Welcome to McPherson Events & Design! I am Denise McPherson, founder of McPherson Events & Design. My passion is curating layered and sophisticated celebrations. My Brides appreciate my ability to execute their unique vision and manage all of the little details so they can enjoy their big day with friends and family. I will personally attend each meeting and am available to work around your busy schedule. My Brides love how I truly listen their desires, am an advocate for them with their vendors, help them bring their wedding dreams to life, and go the extra distance to ensure their wedding is flawless. We offer full-service and partial planning, wedding management, month of coordination, design and styling services. We would love to help make your wedding planning process both reflective of your style and stress-free.

Our wedding was the most magical night of our lives thanks to Denise. There were so many moving parts associated with our event and Denise made sure everything happened with ease. She took so much stress off me and really exceeded our expectations. She is extremely organized, helpful, kind and creative. We appreciate her more than we can say and recommend her to anyone out there!

One of the best decisions we made was having Denise as our Wedding Coordinator for our June 2021 Wedding. When deciding on a Wedding Coordinator, Denise’s experience really set her apart and made us confident Denise was the best. She is wonderful to work with and does all the little things to show she truly cares about making sure your Wedding is your Best Day Ever. As a planner-oriented person myself, I especially appreciated Denise’s attention to detail and strong sense of organization. In the months leading up to our Wedding, Denise would periodically check in with us to make sure that we were staying on target with everything. This was really helpful while trying to navigate the fluctuating Covid restrictions. In the weeks leading up to the Wedding when we were busy with various wedding-related tasks, Denise took care of contacting all of our vendors to streamline all the meticulous coordination for the day of the Wedding. Not only does Denise put together a thorough binder with all of your contracts and notes, but she works with you to provide a comprehensive day of timeline. I found the timeline to be invaluable in letting me know everything was in place so I could truly enjoy my Wedding without having to worry about anything. From the very start and throughout the whole process, we knew we were in good hands with Denise given all of her experience, honest advice, and dedication. Make sure that you enjoy your Wedding planning and that you experience a seamless Wedding Day by having Denise as your Wedding Coordinator!!!

Denise from McPherson Events & Design was just what I needed for my May 2021 wedding. We were planning a wedding in just 7 months, and I knew from the get go I would need a planner to help with vendors and month of wedding preparation. Denise is very professional and detail oriented. We would schedule calls and meetings often, and Denise would have everything planned to a T. She gives you a planner and has updated to-do lists each meeting. I am not detail oriented and needed reminders to get things done, and I was grateful to Denise for doing that! She made me feel very special and even sent a text on our one month anniversary as a married couple. You can tell that Denise loves wedding and helping brides make their wedding day one of the best days. Thank you to Denise and her team at McPherson for everything!!

What an amazing wedding planner! Denise made our daughter's wedding a flawless success. We highly recommend Denise, she is organized, on time, gives great advice and makes your special day stress free. She has been a joy to work with and I would use her again and again! If you have any doubts in using a wedding planner I highly suggest to get one and use Denise, you will never be disappointed!

I cannot say enough about Denise and Megan! I initially did not plan on hiring a coordinator but when trying to figure out who would be in 3 places at one time I realized it couldn’t be my mom or myself! I wanted the rest of my family and friends to enjoy our day as much as possible without designating someone as our “go to person”. I was sooo glad I chose to have the month of coordination package with McPherson events! It made any stress of planning go out the window! The best part is that I didn’t feel as through Denise and Megan were random vendors coordinating my wedding, they felt like family! I could go on and on about why you should choose them but if you sit down with them for a consultation you will be able to see why! I can’t thank you both enough for allowing me to completely enjoy my wedding planning and the day without one worry!

Like so many others have written, I didn't plan to hire a wedding coordinator - but I sure am glad I did. Enter Denise, local planner extraordinaire, who helped manage every element of our big day, from coordinating with vendors to pressing us to make decisions on details we might've overlooked. She also set up & took down everything the day of the wedding itself, & she oversaw flipping the room between our ceremony & reception, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Denise made sure to ask vendors the questions I didn't even know to ask, & she made sure the whole day was executed perfectly. I can't recommend her highly enough!

If I could give Denise one million gold stars, I would. As soon as I met with Denise she instantly became more of a friend than just a wedding planner. I say friend because Denise truly cared about our happiness and making sure that the year was filled with fun and love for EVERYONE that was part of our big day. She one hundred percent had my back throughout the whole process. For an example when I wasn’t totally happy with my first flower trial, Denise got us VIP access to the back flower cooler and was handpicking flowers right by my side. She was able to make my simple wedding dreams come to life. I gave her these words to work with ombre, watercolor, birch wood, pastel and gray. The results were stunning, down to every single detail.

Denise is simply amazing! First, we did not plan on hiring a wedding planner because we had an idea of the wedding events that we all wanted but then we realized we really knew nothing about planing for the biggest event of our daughter's life. We were amazed that Denise could carry our our vision with ease so that we could have a stress free and perfect rehearsal, outdoor wedding and reception. Denise used her abilities to personalize our wedding by completing research, communicating plans, then organizing and fulfilling every detail to exceed our expectations. Denise was a gem to work with. No one has an eye for all the wedding details like Denise.
