relaxed. An admitted flaw of mine is that I am extremely type B and indecisive, while simultaneously wanting the best. I dragged my feet throughout all aspects of the wedding planning process - especially when choosing vendors, but after chatting with Meg on the phone I knew immediately she was who I wanted handling hair and makeup. Everyone in my bridal party raved about her work and I felt like a literal vision with my hair and makeup. Both the big picture and little details were just so meticulously well done, for example I had my makeup trial only a couple days before my wedding (like I said type B), and I came to her studio with a LOT of dryness around my eyes and chapped lips. She made a micro list of products that would potentially remedy these issues. I immediately went out and grabbed them and it made a HUGE difference come the morning of the wedding. Also, subjectively I felt like I tried to keep the flow of my bridal party moving along - making sure they were present/accounted for a bit ahead of their scheduled time slots - to ensure we were staying on track time-wise. Sometimes that's easier said than done and there were a few hiccups on our end with getting the girls in their chairs at the right times. I’m sure this was mildly frustrating for her and her team, but I would never know because not once were they anything but warm and delightful. Great vibes all around and just overall really elevated the experience we had that morning. I wanted to feel like it was me and my closest girls just hanging out as normal and that’s exactly what it was - except at the end I felt like my friends looked like supermodels. Her work is beyond impressive and truly everything I envisioned for the day.

ittle makeup and wanted to ‘look like myself’ but also to look polished and festive to go along with my formal attire. I’m so happy I went for it! Meg put me at ease, understood completely what I wanted, and I couldn’t have been happier with the final result. I had brought along a sparkly hair pin that went with my dress, and a lipstick color I was comfortable wearing. She incorporated these with her own artistry and I got lots of compliments on the final result. Meg is the best!

day itself, they were incredible to work with: quick and efficient, while still maintaining a level of detail that is honestly insane. My makeup and hair did not BUDGE for 14 hours, which is when I took it off to go to bed. They’re also two of the sweetest people ever, and so much fun to hang out and chat with. Karolina is a magician when it comes to hair. I honestly could not believe how beautiful my hair was and somehow it stayed perfectly intact throughout the entire evening. She is also such a nice and wonderful person to work with. I was fortunate enough to work with Meg herself for my makeup. She is a true artist and professional. She is in high demand for a reason. She was able to take my random makeup ideas, create a vision and execute it flawlessly. She is also a kickass business woman and an incredible person to work with. I received a countless number of compliments on my hair and makeup. I was truly blown away by Meg and Karolina's incredible skill, artistry and friendliness. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend them!

g, especially with the variety of skin tones. No one looked ashy, grayish or orange. I was truly impressed. But what was most impressive was how she treated our 97 year old demanding grandmother. She was not scheduled to get her makeup done but Megan made room for her when we requested. She even refused to name a price, leaving it up to us what to tip her for the extra work. I worried this would mean Granny wouldn’t gets ‘the works’ she was asking for but boy was I wrong! It even included eyelashes! She was so gentle and kind and Granny kept saying how beautiful she felt! Our looks lasted the entire night!!! Truly impressed by her work and I definitely would hire her again .

She is also very accommodating on the day of the wedding if there are any last minute changes or needs. All of my bridesmaids were very happy with their looks and could not stop sharing how sweet Meg’s team was while they waited to get their make up done. When my husband and I received all our wedding photos, there was not one photo we were unsatisfied with. My makeup and hair lasted all throughout the wedding day and complimented my personality. They put so much love into their (GORGEOUS) work and genuinely care for their clients. We were in constant communication with one another and I really felt heard whenever I had doubts, questions, or general inquiries. When my wedding day finally arrived, I felt and looked incredible and so pampered. Did I mention the quality of their work? Not so much? It's because I was gushing about the actual staff - which is half the battle, honestly. Meg + Nikki had me GLOWING on my wedding day. To this day (two months after my wedding) everyone won't stop gushing about how gorgeous I looked. Nikki (hair) even offered to help style my sister's wig, even though she wasn't on schedule. To top it off, Meg and I are still in communication. She still messages to ask about how I'm doing, how my (terminally ill) sister is, and how she's constantly keeping us in her prayers. My wedding photos didn't come out as I had hoped, and she offered to put me in contact with retouchers. Honestly, you won't regret going with Meg O'Hare. incredible!! The make up didn’t move all day. The hair stayed solid all day and night. And aside from that the artists themselves are not only great at their craft but so personable and friendly and make you feel like you’re the most important client. I would have happy hour with any of them now that the wedding is over that’s how much we bonded and felt like friends! Book them!!!

