She walked around all of our guest nitpicking at everything and talking to our guest and telling them things that they could and couldn't do, even though our guests were not doing anything wrong, that killed the entire mood and the setting of The Wedding. We had no guest on our dance floor because people felt so uncomfortable. The staff were taking pictures of the rooms and the bathrooms as the wedding took place. During the middle of the reception, we ask them if there was a problem and they said no, so we were really unsure of why they were photographing pictures of the venue. We were very respectful of the place and no damages were caused. The staff and the sheriff followed all of my guests around consistently monitoring our guests and made them feel uncomfortable. We paid a large amount of money for this venue and felt that we did not get our money's worth. My wife and I are in such awe by the unprofessionalism of the staff of Meadow Creek Farm. The staff started going around and picking stuff up around 8:30pm even though we had the venue until midnight and making us and our guest feel like we were being rushed out of the door so leave Meadow Creek Farm is a beautiful place but a giant disappointment. We have also heard about some of our guest posting a review on here and now it is disputed. We are just shocked on how unprofessional this venue is and that they will not take anything but good reviews. All we are trying to do is prevent anyone else from paying that much money they deserve a heads up.

l I had to experience and witness the unprofessional owner/co owner Tara. I understand this is her place and she has every right to be there. But to walk around the whole time throughout the wedding and follow people around telling them no you can't do that or that's not allowed. (She was not at all nice about how she approached people or the Bride and was very rude) First off she was wearing blue jeans and a t shirt walking around this wedding sticking out like a sore thumb. The guests were being followed around like children and she will chase you down if your doing something she doesn't like. You were not allowed to walk around or near the pond and if you do, be ready for her or the security officer to come get you or tell say you can't do that. Please watch your kids like hawks because if they do anything she doesn't like and no one is forcing them to stay away from everything, she will then lock the Bride out of her room. I understand there are rules and regulations but the Bride does not need that kind of stress. The Bride was the only person she went and spoke to, to complain about literally everything. In my opinion, yes she is the renter but her parents helped and were very involved as well. Being said, the owner/co owner could have went to the parents for help or the maid of honor/bridesmaid to help with any issues. That way the Bride would not have to worry about anything. The Bride and Groom were very frustrated, upset and stressed the whole night. All the guests felt uncomfortable. Noone would dance and everyine left early because of the way things were. The owner/co owner will take pictures in the middle of your wedding but of the bathrooms, ceremony area outside and bride/groom area, for some reason. Btw, we read the contract and 8 out of the 10 so called issues, we're not in the contract what so ever. Oh and don't expect to be able to get there and go in 1 min before the 10:30 am opening time because that is not happening. Get ready to pay thousands and still have to set your own table and chairs and clean up after, including trash and sweeping etc. Oh and while she watches you do this and does not offer to help not one time. I honestly could say more about the things that she said were not allowed but I doubt anyone wants this post to be any longer than it is. Just beware!!

ng until well after the event had started. For what this venue costs, I was expecting them to be more willing to work with me and be easier to get in touch with. For my wedding and rehearsal dinner, the high was only about 45* with a fairly strong wind chill, and the heat wasn't turned on in the venue until 15 minutes before we were set to arrive on Friday for the rehearsal dinner, and it wasn't left on overnight for the wedding, which meant that it was rather cold the morning of the wedding. Overall, the wedding itself was fantastic (due to great experiences with other vendors and my mother's wonderful help), but I can't imagine trying to work with them if I was any more particular about things.

You would think a venue and staff would be more then accommodating to a bride and groom because the bride and groom could potentially give them more business by telling their friends how wonderful their experience was on their day. Not in this case. The staff seems so wonderful at first but after you give them your money that wonderful experience with the staff is gone! The staff was rude from the day we were decorating to the wedding day and everyday that we have had to interact with them since. It's a shame that on the best day of your life that you have to interact with such horrible, rude, and irrational people. READ THE FINE PRINT! You have to pay $200 an hour to decorate for your day when most venues let you decorate for free! And the bride also cannot hang her wedding dress in the locked bridal suite overnight because it is in the contract that "they are not responsible for items left over night" yet we decorated the entire ceremony and reception area and left it overnight in a less than secure area. The woman we asked to unlock the suite so the bride could hang her dress had no solid answer for why we could leave items overnight in the reception area and not in a locked bridal suite. She actually turned around and walked away from me as I asked her that. This woman was one of the most rude people we interacted with. She was a coward and sent her fiancé in to talk to me because she couldn't do it herself! Don't let the look of this venue fool you, this venue could be the worst experience of your life just because the people that work there! It's a shame that such a beautiful venue is run by these people.
