We are so happy we decided to hire Liz and Steve for our wedding at the Provincetown Inn in August. We thought hiring a day of wedding coordinator was going to be cost prohibitive, and were thrilled when we found Liz and Steve and read their reviews. They were extremely reasonably priced compared to other DJs and one day wedding planners. We planned most of the wedding on our own, but Liz was so helpful to talk through logistics (+ more) when we met with her two months before the wedding. Liz was amazingly helpful in keeping us on time during the ceremony through the very end of the night, which we could not have done on our own! We could not have asked for better songs during our reception — I didn’t want to leave the dance floor because I was worried I would miss a good song! McVie Productions did a fabulous job at our daughter's wedding at Wequassett last spring. They provided excellent music and audio support for the outside ceremony and seamlessly moved inside for the dinner entertainment. I wanted to write a quick little note of appreciation for Liz and Steve. They were amazing before, and during our wedding. Not only were they open to any and all the music that we asked for, Liz took the helm and made sure that everything went smoothly the day of. We choose Liz and Steve as the DJs for our wedding this past May and they were amazing! Liz took control of the wedding reception and made sure we were on schedule. We didn’t have a wedding planner so that was very helpful. She always okayed things with me beforehand (including waiting for the end of the Celtics game before moving the reception on to dancing.)Everyone enjoyed the music and had a great time. Liz and Steve were fabulous from start to finish! We are SO glad they were a part of our day. Liz was absolutely instrumental to our day!! Perfection from start to finish, Liz is easygoing, supportive, and unafraid to give her honest opinion! I can not recommend McVie Productions highly enough. Nothing ruins a wedding like a bad DJ, but with Steve and Liz you’ll get two true professionals who are perfectly suited for their respective roles. Liz is the ultimate emcee. Poised and unflappable, she is meticulous in ensuring that all names are pronounced correctly, order of events are agreed upon and adhered to, and that nothing in your wedding goes off in any way other than the way you intend it. To her ultimate credit, Liz actually sustained an injury in-between our ceremony and reception at the fault of another of our vendors, and my wife and I didn’t even find out about it until a few days after our wedding. Talk about professional discretion and dedication to the mission! I can say with love that Steve is the quintessential “Music Nerd”. In his role of overseeing the curation and execution of the day’s playlist, he is truly in his element. He was able to take our specifically requested songs, and select the perfect companion pieces to pair with them, building a musical tapestry we couldn’t have possibly imagined. No song choice is too obscure, and no transition is too quick for him not to pull it off perfectly. As the more “behind the scenes” half of this dynamic duo, he provides a rock solid foundation on which your special day can be built. McVie Productions executed my wife’s sister’s wedding a few years before ours, and after seeing first hand the kind of product they put forth, when it came time to book our own wedding vendors there was no hesitation on who to call. I urge you not to hesitate either, and to make the same call. The results will be fantastic.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with this dynamic duo! We got married 10/6/18 and we hired Liz and Steve for their wedding coordination and DJ services. Liz was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She is open, kind, honest, fun, and communicative. I am the type who plans, organizes, controls, and desires everything to be perfect and go smooth. Liz did exactly that! She took the reins and the whole night was flawless! Our families are not the easiest to manage and she handled them without skipping a beat. Liz and Steve did an amazing job coordinating our wedding day. Liz was so organized and really made the entire ceremony and and reception flow so nicely. We got married on the beach and held our reception at The Sea View. Liz and Steve were able to provide us with all of the equipment we needed in order to have music and a microphone so our guests could hear us ! The music at the reception was so perfect and versatile that every guest was on the dance floor from the first to last song. Liz and Steve were our DJs for our wedding on 9/9, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. They did an excellent job mixing English, Portuguese, and Spanish music for our guests and kept everyone dancing all night! What a wedding! My husband and I had the luxury of going to back to back weddings with McVie Productions as the entertainment! They kept the dance floor full the entire night, even before dinner! I can't say enough good things about Liz and Steve. They were so amazing to work with, we couldn't be happier with the job that they did. Liz did a great job coordinating with the venue and making sure that everyone was in the right place at the right time. Steve was able to create a playlist that encompassed everything that we wanted from a simple list of a few songs that we knew we wanted to hear. The best part of working with Liz and Steve was that we could tell that they wanted to do their best and make sure our big day was special. My MIL had requested that a line from the mother-son dance be removed, Steve was able to edit the song and no one could even tell that it had been edited. We were very impressed with the talent and care that they both took in giving us a special day. Needless to say, we had a great party, and everyone was up and dancing for the majority of the night. We have Liz and Steve to thank for creating a great atmosphere and allowing us to just enjoy the night. I would recommend McVie Productions to anyone and everyone looking for a DJ!

