Do not book them for engagement photos. They were completely unresponsive after they had my money, and when I was finally able to get in contact with them (2 days before the shoot) they openly admitted they simply do not care to provide equal customer service to photoshoots, because they are primarily a wedding venue. If that's the case, they shouldn't offer photoshoots. AP, Jadie and Stacy are not up to this customer service job.
I loved working with Meadowlark for our wedding on March 20, 2022. Not only is this venue the most gorgeous, both AP and Jadie are amazing at what they do! Our wedding day went as close to perfect as one could hope and it was definitely thanks to the Meadowlark team's hard work. Our guests have continued to reach out to me about how beautiful the grounds were and how it was unlike any other venue they've been too. Thank you Meadowlark!
My youngest daughter and I were anticipating a Midnight Summer's Dream Evening wedding at Meadowlark Gardens on Saturday, May 20, 2017!! Everything was in place!! Cindy Greewald the Event Facilitator, had taken care of every last detail and the Big Day was upon us. All week the weather was going to be perfect. Big Sunshines and 0% chance of rain, until the day before it all started changing, like out of nowhere. My daughter made the last minute decision to rent one tent, just in case, so that we would have a covered area to run to if the rain started. Of course, Cindy got right on the phone Saturday morning and found a vendor who had a tent available.
Long story short, the heavens opened up at 5:00 p.m. wedding was scheduled for 6:00 and didn't stop until after the delayed ceremony at about 7:45 p.m. Cindy and the Meadowlark Staff were there walking us through what many would call a disappointing event. They catered to the wedding party in the Bridal Cottage, keeping us updated on what was going on outside, the men were in the Pool House, being catered to and having a grand time themselves. The vendors that we chose for food and drinks joined right in with taking care of the wedding party and our guests all the way through the entire evening.
This venue is particularly gorgeous when it is not raining and I so wish our guests could have been able to appreciate the beauty of the "Big Tree" ceremony, the gardens and all the extras at this venue!! It is just Stunning!! However, even with our 150 guests dodging raindrops through part of the evening, they all agreed that the treatment they received from Cindy and her Meadowlark Staff was unsurpassed by any they had experienced elsewhere. Also, this review would not be complete without thanking Sheena, owner of Grand Gourmet from McDonough, GA, and her entire staff. The food, it's preparation and presentation, even with an almost 1 1/2 hour delay, was superb!!! They all could not do enough to help us have the best celebration ever despite the circumstances.
All in all, I give Meadowlark Gardens a 5 Star Rating!! This place is Griffin's best kept secret. If you choose this venue, I pray your day is filled with sunshine and great temperatures!! However, even if it isn't, you will not be disappointed because this group is first class all the way. They are family and they make you part of that family!!
Thank you for making our Rainy Day Wedding and helping to turn it into Sunny Blue Skies with all who attended!!! Blessings to you All!!
Meadowlark is a beautiful place! I knew right away I wanted my wedding to be here. Cindy, the sole wedding coordinator was just the icing on the cake. She made me feel like I was her only Bride, even though I knew she had her hands full with other weddings & events. The day of, I wasn't stressed out one bit because I knew she had everything under control. This is what you want on your day. Cindy was always available to answer my questions & responded to emails in a timely manner.
Depending on the month of your wedding, (only certain months of the year are available) there may not be a lot in bloom at ML, but even the greenery is lush and beautiful. It really looked like a secret garden, with cool statues throughout the gardens. You can tell it is all very well cared for. Also, the price compared to other venues is a steal in my opinion. I highly recommend Cindy & Meadowlark! You won't be dissapointed.
I have had the opportunity to be a vendor at the
Gardens. I do flowers and decor and was inspired by the elegance of the grounds. This venue has several options for ceremony and reception, and is a secluded and quiet romantic place! It is a must see! HYR Designs
Beautiful venue, staff was kind and helpful. Our thanks to Cindy who quickly accommodated when we had to add another 20 guests to our wedding and reception 5 days before the wedding!
