The Meadow Brook Inn is a boutique wedding venue located in Charlestown, RI. Built in the early 1900s, this historic property is an enchanting location that has welcomed couples through its doors for more than a century.
Ceremonies at The Meadow Brook Inn are held in the secret garden, where lovebirds can tie the knot underneath the dappled shade of the trees. In this intimate setting, 160 guests can gather to witness the momentous occasion while a serene brook babbles away in the background. Afterwards, newlyweds and their loved ones will make their way to the Lawn for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and lawn games. Receptions are hosted in the 160 guest-capacity ballroom. This grand hall features dentil molding, sparkling chandeliers, crystal wall sconces, and bay windows that bathe the chicly minimalist color palette in natural light. For smaller celebrations of up to 50, the Lounge provides an atmospheric setting with its red brick walls and long bar. Ahead of the festivities, The Bride’s Changing Room can be utilized for getting ready and taking pictures and comes with a vanity, mirrors, and mimosas.
Rental of The Meadow Brook Inn includes products and services such as tables and chairs, linens, china, flatware, glassware, and an event coordinator. nd let us bring things early and set up. We had our wedding on May 4th, 2025 and while it was supposed to rain, Marisa and Gabe assured me and my husband that everything could be moved inside if necessary. Luckily the weather held out and we were able to have our ceremony outside. The food was AMAZING from the soup and salad to the main entrees and the popcorn late snack. Brian and the rest of the waitstaff were phenomenal. Brian especially helped make sure I was calm and talked me through everything as it happened. He really went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I ate (even during pictures) and had everything we needed. At the end of the day, I could not imagined having my wedding anywhere else and I HIGHLY recommend them for weddings. They make everything easy and made the whole process simple for me and my family.

I am a photographer and every time I’m there, I’m overwhelmed by the beauty and the options for photography. They are endless. The food is second to none. Best of all, they provide great value without breaking the bank. The entire staff is so helpful and friendly. They will make sure that you know that you are their main priority. It's a family-owned venue and you feel that when you are there. Some venues feel more like a wedding factory, and you are just one wedding of many that they are having on that day. ince we didn’t have a wedding planner). It felt like they genuinely cared about us! All staff members on hand were phenomenal as well, always attentive and keeping the event running smoothly. In particular, Brian (distinguished member of the wait staff) was a great help to both of us. He made sure that we were attended to and comfortable, he was the perfect assistant! The food was amazing and received many compliments from our guests that night and in the following days. To top it all off, we got lucky with the weather and it was a perfect day to be in their outdoor space! When we first visited we were taken by the natural beauty at Meadow Brook, and it was even better than we imagined on our wedding day! Overall, we had a picture-perfect experience at Meadow Brook Inn and cannot recommend them more highly!

It felt as if we were planning a wedding with a good friend. I was impressed that they let us setup everything before the rehearsal and when we got there all the tables and linens were already set all we had to do was the decor. On our wedding day, we were planning on have a outdoor ceremony and it rained all day!! Marisa was amazing, she did not stress once (in front of us). The rain had broken for window of time and Marisa asked if we wanted to have it outside or inside. I appreciated that she was wanting the best for us and not what was convenient for her and the staff . We ended up having it outside and the rain held for the ceremony and pictures!! When me and my girls arrived on site we had lots of bags to bring in and before I could get back outside to grab my gown, he had already brought it in removed it from its garment bag and had it hung and displayed. He took alot of my worries away just by being so attentive. The other staff and bartenders were also very professional and accommodating. I had my fairytale wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! The weather was beautiful for our outdoor ceremony. We continually heard great words from all our guests on how delicious the food was and how professional the staff was. I highly recommend this venue if you want class charm and beauty. Brian (who stayed by my side and kept me calm) actually came up to the bridal suite 5-10 minutes before the ceremony and told us that the weather had cleared and we were able to move forward with an outdoors ceremony. This was the most important thing to me, and our ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Our pictures came out great too! Gorgeous scenery at Meadow Brook. The food was great as well; our guests enjoyed the bacon wrapped scallops, prime rib, and eggplant parmesan.

