About this vendor
Hello! Congratulations on your engagement!!!
MDB Photography is a wedding photography business booking in Savannah, Georgia and worldwide. We capture those raw emotions throughout your special day to create images that become family heirlooms.
We take pride in becoming friends with our couples. You are not just another wedding booked or just another couple. You are our friends. There’s a lot that goes into planning a wedding whether it’s a small backyard wedding or a grand wedding at a historic mansion. Throughout planning, we meet and chat with our couples so frequently that by the time their wedding comes around, our couples don’t have a stranger photographing their wedding, it's a close friend.
Over the past 10 years, MDBP has documented love stories in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Alabama, New Jersey, New York, Georgia and South Carolina. Creating timeless and bespoke photos that can serve as lasting memories of your special day.
Our style is very documentary all throughout your day. Whether you are putting your jewelry on, giggling with your bridesmaids, crying with your mom or loving on your new husband during your first dance. We capture who you truly are and the raw, authentic moments.
I would love to grab coffee, sweet tea or a glass of wine so you can introduce me to your soul mate, we can get to know each other and we can talk details about the next milestone of your love story.

If you are even thinking about booking Morgan Powell, stop scrolling and just do it. They are not just wedding photographers. They are the secret weapon you do not realize you need...
until the day actually happens.
From the very first interaction, Morgan made me feel calm, confident, and completely taken care of. She has that rare mix of insane talent and emotional intelligence. She understands weddings, she understands people, and she knows exactly how to capture moments that feel real and beautiful, not stiff, forced, or overly posed.
On the wedding day, taking photos was honestly the smallest part of what she did. Morgan was a wedding planner, therapist, hype woman, timekeeper, problem solver, and yes, even a meteorologist when the weather decided to test us. She anticipated things before they became problems, kept everything moving without stress, and grounded me the second nerves kicked in. Morgan and Josh somehow managed to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time, fully present but never in the way.
And the photos are unreal. Truly jaw dropping. Editorial, magazine level, the kind of photos you expect to see published and they actually were. Photos from our wedding ended up being featured in a wedding blog, which says everything about the level of work she delivers. Every single image tells a story, from the big emotional moments to the quiet in between ones you did not even realize were happening. Looking at our gallery instantly brings me back to exactly how the day felt, which is something you cannot put a price on.
If you want photos that feel elevated but still real, and you want a photographer who will actually take care of you from start to finish, Morgan Powell is the move. Booking her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and I would choose her again a thousand times over.
Do not hesitate. Do not overthink it. If she is available, book her.

Morgan made me feel. My favorite part of my experience with Morgan was that we had the opportunity to "interview" eachother to make sure we were a great match, she was more interested in our compatibility and vision then in simply taking money. My photos are SPECTACULAR and I could not enjoy them more than I do. THANK YOU MORGAN for your photography skills and your people skills!!

y didn't know what I wanted or should be looking for. When I came across Morgan I was just happy to see a young face that would understand what I was asking for and would understand me as well. What I gained by choosing Morgan was her extensive skill & expertise that made the wedding photography a breeze. She came with the connections to get a second photographer and gave me every photo I could have asked for despite that I had no idea what to ask for. We had an evening wedding and the photos she did for us turned out beautifully.
Finally. if you're a dummy like me, she has TON of wedding photo examples on her website under "blog". (Took me a while to figure out where to see her work.)
Morgan is great! She brings a great attitude and all I can remember from her from the wedding is yelling "Kiss her again!! Why not?!" She edited our photos magnificently, captured candids, wrangled my family for a photo, and even got my bad-at-smiling husband to give some good looks.
