We met Liz a couple of months before the wedding, and she was kind enough to meet us at a cafe near our home in Brewster. At this time, Liz went through all of the details of the ceremony and reception with us and gave us some great advice for making our day personalized and unique. Liz has such valuable insight, which helped our planning enormously. We communicated with Liz and Steve throughout the coming months, sending song requests and making decisions about the flow of our reception. They were always quick to respond. the right time. Steve was able to create a playlist that encompassed everything that we wanted from a simple list of a few songs that we knew we wanted to hear. The best part of working with Liz and Steve was that we could tell that they wanted to do their best and make sure our big day was special. My MIL had requested that a line from the mother-son dance be removed, Steve was able to edit the song and no one could even tell that it had been edited. We were very impressed with the talent and care that they both took in giving us a special day. Needless to say, we had a great party, and everyone was up and dancing for the majority of the night. We have Liz and Steve to thank for creating a great atmosphere and allowing us to just enjoy the night. I would recommend McVie Productions to anyone and everyone looking for a DJ!

The music turned out awesome and all we had to do was provide a handful of songs and Steve did the rest! They even were able to edit a song for the mother son dance for us. At the wedding the music was awesome, dance floor was full and people had a great time. Liz is very professional and able to roll with anything and deal with whatever is thrown at her (including my idiot groomsmen). Highly recommend them, they're fun, they know how to do their job really well and take care of all the details so you can enjoy the day.

We left the party music decisions to them and people were dancing all night! McVie knows what people want to hear and what they dont, so I didnt have to worry about cheesy music : ) Not only are they great at keeping the dancing going, but they were able to alter and cut down my ceremony music to just what I wanted. I've been at weddings where the DJs mispronounce someone's name that they were announcing and it was awkward. This was not the case with Steve and Liz. They were a huge reason why the wedding was so much fun! I can't wait to book McVie Productions for my wedding!!

ony, so we were focused on that. Liz wanted all this info. they care about the families, helps to sense the crowd. No detail was too small No wedding planner, friends and family came Friday to help cook, hired staff for sat. Everything at same venue, 2 tents, 150 people including wedding party. We thought we had it all together, no, we were a mess, only thought about food, not who needs to be where when etc. Liz came that day and took calm polite not bossy control. Who needed to be where when, worked in synch with photographer and staff to make it all flow seamlessly. So much we did not think of, but Liz knew and made it happen. The bridesmaids had trouble tying the bride into her dress, Liz came in and in no time had it done, bride happy, rare with raging hormones, looked beautiful and then Liz calmly got them all moving as we were running late. 2 large families, large wedding party, must have been like herding cats, but Liz and Steve did it. Friends and family saying "I thought you did not have wedding planner?, she was terrific!" Yes she was but that is what Steve and Liz do. While taking pics Liz made sure we all had water and food so grateful for that. McVie productions work with you to make sure all your music is perfect, entrance, bride coming down, exit, first dances, cake cutting etc. No judging as they picked out different songs then most. Send them a playlist, they will play it, plus add things to keep it moving. Steve kept us all dancing and Liz kept is all flowing perfectly, and quietly in the background. This wedding would have been chaos, probably still waiting for the girls to finish getting ready if not for them. I would hire them again for other daughters wedding if anyone is brave enough to take her. lol. Steve and Liz are the best you could ever have for any event. Teamwork, caring, insightful, and it is not about them as I have seen in other djs. It is about the wedding couple. Very rare and very important

lt like I was sitting with a DJ AND a wedding planner. I really didn't want a "typical" DJ that was cheesy and played "wedding" music. When I met Liz, my fiancé I knew right away her and her husband were a perfect fit. The biggest difference I noticed from other DJ's was she was willing to "run the show". And not just with the reception but also the ceremony. When you have a backyard ceremony there isn't anyone to cue the music, cue the walking down the isle etc. But with McVie productions you have that. After really examining what we wanted for a wedding we decided to elope. I was nervous to email the vendors I had already had contact with but Liz was completely understanding and was happy for us! In the little contact I had with McVie Productions and Liz I would absolutely recommend!

