I photograph weddings throughout Illinois (Ernst Jacobsen Photography) and have photographed several weddings at Medici in Normal. It's a GREAT option if you're looking for a cozy...
, intimate venue for small to mid-size weddings in Uptown Normal. The upstairs portion of Medici is typically reserved for the wedding. The indoor portion is typically setup for cocktails and dinner while the adorable, open air patio is perfect for reception festivities from toasts to dancing. Plus, it's just steps from the both the Hyatt and Marriott hotels. Highly recommend!
My husband and I used Medici for our Rehearsal Dinner. Shayla went above and beyond for everything. She quickly responded with my questions within a day. The nice thing about Med...
ici's is that all the money spent is going towards something (ie food/ alcohol) and it's not just paying for a room rental.
Their prices were very affordable and the food was delicious!! Appetizers, entrees, desserts...everything!
We had about 55 people and rented the upper level (just the part above the stairs) and it was very comfortable.
On the night of we had about 5-6 people show up without RSVPing and Shayla quickly added a new table and place settings with a blink of an eye (even my unannounced guests were pleased with how welcoming it was). Such a professional place!! I'd highly recommend! We got so many compliments that it was such a nice place and wonderful evening to spend with family before our big day.
A perfect rehearsal dinner! The service, food and atmosphere was perfect! We were very happy with everything! Very reasonable and great to work with! We will be back!!
Medici has always been a favorite place for my husband and me. When we interviewed them for our wedding reception, we knew it was the place. The events coordinator and staff were...
amazing. They worked diligently on making the event run smoothly and timely. The food was cooked perfectly, and we heard many compliments after our event. I would recommend this vendor for any bride and groom who want a more modern wedding venue.
I had a bridal shower here and it was beautiful!! The room is great and the staff was excellant.
not worth the money
We had our rehearsal dinner at Medici, which was VERY convenient for us, since our wedding was held at the Marriot just down the block. The food was fantastic! I especially loved...
the vegetarian lasagna and the mini-dessert platters. We also got the upper floor to ourselves, and we had a great time! I would highly recommend Medici for a rehearsal dinner, especially if you are getting marrried in downtown Normal!
We had our rehearsal dinner and a private family brunch here and it was perfect! The food is awesome and the atmosphere is wonderful!!! Everyone we worked with was friendly and he...
