s again for our larger celebration a couple weekends ago. Communicating with McKenzie is so easy, she is so helpful and she takes BEAUTIFUL pictures! Highly recommend. (She is also just a very kind, lovely person.)

s. McKenzie stood out from the other photographers I interviewed because she really listened to me. I felt assured that she was there for me and that she would do an incredible job. When we cancelled our summer 2020 wedding, McKenzie offered to apply our deposit to another session, which turned out to be our August micro-wedding ceremony followed by portraits of my husband and me. The final photos are stunning and we are so happy with them. In under two weeks we had the digital images to share with our family and friends (and received many compliments). Given the circumstances, I did not expect the “complete” package, but McKenzie followed through with a beautifully boxed set of prints and a thumb drive of the digital images. Working with McKenzie was a pleasure from start to finish. I’m looking forward to working with McKenzie again when we re-schedule our wedding reception.

y about. My husband and I are both photo-shy and she warmed us up instantly during our engagement shoot, so when our wedding arrived it all felt so natural. McKenzie has such a warm presence - she was like our buddy during our wedding day. She captured our wedding so beautifully that I am still in awe every time I look through the photos. It's not just pretty pictures - the personality of us, our day, our guests are so clear in the moments she caught. Her photography and editing style is so beautiful - feeling classic, modern, and organic all at once. Her artistry and creative eye are one of a kind. After the wedding she sent us the sweetest keepsake that we will treasure always, along with our photography. Did I mention she was 8 months pregnant when she shot our wedding and was on her feet all day with a huge smile on her face the whole time? I know this is a lot of gushing - but it's all true! Working with her was definitely one of the highlights of our whole wedding experience.

wedding planning process. She had awesome ideas and even helped us find a great place to get ready/take photos before our ceremony!! She is responsive, super helpful, and kind - exactly the kind of person we wanted around on our wedding day. Honestly, McKenzie was our favorite out of all of the wedding vendors we worked with. We had wedding events on two different days, and McKenzie was amazingly flexible in working with us to customize a photo package to fit our needs. She shot our marriage blessing at a Hindu temple one night, and then our Christian ceremony the next day (with receptions both nights - this woman has stamina!!). My husband and I get such joy from looking back through our wedding weekend photos - McKenzie's work captured all of the emotion, smiles, laughter, and fun in an artistic and timeless style. We're forever grateful to her! Oh, and McKenzie is great with kids, which was super helpful for the shots we wanted to get that had young family members in them!

onths before the wedding. After one minute, we could tell McKenzie was the sweetest, warmest person and she put both of us at ease. Having her photograph our wedding was a no-brainer, and her pricing structure and options are SO reasonable, that we didn't break our budget either. McKenzie was so communicative and organized leading up to the wedding; we met with her at the venue to go through the schedule and shot list (at her suggestion) and talk about ways to make the day go smoothly. She thought of everything and was so easygoing! When it came to our wedding day, McKenzie was able to make everyone smile, feel natural posing for photos, and sneak around taking candids without making people feel self-conscious. She was a total dream and made our wedding day even better than we thought it could be. She knew how to draw us out as we were taking photos with little prompts that made us laugh or elicit loving looks, and we are NOT people who are comfortable in front of a camera. I literally could not believe it when the pictures were edited and ready for us to view within 8 days, and THEY.ARE.STUNNING. McKenzie was able to take a beautiful photo of nearly everyone and everything, and her photos really demonstrate her artistic ability. The lighting, the focus, and the composition of every photo is just amazing; we could not be happier. McKenzie wrote such a sweet blog post featuring our photos as well; it was so fun to see the day through her eyes. McKenzie's ability as a photographer cannot be understated, but it's her personality that made us adore her and made her able to draw out all the natural smiles, loving looks, and real laughs she captured on film. She's so talented, so fun to work with, and was SO totally worth it. She's truly the best.
