Meant To Be Calligraphy

I am thrilled that we were referred to Michele and got to work with her. The calligraphy was gorgeous and she even shared tips on addressing etiquette (which we were pretty confused about before talking to her). Our invitations created quite the buzz among friends and family with the calligraphy being called out specifically but many. Aside for the great work, Michele was also fantastic at accommodating out quick turnaround request. We won't hesitate to call on her for any future calligraphy needs or to recommend her to friends!

I was thrilled to find that Michele at Meant to be Calligraphy, who is such a talented calligrapher, was located so close to my home. Michele responded quickly to my initial inquiry and throughout the process she was always responsive, helpful and a pleasure to do business with. I both dropped off and mailed stationary to her that I had purchased on WeddingPaperDivas.com. She did our table number cards, escort cards, and signage for the dessert table. When I picked up everything a few days before the wedding, I was blown away by the quality of her work and it exceeded my (high) expectations. Her work was a beautiful addition to the wedding day!

Michele with Meant To Be was recommended to us by Hitched, where we got our invitations. I had actually found Meant To Be previously when looking up calligraphers, and I knew her works was the best I had seen, so when Hitched recommended her and she was available, we ended our search. Our invitations were written in pewter instead of black, and Michele was able to match the color almost perfectly for the envelopes and escort/place cards. Additionally, she was familiar with the font that we used for our invitations before she even saw it, so she was able to offer up suggestions of what fonts she could do that would look the best with it. You can view all of her fonts on her website - we opted for Durham because of how good it looked with our invitations. When our invitations went out, I got several phone calls talking about how beautiful the calligraphy was and how they couldn't believe that a human being could actually do that. But Michele can because she is amazing. She also did our escort cards - we had planned to buy fancy ones that matched our invitations and programs, but because we waited until the last minute, we ended up having to buy plain ones from the Paper Source, but I was actually glad in the end because Michele's calligraphy is so stunningly beautiful that I wouldn't want a design to take away from it. Her work is gorgeous and flawless and if she's available, you should hire her immediately.

It was an absolute joy to work with Michele of Meant to be Calligraphy. Her work was outstanding and I could tell how much time and care she put into her designs. We had Michele address the invitations, create the escort cards, and make some other signs for the wedding. She also created a jpeg of her calligraphy for the menu card. We received so many compliments on the invitations and the escort cards and we know it was worth it to splurge on calligraphy. Michele has a lot of fonts to choose from and is willing to accommodate to your wedding's needs. She is easy to work with and easy to reach by email or phone. I'd highly recommend her!