Liz and Steve were a pleasure to work with. Early on we had received a recommendation from friends who attended a wedding they did and it really paid off. Liz sat with us and helped us plan the entire day from start to finish. Liz was great at making suggestions to compliment our ideas and never tried to push us away from what we wanted. The music turned out awesome and all we had to do was provide a handful of songs and Steve did the rest! They even were able to edit a song for the mother son dance for us. At the wedding the music was awesome, dance floor was full and people had a great time. Liz is very professional and able to roll with anything and deal with whatever is thrown at her (including my idiot groomsmen). Highly recommend them, they're fun, they know how to do their job really well and take care of all the details so you can enjoy the day.

I cant say enough about how amazing McVie Productions is! They seriously made my wedding day perfect. Liz was great at making sure all my needs were met and that my music was just right. My husband and I were making changes to our music up until the day before, and they were more than flexible. On the day of, Liz was organized, friendly and easy to work with. She was always there when we needed her. We left the party music decisions to them and people were dancing all night! McVie knows what people want to hear and what they dont, so I didnt have to worry about cheesy music : ) Not only are they great at keeping the dancing going, but they were able to alter and cut down my ceremony music to just what I wanted. Liz and Steve were nothing but professional and amazing! Ben and I got married during a rain storm where stress levels were high with plans constantly changing due to the weather. Having Liz as our the coordinator for day was the best decision we made. She stayed calm and always had the answer. Steve's music was a huge hit, dancing although started sooner then expected, was perfect. The floor was packed until the last song. By far the best team and most organized. Liz & McVie Productions recently performed at my mother's 60th birthday celebration... It was a combination of live singing (Liz is AMAZING!!!) and DJ play. She even let one of my mother's longtime friends (who is also a performer) get on the mic for a few songs! I've known Steve for about 5 years now and I would not have trusted anyone else but him and Liz for our wedding. To say they were amazing would be an understatement. It was so fun to be a guest at a wedding with Steve and Liz! As a guest, I thought they had an awesome playlist and they got the crowd up and dancing. I can tell they take a lot of pride in their work and that they spent time preparing for this wedding. There were some tricky names in the bridal party and they said them exactly correct! I've been at weddings where the DJs mispronounce someone's name that they were announcing and it was awkward. This was not the case with Steve and Liz. They were a huge reason why the wedding was so much fun! I can't wait to book McVie Productions for my wedding!!

Steve and Liz, words fail me. Awesome, professional, personal, caring, invested a true team that anyone would be crazy not to hire. Quick background, bride was pregnant, her only living grandparent released from hospital 2 hours before ceremony, so we were focused on that. Liz wanted all this info. they care about the families, helps to sense the crowd. No detail was too small No wedding planner, friends and family came Friday to help cook, hired staff for sat. Everything at same venue, 2 tents, 150 people including wedding party. We thought we had it all together, no, we were a mess, only thought about food, not who needs to be where when etc. Liz came that day and took calm polite not bossy control. Who needed to be where when, worked in synch with photographer and staff to make it all flow seamlessly. So much we did not think of, but Liz knew and made it happen. The bridesmaids had trouble tying the bride into her dress, Liz came in and in no time had it done, bride happy, rare with raging hormones, looked beautiful and then Liz calmly got them all moving as we were running late. 2 large families, large wedding party, must have been like herding cats, but Liz and Steve did it. Friends and family saying "I thought you did not have wedding planner?, she was terrific!" Yes she was but that is what Steve and Liz do. While taking pics Liz made sure we all had water and food so grateful for that. McVie productions work with you to make sure all your music is perfect, entrance, bride coming down, exit, first dances, cake cutting etc. No judging as they picked out different songs then most. Send them a playlist, they will play it, plus add things to keep it moving. Steve kept us all dancing and Liz kept is all flowing perfectly, and quietly in the background. This wedding would have been chaos, probably still waiting for the girls to finish getting ready if not for them. I would hire them again for other daughters wedding if anyone is brave enough to take her. lol. Steve and Liz are the best you could ever have for any event. Teamwork, caring, insightful, and it is not about them as I have seen in other djs. It is about the wedding couple. Very rare and very important

