As a bride without much of a vision, I really appreciated Kenna’s suggestions and guidance on making the space feel warm and celebratory. Everything turned out beautifully!! Mari was the day-of coordinator and she was awesome! We didn’t have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy the party which was exactly what we wanted. We ended up having to last minute move things around due to the rain, but with Kenna and Mari on the case, it really wasn’t a stress at all. And Mari even pushed for us to get the late night DJ outside which was awesome!! Thank you Kenna and Mari for making our day come to life exactly the way we imagined!

I think they are very fairly priced and I truly can’t imagine not having them on our wedding day. Also a huge plus was Mari helping out at the end of the night. None of my guests/family had to handle anything after the wedding day. I cannot recommend McKenna Katherine weddings more! Knowing what I know now I would’ve hired them for full planning services and not just day of haha.

I was nervous trying to plan a wedding in such a short amount of time, but they were always there via text/email/call if we needed to ask any questions. Mari was there the day of with us, and since we were living in VA but getting married in AZ, she let me ship a bunch of boxes to her house ahead of time so it was all there when we arrived which was a HUGE help! She is so so sweet and was super helpful. The rehearsal and the day of went perfectly - I didn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day; example, I forgot to put tips into designated envelopes for vendors and was scrambling right before the ceremony, and she swooped in and took care of everything for us! I even found a pin shoved inside of multiple layers in my dress from the seamstress right before we walked into the reception, and she went as far as to figure out a way to rip it out with her teeth to save the day!! LOL They are so sweet and easy to work with, I would highly recommend Kenna and her team at McKenna Katherine Weddings to anyone looking for some support and guidance while planning your best day ever ❤️❤️

So I left it in their hands and somehow they got 24 tables set and ready, and an outside bar opened in 30 minutes when the wind died down! The night went flawlessly, and my daughter had her dream wedding. The whole team was amazing! I really learned communication is key! McKenna was easy to reach out to if I had concerns or questions, and because of that, my daughter’s wedding day was all we could hope for!

Kenna and her team showed up and set up ALL of my decorations and made our space look wonderful. Mari was my day of coordinator. Mari was the perfect balance of fun/friendly and punctual/organized. Mari was always asking what I needed (even bringing me snacks or water, carrying my train, keeping guests where they should be). In the beginning of wedding planning, I was questioning if I needed a wedding planner. I am incredibly happy that I chose Kenna. The only thing I wish had happened was Kenna and the vendors we’ve come to know & love be able to stay longer to party with us! We are so grateful!

d vendors that could be trusted since I wasn't from AZ. Kenna was SUPER responsive especially considering we were based in the east coast. She helped us find almost all of our remaining vendors (florist, photographer, officiant, signage and rentals) which was super helpful. Some of the vendors were absolutely fantastic such as our signage, rentals and photographer. But, we did have a few problems with others. Kenna wasn't available as our day of coordinator but that was totally fine because she brought in Mari from her team who was absolutely AMAZING! Mari did an awesome job handling the day from managing our families, bridal parties and organizing some of the chaotic moments behind the scenes! For example, my bouquet stained my dress after the ceremony and Mari was literally on her knees helping to get that all cleaned up! We had a lot of compliments from our guests that this was one of the most organized weddings they had ever been to and that was all thanks to Kenna & her team. Overall, we had a positive experience and could not thank her and her team enough!

She was also so kind and enthusiastic throughout the entire process! Kenna helped us book our venue (Stonebridge Manor), photographer (Sarah Jane Photo who was beyond awesome), Bright Rentals (umbrellas, glassware, and dance floor), bridesmaid HMUA (LeBeige), florist (Flora by Haleigh), and amazing signage (LetteredbyMadi). Venue hunting was one of the biggest, most stressful things to me in the beginning, so I've very grateful for her recommending a spot like Stonebridge that fit my vision perfectly! Her photo & signage girls were amazing too! That being said, Stonebridge Manor is a relatively all-inclusive venue where we purchased their premier (middle) tier package. Majority of the wedding day planning and communication happened directly between me and Stonebridge Manor. At times it even made it more difficult having a separate planner because I was having to individually communicate with 1. church + their coordinator 2. Stonebridge + their coordination team 3. MKW. I just wish there had been more communication directly between MKW and my venue so I wasn't so stressed repeating things or finding myself relaying questions/answers between the two. A couple downsides was that there wasn't much budget discussion/guidance throughout the planning, nor was there much proactive outreach or design suggestions/brainstorming. It was almost always me reaching out for help when I felt lost and I would have appreciated some check-ins to keep me on track (I think there was only one which occurred like 9 months into wedding planning). There was a lot of communication in the two weeks/days leading up to the wedding though, which was great as we nailed down last minute details, but it was also stressful being texted for umbrella layout preferences 2 days before the wedding, or being told that I should just coordinate with the florist directly on my needs. With the recommended florist, it was pretty hard to get ahold of her, and I had to use Kenna to nudge her a couple times (which she did so happily and it worked!). One last thing was at the reception, MKW's day of coordinator left without saying goodbye or anything to my husband and I. She also took the bridal suite key from my MOH, didn't give it back, left the venue, and never told anyone where the key was. So Stonebridge had to call her and she evidently had given the key to a random guest (my husband's aunt), that we had to hunt down to get the key and regain access to the bridal suite. Just an unnecessary inconvenience that definitely should have been avoided. Also, I didn't really care, but I received feedback from several guests who felt the day-of coordinator's mini leather shorts and platform heels were not appropriate for a formal wedding day. All in all, our day was so beautiful and McKenna Katherine Weddings certainly contributed to its success! I am so grateful to have had their support and expertise along the way! They know the Phoenix wedding industry SO well and had answers for pretty much everything we needed. Thank you, Kenna, for all your guidance along the way <3

. Kenna was in contact with me to ensure I had ample vendors to pick from (many vendor recommendations we ended up using) and was booking on an efficient timeline. Kenna made herself available for questions and was always kind and professional. As I reflect on our wedding planning, I do want to mention that I did quite a bit of coordinating with the venue manager and probably could have settled with her day of coordination package. However, Kenna is very knowledgeable and knows her business well. About a month prior, I was assigned my day of coordinator, Kaylee, who was very helpful and kept our wedding running on time, which wasn’t an easy feat. We did have two hick-ups on our wedding day, our catered dessert and our florist. I want to emphasize none of these hick-ups were Kenna or Kaylees fault, but I do think this information might be helpful to anyone planning a wedding. Kaylee was able to navigate the desert issue and was able to mediate the situation. But the experience I had with the florist (Flora by Haliegh), who was a Kenna recommendation, was incredibly unresponsive and ended up over promising and underdelivering. By the florist’s omission, many floral details were missing or didn’t look like what we discussed. I had to leverage Kenna a few times to get the florist to respond to me to answer questions and to nail down floral designs. Notable mentions of great recommendations from Kenna did include the DJ, photographer, videographer, venue and venue rentals .