were married on the beach at noon so there were many audio logistics to figure out. Steve & Liz did a superb job. They had all the right equipment so that our guests could hear the rabbi and later they transitioned seamlessly to our luncheon site at a local inn. My husband and I love music so we had a lot of requests as far as the playlists and Steve handled it all beautifully. I even had some songs cued up to a certain point and that's exactly how it played. Ours was the really the best and most fun wedding I have ever been to and it was largely due to great music and sound. You will not be disappointed by this talented duo. worth every penny!

sted 75 songs that we liked and that's what they played during the reception, with the exception of a dance floor request. Also my husband and I had a last minute song request during dinner and they were able to play it, we were so thrilled about that. We received lots of compliments about the music! During the wedding at the Dennis Inn, Liz and Steve did more than just music by coordinating the flow of activities and accommodating our every wish. Steve did a fabulous job of playing great music from the ceremony through the end of the night, meeting all of our requests (and making sure to not play our "do not play list"!), and kept everyone dancing through the end of the night. We have countless pictures of everyone really enjoying themselves on the dance floor! processions, thoughts on buffet vs. plated meals (time wise), schedule for the day, and she was more than happy to let me know what she has seen work and not work as well in other weddings. Any special requests we had were fulfilled and I feel like both Liz and Steve truly cared about making our day perfect. In addition, Liz was so helpful in letting us know what to expect. She would let us know it was time to cut the cake or parent dances or bouquet toss etc. She always seemed to find a time when we were not busy to give us the heads up and let us know. She also worked very well with our caterer and photographer. In regards to the music, Liz and Steve followed our requests for songs and type of music. The dance floor was busy the whole night and they kept the energy going. Liz and Steve do a great job balancing the music and not playing too many fast paced songs in a row, but they also never killed the party with a slow dance when everyone was having a blast. We had guests we have never seen dance dance at our wedding!! I think the music sets the tone for the wedding and Liz and Steve really care about doing a great job, they read the mood, and keep people happy. We are very happy we chose Liz and Steve and highly recommend them for your event!

ct day. Every one had a wonderful time, myself included, and Liz was extremely attentive and organized when it came time for the intros, toasts, ect. I also want to add that they have a top notch sound system. We were perched atop the cliffs at White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth and I needed to do the ceremony from the gazebo. The wireless microphone and sound system they used was loud and clear over the wind and outside ambiance, but not overpowering. Everything about the day was perfect and there is no doubt that McVie Productions was a major part of the reason for that. The bride told me that they also went out of their way to provide her and her new husband with the actual AUDIO from the ceremony itself! WOW!!! I highly recommend them!!!

z & Steve are good at thinking on their toes! When a bridesmaid caught my bouquet and then her BROTHER accidentally caught the garter - Liz suddenly "made it work" and had everyone cracking up! All of the introductions were PERFECT! Hiring Liz & Steve to DJ our wedding was incredible and all of our guests still talk about how great the music was! I WOULD RECOMMEND THEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

During the ceremony, They were around to help with the microphone and speakers. (We had a family friend play the piano, but McVie set everything up.) During the reception, they again were fantastic. They announced everything and took care of little details that we didn't even know about. Liz told us she has no problem telling people what to do. The day of the wedding, this was great. For example, during the dances (our first, father/daughter, mother/groom) she made sure people were not on the dance floor. A little detail, but it was nice to not be bothered by other people. She told us ahead of time that the night would go by quickly. When she told me it was the last song I didn't believe her. Steve and Liz made our wedding day go by smoothly and allowed us to have tons of fun. As far as the music, we had a list of songs we liked and a few we didn't. When we met with Steve ahead of time he got excited about our music selections. He did a great job playing songs from the list as well as others that fit with the flow. He knew how to read the crowd and would play more lively music to get people dancing, then slow it down for a song. He did a great job.