We had Liz & Steve at our 50th wedding anniversary celebration at the Orleans Inn on September 17, 2016. They made our celebration incredibly fabulous. When we originally started planning a backyard cape wedding we had reached out to Liz and her husband to DJ our wedding. She was very fast to respond and willing to meet with us to get to know each other. She even met us a coffee shop and it felt like I was sitting with a DJ AND a wedding planner. I really didn't want a "typical" DJ that was cheesy and played "wedding" music. When I met Liz, my fiancé I knew right away her and her husband were a perfect fit. The biggest difference I noticed from other DJ's was she was willing to "run the show". And not just with the reception but also the ceremony. When you have a backyard ceremony there isn't anyone to cue the music, cue the walking down the isle etc. But with McVie productions you have that. After really examining what we wanted for a wedding we decided to elope. I was nervous to email the vendors I had already had contact with but Liz was completely understanding and was happy for us! In the little contact I had with McVie Productions and Liz I would absolutely recommend!

I was even told she helped pin the corsage on my now husband's 97 year old grandmother and made sure she had her seat before the ceremony...amazing! We were married at the Sea View on September 5th, 2015. I can't say how fortunate we were to have Liz and Steve as our DJ for our wedding. As everyone knows when searching for a DJ the main goal is to find one with great music and entertainment to keep your guests entertained and dancing the whole wedding. Liz and Steve knocked it out of the park!! Literally from the first song to the last our guests were dancing. We actually were married on the beach across from the Sea View and Liz helped set up and organized the whole thing. She truly was our wedding coordinator that day it was absolutely perfect!! Liz and Steve work so flawless together you can just tell how passionate they are and how much they care. If you are looking for a DJ that you and your guests will never forget Liz and Steve are the team to hire. Thank you guys for helping make our wedding truly special for us and our guests.

McVie productions did a fantastic job at our wedding! Liz was my main point of contact and she was awesome to work with. she's very organized and on top of all the details. She even came to our venue a week before to check out the situation. We were married on the beach at noon so there were many audio logistics to figure out. Steve & Liz did a superb job. They had all the right equipment so that our guests could hear the rabbi and later they transitioned seamlessly to our luncheon site at a local inn. My husband and I love music so we had a lot of requests as far as the playlists and Steve handled it all beautifully. I even had some songs cued up to a certain point and that's exactly how it played. Ours was the really the best and most fun wedding I have ever been to and it was largely due to great music and sound. You will not be disappointed by this talented duo. worth every penny!

My husband and I had such a great experience working with Liz and Steve! They were very helpful and friendly during the planning phase, the pre wedding paperwork was thorough and straightforward. There was a "play" and "do not play" list, we listed 75 songs that we liked and that's what they played during the reception, with the exception of a dance floor request. Also my husband and I had a last minute song request during dinner and they were able to play it, we were so thrilled about that. We received lots of compliments about the music! Liz was very professional and a great MC during the reception. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience! We would highly recommend McVie Productions!

So much more than a DJ. The best and I couldn't imagine doing it without them. They had so many great ideas and knew what was going on. All the small stuff we didn't think of they brought up solutions. From coordinating withe caterer and setting us up with a timeline I can't even imagine trying to do it alone now.

We are a west coast couple who relied on reviews and long-distance communication to select and coordinate with vendors for our Cape Cod wedding, and Liz went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect! She was great with providing quick responses to our questions and requests, which was a great stress relief to have a major part of the wedding so easy to coordinate! During the wedding at the Dennis Inn, Liz and Steve did more than just music by coordinating the flow of activities and accommodating our every wish. Steve did a fabulous job of playing great music from the ceremony through the end of the night, meeting all of our requests (and making sure to not play our "do not play list"!), and kept everyone dancing through the end of the night. McVie Productions was a great DJ service that helps so much more than just playing the music. They helped with every step of the wedding process and also provided some great ideas for our reception. They played all our favorite music and we got so many compliments on the playlist! I highly recommend them for your wedding!