Our wedding started at 4:30pm and our first bride's maid was scheduled to started getting ready at 7:40am and our make up and hair lasted throughout the entire day! They created an entire schedule for us for the morning of and followed it seamlessly. Meg is an AMAZING make up artist. I've never been happier with someone's make up services. I had a special vision for my make up and she was thrilled to help me achieve it! Val also came back after our ceremony to update my hair style and got me taken care of so quickly! We could not be happier we chose them for our special day.

I was BLOWN AWAY at my trial appointment and the team was so sweet and punctual. Fast forward to the wedding, the pandemic forced us to change our wedding date. Meg was beyond patient and was able to quickly help me find a date her team was available. With a change in the venue, they made small adjustments with my hair that left me speechless. Every single guest commented on how natural looking the make up was and how stunning the up-do was. I promise you cannot go wrong with Meg - she will make your wedding dreams come true and make it a blast the entire way!!

I was really nervous about makeup because I don’t usually wear any, and I usually feel very unlike myself when I get it done. Meg worked out the perfect natural look for me that was still “done up” enough for a bride! I felt like it was the perfect version of myself for my wedding day. She was so nice and pleasant to work with as well! I highly recommend using her as your makeup artist.

singe person looked AMAZING. My bridesmaids wouldn't stop talking about how great they were especially compared to other weddings they had been in where their hair and makeup experience was awful. Meg and her team were all so friendly, on time and made sure we were on schedule. We were actually ahead of schedule most of the day. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and didn't have to touch up my makeup AT ALL! It stayed on so well and even at the end of the night everyone was shocked at how good my hair and makeup still looked. They were SO responsive during the whole process and made setting everything up so easy- which is surprising seeing as we had so many people getting their hair and makeup done. Don't even second guess booking them- JUST DO IT!!!!

rom my very first phone call with Meg, I could tell how well we connected and how awesome she was. She totally understood exactly what I was looking for...and then at the makeup trial, I truly couldn't have been more thrilled!! It was perfect...I felt like I looked very natural , but like the best version of me...which was exactly what I had requested! Knowing how much I loved my hair and makeup after the trials (and how much I loved Meg and Val) gave me such peace of mind going into the wedding weekend. AND on the wedding day, it was genuinely so fun having them and the team there with all my girls. in the LA area. I am Japanese and I'm often pretty hesitant about having other people do my makeup because if they don't know how to do asian makeup it can often look kind of off. Meg won me over with her amazing personality and the fact that she has worked a ton in japan for beauty. Prior to my big day and during my trial she made me feel super comfortable and was incredibly responsive on any questions, concerns or tweaks to my makeup and hair. Something that I truly appreciate is that they everyone on the team was really great at communicating, which made all the difference because you can tell that they want you to look and feel your best so they are willing to give you their honest opinion given their expertise if needed but also great at executing that look that you really want. I have to say that including myself, the moms, and all of my bridesmaids that literally every single person looked flawless (both hair and makeup). I can't tell you how many people also gushed over my hair and all credit is due to Samar. My hair and makeup lasted all night long (including through crying during my MOH's speech and hours of dancing). Meg and her team are genuinely amazing, sweet, personable, and funny. It was just like having a group of awesome friends with you on the big day to help you get ready. I can't wait until I have a big event in the future and get to work with the wonderful Meg again!

All of our hair came out even better than we thought by the pictures we showed and the girls really took their time. My trail was great and really necessary to make sure we were in the same page.
