Jessica has been baking for over 28 years. What started out as a hobby soon transformed into a career that she became passionate about. In 2016, Jessica launched her own business as a Licensed Ohio Home Bakery. Her wedding cakes are all created using real ingredients. Jessica strives to create custom products to make your custom event even sweeter.
McKiddy Cakes offers custom wedding cake designs to reflect your personality. An initial consultation and tasting session will provide an opportunity to discuss ideas and plan your dream wedding cake. If you're passionate about your event, Jessica wants to be a part of it by creating your one-of-a-kind, fabulous tasting masterpiece.
My name is Jessica McKiddy and I am the owner and baker here at McKiddy Cakes. I have been baking for over 28 years, primarily as a hobby, but decided to turn my passion into a business in June of 2016. It was then that my “something more” was realized and I decided to take a very scary, yet very exciting step towards my future and become a Licensed Ohio Home Bakery. I share my journey with you to let you know just how personal this business is to not only myself, but my family, and to ensure you that we take every order very seriously!

We ordered a small cutting cake along with mini cupcakes, and not only was everything beautifully set up, it was beyond delicious. The display looked stunning and fit our reception perfectly. Guests could not stop raving about how good everything tasted!
One of the sweetest touches was that she left to-go boxes so our family and friends could take extras home, everyone was thrilled. It was such a thoughtful detail and truly appreciated.
I’m also so excited that she offers so much more than wedding cakes because we will absolutely be returning for future events and celebrations. If you’re looking for incredible desserts and someone wonderful to work with, I cannot recommend McKiddy Cakes enough!

She worked seamlessly with our venue to set up and the desserts table was beautiful! The cupcakes were also SO tasty. She also set aside a flavor of each for us to take home, which I thought was so thoughtful since our day was so busy. I woudl highly recommend Mckiddy Cakes for any future events for desserts.

Out of all of the different bakeries we taste tested we felt that hers was the most flavorful and we loved that she used natural ingredients and made her baked goods from scratch.
