We used Meg Cooper for both our engagement session and our wedding and loved working with her! She took time prior to us booking with her to meet up with us for coffee in order to get to know each other. She was really fun and easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable during our sessions. The quality of her pictures are wonderful. We have only seen a couple of our sneak peeks from our wedding and are really excited to see the rest of our pictures! You will not be disappointed!

Meg is amazing. From taking extra time on our engagement session to countless emails and several in-person meetups, she went the whole nine yards and then some to make sure we were happy. She even stayed an extra half hour on either end of our shooting time on the wedding day to make sure we got all the photos we wanted. My new husband is a photographer, so he was very picky when we were choosing one for our wedding day. Meg's photos are always clean, bright, elegant, and unique. She captured our personalities and style perfectly with every shot. She has the right balance of giving guidance during the shoot and letting you come up with your own fun ideas. In short--she wowed us, from before the engagement shoot all the way up to the wedding day and after. Every penny we paid Meg was well spent--and you won't find yourself scraping at the bottom of your wallet like you typically do with photographers of her caliber. Not to mention, she's so kind. Her work is always stunning and professional, but she never gave us the impression that she was "too good for us" like some photographers I contacted when I was researching. She's sweet and genuine, and has a great way of putting her clients at ease. Especially planning our wedding from several states away, she helped me feel relaxed and like everything photo-related was going to go smoothly (and it did). We are planning on using Meg whenever we are in Minnesota to visit my parents...we picture anniversary shoots, Christmas cards with our future children, and more. She's that good. You won't go wrong hiring Meg, and I know The Knot would agree. They've given her the "Best of..." awards several times and I know she's been featured in a lot of online blogs and print publications. My now husband and I hired Meg to shoot our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Meg makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera you forget she's there. Unless she wanted a specific shot with us she was almost invisible, running around snapping amazing candid photos of all our friends and family, down to the small details of our day. Your wedding day goes by so fast you don't notice every little detail so for Meg to preserve those for us was so great. In addition to her eye for candid shots, her photo editing is top knotch. She used a soft matte finish for our rustic wedding photos and they turned out incredible. The colors and loghting was so vivid. I have (and still would) recommended Meg to friends and family getting married!!

Choosing someone to capture such a special and momentous occasion in your life is a very important decision. I spend many hours searching for a photographer that I could trust with such a task. As soon as I saw Meg's work I fell in love. Meg did our engagement and wedding photos and my husband and I have been very happy with both. We had the most wonderful experience with Meg during our winter engagement photo shoot! It was such a cold day but we ended up having so much fun because of Meg's easy going personality. She was up for anything, made us feel so comfortable, and really captured us having fun. I am so glad that she suggested the idea of a winter photo shoot because the photos turned out amazing!! Beyond our expectations! She recently captured our wedding and we cannot wait to see the photos! She was more than willing to do a walk-through of our venue with us a month before the wedding to pick out ahead of time a few shots we wanted to be sure to capture. She captured all those and more the day of our wedding and did a great job coordinating all the family members and wedding party to get the more formal pictures but also got several candid ones as well, which we love! Meg was shared with us from a friend of mine who had previously used Meg Cooper Photography for her engagement, wedding, and baby session. We initially choose her based on price and that she did not have piles of extra tie-ons to the package (i.e. books, calendars, prints). Everything was included in the price (engagement and wedding photos, plus a jump drive with hundreds of pictures and the rights). Besides those basic details, the work that Meg displayed on her website and blog were true to what we received. We could not believe that we were looking at ourselves in our pictures - they looked like they came out of a magazine. Meg does amazing work and was worth every penny. She has wonderful creativity, is an excellent photographer, and was accessible and willing to create whatever backdrop we were looking for. I highly recommend her and we plan to use her again for family photos.

I actually found Meg Cooper on a forum on theknot.com talking about affordable MN wedding photographers. I was very impressed with her photos on her website. We met with her and she had some creative ideas for our engagement photos. She made us feel so comfortable during the engagement photos and are so happy with the pictures! We've gotten so many compliments about how the engagement photos are the best they've seen. She did an amazing job with our wedding photos, I can't stop looking at them they are so beautiful. We are so thrilled we were able to have Meg shoot our big day. We were fortunate enough to meet with Meg a few times before we had to get in front of the camera for our engagement session and our wedding day. Meg was a total professional from the very beginning to the end. She added a thoughtful and organized feel to an otherwise chaotic (but fun!) day. I think that her fees were incredibly reasonable given how talented she is and I can't wait to see all of my final photos. To begin with, my husband and I were more than pleased with the outcome of our engagement photos. Not only were they accommodating to our style but they highlighted each of our personalities and told our love story. Meg was fabulous to work with, she came completely prepared and had many ideas at hand. To our good fortune, Meg was very professional and efficient with the editing and delivery of the photos. Meg did our engagement pictures and for two people who aren't naturals in front of the camera, we felt so comfortable and had tons of fun! We are having a destination wedding in Florida and wanted to incorporate that aspect. Meg found a small airplane hangar in Twin Cities and we were able to take many great pictures. The pictures really captured us as a couple and we LOVED, LOVED, LOVED them. Meg is fabulous and would highly recommend.

Our experience with Meg was perfect! Her price is so reasonable for what she offers that everyone I know that is getting married I recommend her to them. She responds quickly and is so friendly. We had our engagement pictures done during Christmas at night and they turned out beautifully! We've only seen about 6 pictures from our wedding that took place 2 weeks ago and they are stunning! We had her for 8 hours with her assistant photographer and they were so great to work with. Highly, highly recommend her to all my friends and family.
