We had an incredible experience with our September wedding at Meadow Brook Inn!
We immediately fell in love with the beautiful garden, the historic charm of the ballroom, and the ...
idea of celebrating at an independent venue run by married couple Marisa and Gabe. They were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, answered all of our questions, and were always happy to welcome us back for additional tours whenever family members wanted to see the venue.
On our wedding day, their 20 years of experience hosting weddings at Meadow Brook truly showed. The entire day ran seamlessly, the food was delicious, and the staff was attentive, professional, and incredibly efficient. We never had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes and were able to simply enjoy our wedding.
The entire Meadow Brook team went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for throughout the day. Gabe made a point of checking in with the groom, and our couple’s attendant, Brian, even brought us a tray of hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour so we could enjoy some of the food. It was such a thoughtful touch and a perfect example of the attentive, personalized service we experienced.
We are so grateful to Marisa, Gabe, Brian, and the entire Meadow Brook team for making our wedding day so seamless, special, and memorable. We truly could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Meadow Brook Inn.
Marisa and Gabe and staff made my wedding super easy and it was such smooth process. Marisa always answered any question I had and was very thorough. They were very accommodating a...
nd let us bring things early and set up. We had our wedding on May 4th, 2025 and while it was supposed to rain, Marisa and Gabe assured me and my husband that everything could be moved inside if necessary. Luckily the weather held out and we were able to have our ceremony outside. The food was AMAZING from the soup and salad to the main entrees and the popcorn late snack. Brian and the rest of the waitstaff were phenomenal. Brian especially helped make sure I was calm and talked me through everything as it happened. He really went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I ate (even during pictures) and had everything we needed. At the end of the day, I could not imagined having my wedding anywhere else and I HIGHLY recommend them for weddings. They make everything easy and made the whole process simple for me and my family.
Meadow Brook Inn is a fantastic venue for any wedding. Weddings are a once in a lifetime experience, but the planning process can be quite stressful. Meadow Brook Inn will help you...
from start to finish to assure that your day is all you dreamed it would be. The venue itself is gorgeous, rain or shine, and it's suitable for all seasons. I am a photographer and every time I’m there, I’m overwhelmed by the beauty and the options for photography. They are endless. The food is second to none. Best of all, they provide great value without breaking the bank. The entire staff is so helpful and friendly. They will make sure that you know that you are their main priority. It's a family-owned venue and you feel that when you are there. Some venues feel more like a wedding factory, and you are just one wedding of many that they are having on that day. You won’t feel that way at Meadow Brook Inn. They specialize in making sure you feel special from the planning process to the very end. Stop wasting your time, just book Meadow Brook Inn. I highly recommend MBI to any couple looking for a beautiful, affordable, and well-run wedding venue.

ince we didn’t have a wedding planner). It felt like they genuinely cared about us! All staff members on hand were phenomenal as well, always attentive and keeping the event running smoothly. In particular, Brian (distinguished member of the wait staff) was a great help to both of us. He made sure that we were attended to and comfortable, he was the perfect assistant! The food was amazing and received many compliments from our guests that night and in the following days. To top it all off, we got lucky with the weather and it was a perfect day to be in their outdoor space! When we first visited we were taken by the natural beauty at Meadow Brook, and it was even better than we imagined on our wedding day! Overall, we had a picture-perfect experience at Meadow Brook Inn and cannot recommend them more highly!

The day of, Marisa was present and actively involved in making sure everything went according to plan and that everything began on-time. The food was excellent, and the staff at Meadow Brook Inn is AMAZING. Brian, the head waiter, was especially fantastic. He went out of his way to help make the day & night special. My guests had nothing but praise for the venue afterwards.
If you are looking for an affordable venue with an attentive and supportive staff, I cannot recommend Meadow Brook Inn enough. They played a pivotal role in making my dream day a reality.

Can’t say enough about this venue. Due to covid we had to cancel our Disney wedding. Decided to get married in Rhode Island in June. Had to move the date to August. Marisa was ...
so great when we had to change things. We also had to change from a buffet to a sit down dinner (Covid rules). Again Marisa was great. Of course it rained just before the wedding so we had to get married inside and again they were so accommodating. Everything was amazing. The food was fantastic and the staff was so helpful and friendly. We had a great wedding!!!

d wedding perfect! Marisa and Gabe are awesome! I literally have no words for how awesome they are! I would get married at Meadow Brook Inn over and over again! During such an uncertain time, they made sure to help us make our wedding into more than I ever could have imagined it being under the COVID circumstances!
The Meadow Brook inn hosted my wedding on 11/2/19 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. That staff and food are amazing!!!

