McMillen Photography - PA, WV & MD

wedding, Ed arrived early, was always there to capture every shot, and delivered several hundred more photos than we were promised! We also received the photos less than two weeks after the event! The photos were beautiful and perfectly captured the day. Their prices are also very reasonable, and we were happy to also receive an engagement session included in the package. We highly recommend McMillen photography!

. If you're looking for photographers who will go above and beyond to document your special day beautifully, look no further than McMillen Photography. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

y and Travis — captured every special moment throughout the day beautifully, and they were super friendly and helpful! And we got our photos much faster than expected!

arrive, and was super easy to work with! Steve was very friendly, listened to what we wanted and made wonderful suggestions. He even got involved with the crowd on the dance floor! They both made the day run smoothly, and we couldn’t have had the wonderful wedding we did without. Super professional from the beginning!

d so many compliments about the music and the experience. I don't think my husband and I stopped dancing most of the night. My 94 year old great-aunt was on the dance floor until 11p. You need Steve!!!

ping us informed and were very easy to communicate with. Loved them!

uring our search, I turned up McMillen Photography and instantly knew that they were the answer. Their packages were reasonably priced and included a lot and their photographers came highly rated. We were lucky enough to have Ben and Ed as photographers on our big day. Both Ben and Ed were easy to work with, very respectful, and made the day stress free. Kailee in the office was always responsive and the individuals who completed the editing did such an amazing job. We couldn’t have asked for more.

he day of our wedding and he is the definition of an ultimate professional! He kept things moving along so nicely and did not waste any time getting as many shots for us as he could. He was so efficient, but also kept it so fun for us and our families and friends making quick little jokes between shots! His photos are STUNNING and you can just tell he loves what he does. His wife Kailee handles most of the communication for the company, and she is super responsive! I would 10/10 recommend McMillen for your big day!! Thank you so much Ben!

ng! Coming from a couple who does not like to have their picture taken they made us feel comfortable and looking natural in front of the camera! Jen and Ed were great! I would recommend them to anyone!

cerns throughout the whole process. Bailey was our photographer the day of and she was the best! She was super friendly and a very calming person to have around you on a stressful day! Our pictures turned out beautiful and the turn around time on everything with them is very reasonable. My Bridesmaid enjoyed my experience with McMillen so much that she booked them for her wedding this year. 100% recommend!

lessly with the Valley View team. They even gave us a free engagement session which we used for are save the dates. Ben was our main photographer he took all the pictures I was looking for and took us all around the property. He made sure to get the pictures in a timely manner because he knew how busy and excited we were. We got a ton of pictures and even got our pictures back in 3 weeks which is super quick for a summer wedding. You will not be disappointed if you use them!

locations and poses for our photos. We were very happy with the timeline of receiving our photos and they turned out amazing. Thanks for helping make our special day perfect!

I wasn’t sure where she would hang my dress to take pictures of it because the doorways did not have a lip to hang the hanger on, but she figured it out and I would have never thought of it. She made sure to get pictures of the flower girls getting their hair done and got great candids of little moments in between! It is very nice for younger people who have Pinterest boards with ideas of pictures they want captured because there is an option to attach your Pinterest board when you do the questionnaire! Our photographer was Jen, and she made sure that she captured everything we wanted and more!! My husband’s family is huge, I’m talking 50 plus people were in the group photo at the end of the night, and she made sure that we all fit without looking smashed together!! Would HIGHLY recommend for all of their services!!

ish there were 6 stars to rate the quality and experience.

him capturing the most endearing moments through out the night. We are so excited to see the results of his hard work. Also, shout out to Kailee, who kept us informed throughout the whole process!

so affordable, which is huge! We especially appreciated Ben and Ed helping out with things they certainly did not need to, like finding the power outlet for the microphones at the ceremony site. The photos turned out amazing. Ben and Ed were personable, made me feel comfortable --which is not easy because I don't particularly like my photo being taken and I despise being the center of attention-- and were easy to work with. They also took our suggestions on locations to take photos we previously scouted out, even though they required quite a bit of walking up and down hills. I did not even notice the photographers around most of the reception, yet they captured all the right moments. We highly recommend McMillen Photography!

price point. We were thrilled to find that the photography package included no set time limit instead of the 4 to 6 hours that came with similarly priced packages. It also included a second photographer and free engagement session at their studio. Ben, the owner, did an amazing job with our engagement photos and left us feeling confident that we were getting high quality professional photos. On our wedding day, Bailey was our lead photographer and we had Travis as a wonderful bonus. They took nearly 10 hours of photos from getting ready in the morning until the end of the reception. We found both photographers to be friendly and dedicated to getting us pictures that we would treasure. I assume this experience has been shared by many as McMillen Photography is recognized in The Knot's Best of Weddings Hall of Fame.

