, Kay! You captured our big day with so much fun and beauty!