eduled a food tasting they made all types of dishes and there was a lot of options. The communication between us was great, they were not overbearing with question. It felt as if we were planning a wedding with a good friend. I was impressed that they let us setup everything before the rehearsal and when we got there all the tables and linens were already set all we had to do was the decor. On our wedding day, we were planning on have a outdoor ceremony and it rained all day!! Marisa was amazing, she did not stress once (in front of us). The rain had broken for window of time and Marisa asked if we wanted to have it outside or inside. I appreciated that she was wanting the best for us and not what was convenient for her and the staff . We ended up having it outside and the rain held for the ceremony and pictures!! Now about Bryan, words cannot describes how much I appreciate this man he had my back all day and made sure I was fed and happy!! Thank you Marisa, Gabe, and Bryan and all the staff you have. You are all truly amazing people!

ough my big day! When me and my girls arrived on site we had lots of bags to bring in and before I could get back outside to grab my gown, he had already brought it in removed it from its garment bag and had it hung and displayed. He took alot of my worries away just by being so attentive. The other staff and bartenders were also very professional and accommodating. I had my fairytale wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! The weather was beautiful for our outdoor ceremony. We continually heard great words from all our guests on how delicious the food was and how professional the staff was. I highly recommend this venue if you want class charm and beauty. Thank you for making my day an amazing one I will never forget.

on hand. The owners Marisa and Gabe were were phenomenal to work with from day one, right thru to the final minute of the wedding. The bartenders and servers were on top of everything and then there was Brian. I cannot say enough about this man. I am not sure what his title is but he ensured the bridal party and parents were taken fully care of at all times. He is so friendly and caring. He takes pride in ensuring everything is just perfect. He is definitely an asset to this company. Anything you need, he will be there for you. Thank you to all for making our sons and daughter in laws wedding day the very best!

iewed a couple other places, but knew that Meadow Brook Inn was the right choice. They were so accommodating, the food was the best wedding food I have ever had, and the pictures outside are breathtaking! They did an fantastic job setting up all of our decorations, making sure we stayed on schedule throughout the night, and packing everything up at the end of it all! They even offer a late night snack menu- which my guests LOVED. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further; Meadow Brook Inn is the place to have your wedding!

ues. Up to the day of the wedding Marisa kept in contact through email and made sure we had everything we needed. On the day of the wedding we were stressed about the weather. Brian (who stayed by my side and kept me calm) actually came up to the bridal suite 5-10 minutes before the ceremony and told us that the weather had cleared and we were able to move forward with an outdoors ceremony. This was the most important thing to me, and our ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Our pictures came out great too! Gorgeous scenery at Meadow Brook. The food was great as well; our guests enjoyed the bacon wrapped scallops, prime rib, and eggplant parmesan.
My husband and I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at Meadow Brook Inn!!!
Meadow Brook Inn I would choose time and time again. They went above and beyond with our wedding and you can tell they are seasoned professionals. I will miss chatting with all of ...
them as they made us feel so comfortable. You can tell that their employees are considered family to them and they really are a well oiled wedding facility. I cannot thank Gabe, Marisa, Brian, and all of the staff at Meadow Brook Inn for making Iassic and my day perfect. Thank you again!
I just want to say how amazing the meadow brook inn was to work with. During the planning phase they answered all the questions in a very professional and prompt manner. The owners...
were there for every meeting, and even allowed us to take the leftovers from our food tasting. During the wedding the staff was so pleasant to work with. The grounds were absolutely beautiful we didn’t even need to hire a florist because they had so many flowers around the grounds. It was definitely an affordable wedding as well, overall best experience and nicest people we could have imagined. The whole thing would have been so much harder if we didn’t have the help of the amazing people at the meadow brook inn.

ceremony on the stage was fantastic. The staff is great to work with, so accommodating and open to ideas, you feel like you're working with family leading up to the big day. The staff the day of the event are also on point, always two steps ahead of everything and as I bride I didn't have to think about a thing...just smile and enjoy the event. The food is also delicious. If you are looking for a venue that has it all, everything in one place, easy to work with...Meadow Brook Inn is for you!