The venue its self was nice, the inside was a little run-down but at the end of the day the reason that I chose against this venue is because if it rains you're completely out of luck because there's really no space inside to take photos. My only other problem with this venue is that you only have the bridal suite for an hour prior to the wedding but after that you do not have any other access to it. I was really looking for a space that allowed us access to the bridal suite to steal away for a private photo, keep our belongings in, and or freshen up.

The food is on a whole other level though, can't say enough about it. Everyone loved the hors d'ourves and marinated steak dinner. I wanted to sing to my husband as I walked down the aisle, and Meadow Brook was more than happy to help me organise this with the DJ. I had a small wedding and had people coming from all sides of the globe - literally! My family came from Australia, and my husbands family and friends from both Canada and the United States. Marisa and Gabe are both so accommodating and helpful. My Mum was helping to organise the wedding and reception from back home in Australia, which meant some long distance phone calls and a tremendous amount of emails from both my Mother and I. I cannot stress how helpful Marisa was! She always got back to our emails quickly and helped put me (and my Mum) at ease by being so easy to work with! I have a severe gluten allergy which Marisa and Gabe were more than happy to accommodate for. My husband and I chose to have a buffet with three main meal choices and Meadow Brook Inn was able to adapt the meal choices specially for my gluten allergy! I was able to eat all of the main menu items, as well as some of the dessert items on the Viennese dessert table. We had two guests who were in wheelchairs and they had no troubles at all with getting to where they needed to be. Thank you to all of the staff at Meadow Brook Inn for helping my husband and I to have such a magical day - and a huge thank you to Marisa, Gabe, and also Brian, who helped ease my nerves throughout the day and looked after me the entire wedding and reception!!

!!! I called a few places and made a date to go see Meadow Brook Inn first. I met with Gabe and he was happy to answer my questions. He went over all the information and made it easy to understand. He was friendly and happy to show us around the property. Everything was perfect!!! He also told us about a food tasting that was coming up and we happily excepted the offer to go. The food was amazingly delicious!! We were stuffed and loved everything. I booked them that day and boy am I glad I did.
I next spoke with Marisa and she is great!! She and I discussed the finer details and I new I could trust her and the staff to pull off the perfect day.
From the moment of my arrival to Meadow Brook Inn on my wedding day to the last moments there they made sure that my experience was exceptional.
Now that a few months have passed I have had the time to type up this review and to this day my guests keep telling me that the food was great and the staff were too. They also say how beautiful it was.

Marisa and Gabe run an amazing business and will make sure that your wedding day is perfect and exactly what you want! I considered myself an easy going bride, however I do know that I had high expectations for my overall decor and how it would all come together. With their help, and the help from a few of my family members everything was beyond my expectations.

I lost about 15 lbs right before the wedding so my dress ended up being slightly big, Brian would even pull my dress up when it started to slip down!!! I would not change a single thing about my day. There is a beautiful outdoor ceremony space with a canopy and perfect foliage and landscaping. There is also an outdoor appetizer and bar area and a beautiful fountain and gazebo. The indoor area is beautiful with a raised dance floor...perfect for a dj and first dance. The food here is BEYOND SPECTACULAR and people are STILL raving about it!!! Outstanding appetizers and entrees and so much to choose from! My wife had a gorgeous bridal suite to get ready in and the staff was friendly, attentive and excited for us!!! licious, we still have guests raving about it! We made 90% of our decorations for the wedding and they were very accommodating. I had to go there multiple times to take pictures and measurements and they worked with me every time. They made our day stress free, which I wasn't even sure how that was possible! They did everything for us! I feel I have to mention Brian who was our personal server at the wedding. He was amazing not only with us but also the wedding party! The only negative thing I would have to say is that I wish we paid for more time! The night flew by so fast that we didn't get to do everything we wanted. If I had to do it all over again we would most definitely choose Meadowbrook again! Highly recommended!