I recently used Liz and Steve as the DJ's for our wedding and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Not only did Liz help with aspects of our music, but she also helped with other non-music related wedding questions we had. For example, help with processions, thoughts on buffet vs. plated meals (time wise), schedule for the day, and she was more than happy to let me know what she has seen work and not work as well in other weddings. Any special requests we had were fulfilled and I feel like both Liz and Steve truly cared about making our day perfect. In addition, Liz was so helpful in letting us know what to expect. She would let us know it was time to cut the cake or parent dances or bouquet toss etc. She always seemed to find a time when we were not busy to give us the heads up and let us know. She also worked very well with our caterer and photographer. In regards to the music, Liz and Steve followed our requests for songs and type of music. The dance floor was busy the whole night and they kept the energy going. Liz and Steve do a great job balancing the music and not playing too many fast paced songs in a row, but they also never killed the party with a slow dance when everyone was having a blast. We had guests we have never seen dance dance at our wedding!! I think the music sets the tone for the wedding and Liz and Steve really care about doing a great job, they read the mood, and keep people happy. We are very happy we chose Liz and Steve and highly recommend them for your event!

I was lucky enough to have both Liz & Steve at my son's wedding. I don't know what I would have done without these 2 experienced professionals!!! Steve ran the sounds system flawlessly outside for the ceremony and inside for all the special dances! Then, the crowd was on their feet and didn't sit all night! Liz was our Wedding Detail Coordinator all day and night. She kept the show organized and running in the right direction in the most elegant and tactful manner. Ceremony, pictures and buffet line all ran impeccably due to her guidance. Unless this is your 4th or 5th wedding ;) and you know the drill, I would heartily recommend securing the services of these experienced and caring professionals. There is not a situation they haven't already encountered and solved!

McVie Productions provided the music for our wedding in September 2012, and every element of the evening was flawless. Liz and Steve are a dynamic husband and wife team. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding over the summer. McVie Productions went above and beyond anything I have experienced at other weddings. They were flexible and accommodating to meet the requests of the bride and groom to set up equipment at a lighthouse during the ceremony without an easy power source. During that time, Liz naturally took on the role as coordinator and was able to smooth out any last minute concerns within the wedding party. At the ceremony, Liz calmly and confidently coordinated the formalities. Steve arranged a fantastic selection of music that had multiple generations on the dance floor. Overall, the quality of the services that McVie productions provided at this wedding was outstanding. Steve and Liz are naturals at their job and it is evident to guests as well! I was the Officiant of a wedding McVie Productions did the music for and I must say that they did a STELLAR job. Liz and Steve are professionals who take great care and time to provide the perfect soundtrack to what should be, and was, a perfect day. Every one had a wonderful time, myself included, and Liz was extremely attentive and organized when it came time for the intros, toasts, ect. I also want to add that they have a top notch sound system. We were perched atop the cliffs at White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth and I needed to do the ceremony from the gazebo. The wireless microphone and sound system they used was loud and clear over the wind and outside ambiance, but not overpowering. Everything about the day was perfect and there is no doubt that McVie Productions was a major part of the reason for that. The bride told me that they also went out of their way to provide her and her new husband with the actual AUDIO from the ceremony itself! WOW!!! I highly recommend them!!!

I can't say enough about McVie Productions. Liz was wonderful to work with during the time leading up to the wedding. She and Steve took great care to ensure everything was perfect. They made sure they had every song on our request list and nailed down every detail. I seriously could not be happier with how things went. People raved about the music and danced until the last song was played. They even accommodated additional guest requests. The price was extremely reasonable for the quality and perfect service they provided. We had our ceremony outside and they added a second setup. Everything was done exactly as I asked, so that when I walked down the aisle it was perfectly timed to the song I wanted. You will not be disappointed with McVie Productions. :0)

Music makes the world go round and McVie Productions had everyone dancing for the entire time. The music was well modulated and allowed people to talk as well as well as dance. They are extremely professional and allow the entire focus to be on the wedding party and guests. The transition from outside service to inside party was seamless. We would love to do it again.

I have been to many weddings on Cape Cod and when I got engaged there was no other choice but McVie Productions. Steve and Liz do a wonderful job. They are professional, detail-oriented and always prepared. After booking we were emailed a detailed packet to complete. On the wedding day there were no surprises, everything was perfect and our guests are still talking about what a great job the DJ's did.

