When my husband and I were looking for wedding vendors, we wanted to choose people who we felt we would be friends with outside of the wedding planning process. Brian McGuire (McSound Productions) fit that ideal perfectly. From the very first time I met him at the Carolina Inn Bridal Showcase, it was clear to me that he was dedicated to making sure that he make our wedding reception exactly as we wanted it. Planning our wedding with Brian was like planning it with a good friend. Not only did we think he was the perfect DJ, we have received countless compliments from family and friends that he was "the best wedding DJ they have ever seen/heard." For any of your DJ needs, look no further - Brian McGuire is the best.

Brian was fantastic to work with! My husband and I have such a wide interest in music choices and were also extremely picky about what songs we wanted played. At our meetings, Brian got the feel of exactly what we wanted and made it happen! My husband and I were on the dance floor for our entire reception- and so were our families and friends! I would highly recommend Brian as a DJ. He is so easy to get along with and has a great feel for the crowd. Our wedding would not have been the same without him!

Brian is an amazing DJ and his lighting was absolutely beautiful! He's professional but still personable and fun, which was very important to us. Lighting: From our first meeting with him, Brian asked what we were looking for and began coordinating with the event coordinator at our venue. He made lighting suggestions based on the venue and our colors (we didn't have a theme, but I'm sure he would have incorporated that just as well), and then adjusted his plan to fit our budget. When our florist contacted him just a few weeks before the wedding to discuss and further adjust lighting, he did so while sticking to our original budget. The lighting was gorgeous - it truly transformed the room. Music: Many of our guests commented on how great the music selection was. We simply told Brian that we wanted more classic music toward the beginning (Motown, etc.) moving to more current music at the end, and let him take it from there. His music choice was excellent, and everybody had a great time. We appreciated that he didn't have too much commentary, but rather let the music guide our guests' dancing. At the very end of the wedding when he started shutting down, one of our favorite songs still hadn't been played - we asked him if he could play it as he was cleaning everything else up, and he did. Throughout the wedding planning and the event itself, Brian was extremely flexible. He was there for whatever we needed, even if the plan changed (often multiple times). We have no complaints, and would recommend him to anyone planning an upcoming wedding or event!

Music was such an important part of our wedding because my husband loves to dance. We wanted to be sure that we hired a DJ who didn't talk much and could measure what was working for the crowd. Brian did just that. He was a great MC and kept the dance floor packed. Some of my favorite pictures from our wedding were the pictures of people dancing. Thank you Brian for your professionalism and for making our wedding so memorable.

He played all the music I wanted to hear. Everything was on time and flowed very smoothly all because of my fabulous DJ. I would recommend him to everyone with absolutely no hesitation!!

Brian from McSound productions is an amazing vendor. Not only was the music awesome he made the whole process simple and flawless. With his online music forms he made the song selection process simple to use. He's also a really nice person. I can't say enough about his personality, understanding, and caring persona. He knew how weddings worked and was able to "go with the flow" and make our music at the reception really stand out. I would reccommend him 100 times over.

Brian McGuire did our ceremony and reception music, and was great to work with. He came to our house to discuss details, and was very open to whatever songs and order of music we wanted. He is very personable, and did a good job of MC'ing the event without taking it over. You will not regret hiring him for your wedding!

brian is great and really knows how to get the party started and keep it going. you can make your own playlist on a website he makes available to you so you dont have to worry about any songs being played that you don't want to hear. He did a wonderful job giving our ceremony a romantic vibe and also made the reception run smoothly with no worries so that everyone had a great time. he's all about making sure the bride and groom are happy and that everything goes the way they had planned, he didn't miss a beat!

Very professional. Excellent song library and selection during the wedding. Worked with caterer and wedding coordinator well to organize and execute the reception timeline. Highly recommended.