Ed Hughes was an amazing photographer, listened to our needs, and got incredible shots based on our requests. We highly recommend! Oh - and they're affordable!

after we moved our wedding date due to COVID. We had Ed H and Ed J and are EXTREMELY pleased with them! They showed up early the day of the wedding which I always appreciate. They were both very laid back and casual which I appreciated because neither myself nor my husband are big "picture takers" and they made us feel much more comfortable. They worked to ensure that all the photos we wanted were taken and they also had several ideas themselves for cute photos. We have not gotten the photos back yet but I am sure they are going to be beautiful. Their coordinator, Kailee, was our correspondent and answered all of my e-mails very quickly.

nding. HUGE shout out to Bailey, who was their lead photographer! I actually work in the wedding industry as a coordinator and have worked with many photographers. Bailey was so amazing to work with. She was assertive and kept us on track but was also laid back which put everyone else at ease and helped us to have a fun time while taking pictures. I would highly recommend McMillen to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. We had such a wonderful experience with everyone we delt with on their team. My brother and sister in law are so happy with their photos!

nd raw footage of the wedding we found that they excluded the Groom / Mother dance, Bride / Daughter dance (which took the place of the Bride / Father dance)....When I called Kailee at McMillen I was told that the videographer was still eating and missed the dances. Also, the maid of honor speech was missing 45 second from the middle of the speech and they just spliced the speech together and acted like it was the whole speech. We never received the complete raw video package that we were supposed to receive. Camera work was terrible also. Ceremony was from one spot behind the groomsmen so the whole video you just see the back heads of the groomsmen. At the reception key moments were out of frame because the whole reception was filmed on a tripod and if you moved out of frame you are out of luck. The owner Ben and Kailee do not return any calls or emails. It has been nothing but a headache with them and we feel extremely cheated. Poor Quality, and certainly not professional on any level.

our wedding reception at valley view farm in Waynesburg and she had an incredible vision for the photos. It was about 90 F on our wedding and the heat was absolutely horrible, but Bailey got through the photos quickly and smoothly and I know they will look absolutely beautiful. If you go with McMillen you need to request Bailey! Kam with McMillen was also the videographer for our wedding and he did an awesome job. Highly recommend!

to inform me and let me know of the situation as soon as she knew. They were easy to contact and easy to talk to. Overall I would recommend them over and over again. They were awesome.

n amazing photograph. He is very efficient in getting through all the photo combinations you need and tells you exactly what to do. McMillen Photography is what you need for your wedding!! Don't wait! Book now!Thank you Ben!!!

our digital copies very fast. Everyone at McMillen was very easy to work with. Sara was our lead photographer and did an outstanding job! We would definitely recommend McMillen to other couples!

e to availability, I always got one that fit my style. Kailee is a dream to work with and always gets back to you with any questions you may have. When my big day finally arrived, Jen was my photographer. She fit in PERFECTLY!! She was easy to get along with and was basically part of the family within 20 minutes. She even clowned my husband any time he wouldn’t follow directions. We loved it! Amazing personality! Then as icing on top of the cake, we got our photo proofs in a week. A week. I have never been so happy with a vendor then McMillen photography! Thank you for making my day so wonderful! Highly recommend!!!

cing.

nd very pleased with the online link and flash drive we received! Thanks Ben McMillen!! Our wedding was on Nov 7th 2020......... Eric & Sherry Betz

n’t say enough good things about McMillen Photograhy!

made sure we got the photos we wanted. Good pricing. Especially for having a photographer all day.

ifficult family and was super understanding with any changes that were made last minute. All in all, I’d be so happy to recommend this company (specifically Ed Hughes) to anybody getting married looking for a fun photographer (and a great price).

a great person do our wedding photography! I would HIGHLY recommend her and the rest of the staff at McMillen to anyone. We worked with Ben for our engagement photos and he was great as well.

ay with him! We absolutely LOVED him! He made our wedding day and photos run so smoothly and quickly exactly how we wanted. I would highly recommend him to everyone! Our entire bridal party was absolutely blown away with how wonderful and personable he was! By the end of the wedding I thought more of him as a friend then just a hired photographer! If you choose him I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!

ere very forthcoming about all the different services they offered, but they never once made me feel pressured to utilize their other services. They allowed me to set up a payment plan to pay for their services, which I absolutely loved. Again, it just goes to show their flexibility and willingness to work with their clients. Our photographer was Ed Hughes. If you have the option to choose someone, MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THIS GUY! Not only is he phenomenal at his job, but he is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and make you laugh. He is a character and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. He kept cracking jokes and was very engaging with the entire crowd, not just the bride/groom. He communicated with us through our planning process and let us know if he needed anything from us. I provided him with our ceremony outline, day-of timeline, and a list of photos we wanted on our big day to help communicate with him better. He was quite punctual, even arriving early to set up and photograph the space before focusing on the bride and groom. He knew exactly how to pose us as well as the bridal party and family to get the best shot. Plus, he repeatedly asked if we wanted any other photos throughout the night to make sure we were absolutely satisfied. It was also nice that he showed us the photos periodically to make sure we were happy with them, too. Like I said, McMillen Photography was our dream photography company. They lived up to their reputation. There is a reason they have won so many awards, and we are so excited to get our prints back soon!

at first. We also had our engagement pictures done with them and Ben was awesome. Will use mcmillen photography for anything else we need in the future and will definitely recommend!

. I've gotten so many compliments! I also used DJ and photo booth services through McMillen which I highly recommend! Brett was our DJ and was amazing! He had the perfect mixture of music and the dance floor was packed the entire night. He helped us with last minute timeline changes and adapted quickly so everything ran smooth. Channon ran our photo booth and it was a hit, everyone had a blast and she put together an album with all of the photo strips and had people sign and gave it to us at the end of the night, I'm so glad we decided to do the photo booth!

dding just last week) but every one I have seen so far is Stunning!!!! I would 100% recommend booking these guys for your wedding you will NOT be disappointed!

ares! They were so friendly and professional! They showed how much they care about people and their craft. They were so efficient with their time and captured every moment from our home, outside, at the church and through out the entire reception. The bridge and night time shots were sooooo creative! I hope they had as much fun as we did. I would recommend Travis and Jason for every occasion. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You made our day and captured it so we’ll remember forever! Thank you!!!!! - Michael Bogden
