They were an amazing dream team! All of the women looked flawless. They even helped nurse Mr back to health after a long night at the rehearsal party 😅 The were accommodating and friendly. It was like we'd known then for years! We were goving hugs by the time said goodbye 💚Thank you all and especially Chris and John for doing my (bride) hair and make up! So many compliments and my hair/make up didn't move at all! You guys are the best!

As a bride, hair and makeup are beyond important! For me, working with Chris, Frank and John were amazing! Not only are they super talented but extremely fun! They were punctual and reasonably priced! So amazing at their work! They replicated all that I wanted!

Very pleased with both Frank and Chris! Arrived early, made sure I was very happy with my make up, esp since I usually wear very little. Looked perfect for all pics. Chris requested pics of desired hairdo, and his final product surpassed the pics! Highly recommend.

I think Frank and Chris did a great job! I looked and felt beautiful and my bridesmaids did too. They were a pleasure to work with, patient and upfront about all costs and time needs. Indeed, they helped me personally. The day before the wedding my mom tripped and broke her wrist and cut her forehead. The morning of the wedding she had a terrible black eye! Frank was kind and understanding and worked some kind of magic makeup job. Unless she pointed it out, no one could see the bruising and the make-up was barely perceptible. As well, there is not a picture in the stack- up close or from afar- where one can tell how bad the bruising was.

Disclaimer: My complaints are concerning Frank, who also does hair and makeup. For the wedding Chris was supposed to do my hair but unfortunately he wasn't able to due to unforeseen circumstances. -------------------- I agree with a previous reviewer where she mentioned that Frank was rude and quick to talk about charging extra. One of my bridesmaids did not sign up for hair and makeup. She was attempting to put false lashes on but with no luck. She asked me and another bridesmaid for help but we were too busy getting ready ourselves. She then asked Frank if he could help. I agree that she probably should not have asked since she did not pay for services, but the outburst that followed made everyone very uncomfortable. To paraphrase, he stated that she had not payed for any (insert obscenity) services so no he would not help. Then a few tense seconds passed by and he attempted to lighten the mood by saying he was kidding. It was very awkward. In terms of quality of the work, I wish I could post pictures. Since Chris was only available last minute to do my makeup, they had someone else come in to do hair. She was nice but I don't think she was as well trained. My up-do and one of my bridesmaid's up-do was coming apart, in addition to a lot of frizzing. Luckily photoshop was able to fix some of these issues. I had a wonderful wedding, but what upset me most was when Frank asked to leave a review and I stated that since I was not happy with the services I probably shouldn't. His response was "...We do our best to please everyone but people sometimes have unreasonable expectations". I don't think wanting to have a polite beautician and an up-do that is not frizzy and stays in place is an unreasonable expectation. The response has been bothering me since after my wedding so I thought it was time to put my two cents in and suggest you avoid getting your hair and makeup done by Frank.

Chris did my hair & make up and I was very please with the way I looked. I did all the reservations with Frank and he sent this dream team to the venue to get my bridesmaids, flower girls, and me all pretty. The first thing my now husband said to me was that I looked beautiful. Chris and his team were very easy to work with. Accommodating with our space and fun throughout the entire process. My sisters were impressed when they sent three professionals to get us ready. I felt pampered and beautiful. If your looking for professionals that are fast and great at what they do Call Frank and hire Medusa's Mane Hair & Makeup you will look beautiful all day guaranteed.

I loved this vendor because they really helped make the wedding day so much easier. They come out to the hotel and did all our hair and makeup onsite. Great service! My makeup was beautiful! My hair did fall down part way after the ceremony, but at that point I didn't care. Would recommend getting photos taken first like we did to look your best. Loved Chris and would highly recommend!

They did 3 bridesmaids, bridal, and flower girl hair for my wedding and also bridal makeup. The final results were great but they didn't follow any of the pictures I gave then beforehand even though they brought the photos. I also had them return to fix one hair do that looked fine in the back but after seeing the front was not happy with it at all. They came right back and fixed it with no issue or additional fee. They were on time, funny to listen to and came to the venue which was a huge help.

I booked Medusa's Mane on good faith after reading reviews. I did NOT enjoy my experience with them. I found the owner and one of the helpers to be incredibly rude. I received an email from them with instructions, including how if I didn't want an updo that freshly washed hair was fine. Well, I didn't want an updo, just something simple and down, so I washed my hair that morning. When I first walked into the room, I was yelled at by Chris for having washed hair and the first thing out of his mouth was that he'll have to charge me extra to blow dry it. Since he came early, I replied that I was planning on doing it myself if given just 10 more minutes. He grumbled about it, and tried to look into his notes for proof he said not to wash my hair, but couldn't find it. There was confusion with a my husband's aunt and cousin who thought they could come to get their hair and makeup done as well. Mind you, they speak very little English. When Chris found out, he literally started complaining out loud, throwing his hairbrush down, and telling us he is going to charge us extra for them. I understand the extra charge, but it is flat out RUDE to act like that and it made them feel very uncomfortable. They sat in their chairs, feeling unwelcome and really bad and uncomfortable. My mom had to take the assistant out of the room to tell them we're happy to pay for the costs, but please don't act like that. They spent a lot of time complaining about it, making the atmosphere tense, and saying they were not sure they could complete everyone on time. They ended up finishing 1.5 hours early despite the extra 2 people. While the hair and makeup turned out fine, overall it was not worth their behavior and I would not recommend them. A wedding preparation session should be fun and relaxing, not full of arguments and a diva stylist acting rude.

Although it was a little scary, we planned our entire wedding from far away without meeting any of the vendors. I was very happy with my experience with Medusa's Mane. It was very easy to book with Chris and Frank. It was important to me to have someone come to my room to do my hair and make-up. I didn't want to be driving around in the heat and humidity stressing out before the wedding. Chris arrived on-time with an arsenal of hair and make-up supplies. He was very professional and friendly. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. He did a great job on my hair and makeup. He was great at offering suggestions and also sticking to what I wanted. I highly suggested working with these guys. Thank you for doing such a great job! The pictures turned out perfectly :)

Chris and his crew came it with toolbelts of make-up brushes, boxes of bobby pins, curling irons galore, and cans of hairspray. Within a few hours they had transformed my wedding party and myself. I felt like a magazine model with the hair and makeup Chris did on me. NO ONE had ever seen me with such perfect makeup. I tend to go with a natural look and Chris honored that but still gave me the wow factor with hair and makeup! They even went the extra mile to show my sister and cousin how to apply eye makeup like they did on me! The prices may seem high, but I figured it was my one and only wedding day.

The guys from Medusa's Mane did a great job! The hair and make-up was beautiful and photographed so well. They brought the drama! We had women of every age, and they made everyone look amazing!

These wonderful people saved as much of my day as they could. I can't say enough about their awesome people and their good work. If you don't hire them,you are just crazy! I just lucked out when I found these guys. Very professional...I just can't say enough good things!

I absolutely loved loved loved these guys! My hair and markup was so easy and they were so accommodating for me! This was the most fabulous experience of the whole ordeal! They made me not worry and feel like everything would be perfect! And of course my hair and makeup was! They also made my hair look exactly like the pictures I showed them for the wedding and the rehearsal dinnner! Wonderful!
