She offered us something to drink and kept the door to the shop locked to keep the appointment private and comfortable throughout changing in and out of the dresses. She showed us around the store, explaining which dresses were discontinued and which were not. When I pointed out a dress that was out of the price range I told her, Lissa would let me know the price of the dress and ask if I still wanted to try it on. I greatly appreciated this, as it stopped me from trying it on and falling in love with a dress I couldn’t afford. She allowed us to take our time and encouraged me to try on as many dresses as I wanted. I even tried on several dresses again before picking the final dress. When I tried on my top picks, she quickly picked out a beautiful veil for each to help me get a fuller vision. Lissa also assisted with helping me in and out of all the dresses, which made trying so many dresses on a breeze! I could tell that Lissa was genuinely excited for me and my fiancé. because every shop that I had visited had VERY few options of the certain waistline that I was looking for. From the moment I stepped in the door here, I felt so comfortable. Lissa was so kind and patient. I had narrowed it down to 2 dresses and literally tried them on back and forth 3 different times (without giving away too many details, this was way more than just zipping up the dress for Lissa) and I never felt that she was annoyed with me. In fact, she encouraged me to try them on until I felt certain. I never felt pressured to purchase anything. It actually took me 2 appointments to finally decide and I could not be more thankful for the team at Meadowbrooke for making my dress shopping experience so phenomenal. My only regret is not going here first!