Liz and Steve are an amazing team, and I cannot recommend them enough. They did our ceremony and reception, and everything went smoothly. When I first spoke to Liz I knew right away that I could trust them and they got our vibe. Liz was great about communicating with everyone: vendors, family, etc. and made sure we stayed on track and people knew where they needed to be/what was coming next. Steve's music selection was right on-it was a great mix of what we asked for and his own picks. The dance floor stayed packed. You can tell that they've been in the business for a long time-they make their jobs look easy!

My wedding was last week at the Beach Club in Centerville. Steve McVie(McVie Productions) was my DJ and he did a fantastic job! My father's only request was that the dance floor was crowded the whole night and it was! Liz and Steve made sure that the music I chose was played and were a big help during my wedding festivities. I would highly recommend them both as a DJ and would definitely use them again. Very professional and thorough. Thanks to both of them for making my wedding a blast!

Steve and Liz are two of the most professional (and FABULOUS!) vendors we hired for our recent October '13 wedding. They bring a level of professionalism, fun, and wonderful editing/sound equipment! They had everyone dancing right away and Liz & Steve are good at thinking on their toes! When a bridesmaid caught my bouquet and then her BROTHER accidentally caught the garter - Liz suddenly "made it work" and had everyone cracking up! All of the introductions were PERFECT! Hiring Liz & Steve to DJ our wedding was incredible and all of our guests still talk about how great the music was! I WOULD RECOMMEND THEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

Highly recommend this team. They went above and beyond even though Liz became a new first time mom- all my emails and calls were immediately answered and any questions I had were taken care of. Perfect DJ- would tell any bride to rest easy with them!

Steve was a great DJ and we paid extra for his wife who will organize the reception almost as a wedding planner, in that she made everything run smoothly and on time...Definitely worth the extra money. They were great and even sent us a cd of all our music from ceremony to reception. They also helped us with song/music ideas for during the ceremony. Would highly recommend them

Hiring Steve and Liz of McVie Productions was one of the best choices I've made for my wedding. First off, they were super helpful and friendly when we were in planning mode, and never yelled at me for picking a million songs I wanted to hear. Second, Liz kept track of everything, and even pushed me to eat dinner, which I was so grateful for. Finally, they ran the show like pros. I was so grateful to both of them for their professional input and guidance. They ROCK and I would recommend them for any wedding.

I recently used McVie Productions for my May 2012 wedding. I decided to use Steve & Liz after they DJ'd a family member's wedding a few years prior. They did not disappoint! All of my guests - of all ages - said how much they enjoyed the music. From cocktails, dinner to dancing later in the night, everyone said how wonderful the music was. Everyone was dancing all night! Liz & Steve were so professional and affordable! At the end of the night, they gave my husband and I a CD with songs from our reception, we listen to it all the time in the car. Steve and Liz were wonderful! They are a husband and wife who work together to plan and DJ weddings. We met with the before the wedding and Liz was super helpful with the logistics. We had her help with the ceremony which was nice since we were not having it in a church. She told us the order of things and helped us figure out all of the little details. It was so nice to have Liz around to help with the planning piece. During the ceremony, They were around to help with the microphone and speakers. (We had a family friend play the piano, but McVie set everything up.) During the reception, they again were fantastic. They announced everything and took care of little details that we didn't even know about. Liz told us she has no problem telling people what to do. The day of the wedding, this was great. For example, during the dances (our first, father/daughter, mother/groom) she made sure people were not on the dance floor. A little detail, but it was nice to not be bothered by other people. She told us ahead of time that the night would go by quickly. When she told me it was the last song I didn't believe her. Steve and Liz made our wedding day go by smoothly and allowed us to have tons of fun. As far as the music, we had a list of songs we liked and a few we didn't. When we met with Steve ahead of time he got excited about our music selections. He did a great job playing songs from the list as well as others that fit with the flow. He knew how to read the crowd and would play more lively music to get people dancing, then slow it down for a song. He did a great job.

What a terrific pair! Liz was incredibly helpful with everything from our wedding rehearsal to making sure we cut our cake! They played all of our choices and were so accommodating. We highly recommend McVie Productions. Steve and Liz are professionals who know how to have fun!

In looking for a DJ, we wanted professionalism, skill and someone who listened to and respected our requests and needs. Liz and Steve did an amazing job at our wedding on the cape! I am still hearing about how great of a job they did from friends and family. Being from Connecticut and trying to plan a wedding in Cape Cod was a challenge, but they did an amazing job helping with the planning.