I viewed Meadow Brook in as a possible wedding venue, I did not get married here. I met Gabe on a dreary rainy day and that poor man did the best that he could to show me the outsi...
de gardens and really help me envision what the venue would look like in June. The venue its self was nice, the inside was a little run-down but at the end of the day the reason that I chose against this venue is because if it rains you're completely out of luck because there's really no space inside to take photos. My only other problem with this venue is that you only have the bridal suite for an hour prior to the wedding but after that you do not have any other access to it. I was really looking for a space that allowed us access to the bridal suite to steal away for a private photo, keep our belongings in, and or freshen up.

ng that it was so close to CT and cut down on the drive for our New York/New Jersey family members. However what kept us happy customers was Marisa! She is brilliant! Marisa treated us like valued partners every step of the way. Food was delicious, bar was stocked, facilities were clean, and there was plenty of parking. There are a ton of beautiful backdrops inside as well as outdoors in their beautifully manicured garden for pictures day or night! If you are looking for a small and family friendly venue that is both locally owned you have to visit Meadow Brook!

They were all extremely friendly, and very accommodating to all and any needs. The food was to die for. The auderves were also amazing and every thing that was served to me was delicious. Marisa and the rest of her staff are extremely helpful and do everything to make these special couples have the most special day of their lives. I highly recommend using them for a guaranteed amazing wedding day!

The food is on a whole other level though, can't say enough about it. Everyone loved the hors d'ourves and marinated steak dinner. ght up to the arbor. The indoor reception area is just as beautiful. I wanted to sing to my husband as I walked down the aisle, and Meadow Brook was more than happy to help me organise this with the DJ. I had a small wedding and had people coming from all sides of the globe - literally! My family came from Australia, and my husbands family and friends from both Canada and the United States. Marisa and Gabe are both so accommodating and helpful. My Mum was helping to organise the wedding and reception from back home in Australia, which meant some long distance phone calls and a tremendous amount of emails from both my Mother and I. I cannot stress how helpful Marisa was! She always got back to our emails quickly and helped put me (and my Mum) at ease by being so easy to work with! I have a severe gluten allergy which Marisa and Gabe were more than happy to accommodate for. My husband and I chose to have a buffet with three main meal choices and Meadow Brook Inn was able to adapt the meal choices specially for my gluten allergy! I was able to eat all of the main menu items, as well as some of the dessert items on the Viennese dessert table. We had two guests who were in wheelchairs and they had no troubles at all with getting to where they needed to be. Thank you to all of the staff at Meadow Brook Inn for helping my husband and I to have such a magical day - and a huge thank you to Marisa, Gabe, and also Brian, who helped ease my nerves throughout the day and looked after me the entire wedding and reception!!
Meadow Brook Inn made my wedding day, June 25th, 2016, the Best day Ever!!! I had been looking online at Venues in the area and kept going back to this one. It looked so beautiful!...
!!! I called a few places and made a date to go see Meadow Brook Inn first. I met with Gabe and he was happy to answer my questions. He went over all the information and made it easy to understand. He was friendly and happy to show us around the property. Everything was perfect!!! He also told us about a food tasting that was coming up and we happily excepted the offer to go. The food was amazingly delicious!! We were stuffed and loved everything. I booked them that day and boy am I glad I did.
I next spoke with Marisa and she is great!! She and I discussed the finer details and I new I could trust her and the staff to pull off the perfect day.
From the moment of my arrival to Meadow Brook Inn on my wedding day to the last moments there they made sure that my experience was exceptional.
Now that a few months have passed I have had the time to type up this review and to this day my guests keep telling me that the food was great and the staff were too. They also say how beautiful it was.
I just want to say thank you to Marisa, Gabe and all the staff for everything!!!!

per helpful! Brian, the head waiter made our night that much better! He was so helpful and personable! He made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. We always came first with everything and he didn't miss a thing! From cocktail hour, all the way through to the end of the night!
Marisa and Gabe run an amazing business and will make sure that your wedding day is perfect and exactly what you want! I considered myself an easy going bride, however I do know that I had high expectations for my overall decor and how it would all come together. With their help, and the help from a few of my family members everything was beyond my expectations.
They were easy to communicate with and so welcome to ideas, wether it be a menu/food choice or using greenery from a previous wedding at the last minute (request of mine). They really did make our wedding the most perfect night for us, and we know that if you choose Meadow Brook Inn you will not be disappointed!!! :)

Marisa & Gabe are the best! We just had our wedding there this past Saturday and it was so beautiful, I'm still in awe. I'm a worrier and totally clueless about making things look ...
pretty and planning big events. Meadow Brook helped make this whole process really manageable and the day of went so smoothly, no matter what little hiccups presented themselves along the way.
The grounds & reception room were flawless, everyone was psyched about how delicious the food was (and how MUCH there was!) and Brian (who was, essentially, in charge of me & my husband for the day) was super kind, patient and helpful, along with every other member of the staff. Everyone was pleasant and efficient and smiling.
If you're looking for a place to have your event, pick Meadow Brook!
