k another photographer and 3 days before the bridal show they had already booked our date, so we were just browsing. However, my now husband was so thrilled when talking to them. Our pre-consultation lasted well over an hour and they truly want to know about the couple and what they are looking for in their photographs. They truly captured the day, kept us all on schedule and my pictures are to die for. Actually am having trouble picking out which ones I want to get printed because I have so many good ones. I have never had so many people compliment my pictures and I have plenty of married friends that were in my wedding party and stated how great Shawn and Amanda were.

assistants are fantastic. Amanda really works with you to get YOUR vision for YOUR day. She also keeps things together and works with you on your timeline to help keep things rolling for the day. They also give you all the posed shots that you want as well as all of the intimate candids and creative shots that you could ever imagine. They're also so fun and personable. I feel like I definitely made a friend while working with Amanda. I would absolutely hire them over and over again. I will recommend them to everyone that ever asks!

on hall, Occasions Party Centre. They immediately stood out from the rest when I checked out their website, and were quick and easy to work with through our entire wedding planning process. Shawn immediately made us feel comfortable when taking our engagement photos, and explained his process. He is so thorough and attentive to every detail to make you feel and look your very best! Amanda orchestrates all the details and logistics behind the scenes, from scheduling our engagement shoot to going over our wedding day timeline and requested shot list. Shawn captured every moment of our special day PERFECTLY! His style is so vibrant and true to life, and truly makes us feel as if we could step back through our photos into our wedding day. He will go above and beyond to get the best shot, even as we were losing light during our engagement shoot, or taking a precarious position over a frozen creek on our wedding day. Holly was our secondary shooter, and her talents are exceptional as well. She did a wonderful job wrangling my husband and all the groomsmen, and truly captured some amazing shots! Shawn provided an incredible highlight reel of over 180 photos that showcased a taste of each moment of our day two weeks after our wedding. I was shocked by how many photos I got so soon, and the quality was beyond my expectations. My husband and I received all of our wedding photos 3 months after our wedding. Shawn and Amanda hosted us in their home for a special showcase of a slideshow featuring all our photos. The thought and care was astounding. They gifted us special dessert and drinks, and the presentation of our USB with all our photos and the slideshow was exceptional. The USB was presented in a high-quality case to make sure our photos stay safe forever. We got so many compliments on our photos, and I am in love with every single one. I’m not sure how I am going to narrow them down to make my wedding album! I can’t thank Shawn and Amanda enough for their time and talent. They truly captured the most special day of our life, and made every moment of the wedding planning process easy.

hich is a lot of what drew me to their booth at the bridal show, and that’s what we got! Shawn and Amanda were calm and collected despite anything that came up, and interacted with our entire wedding party so well (including our dog!). Our photos turned out beautifully and their presentation of our photos was so professional (and the app feature is wonderful to have)! We highly recommend them!

with us the whole time, and not only were they professional and snapping pictures the whole time, they were a lot of fun to have around for the day too. We've seen some of the sneak peaks and love them. We know we're going to love all the final pictures. On top of the wedding day, our engagement pictures were fantastic. I really wanted snow pictures and Amanda went out of her way to get them for me last minute. What I loved on top of all of this was that it was nice to work with a husband and wife team who not only enjoy working together, but also really love what they do and capturing everything from your wedding day. I highly recommend hiring Shawn and Amanda for your wedding, you'll be in very good hands. It gets hectic on your wedding day, so hire someone willing to worry about the small details for you!

when I saw what they had done for other couples, but what I had not expected was how amazing they were at setting shots up and efficiently posing us for the most natural and creative photos. I normally do not feel comfortable in front of a camera, but honestly, they knew exactly what to say and how to instruct us to make us look like models! Even simple things like how to have your eyes open looking into the sun and how to stand in flattering ways. They knew these awesome tips for us. They put some serious work into editing our photos and even admitted that they “face-swaped” my face from one shot to another so we could have my eyes open in a few different pictures. Above all, they are some of the kindest most genuine people. I am really grateful for everything they did for us. My wife and I are absolutely awestruck and happy with our wedding photos.

We loved their kindness, enthusiasm and love for their work and their couples; they really made us feel like friends throughout the whole process, and even sent a cute little pre-wedding care package in the mail before the wedding. We had a vintage, realistic style in mind with a pop of the “wow” factor; the McNairs have absolutely nailed it, and we can’t wait to see the rest. They were there for us to answer questions and helped shape our timeline so that we would have enough time to take all the photos we wanted and they really made our day feel like it ran smoothly for us. ding beautiful images. They both have slightly different-unique styles (in a good way) and together they give you the best of both worlds! In addition to being awesome photographers, they went above and beyond in terms of what would be expected of them as photographers- they significantly helped the day run smoother and our day would have been much more hectic without them. They kept track of time throughout the day and gave us realistic expectations of what we would be able to get accomplished (we chose to travel to get photos during the day in downtown Cleveland but were married at night in Akron- getting back and forth took coordination, and since the sun sets earlier in October they made sure we started our family portrait photos- which were outside- in enough time). They are also a fantastic team- as a husband and wife they coordinated our first look and kept my fiancé updated (since finishing getting ready took longer than expected and he had to wait a bit). On top of all of that they were so personable and sweet to us, our family and our guests- throughout the day they were showing sneak peak pictures to our parents- our parents really appreciated and commented on how great they were. The whole day they stayed focused- but not so focused that they aren't personable- they truly felt more like friends at our wedding than vendors we hired. Amanda even fluffed the train on my dress before walking down the isle! Amanda and Shawn are the best decision you will make- we love them and I know you will too!

ork with! They made taking photos in three different seasons (including a snow storm) fun and light-hearted. The lighting in every picture is perfect and the colors are phenomenal. I loved how they were so willing to go with my adventurous ideas for pictures and captured some crazy angles, looked like we came out of a wedding magazine! I would HIGHLY recommend these two to everyone and would choose them again in a heartbeat!

the shoot, I am unable to get into contact with the photographer. Finally, 30 minutes prior to our shoot I managed to get a hold of him. Due to some technical issues I hadn't gotten the emails and texts he had sent me, and since he didn't hear back from me he hadn't left his home in time to come to our appointment. With that being said, he did receive an email from me an hour and a half prior to the appointment but because he started shooting other portraits, he didn't see my email until it was too late to make it on time. He also never let me know who between he & his wife would be handling our shoot or that he lived an hour away, which might have been helpful to know ahead of time. I also was not given both of the photographers phone numbers. I only had his wife's number and she apparently was in a different state that day. My fiancé and I wasted time and money in preparing for the shoot not to mention the hour and half round trip only to have the photographer not show up. There are so many other ways that this inconvenienced us, as my fiancé will be out of town the following weekend and now we have to wait two weeks to schedule another shoot (obviously with a different photographer). It just feels like there was a lack in professionalism and the basic expectations between a client and a photographer were missed here.
